>Reinhard dies in bed surrounded by his friends and family
>Yang bleeds out alone in the void of space
It's not fair ;_;
Nothing is fair. Yang was also killed by a nameless mook.
Well Reinhard was killed by a nameless disease. That kind of evens things out... right? right?
Even the part where Yang's most trusted admirals and advisers gave up their life so they could save Yang, just to have everyone die horribly on that ship because some power-hungry old man thought he can achieve something with it?
He was still all starry-eyed and content
Yang on the other hand died depressed and reflecting on all the blood he shed, despite the best of intentions.
I don't think Reinhard was that starry-eyed by the end. Losing Kircheis, among other things, took a toll on him.
>thinking LoGH is fair after watching this be destroyed
I hate this motherfucking drama queen so much
His rebellion arc didn't even go anywhere, I wish that Series 4 had just fleshed out the Empire/Iserlohn/Terraism interactions.
Yang was killed like a bitch.
Reinhard died content with family - he didn't die nor did he run out of time, he fulfilled his legacy and that's that.
This is how Yang should've gone.
When you focus on the generals who just sat in their chairs, gave the minimum of orders except the very elite while millions meaninglessly died, it sorts of ironic that people cry because of Yang's death,
Do you guys think Reinhard calls out Kircheis' name while fugging
That's only because the show chose to focus on him, though.
If the protag had been a nameless rank-and-file soldier we'd feel for him all the same.
Probably. He did every time before. I just wonder if Reinhard felt strange having to top for the first time with her.
I bet he fondle his pendant while having sex with her.
Jokes aside I do wonder if it was intentional there be homosex undertones to Reinhard and Kircheis' relationship.
No, it's not fair because the one Reinhard truly wanted to be with wasn't there.
Truniht did nothing wrong
Truniht is what is wrong with America
What are jokes
There's nothing to joke about.
Jesus my emotions dude. I was actually happy today until that. RIP Yang.
I don't think so. They were the greatest of bros, transcending sexuality.
You are wrong. A man only truly dies, When he is forgotten.
Well at least Tonio got something good.
I'm pretty sure there was. Not necessarily in a "they're both homosexuals" way, but at very least in a "singular emotional attraction" sort of way.
Reunethal x Mittermeyer >= Yang x Dusty >>> Kirchesis x Reinhard.
I wish there were more women in this series merely so that shipping faggots wouldn't point their cross hairs of doom at the manly men of this show.
Nothing shipping about what I posted, I think as best buddies go, Reu and Mitt were more fun and interesting then bland Reinhardo and Kirchesis.
Is it a bad thing that I saved that picture as "the solution to democracy"?
Not at all.
As much as I adore Reinhard, I gotta agree with this sentiment. Though, I'm not so sold about the Yang x Dusty thing.
PS you forgot Poplan and his bro.
Hilda should've just dyed her hair red
Russian dude? Yeah he was cool.
Poplan was the fighter pilot under Yang who kept giving Dusty shit for being a wizard; his bro (whose name admittedly escapes me) was another pilot who got killed
Konev I think was his name.
I really gotta wonder what was going through her head. She knew that Reinhard and Kircheis were extremely close, and probably surmised that her relationship with the Kaiser grew out of proximity more than any sense of true love. At least he died before he could grow cold and break her heart.
Yup, that's the name. I just checked MAL.
His death was indirectly foretold by the last word he solved in his crossword - "What is the thing that happends to man only once?" - Funeral. ;_;
If I recall correctly either he or Poplan looks right at the viewer when that line happens. It spooked the shit out of me.
How is he still single?
The way I see it we got quality over quantity.
he's dating Ms.Celebasty
Hilda has shit taste in men
>Guy rules the entire galaxy sans a single planet
I think she made the right choice.
Hell Reinhard could have been hard gay and it would still have been the best choice
Enjoy your gold-digging whore then
Yeah, the four girls I can recall were all pretty good.
A shame what happened to Edwards
Wish she'd shown up in that uniform more.
I could see why Reinhard would attract gold diggers, because he ain't no poor nigger, but Hilda was a bit too classy for that.
Yeah, I love a woman in unifrom.
She probably knew that Kircheis was the most important person for Reinhard but then again Hilda wasn't the kind of person that get jealous of dead man, she herself lament Kircheis's presence as a support for Reinhard. Who by the way wasn't an unkind husband to her even their marriage wasn't really politically motivated.
Although not politically motivated, I question how much love there was in the relationship. It seemed to have been brought about by momentum. They were close, because of their roles in government, and, when a slip in judgement resulted in pregnancy, Reinhard had to take responsibility.
>tfw you actually showed up to work the next day depressed after [spoilers]watching yang die[/spoiler:lit]
I almost got sent home early
Before the "homosexual awareness" wave, some friendships between men were more commonly like that and it was acceptable. It especially holds true for people who fight together during a war.
She got pregnant during their first time together? I thought it was later. Anyway while they live a very public life and needs of formality and protocol never allow then much room for shows of affection of normal couples the few private moments we see of there life show then happy like here >>101928994 or during their honeymoon when it gets interrupted by a call both of them are shown in bathrobes and the lights of the house are all off.
This is also worth considering.
Intimacy wasn't always sexual in nature before Western civilization began to slip into degeneracy.
In fact, doesn't LoGH touch on this exact subject?
To be fair Reinhard was in his 20s and Yang was in his 30s.
Yang lived a longer life
Did Hilda let him call her 'Big Sis?'
She looks happy and satisfied so she probably like it too.
>You will never show your son the stars knowing he can travel among one day to be a great conqueror
Reunthal's shitstain of a kid is going to start the whole process of war over again
That ending depressed the hell out of me
Anyone has the image of Oberstein interrupting the wedding to inform the Kaizer he has autism?
and maybe it opens the possibility to a secuel, where Felix betrays the docile and confident Siegfried Lohengramm
I think one of the man themes of the entire show was the inevitability of war and simply trying to make a conflict have as little horror as possible. People will always have differences, eventually disagree about said differences, and then fight till one remains or is subjugated. Then rinse and repeat in smaller intervals in the world of internal politics till it spills over to actual strife again.
>docile and confident Siegfried Lohengramm
He couldn't be emperor then.
Wow, that picture. Wow.
I need another drink.
Brandy, for Yang
Reuenthal didn't deserve such a nice death.
Oberstein did everything right.
He did what no one else would.
