Who is your favourite anti-social character?
Who else than pic related, OP?
the lonely alpha wolf doesn't count.
>3 good characters
>3 very bad characters
lots of 8man
I guess /a/ really likes their generic harems over actual orginal content
Hiki gay /a/
So you haven't even watched it.
Only Shinji and 8man are bad.
Hachiman > Kaiji > Satou > Kuroki > Shinji
Who are the good ones?
Kaiji, Kurosawa and Shinji right?
Kurosawa and Kaiji because they keep trying despite their bad hands. Everyone else in that pic is doomed to failure for life.
I fucking hate you, fucking piece of shit faglords. Stop pretending it's something more, you delusional ego cocksuckers.
OMG THEY R JUS LIEK ME
What is the appeal of watching these characters? They are boring. Do you just need proxies to project through?
>Go through list of my favourite characters
>Only one of them isn't antisocial or socially awkward
I don't think I can call Kurosawa and Kaiji asocial to begin with, what is left for anti-social.
I hate you too.
>not posting Tomoko
Tomoko, She was fucking great, I enjoyed watching her character.
Let me guess, it's also "moeshit", huh?
>Shinji over anyone
He's just the worst. Who the fuck would like him? Nothing reedeming.
Let me guess, you are trying to fit in by putting words together, even if they make no sense?
Close but not cigar:
2 very good characters
1 good character
2 ok characters
1 very bad character
No Ressentiment or the other Kurosawa?
Also strongest man is best.
He was voted the number one 90s male character for Newtype.
>Who is your favorite asocial character?
I know what you're doing
I'm not going to ask you.
>confusing asocial with antisocial
This is antisocial. and maybe shinji for wanting to destroy the world
All others are asocial.
Tomoko may be okayish, but 8man is fucking garbage. Die.
Is he antisocial?
But he's got a GF now. And a dog. And a bro for life.
I'm mocking you because you try to talk about a show without even watching it, or categorizing harems with little knowledge. And that classic "/a/ loves moeshit and hates good shows like Cowboy Bebop"
You're so mean, anon.
Was Kaiji really anti-social? He was a loser, maybe, but he didn't seem to have a problem getting people on his side.
u wot m8
He is a genius. People feel to small around him to look at him as anything else.
But I never read Ten, so I may be wrong.
He's just crazy. Mahjong makes you crazy, don't you remember.
Also, Kurosawa is just a loser, not antisocial. And I don't know what Kaiji is doing there.
Anti-social. Not asocial.
Kurosawa > Shinji > Kaiji > Satou > 8man >>>>>>>>>>>> Tomoko
Shinji is a great character.
What, why should I die? I completely agree with you, you have assorted these two correctly.
>They are just like me
But that is great. You feel you are part of the show. How could a show possibly be better?
He was socially akward around people, intentionally often.
And you categorizing me as someone who hasn't watch it and basically as a someone from /v/ without any bases too, but it doesn't hold you back, does it?
He is everything that is Evangelion. It's impossible to actually like Evangelion without liking Shini at least as a character.
Does that mean that for you Shinji is okayish or even better?
I mean, fuck, I have watched EVA only once a very long time ago, but I don't think a second time will change my opinion about it.
Do you even know what anti-social means, m8?
The best wasn't that he wasn't able to talk to people or was a faggot about it, like whatever OP posted, but he just didn't fit with people. He still had friends, had a bitch who just wanted to fuck him and ended up getting married and he still remained anti-social.
But Shinji isn't anti-social.
At some point of the show he didn't want to meet new people only because his friends were either dead or loosing it. Otherwise he is perfectly okay, got himself bros, didn't give a shit at Asuka's yelling and etc.
Shinji is one of the 2 very goods. Very believable depiction of a child soldier in a mordern society.
And which one is your other one?
1. Shunning the society of others; not sociable.
2. Hostile to or disruptive of the established social order; marked by or engaging in behavior that violates accepted mores: gangs engaging in vandalism and other antisocial behavior.
Is Oreki a wannabe anti-social?
Now you are more fun than this >>101913993 guy.
The other one is Kurosawa.
Anti-social: hostile/unfriendly/sinister towards people (active/harmful)
Asocial: withdrawn from society/lacking social contact (passive/harmless)
>using mal at all
And you want to discuss taste.
My bad, it's been ages since I watch Kaiji. I just remembered that vandalism stuff.
Why do peoplke like 8man, who is basically Reddit incarnate?
>good child soldier
Take a step... I don't really know where, but just take it and land where I am, because I have no idea where you are right now and I don't really care.
>I don't like him so i'll just associate him with reddit
There's 2 definitions of antisocial which are both used. One is a sociopath (>>101914529), the other is like what you said
Because he is so anti-social, yet cool. Just like them. Plebs can eat shit.
>not proving the existence and worth of humanity by showing the nihilistic and absurdist side of life, values and overall morality by being friends with everyone
Johan is the epitome of the power of friendship gone wrong but with a funny fashion.
More like /r9k/ than reddit imo.
Sorry did I hurt your feelings? We should be internet friends. :^)
I am completely empathetic to Shinji. I can understand Shinji, and empathize with him. But I don't symphatize him. I was strong enough to rise out of the depression, and learn to deal with the depression around me. He, however, can't do it, almost as if he likes to be depressed as an excuse to "run away." I don't feel sorry for Shinji, I pity him. . I pity him because of his weakness and inability to act on his knowledge, or to even gain any new knowledge. The thing is, Shinji's childhood wasn't completely horrible, and although terrible, I've known people who have lived through far worse childhoods, and have come out as better people than me, with none of Shinji's problems. He needs to get that once he's done killing the angels and the crisis is averted, he could live a normal life. It's a goal, something to work towards, but Shinji doesn't think that. He thinks that people use him and throw him away, but the only person who did that was Gendo.I pity him, but it also sickens me because of how pathetic he was.He changes on the outside, and his self confidence goes up marginally, but emotionally and psychologically, he's completely the same. I'm not saying he doesn't change, but he doesn't learn how to build upon that change and keep it going. In fact, he refuses to do so. And even at the very end, he needed the entire combined experiences of the world to even get on the path to change. This is what, at least I think, makes him so unrealistic. No one can be that pathetic.
sociopath is a person antisocial tendencies and also lacking in social moral responsibility
>comparing kurosawa to tomoko
How is he asocial, anti-social or anything that is not fabulous?
What the fucking fact? Do you people now call people anti-social just to make yourself feel better and alike them? Really?
Pretty sure OP meant asocial. So, pic related.
>tomoko being so low
>lower than Shinji
Come on man.
>reddit is antisocial and thinks its cool
>8man is antisocial and is not a sperg
>8man is reddit
Okay yes nice opinions good thanks
It was a VA joke.
he has the guts to shoot guns. he can't be a cool character.
assburgers and stuff
That reminds me, I found about that like a couple of months ago and I was shocked. Now I am reliving it again.
wow that is even lamer. kill yourself
Yes, it was kind of stupid, but come on.
How can you not read both Kurosawa and Watamote and see that they start basicilly with the same self-pity chapters.
Really getting sick of the hipster-mentality and /v/oogeymans.
Guess what shitheads, /v/ probably likes Kurosawa and people that know Watamote have a chance to know Kurosawa too. It's often recommended when they look for similar things.
what is he then?
a "standard" anime character?
>How can you not read both Kurosawa and Watamote and see that they start basicilly with the same self-pity chapters.
You were fine until this part.
>Rest of the post.
Who talked about /v/? You're being paranoid.
So much wrong in one post.
Does she counts?
Everything about her and her show is terrible, so no.
justification for thinking watamote is shit is often connected to /v/ on here.
don't deny it
kaiji isn't anti-social, he is just a loser
You mean at the very end of the show in an alternate reality.
it goes hand in hand.
>friends only make you a weaker person
No, you fucking retard.
Wait, is that the detective who stays at home and solves crime? Completely forgot about that shit show.
>Friends only make you a more vulnerable person
What are you even saying?
He most certainly is asocial. He's a near-mute who avoids social situations most of the time. Most of the show's plot stems from his unwillingness to sit down and talk, not even to his few friends.
I started laughing at shit I saw yesterday because of your picture.
Just "loser" is too blank for a tag of a character.
But that never happened you idiot.
Shinji's hedgehog dilemma is a part of what drove him and the show in the first place. Any chance of him of completely achieving that was all slowly decreased when everything became tumbling down.
who is bottom left?
shut the fuck up you fucking faggot, jesus christ Shinji's dilemma was overblown out of proportion. no one told him to be a little bitch
I take it you haven't even watched the show then.
"Strongest Man Kurosawa"
Who is this?
Newest Anon Google-sama
that's not what anti-social means, American.
The quickest example of actual anti-social was the red haired girl in the robotscoped Evil Flowers who from last year.
Anti-social is against social so people who can't function by the rules of society. People who are dysfunctional losers are just that, fucked up losers.
And autism is pointing this out when it's obvious what he meant and it's already been pointed out multiple times.
I wanna be like Kurosawa when I become middle aged and die a worthy death.
Is Kurosawa really that good? Should I start reading it like right now?
Asking such questions means it's probable not for you.
Tomoko is the bottom of the fucking barrel, she isn't cute, She isn't hot, she isn't funny, she isn't even nice. Tomoko is just a fucking delusional bitch who wants to be a normalfag, but blames others for her own incompetence. the only reason /a/ likes her at all, is because she reminds /a/ of themselves.
She is both simple and realistic enough to the viewers, that's what makes her okayish. As a character she has no depth or anything to her at all.
And saying she is a bad character, because she isn't cute or hot, it just shows what a big faggot you are and that you probable only watch anime because of moe girls or big tits. And while you call people on being edgy or pseudo lonely, you are the fucking same deep down.
No, I am saying that she is literally an awful person with absolutely ZERO redeeming qualities, she even blamed others for not hitting her own growth at one point.
Correct me if I am wrong, but most people, including the fans, agree with that. Which a big plus, when compared to example 8man, which people praise as a God for no reason. I guess maybe that because she is female it actually helps them to see her true nature.
Why is Kaiji so moe?
