Don't see one in the catalog so Hamatora thread?
Horriblesubs should be up around now.
Waiting for more glorious Moral shenanigans.
That's the only reason why I'm still here.
I was beginning to think /a/ forgot about Hamatora.
Weekly picture from that one twitter account, assbabies edition
Birthday won't die, will he? ;_;
Deathflags everywhere babe, it's pretty much confirmed.
The airing in Japan for Hamatora and Wooser today and next week are delayed 10 minutes because Olympics so CR simulcasts for them are delayed 10 minutes as well, so I wonder HS ripper missed them.
That drawing scares me even more. I don't want the comic relief FukuJun character to die, damnit.
I just checked Hs and they said that they knew about the Olympics.
My favorite two shows this season right there
I didn't see anyhting on nyaa but it's up subbed on a shitty stream site
Waiting for subs is suffering.
Fuck the Olympics
The Olympics have killed subs. We're gonna have to find a way to stop them.
>I don't want the comic relief FukuJun character to die
Isn't this an automatic anti-death-flag?
We're up on HS
Nyaa not yet.
>pretty much confirmed
Thank goodness. That means he's alive for another week.
[HorribleSubs] Hamatora - 06 [720p].mkv
[HorribleSubs] Hamatora - 06 [480p].mkv
Even curling is less gay than this show
>[HorribleSubs] Hamatora - 06 [720p].mkv
720p is already on tokyotosho. Nyaa not yet.
>Hamatora's preorder numbers
Let's do this motherfuckers
It's up on Nyaa now
Ha ha! Time for detective work.
where is it?
>pretty much confirmed
># 2,222 / # 2,257 ★ (215 pt) Hamatora [Blu-ray]
Huh, I never thought the spoilers in the ED regarding a brother would turn out be about Art, I thought it was Gasket
That's...wow that's bad
Dat English in the beginning!
>mfw even Pupa was above it last I checked
Impossible. No one on this planet wants to own Pupa.
The other preorder numbers. It's suffering to like the detective/mystery genre.
What years is it in hamatora, 2014?
What in the everloving fuck
I thought Pre-orders we're doing badly all around, or am I mistaken?
Everyone is saving their wallets for spring. But Hamatora is still doing fecal sadly.
Birthday confirmed for incurable illness trying to live life to the fullest.
I wonder if Nips run out of money since there are about 40 new series every season now as opposed to about only 20 new series on the last few years.
Birthday living another week.
I think with this his death flags have been averted
So what was up with their faces this week? They looked all fat and just bad.
They are saving up money so they can have a big finale.
That's my theory.
Last weeks was also Ratio & Birthday wasn't it? At least they look nice.
No, they've been completely solidified. Nigga's deader than dead.
And my hope
whats the twitter?
Fortunately otaku are usually not NEETs.
And they are a major buying power in Japan, despite being a tiny minority.
But yes, of course the depression will catch up with them sooner or later. It's just that so far their no-life-outside-anime business means that they can concentrate their money that are actually important.
What? Nah, now he'll somehow manage to survive and make it all very touching
I wonder what his trigger is.
Check the official Hamatora twitter. It should be the first tweet.
Was there any particular reason why electricity + punch worked on Man of Steel or was it just because it looked cool?
>the whole of Hamatora go visit the grave
I for a second thought all of them visiting it meant we'd see the brother die in the manga, but I don't think the manga happens in 2009
It seems to be waiving his hand?
Found it through other means, thanks
I can't remember the last detective/mystery show that sold well. This season I'm watching Hamatora, Wizard Barristers, and Strange+ (Oh boy).
I can't guarantee that one, but the onsen one will definately get scanned by a fujoshit ot two
That's most likely the reason. I guess you could say that his minimum could only defend one type of attack at the same time but honestly it just looked cool. Also this week's villan was roleplaying DIO or something with all of those MUDAs
Oh hey, they fixed it.
>knows Art is hiding something
>is cool with it
Nice really trusts Art a lot. Good, that will just make it more suffering when Moral as a fake!art stabs him in the back or something
Fixed what. I'm blind.
>the Forbidden minimum Holder
is that Nice? is Nice meeting Moral next episode?
Oh ha ha that they did. Also chapter 2 was recently translated hell yeah.
Nice episode, we got to know more about this two and how Art have a dead brother that seems to be related with Moral.
Now the only question is if this was really him or if Moral was turning into other people again.
I knew it he was innocent, I trusted in you old guy.
isn't the dead scientist the one here >>101917747
because that makes it clear that was moral
I think the laugh gave it away that he was Moral disguised.
Surely obvious its Moral.
The Ratio/Birthday flash back was pretty nice.
Hopefully the rest of the show is about Moral vs Hamatora now.
Love these two
>Electric punch combo
>Nice flying on an anchor
That was pretty cool.
I actually get excited for Tuesdays since Hamatora is one of the 3 shows I'm excited for every week. Those preorder numbers...
The villains in this show sure love to take their shirts off.
Not that I have a problem with that, I'd rather see 3 shirtless, though,
So it was Moral disguising himself as not-Valkenhayn; the old guy's still a good guy?
I think Nice being the kind of guy he is will see right through it, he can read Art by just looking at him.
oh shit new episode?
PuPiPo! is a good show.
Yeah, we can also guess the eye theory was right too.
But he was barely in it.
Why is he so sexual?
I really loved that scene
Popularity doesn't equal quality.
It's a joke about this episode.
Well lets be honest the show have a really low production value so it isn't worth it to buy it if it isn't a pack with the full series in discount.
He just is
Why are his glasses upside down?
Shorts can be good too!
PuPiPo is honestly great.
Most shorts are pretty good.
Does this show have nice art
Oh shit, did they get a real English VA?
Probably, we could check the credits for his name.
He was pretty good, sounded like a cartoon VA.
Too little content. I can't bother caring. 5 mins, if that much at all, per week for a total of 1 or 2 full episodes at max. No matter how good it is, it just bothers me to no way. As a person that loves stories, I love them having at least some length when they are good. Thanks to anime being shit most of the time, at least I can watch 30 12 episode series per season, which is fine.
This entire scene was great, loved the music.
If he's Michael Rivas, I'm gonna lose it. In a good way.
>It sleeps here
You almost got it japan
He is indeed a gaijin.
You shouldn't judge a show before you try it.
I am not judging the show, I am judging the length of the content in the case. No matter how good it is, it's just to much to bother. If anything I will watch something and get frustrated or something good and get frustrated it's too god damn short.
>I can't bother caring.
>No matter how good it is
>Thanks to anime being shit most of the time
So you are one of those, yeah don't even bother.
Neat. Seems he's primarily a musician.
My thoughts exactly.
I just looked that up too. Kind of weird.
>Even if it's a great show I'll still hate it
Anyways back to hamatora
Does ham-hams appear this episode
He doesn't sound anything like he did in the episode.
His AKB48 cover is cute.
Are we playing a telephone game here and I am the only one not realizing that?
Oh those were the colors the kidnapped girl was talking about, didn't paid attention at the time.
Look at him living his dream! Good job, Nelson.
She expresses her emotions by saying colors.
Another zoom in
Birthday being super serious
Koneko best girl
Yeah but just for a moment, most of the episode was about the doctor and orange.
He playing the bad cop was hilarious, I couldn't take him seriously.
Lucky bastard he got a roll in a animu.
>Another zoom in
That's got to stop. It's never not looked retarded.
I think Touhou music spoiled me.
Eh, it's alright.
I like em.
This has lots of good boys, but I need more more hajimebutt too
BIRTHDAY IS KILL
Aw, this was cute.
He's going to die for real and it's all going to be Ratio's fault.
those 3 girls NEEDS an episode of their own doing plot stuff
And it'll be on his birthday.
Did anyone else laugh about the whole sales meaning it good thing?
Why is he so lazy?
Back to work, fatass.
They're really poking fun of just about everything, scandals and idols last week and shit selling well this week.
I laughed even more at the "moe is worthless, true art doesn't sell but at least it means something" underlying message.
Why is Birthday so best boy?
The parents group episode one still got me the most. This show can do some funny shit.
Because everyone loves a birthday boy.
.... wait, the manager was in the hangar... why did he let Birthday bite the cables?
I don't think he knew they were Minimum holders or if he did, what their powers were. he went to them because of what the kidnapped girl had said
He's gonna pull a big dramatic HOOK LINE AND SINKER moment later on
Finally could watch it. Excellent episode as always, and now we can truly call this Homotora for a good reason. Ratio and Birthday a best.
Who voiced the Dio wannabe anyways?
So the jab this week was directed at trashy bishoujo media and the sales = quality mentality. I love their social commentary.
Hajime is Moral.
ANYTHING BUT THAT
So was the stabbity-stab police guy just Moral in disguise?
What's the source to this anyway? I assume it has one, since everything I saw with "Name: The Animation" was based on something. However, I either didn't see a single spoiler posted, ever, or I just didn't notice.
and It started in the Weekly shonen jump in Nov 2013, so I assume its hardly translated and there isn't much content to actually spoiler
That's what was implied with this episode. This is an anime original, the manga is a spin off.
It isn't based on anything. the manga and anime are a joint project, though the manga started last year and is a prequel. It's really incosistent though, it doesnt even have triggers
There's a chapter translated, it takes place before the anime and Nice and Murasaki didn't know each other yet.
>There's a chapter translated
We now have the second chapter translated
Thanks for the heads up.
>Only stuff from birthday and Three
Did noone else bring gifts or does noone els eknow about the brother.
Also, brother died in 2009, and in the manga nice just met birthday for the first time and in the anime he didn't even know Honey's minimum, how the hell do three and birthday know about Art's brother then?
So many deathflags.
Depending on how he died they may have all been involved when it happened.
>I will never let you die
He's gonna let him die. On accident, maybe. But it's going to be a result of his actions.
And Moral hasn't used that to fuck with him yet?
Even Moral has morals.
I expect he will. Who knows, maybe his brother had a Minimum and when he died Moral ran off with his brain.
>the Forbidden minimum Holder
I think Nice is the Sonic Minimum so no, that isn't him.
Well K-On is the best after all
What if Nice is not the real 1st in the Academy, but that was Moral with Nice's face?
I'd buy the BDs
I think Moral is Art brother and the one who died was someone else.
I thought this too but it can't be. Moral was a professor at the place, and Art's brother was younger than him.
To add, here's what's most likely him in a flashback.
>Ratio's face in the last frame
That's the first thing I thought about that scene.
What if his brother killed Moral and took his place? Then he disquised the original Moral's body as his and faked his own death.
I think you might be onto something. Would explain why he can read Art like an open book.
>directed by M Night Shyamalan
It's always possible that Moral was the one that killed him and is using his brain to give all of these people powers. Or his brother asked Moral to use him to find a way to give Art powers.
Damn, all these possibilities. Gotta admit that having two albinos in the same show is kinda suspicious.
He kinda' reminded me of Brock from the English dub Pokemans.
He and Nice really don't feel like partners, Nice is always running around on his own or hanging out with Art.
...You seriously think the "mysteries"/plot here is good? I mean there was an episode all about a teacher who was using his powers to turn his sketches based off of message board posts where bullies get together to brag about bullying into photos. Because apparently that’s how you climb the ladder from teacher to rich person. I don’t think “different culture” covers this one. And then they wrecked his memorial because him being dead isn't vengeance enough.
Writing is some of the most flimsy I've seen. No wonder it's lopping when it's so incompetent.
Shapeshifting, huh? Guess the teeth, long hair, and creepy homo vibe aren't the only things Moral got from this guy.
Even they think Art needs a vacation judging by their faces.
The teacher got off on others suffering, it was like a fetish.
Yes, its different how close Art and Nice are while Nice and Murasaki, the actual partners, are barely friends
>...You seriously think the "mysteries"/plot here is good?
Yup, a few shows have its merits and charm but there is a line I draw when it gets absolutely ridiculous. Do you want me to blindly follow Titan/Madoka/SAO/etc or something?
Good episode. I always look forward to watch Hamatora.
If Moral can change his appearance I hope nothing happens to Art and Honey since it seems Moral is working close to them.
Holy shit, UN-GO. One of the most underrated anime in the last years.
They know /a/
HIS EYES ARE JUDGING ME
>that slight smile
>ED starts playing as they prepare finishing blow
I love it. Looking forward to next week's episode.
Indeed that was a nice touch
Every single episode is ridiculous. There is no good writing to be found here, and Un-Go, while better, suffered from a lot problems. Mouryou no Hako is one of the few good mystery anime.
>batshit insane villain
>he's a shapeshifter
This can't go well.
Has anyone figured out what the hell is up with their names
Moral and that guy from TTGL look the same.
I thought it had to do with the Facultas; like it's names given there. but some of the graduates had normal names so i'm not sure
What a cutie.
The episode's budget went to anmating the shoutas in the flashback apparently. 10/10 usage
Did I misshear, or is the english guy Sean Schemmel? Pretty random if so
Read the thread, he's some random white guy who's a musician in Japan.
Nice SHAFT head-tilt you got going there Moral
His only purpose is for Seiji Kishi to express just how much he wants to be Shibo.
Please no. This should have cleared him, r-right?
Shota flashbacks are always the best
Coolest character of the season, after Da Vinci.
I knew as soon as I saw those fucking gold arms that Ratio was going to be the best.
>Sugita and Nakamura in charge of not being absolutely based
They got a real gaijin to do it
He's so perfect. But I like the others a lot as well.
i was really tired watching this and thought
its finally happened, i've watched so much anime i can understand what they're saying.
Nice to see a more serious side to Birthday; comic relief characters often only work if they have something, anything to help ground them. His attempts to cheer up Ratio, even if in kinda fucked up ways, humanize him instead of just being crazy-go-random.
Much better episode after last week's disappointing outing, hope it stays on this track.
Once I downloaded a show and the first scenes had some gaijin VAs talking, and I freaked out thinking I somehow downloaded a dub version
>It sleeps here
Maybe it's just engrish.
It is probably their name. Not really any stranger than Three or Moral.
>the manga he was reading
That's a nice touch. I have to wonder what was up with his death, he would have only been 12 when he died.
>giving a kid the name "It"
when's Hajime going to get to do stuff that's actually important to the plot?
it's pissing me off all she does is eat and not helping out the guys
>those 3 girls NEEDS an episode of their own doing plot stuff
no wonder this series is tanking
>"moe is worthless, true art doesn't sell but at least it means something"
and yet there a few cute girls in this series
I like those *thump* sounds her tail made last episode.
>This week's episode bashes cute girl manga/anime
That explains the amount of fujobait in this show
It's Psycho Pass all over again, but without Urobutcher.
And they even have some moe girls too.
Rather than criticizing cute girls in anime/manga, it seemed like it took a jab at the whole "only good things are the ones that sell".
And the thing that was selling as high level art for some reason was oversexualized anime girls.
True. But rather than looking at it as just anime/manga girls, the same thing could be said about a lot of other things.
Yeah, sure, no one denies that, but they were very blunt about their personal problem.
They've been doing that for the past few weeks already. I don't know about everyone else, but I find it pretty funny that they've been taking hits at some of the things that go on in popular media.
Something just came to mind, might a reason for Ratio to wear the eye patch be to not constantly see Birthday's death sign?
Did you consider the far more likely possibility that he doesn't want to be overwhelmed by visual feedback from dozens of bodies at once?
>this series is bad becasue it hasnt focused on the girsl
>We are conveniently gonna forget that the past two episode has had honey and hajime as main parts of them
But last week it bashed Fujos and Otakus
She did something in the hotspring episode
I think even if they did focus on the girls more the social commentary would offend the types that would watch primarily for them.
Pretty much. So far it;s called out Fujoshi,Otakus and soccer moms. It just irks me when people say they haven't focused on them when we have had two episodes back to back with them on the spotlight
There's also been some guy that complains that Buddy Complex doesn't have more girls to look at. It's like they've never watched shounen action shows before
Isnt one of the main characters the GIRL that brought him back. Doesnt Aoba talk with the girls in the ship every episode? DId we not see them in bikinis last ep? He's probably just trolling at that point
I don't get the complaints, Hajime will get more focus eventually and Honey is working with the police. They just won't get the spotlight much which is normal given their roles in the story, this is more of an ensemble cast with Nice as the main.
The part that is a bit odd is that Nice hangs with Art more than Murasaki who is supposed to be his partner, it feels like they really only have a work relationship and even then Nice bails. Sucks for Murasaki.
>It sleeps here
The motherfucker is immortal.
I want a Hajime.
We all do
I lost my shit at the English
Had to check whether I'd somehow ended up with a dual audio release. Then I remembered, this isn't Space Dandy, what the fuck.
Im about to watch it. I Hope this ep is good
It's a pretty good ep.
Makes my dick diamonds
Koneko getting a piece of those Honeys. Don't blame her.
Hajime's Hajimes are nice too.
She's got some nice, meaty thighs. I'd love to have those hams pressed against my face
Please have her move more.
That was a good episode. The pacing was a little fast but it was great anyway
I cant wait till this guys story is revealed
It was a jab at anime fans who think high sales and popularity = quality
Robot arms is best hamatora
I'm still hopping this face makes it in the anime
I want to lick her legs
>Fujoshis have the full ED
I'm disappointed in you /a/nons where's the link to it?
The also got a German for the trustworthy politician in episode 4.
This show calls out at least one group per episode.
That's great, I like it when they bother to do that.
Well played, motherfucker
And they didn't fall into casting Tetsuya Kakihara like everyone else does. I love his voice, but it's nice to see someone try something different.
What's the point of this mascot? It's in every episode and doesn't fit with rest of the art at all.
It would make a great save point for the game.
So is old man always moral? Did moral kill the old man or was he just posing as him temporarily?
I bet he was posing.
The manager seems to have the same opinion as some anons.
Maybe. He maybe really has the same opinion as some newfags. Can't be helped.
Whats the story of his golden arm?
Gotta say, I love the sense of humor in Hamatora threads.
Midas? And Nice already looked like Yoga too.
>So far it;s called out Fujoshi,Otakus and soccer moms.
When? Spa episode wasn't calling out fujoshi.
The German was a bit awkward though, he basically said:
Everybody who trusts me.
Thank you for trusting in me.
My policies are based on mutual trust.
My citizens, in order to win trust, -
you have to build trust every day step by step.
I think (trust...) [and then the sniper meets the rear end of his rifle.]
His pronunciation was OK though.
Yeah, there was an absolute trust overload.
He'll be fine. Ratio won't let him die.
Why are both the OP and ED so good?
I think his death flags were averted
