So, definitely one of my favorites. It kept me on the edge of my seat and gave me many feels. I related greatly to the whole being-in-love-with-a-psycho-girlfriend thing.
Agree? How so?
Disagree? Tell me how much of an idiot I am.
PS: Kuusou Mesologie is a fantastic song.
I bet yuno is wild in the sack. Totally into it
let me start off by saying that yandere is worst dere
second off mirai nikki is a horrible piss fetish video masquerading as an anime. also how did it keep you on the edge of your seat? It literally told you exactly what was going to happen before it did. and that yuno twist about her being from another universe was obvious from the begining seeing as the first scene is of yuno chopping yuno up with an axe.
basically you have shit taste in anime and women.
I WAS RAPED MY WHOLE LIFE BY FIVE THOUSAND DICKS AND NOW I'M GOING TO RAPE YOUR GIRLFRIEND WITH THE SAME FIVE THOUSAND DICKS AND YOU'RE GOING TO WATCH
/a/ in general doesn't like it because they're whiny faggots, but I liked it a lot. Definitely in my top 5.
The Mirai Nikki anime was fucking awful. I still cannot believe i managed to watch it all.
>doesnt have lolo
>doesnt have gay moe shit
>no tsundere best grill race
Nikki is best girl.
I liked it too, but top 5? Really? Go watch more anime you dolts, MN is full of plot holes and ass pulls
She was probably forced to bathe in semen too.
>I WUB MIRAI NIKKI
>I have no idea what a yandere is
>PLS TELL ME I'M RIGHT
It's top 5 because I enjoyed the plot a lot the first time around, it wasn't even one of the first like 10 anime I watched or anything so it isn't the nostalgia either. I just liked it. I liked the plot no matter what people have to say about it, and I liked the character designs and romance aspect.
As for watching more anime, I am, it'll still remain in my top 5 because I have like 250+ and 20-30 more to watch by the end of next season.
This right here is probably the reason most of /a/ hates it anyways. Sure, it's an asspull, but it wouldn't have ended happily otherwise, and /a/ just wants their anime to be sad and miserable like them.
I learned that after people hating the last chapter of AnH
Enjoyable ride, however the ending was a trainwreck.
Fair amount of edge, but I didn't mind it that much.
>Sure, it's an asspull, but it wouldn't have ended happily otherwise
Why did it need to end happily?
Both Yukikeru and Yuno were awful human beings who killed everyone who came in their way. Including their friends.
fuck I meant yukiteru or YUKKIIIIII
Because it's an anime? It wouldn't have been half as good of an ending if Yuno just forgot everything about Yuki, and the 3rd world versions of them just lived out the rest of their lives, with the second Yuki just floating in time forever. They killed people because they were forced too, and even grew to love each-other deeply throughout.
fair amount of edge?
dude they blow up a school and kill a literal busload of orphans
That wasn't edgy, that was funny.
I think there's a line between "Being edgy" and actually doing some fucked up shit.
It was an interesting idea but the plot wasn't well done at all. Still it would have been decent if it wasn't for that god-awful time travel ending.
But you're right that the OP song is one of the best I've heard.
>It wouldn't have been half as good of an ending if Yuno just forgot everything about Yuki, and the 3rd world versions of them just lived out the rest of their lives, with the second Yuki just floating in time forever.
The author should have thought it through before writing himself into a corner.
>They killed people because they were forced too
Pretty sure they weren't forced kill all the orphans and the friends who only tried to snap Yuki out from his delusion. It wouldn't even bother me that much if it weren't for the fact that Yuki himself wasn't bothered by it. He thought he could bring them back, sure, but after he found out he couldn't he was just like "eh, whatever, time to have sex with my stalker". He's a complete cunt. Fuck him.
I just finished marathoning it and it started to feel very Higurashi-esque in the last few episodes.
That's not a bad thing, I have a huge boner for time travel plots.
I also really liked MuruMuru, her segments were hilarious. I thought her usurping Deus was sort of weird but I'll just assume they had to rush the ending and maybe the manga elaborates a little further.
I don't know, maybe I just love it for the story it is instead of the story it could have been.
Besides, the whole point was that he was absolutely convinced that he could reset the world, and that if he couldn't it wasn't worth it to spare people.
it was so edgy it was funny
I'll agree with that.
Can anyone explain one small detail to me?
The phone that Yuno is using at the end, does it belong to the 2nd World Yuno? It was describing Yukki's situation as if she weren't the direct cause, and Yuno is getting upset because "those aren't my feelings"-- so she was seeing messages from 2nd Yuno's perspective, right?
I liked the manga but I stalled on the anime.
were they going over the top with edge in a serious way or not?
like they blow up a school and have scroll-chan raped for years and all that, was it supposed to get me to think that edgy bullshit was necessary evil or dumb bullshit?
YANDERE IS BEST DERE
I must admit edgy DEEP shit is my guilty pleasure and Mirai Nikki was defiantly one of those, it is the epitome of an edgy anime.
The story is really inconsistent ,the plot holes are too much and the characters felt really unnatural and kinda robotic switching suddenly from evil to good. The main problem here is that it tries to be serious and it's relying too much on the drama, darkness and twists.
Personally the thing that kept me watching was speculations about the ending, and the thing I hated most was the whole teen love thing that is put like the most important thing in the whole world, Elfen Lied which suffered from the same flaws in my opinion pulled it better than this.
Anyway I think it can be an enjoyable trainwreck, Yuno is a good yandere, but it's nothing special and at some points it can be rather bad like really bad.
>were they going over the top with edge in a serious way or not?
Yeah sometimes it was too edgy and trying to take itself seriously.
Shit was unnecessary as fuck, but the author had no real idea how to create drama in his manga.
>yuno smashed through the wall of plot with a hammer!
There are plenty of beta faggots on this very board who would probably do the same shit under that much insanity and pressure.
Think about the duress all these teens were under, it's really no shock that he starts gunning down cops and shit without even batting an eye.
By the time Hinata is screaming at him to abandon Yuno, he's so far gone he probably can't even hear her anymore. At that point her and the others look like obstacles, not people.
That's what insanity does to you man. Dude became God and then sat alone in a bubble of grief for 10,000 years.
I liked it, it has some good qualities but it was as shit as sword art online. Especially that ending what the fuck.
Yuno is fucking scary and evil she really didnt deserve the happy ending
First time seen someone post like that. People often pass this show as "edgy" but if they were Yuki IRL with some bitch tying them up for weeks at a time, and murdering people you know, they would literally shit their pants.
>but it was as shit as sword art online?
So it's not worth giving it a try?
I've watched both, going in with a bias against SAO, I still liked SAO enough, but in my opinion Mirai Nikki way better.
Id say watch it and judge for yourself . When I compared it to sword art online I meant that it was decent in some places and fucking terrible in others. Sword art online terrible aspects made it unbearable to watch. Mirai Nikki is bearable, I enjoyed it but I couldn't let some things go.
DoucheBag Chocolat a best
Evil is a matter of perspective. I'll give you scary, because if you're anyone but the person she loves, you're just a potential target.
Loved the anime and the manga, and the OVA was especially mindless fun.
Felt pretty bad for her, don't know that her being "fixed" in the new world really makes up for it.
Not even once.
>Oh hey this anime looks pretty good
>Snowballs downhill faster than a fatty on a mountain with a hotdog stand at the bottom
It reminded me of Ergo Proxy, it had potential but did nothing with it
>implying Minene isn't best girl
>Kills her parents
>Murders god knows how many innocent people
>Tricks her first boyfriend in committing suicide
>Manipulates her second boyfriend into killing his school mates and his friends then giving his life for her
>"Becuase given the chance you would do the same thing to me"
>Other evil shit she did to herself and others around her
Fuck you shes evil an twisted little psycho shit and she scares the crap out of me
Everything afterwards was a total asspull but her look in this scene froze the blood in my veins. It would have made the show perfect but we had to have a happy ending which really didnt make any sense. It felt freezing the anime all of a sudden.
To be fair, most serial killers were abused as children. It made sense if you just think of it that way. Yuno was abused hardcore, Yuki was the only light in her dark world, and she was given a chance to get rid of the obstacles in her way.
I'd post the BD boobies but mods have been nazi strict lately about posting anything remotely sexual even under spoilers.
she's forced to murder other people in a game, she didn't want to play, she found happiness staying with yuki but guess what? the game can only have one winner, her only option to stay with her beloved one was to repeat the game and kill those people all over again like it meant nothing to her (probably it wasn't that easy on the first game). reminds me of homura, who lost her feelings by seeing her friends dying all over again in other timelines. yuno did nothing wrong.
>Yuki was the only light
No he wasn't he was just some loser who happen to grab her attention at the school when she was reflecting on her future, she even said so. It can be anybody, she will obsess over anyone. Its only a matter of time until her true nature shows its murderous face.
I have no idea why anyone would want to waifu this monster really wow
Not really. He was the first one to be nice to her and share a connection with her, that's why it became him permanently. It could have been anybody before, but after Yuki it couldn't have been anybody else. I mean, one of the whole points was that 2nd world Yuno was actually first world Yuno
She literally went to another universe just for Yuki,
Saw the anime and I'm reading the manga now. Yukiteru would have died so many times if it wasn't for Yuno. After all it's a survival game, all the diary holders have to do everything it takes to win.
Plus the series would have been really boring without Yuno.
>not giving yourself up to the one and true based Goddess
What's wrong with MuruMuru-sensei?
God, I just read on wiki that part, which I had forgotten.
This is much less fun than in my doujins.
Was Not-Kaworu supposed to be like that, or was it coincidental? Because it literally was Kaworu, in every fucking way right down to being gay for the MC.
Canon gang-rape is 100% less fun than doujin gang-rape 100% of the time.
>full of plot holes
>full of asspulls
Yeah, it was shit. I liked watching Yuno (yandere best dere) and the ending wasn't terrible, but overall it was probably one of the worst shows I've ever seen.
I still don't regret watching it, though
Everything about The Ball, goddamn. And Yuno's time jump means she had experience all of it two whole times.
All the scenes where this played were fantastic.
This is angsty preteen-stuff like Deathnote, Code Geass, SAO and GC.
>not watching this entire thing at the end of each episode
lol it was priceless when she decapitated him.
Seriously? It was really pretty animation-wise, there were a couple Quality scenes here and there but who gives a shit, I laughed at them.
Mostly because in the doujins, they usually end up liking it or you forget about the character pretty fast. Not the case when it's canon, generally.
Actually, is there any manga that's not H (or not supposed to be that primarily) with a character that ends up enjoying being raped / gang-banged?
I was actually a little disturbed when she just blindly sliced a loli's head off.
I do. Completely wasted my time.
If there's anything I hate more it's things that have potential but purposefully fuck itself over.
It still baffles me how something as simple as ''Battle Royale with magic cell phones'' with some characters having decently interesting background and character trait be turned into complete pointless shit in the long run.
Show X means business
Yuno kills X
Rince and repeat until Yuno kills the world itself.
The entire show was just a self praise towards Yuno which was nice at the start but just becomes tedious as fuck.
It might have been good if Yuki grew some balls a bit earlier in. Almost as painful to watch as Evangelion just due to how much of a pussy MC was.
oh man yuno's dress in that part was so yes it distracted me from all the other dumb bullshit
I always found it funny how the guy just turned out of fucking nowhere into a badass during the final round and then does nothing at the end and still goes all emo about not being with Yuno.
Bipolar as fuck during that part, couldn't take it seriously and it was clear the author didn't know what character growth is.
I agree. That fucking "woah me" attitude got old quick. You have a chance to become God with your bestest waifu and you're sitting there sulking about.
If only the anime design wouldn't be so ugly.
The manga has far better art.
If you watch it knowing that she's 1st Yuno, it makes sense for her to be more aware, since she's beaten the game already and knows all their powers in advance, hence why she always seems so calm in the first half. Toward the end she really starts to lose her marbles though, killing cops and slicing up orphans, going full berserker really.
She really looked good in that black dress. Its probably the only reason why Yuno has so many fans.
It seemed like Yuno was "propping him" emotionally, they were pretty much completely into each other at that point so it gave him a big confidence boost.
I think the reality of all that shit he did really didn't sink in until afterward. He was keeping a list of all those people to "bring them back to life" when he became God, and Yuno just "conveniently" let him believe it would work.
In the end it was all Yuno, she was behind everything Yukki did during that episode.
That's bullshit on a lot of levels.
The first guy made sense, the cult leader and sentai guy doesn't since she should have fucking killed that bitch rather than let Yuki near him and just simply stab the right Sentai guy rather than do such a fucking elaborite trick to find the real one and kill him.
Then she should have known about the guy who controls dog (still no fucking explanation on how the fuck his powers gave him the ability to control dogs in any possible way) and the love duo sort of makes sense but it doesn't show Yuno able to pull off something due to past experience.
Honestly, the only time her experience comes into play in when she needs to open that door to kill the guy. Nowhere else does it matter.
It's a complete fucking bull of crap.
There are plotholes, but you can at least tell the author was sort of trying to drop hints she'd done this stuff before.
As for Twelfth, even if she'd seen that attack before, she still had to check which one was blind. (Because Justice is Blind, get it, etc).
As for the dogs, well, every show is gonna have a dud antagonist at some point. I kind of laughed that the girl with the big tits got a "Breeder's Diary" though.
Oh, not to mention that fucking kid. Way to let him into your home and possibly kill everyone when you already know he's a player. Nope, just let him play around and fool around with him, what could happen?
There was no hint at all that Yuno looped except for some key scenes that were irrelevant overall.
Yeah but the author could have simply made it into a battle royale with cheese. No use doing a backflip with shit on it just to be special.
Yuno knew, but she had no way of dealing with it because Yuki and his mom couldn't catch her killing someone. It would fuck up everything. She settled for averting all of Rei's attempts and waited for an opportunity to take Rei out. It was stupid but had she dealt with it too quickly (no way for her to know the kid is evil in Yuki's eyes) it would have given away the time loop and her murderous nature all at once.
Anything that jeopardized Yukki's trust or respect for her was a big no-no. If her mom disapproved of Yuno she was ready to torture her into approving behind his back.
I'd like to see the first worlds battle, where Yuki was actually a fairly effective combatant.
Yeah at one point she even considers killing her.
I liked it. /a/ generally complains about it because hind sight is 20/20 and none of them actually saw the twists coming, they just claim that they did afterwards. Happens with tons of shows every season.
Good show, a bit of a slow start but definitely worth sticking with. OVA improves upon the ending a bit.
Dat dress. Dem boots.
>This is angsty preteen-stuff like Deathnote, Code Geass, SAO and GC.
>I DON'T LIKE THEM, SO THEY'RE ALL FOR PRETEENS LOL
I liked Mirai Nikki over all.
Are there any more yandere animes/mangas worth looking at?
Mirai Nikki is in my top 3, I don't even care what other people might think of that. And I have watched plenty other anime.
I liked the anime designs much better
I'm sorry for your loss anon.
Maybe when you turn 17 you will change your mind.
Irregular reminder that Yukitero killed an armed serial killer, kissed Yuno and grabbed her ass, ran through a minefield, stabbed ninth and saved hundreds of classmates, got himself invited into Yuno's house on their first date, saved Yuno from getting raped, killed sixth, saved Yuno from getting electrocuted, Saved Yuno from getting injected with poison, pulled down a girl's skirt in front of the whole class then made her a love interest/friend, organized his friends to fend off an attack of killer dogs, acted as a diversion to save them again, manipulated his girlfriend into doing as she was told, shot a cop, shot 4th and saved Yuno again, escaped his bindings and pimpslapped Yuno, styled all over 11th multiple times especially in the manga, and then started popping orphans and more cops and ramming people off overpasses.
i'm 19 and mirai nikki is also on my top 3, a good anime doesn't need good art/deep plot, if it gets me hooked, it's a good anime, and mirai nikki did the job pretty well
Is she even registering whats happening around her?
She looks like shes somewhere else. Somewhere very far away
About sums Mirai Nikki up.
Minene is the only good thing that came out of Mirai Nikki. She is my waifu.
Did someone say best girl?
>You will never have flying babies with her
and yuno is my waifu
remember that time that she blew up a school?
shit was jokes
Ah, yes, Mirai Nikki, the only show where the 3rd world is the happy, prosperous one.
If people on this board have proved one thing, it's that they're more than willing to waifu monsters.
It was good but the ending was shit.
We need more yandere anime tho.
The MC is also Shinji
I read the manga before watching the Anime.
Don't do it. It fucking killed it for me.
Jesus Christ someone on /a/ understands this.
/a/ has this thing where it expects people who have been through traumatic situations to behave like they weren't.
One of my favorite anime. Like most things /a/ over thinks it so a lot of it's appeal is lost with most people here.
If I had to guess, it's a joke about how 3rd world countries suck, and how Mirai Nikki ends with glimpses of a new world, the 'third' or so we're told
The show probably has the most drawn corpses in the history of anime.
Would you join the cult /a/?
Author is shit for killing the best character early on
The nigga was floating in a bubble for a ten thousand fucking years.
You got to move on at some point.
I don't want to sound edgy, but I don't think it really needed to end happily. It could've just left on a bitter sweet note.
Mah nigga. 12 was fuckin' awesome character to just have around. If it were up to me, he would have become a reoccurring comic relief character who would maybe help out the protag once in a while by accident and sacrifice himself near the end "for justice."
Shit got me pissed.
You introduced such a cool and crazy character like that only to kill him off early?
>he would have become a reoccurring comic relief character who would maybe help out the protag once in a while by accident and sacrifice himself near the end "for justice."
This is exactly what I wanted but no.
Author decides to kill him off early on with Yuno
Yeah the both deserved to die. I cant believe he shot all of his friends knowing he couldnt bring them back. They really deserve each other.
I just thought she didn't completely know all 12 players cause some should've taken some out beforehand in the first world.
I am not a clever man
What was the deal with that Seigi no Mikata Diary Owner anyways? Did he make the cultists rape that semi-blind girl by hypnotizing them? Why did he even save Minene?
first ED was way better
it basically got me hyped enough to get through the first boring episodes
1st OP > 2nd OP
1st ED > 2nd ED
