>Just finished SnW Ep 12
>One final special episode left
>Don't want to watch it because I don't want it to end
God damn it this was a beautiful show. The art and animation were great too.
>mfw this show makes me want to enlist in the military as a musician
I'll learn to play something like Kanata did I guess. we have conscription where I live, I leave in a few months.
Don't forget the glorious OST as well, One of the best shows it's near perfection.
All the characters just everything is amazing, Truly one of the greats.
Just watch it and relish every stream /a/ has
It's god tier stuff
Rio was my favourite Woto but she doesn't seem to get enough love among the fanbase.
Oh yeah the OST was glorious as well.
Hell everything about the show was damn good. Blew my mind really, considering I wasn't expecting much I admit.
I do this sometimes. In fact there are at least 3/4 shows I've watched except for the last few episodes because I don't want it to end
All five were great but Rio was pretty great. Helps that Yuu Kobayashi voices her.
meant to type really great
Those were the days
Meh is a other moeshit animu,
Allow me to give you something to read when you finished the last episode.
>Parents have a house in Spain that's three hours from Cuenca.
I wonder if I should pay a visit sometime?
>no hot air balloon ova
Maybe she gets more attention since she's whoring herself in WUG.
Who are you quoting faggit?
>God damn it this was a beautiful show
No, you just have shittaste.
>The art and animation were great too.
And full of QUALITY.
Thanks for these. Some interesting trivia I see there.
And here's the last one. Enjoy OP.
You're pretty shallow if you couldn't derive the countless details in SnW and instead only saw what was on top: cute girls doing cute things.
Thanks for your input.
The premise was too stupid even for an animu.
>Yay I want to learn music
>Only lessons in the army
>Then I will enroll tee hee~
There is a fucking war already dumb bitch.
What's your favorite anime?
It was good but...I didn't come away feeling that moved by it.
Might have had something to do with the really odd atmosphere. There was always like this ring of darkness that was just out of sight of the otherwise-cheerful central plot but you always knew was there. Felt unsettling.
You had to see it wit /a/, speculah made it 10 times better
To this day, the hiking episode is the most accurate depiction of military training I've seen in anime.
Hell, watching this show is worth it just to hear the ED.
>sort of want to make one of the verses my ringtone
>not sure if want to show powerlevel that hard
If episode 7 didn't give you a desperation fetish man...
All anime must conform.
Don't you feel more at home now?
That's what made me like it.
It showed the happy-go-lucky life of a bunch of girls that are in danger.
You'll never partake in a drunken orgy with the Wotos.
And finally came the day when faggots confess shamelessly they like shitty anime.
Life certainly is suffering and all suffering has it's roots in desire.
I said Death Note but I'm not the same anon
But the original never responded or corrected so I'll assume it was all just shitty bait to begin with
Tank-kun best character
Use their amazing grace instead
anonnypoo could you link me this shirt or the original image used to do the mockup? I'd rock that shit.
Only have a low quality version I fear.
Maybe I can get my sister to screen print one for me or something.
You're welcome. I find that I missed some details/implications here and there, these pictures make up for that. Some stuff is actually pretty sad, man.
I want one of these.
Agreed. I think about it every time I'm humping my ruck somewhere far. When I remember the look on Kanata's face, and Noel saying she's 'broken', I get the goofiest fucking grin, because everyone around me including myself usually has that look.
>the look on Kanata's face
That owl does a great Asian impression
One of my favorite shows even after this long. Wish we could get more
Best part for best girl
I'd let Noel be my lovely wife.
>watch sora no woto
>expect loli guro and war
>get keion 2.0
/a/ has such shit taste in anime
>expecting loli guro and war
Its like you didn't even watch it
>liking loli guro and war
Quel monstre est incapable d'aimer Noel ?
Didn't know Kureha could be so sexy.
>kureha's first period.gif
Last week or something some anon asked for 3d tank-kun for print, have we any news on that?
How can you be tsundere about a chair?!
And why would you tackle someone holding plates?
Name your favourite song from the OST
I was the one who asked; I'm still working on my printer after finding some issues over the weekend. The electronics overheat for jobs over 20 minutes or so, so I haven't been able to print out any tank-kun parts.
I want to spank that butt.
Just out of interest, what's your guys favorite episode?
I'd probably have to go with 7.5, because it's what I wanted out of the show the most.
I really have to pick one?
I did play around with scaling the missile pods since everyone seemed to agree they seemed too thin.
well, you have to remember that it can be a thing of perspective from the 3d renderer, any chance you can get some frontal/side isometric shots?
if it wouldn't be bothersome, that is
Always nice to see a SnW thread.
Only roughly; this program is meant for blocking out a print job on the print bed. I can't put the pieces together, just have them hovering behind it.
Scaled pod width 1.2x.
I can see that the "connecting part" which will hold the pods to the body is also affected, so you'll want to watch out for that
Yeah I know. Tank-kun is going to take a lot of work.
You know, maybe one day when I have enough resources, knowledge and spare time I'll try to make one using microcontrollers and servomotors and stuff of the kind. Maybe...
Keep up the good work
do it for her
Is Kanata the cutest? I think so
Trivia: My grandfather actually did that. I'm not saying it's a good or a bad idea, I'm saying it's a surprisingly realistic premise.
and apparently, music in their world has been severely damaged, since according to canon "you don't even see brass instruments outside of the army nowadays"
Episode 13 is the best; it's what truly feels like an ending. Sure, /k/ and such like 12 because it had the tank porn, but that whole scene was a bit heavy-handed and cheesy. Kanata and Rio's conversation about the end of the world was way more powerful, in my opinion.
to be honest, 13 ended best with the slice of life and epilogue part, the flame maidens, and the "together forever" part; if we are talking about philosophic end of the world deal I would have to think about the whole experience together with the cherry on top that was episode 7.
Seven was great, but something about 13 really struck me. Partly because it actually was the end, but also because of the way it was presented. After all of the sappy, inspirational stuff, Rio just casually mentioning that the world is slowly ending, and there's nothing anyone can do about it, and everyone is too busy fighting over petty shit anyway, all while just chilling in some ruins on a nice sunny day, was a great juxtaposition. Rather than in-your-face despair (not that that was a bad thing, mind you), the feeling of subtle-but-inescapable despair seemed like a good way to end the series.
Considering that the subtle-but-inescapable was sort of the great big underlying main theme of the whole series; together with the big contrasts of happy quiet life on an oasis in the middle of a wasteland; moe in the army, etc; yes, it was a very needed end. Episode 12 finished the plot, episode 13 finished the series. Speaking of finishing the series, about that visual novel?
It has to be episode two. Watching it and seeing the speculah chart was mindblowing.
I really wish I saw the ghosts on my own.
>Ma si jolie femme
>"A lovely wife"
>not "My lovely wife"
It's canon, Noelfags. You're waifu is married witrh Aisha.
I don't mind sharing her with the finest example of a 14/88 german-american
>Episode 12 finished the plot, episode 13 finished the series
Well said, Anon
Stop. This makes me sad.
We really need Season 2
There won't be, Anon. But that's not a bad thing. A S2 would set what happens in stone. Right now, everything is our future.
Mono no Aware, you say?
You know, I share the same feeling
I like SnW way too much to even slightly risk an eletric boogaloo
I would rather treasure this little piece of heaven we have found.
I have taken a glimpse on the manga adaptation, and after spotting a slight difference with the show canon, I am seriously worried about reading it or not, part of me wants more; the other part worries about these conflicts.
Anyone who has already read the manga (or what's already out of it), how is it?
this anon isnt a huge moeblob fan but SnW made me cry like a bitch
Oh neat, you're trying to print out those tank-kun parts I put together from the sketchup model. Just so you're aware, I broke it up into smaller parts like that so that if the printer started messing up a part you wouldn't have to reprint the entire model again, just whatever part you were working on at the time, and finally gluing all the parts together with the exception of the movable leg joints. Also, the parts might print better if you laid them with the flat side down.
I miss 2010.
Le Pont de Pierre, I love it.
Why is she so perfect /a/? Why can't she be real? ;_;
>episode 13 finished the series
thanks for reminding me about 2nd season never ;_;
Why didn't you buy the Blu-rays?
Why didn't you buy at least the Nozomi release?
Why did Koto cancel the Kanata fig?
