You have just summoned Gilgamesh. How do you proceed?
Clearly I must first establish the Yuetsu club
Force him to go out with me and be my wingman/bodyguard
Go out and pick up bitches with him.
Purchase two motorbikes, give the better one to him, and tell him we're starting a motorcycle gang. Proceed to conquer the roads of North America.
Use a Command Spell to force him to commit suicide because Gil is a useless Servant.
Can I summon him as something other than Archer? I don't like Independent Action.
Do whatever I can so that he doesn't turn on me.
You would need 2 and he'd probably manage to mince you to bits before you utter the second one.
Gil's magic resistance isn't anything special, I doubt more than one would be necessary.
Why do you samefag so much, OP?
Was Mag Res the only factor? I remember some shit about Will and some resistance if the order was against the nature of the servant.
I die because he finds me unworthy
Ask him how he became so stylin' and profilin'.
I don't know that Nasu's ever made any official comment on what exactly goes into resisting Command Spells. I just assume that magic resistance is the biggest factor since they're basically just highly concentrated mana. Saber's got A magic resistance, so she can resist them up to a point, but Cu's C rank wasn't enough to keep from killing himself. Gil's is C at best (under Tokiomi), so I can't imagine he'd fare much better.
What are you going to do with all those roads, anon.
Die because my magic circuits can't handle him
Are the rankings linear? Saber resisted one for a day+ - we should be able to postulate what a C would allow.
I think he also qualifies for Saber, Lancer, and Berserker
Gil had an amulet that protects him from magecraft and Tokiomi didn't even think 3 command spells were enough to force him to commit suicide.
What about Rider with the Vimana?
>less vanity, more brutallity
>Tokiomi didn't even think 3 command spells were enough to force him to commit suicide.
Read the novel, secondary.
Says the person posting his head canon.
Make him wear this.
Because you didn't read the novel, it must be head canon?
Because Gilfags like yourself love pulling shit out of their ass?
Tokiomi's worrying about his Command Spells only starts when he has to use the first one on something pointless, and all he's upset about is that it leaves him with just one more to spare (since he has to save one to kill Gil). He doesn't worry at all that one (much less three) might not be enough to compel him.
Let us not generalize.
Use all the command seals on a date with Gil.
The whole thing with Risei awarding command spells for killing Caster was because Tokiomi wasn't sure that 2 were enough to kill Gil.
I've read the LN and nothing of the sort is said. Post the passage or shut up.
Except Nasu says Magic Resistance rank is critical when determining the ability to resist a Command Spell.
>Magic Resistance: A
>Altria boasts the highest rank of resistance to magic amongst the Servants. She is capable of completely neutralising grand sorceries involving magic arrays and instant contracts. Even modern magi of the highest level cannot wound her directly with sorcery. Altria is able to resist an action force onto her powered by one stroke of the Command Spell. Such is the extraordinary rank of Altria’s Magic Resistance, sufficient to shake the very foundation of the Servant System.
Nasu says Saber is the only servant capable of resisting a Command Spell for so long thanks to her A Rank Magic Resistance which is why she is stated to be the only Servant capable of "shaking the Servant System"
People interpret it as that, but nowhere in the LN does Tokiomi ever say or imply that is why he wants the extra Command Spell.
>People interpret it as that
More like one Gilfag interprets it as that.
Seeing as this is a Fate/ thread and for the lack of a Akame ga Kill thread up right now, going to post a question here.
What class would Esdese from Akame ga Kill be summoned as?
sage for off-topic shit
Caren was never explicitly stated to be Kotomine's daughter until TM Fest 2012 so it wasn't true prior to that either? There's something called reading between the lines anon.
Where does he say she's the only Servant capable of doing it? I'm pretty sure they've been bucked in CCC before.
There's also something called "making shit up".
Rider. And her mount would be my cock
I would guess she applies for Berseker and Caster. She's most know for her sadism and ice spells.
>Using CCC as an example when it isn't even the Fuyuki Grail
No, that´s making up shit because you are delusional.
There are no lines to read between here.
>To a Servant with the skill of Independent Action, who doesn't rely on the Master, the only way to give him orders are the Command Seals. This grants the right for only three absolute orders. To make a Servant out of Gilgamesh who doesn't have an ounce of respect for his Master, they are all the more precious.
>Always maintain your elegance— this is a family precept handed down for generations for the Tōsaka family. To him who keeps it to his heart, to be pressed into using a Command Seal before all the other Masters...
Tokiomi is only worried about being able to give as many absolute orders to Gil as he can in general. He never wonders if it might take multiple spells to force him to kill himself or do anything else.
>Implying which grail has anything to do with fundamental rules of magic resistance.
Gilfags are always delusional.
The reason Tokiomi wanted extra command seals was because Gil was so headstrong, he might have needed to force him to follow other commands before ordering him to commit suicide, just as when he ordered him to pull back when confronting Berserker.
Maybe I'm retarded but why would Tokimoi need to force Gil to commit suicide? Obviously he wants to reach the root but does he think that Gil will try and kill him once the other Servants are dead or something?
Ride them, of course. He'll be King of Heroes, I'll be King of Roads, we'll recruit Saber as a fangirl, she'll be King of Kings, it'll be a great time.
Your shitflinging is even more obnoxious.
Because all the Servants need to be dead to reach the Root.
Giru Giru Mashin
>but why would Tokimoi need to force Gil to commit suicide
Why do newfags like you keep posting in these threads when you post the most retarded questions ever?
Why don't you just google or wikia that shit?
We'll drink wine and do whatever Gil wants to do
I really don't think I have much say
Not all, only 7.
The heat from your asspain is delicious, Gilfag.
Go back to coming up with more head canon.
I cant explain it, but I read OP as "how do you procreate?"
>Queen arthur is only speshul snowflake who can resist, and gets special treatment
As expected of typemoon
I thought only six needed to be dead and the seventh was needed to interact with the grail.
Read HF or Fate/Zero.
Reaching the Root and making a wish to the Grail aren´t the same thing.
If you kill all the other Servants and then use yours to interact with the Grail, you get your wish.
If you kill all the Servants, including yours, and do some magus shit, you get to the Root.
You need 6 to get the hole to open up which more or less let's you do just about anything with all of the mana you'd get access to short of true magic, however you need all seven dead to activate the Einzbern mystic code and perform heaven's feel.
Basically read the damn VN.
Oh, right. I'm stupid.
>we should be able to postulate what a C would allow.
We don't need to "postulate" jack fucking shit. Cu Cuchulain has C Magic Resistance and loathes his master. It made absolute fuck-all difference when Kotomine told him to kill himself, he cracked instantly.
And that is the singular thing that matters. Command Seals don't give a flying fuck about the Servant's personality, they just flat-out hijack the body's functions, which is why Servants forced to do something can still scream bloody murder while they do so. They're not mind-controlled into shit, their bodies just obey the commands.
Arturia's magical resistance is absurd because she has the blood of a creature that literally breathes magic energy. That's why one of her bodily functions is essentially using Reinforcement on herself instantly at will. And that in its entirety only allows to postpone, not even reject, just postpone a single order for close to 24 hours provided she focuses every inch of her power on it leaving her completely helpless to so much as move.
>I-I was just fooling around... Y-You can leave whenever you want... S-Sorry... Y-You too...
He'd then kill you for being a spineless worm.
Unless you have EX charisma, the best course of action would actually be this. Gil's a fucking finicky bastard.
Order him to kill himself and just hope he doesn't use one of the nukes he keeps in GoB to do it.
>Magical Energy: E
>Noble Phantasm: E
>Abilities: Masturbation EX
That only works on Lancer. And even then it only works half the time.
>implying you even have a NP
Rank E means having an ability at 10 times that of a normal human.
I'm pretty sure I'm luckier than Lancer.
When summoned as a servant you get put into a class. So I'm assuming this guy has the bare minimum stats to exist, sorta like Avenger who was also a normal dude.
>believing Nasu's nonsense.
That always seemed rather strange to me. Shirou shouldn't even be able to block a blow from Lancer if Servants are at least an order of magnitude stronger than Servants.
You need to qualify for a class by meeting the minimum stat requirements.
>if Servants are at least an order of magnitude stronger than humans
Is what I probably meant
Normal human in terms of a human at peak condition, or just the global average or something?
Did you miss what his projections do? And in his first couple of fights Lancer was just playing with Shirou.
Let him take the reigns, support him as best I can, only use command spells when absolutely necessary, and make sure I don't run out of expensive ass wine. I don't know how the fuck to win the grail war. I'll just let him do the work and pray to god he doesn't dick me over.
Average human, I think. That explains why Shirou could put up a fight against Archer. Mages have to be in really really good shape, so he probably had rank E strength.
With my first command seal, I compel you to give me the keys to your flying space ship
With my second command seal, I order you to never fight or leave immaterial form
I then take his space ship and fly to America until the war blows over.
That depends, can Gil rape everyone in the town and still have energy left?
>Mages have to be in really really good shape
>so he probably had rank E strength
What the fuck. Shirou was just an extremely fit young guy. Stop spouting baseless assumptions
Archer had D strength at peak capacity but less than a tenth of his strength remained when he fought Shirou. And he would have still won the battle if he hadn't given up the fight after being impressed by Shirou's conviction.
Rider didn't need to die in HF because the grail was already partially filled with servants from the previous war. So yes, there is a difference.
Cu has B rank magic resistance if I recall, however Tokiomi directly stated that Gil might very well resist a command which is what he feared. If he was just a by the book guy then he'd think "There's no way a servant could resist a command", but he was afraid in this case of that happening since he was planning to have Gil suicide.
Gilgamesh is a mysterious servant, guy is confirmed to have command seals in his vault.
Caster in F/Z had E strength and he can still crush human skulls with one hand. Can a strong man do that?
Command him to give me his arms
Fate Stay Night is a special situation but yeah, I suppose you've got me there.
Usually 7 servants is the all that you have access to.
>guy is confirmed to have command seals in his vault
No need to enable autist mode honey.
>guy is confirmed to have command seals in his vault
His route in CCC, he makes MC waste all three command seals upon meeting him to even gaze upon him and shit. Then at the end of the story he gives MC three command seals again since he needs them to make it across the Moon as a fare, and MC is like "You're giving them back?", but GIl is "Fool, the commands you used are already spent, these are new ones from my treasury".
Paraphrasing as hell, so read the entire segment here
CCC IS NOT CANON
CCC IS NOT CANON
CCC IS NOT CANON
CCC IS NOT CANON
CCC IS NOT CANON
B-but if you lose your three Command Spells you get kicked out of the Grail War and you Servants loses his mana supply
>Didn't read materials
>Must be pulling shit out of his ass
What doesn't the guy have in there?
>“That answer must be rewarded.
>Though they are but dull trifles, take them.”
>These are―――Command Spells?!
>My Command Spells have all come back......!
>Once used, Command Spells do not return.
>Those are new."
>"You, who do you think I am?
>Of course I would have stock of a Command Spell or two.”
>B-but how’s that for a Servant?!
>If there’s a Servant who could replenish his Master’s Command Spells,
>the entire premise of the Holy Grail War....
>…....No, I see.
>It’s because he was such a Heroic Spirit that he had sealed himself in this space.
EX rank Independent Action, Gilgamesh only had a contract with MC in name. Really he was just biding time there and playing around a bit out of boredom.
>implying CCC is canon
The Grail, duh.
MC didn't even summon Gilgamesh, he just happened to run into him among the malignant data of the Mooncell that Mooncell deemed to have little use or to be too dangerous.
You recall incorrectly.
No, you just have no way of controlling your Servant so they can do whatever they want.
CCC Gil is different than F/SN Gil.
CCC Gil doesn't even have a class because Moon Cell is different from the Fuyuki Grail.
At least try not to be a retard, Gilfag, and you use CCC arguments in a thread about the Grail ritual in Fuyuki.
Yeah, didn't check before making the post, but upon rechecking it was C rank. I guess I was thinking of Archer having B rank Mana in regards to Medusa being able to petrify him in contrast to not being able to do much to Arthuria in a different conversation. Though it will still lower Saber's stats a bit, and it was noted Archer kind of fucked up there and petrified more than he needed to since he was at such close range when she unveiled them and he basically failed his roll that turn. Considering the guy was freezing faster than either Shirou or Rin in the same moment despite B rank supposedly being able to hold out a bit longer than that optimally.
Doesn´t Independent Action just gives you aproximately a week before you dissapear?
Or is the CCC Gilgamesh the same as F/SN Gilgamesh and he also got materialized, thus obtaining Independent Action Rank A+?
>B-but if you lose your three Command Spells you get kicked out of the Grail War and you Servants loses his mana supply
Actually no, not at all. Sakura used all of her command seals in HF, and Waver used all of his seals in Zero, it's not an issue if you can trust your servant.
>if I recall, however Tokiomi directly stated that Gil might very well resist a command which is what he feared.
>however Tokiomi directly stated that Gil might very well resist a command which is what he feared
Have you got a source for that? Because the closest thing I've found in F/Z to that is what >>101875949 posted, and Tokiomi doesn't say a word about Gil possibly resisting Command Spells there.
>Gilgamesh is a mysterious servant, guy is confirmed to have command seals in his vault.
And this second sentence of yours doesn't even connect to your first sentence.
Now, why don't you hurry and post the exact passage of Tokiomi stating Gil can resist command spells.
There is no source. People keep asking for source yet Gilfags never provide jack shit because it is all in their fucking head canon.
Says the guy pulling shit out of his ass with claims of Tokiomi directly stating that Gil can resist command spells.
Maybe you need to check more because not only did you mess up Cu's magic resistance ranking but you also post fake bullshit about Tokiomi saying aloud that Gil can resist command seals.
Some people get the facts about CCC plain wrong, but don't confuse that for not being able to use it at all in any Fate discussion because "Doesn't apply, ever". Frankly it does apply, since even if Gilgamesh is not a class (Arguable since I've heard in one segment Karna says Gil is basically like him and just not using his class name properly) his vault will still remain the same, the content in his vault will remain no matter what class he happens to be which is the danger of him. Although it's a different sort of ideal if he can be summoned as a class without his vault. It can't just be brushed off with "Different grail war, different rules" since Nasu says the servants themselves are the same, like Archer.
He's actually far closer to his original self than in FSN, and rather than being incarnated or summoned he was basically just sitting in the trash heap where the masters got thrown to and ended up making a contract with MC out of a small interest. It's a different situation entirely than you might think, so he's just a small exert.
>Though the Moon Cell had reconstructed and manifested him as a Servant, unable to control him, it sealed him in the Far Side of the Moon.
>As Gilgamesh himself hadn’t seen much point in the Holy Grail War, he made himself a bedchamber in the darkness (malevolent information), and dozed to dreams of degeneration.
>Although he’d been lazily savoring his splendid isolation of aiding none and needing none, since he found the ramblings of the fool (the protagonist) who fell into Hell kind of amusing,
>he woke and stuck his nose into the protagonist’s affairs for a little bit, thus setting off the chain of events for his route.
>Because he’d been napping in Hell for a near infinite amount of time, both his mind and body have completely rusted.
>Just when you think he finally won’t be so cocksure of himself this time around, it turns out that that’s his default status to begin with. ←new!
what if Gilgamesh(Archer), Karna(Lancer), Semiramis(Ass/Cas), St. George(Rider), Jeanne(Ruler), Hercules(Berserker), Gawain(Saber) and Gilles(Caster) are present in the same war, who would win?
I've heard Ruler class tends to have an unfair advantage there
Considering if they were actually picking sides then they can command other servants, and they automatically know shit about the competitors.
>Saber will never shove food down your throat with showing no remorse while you gag on it.
You wot m8
It's the class introduced in Apocrypha that's supposed to play supervisor for the war, but they aren't officially part of the contest in terms of having to fight them. They just try to rule out any cheating or make sure magic isn't revealed to the public. People are corruptible, but heroic servants tend to be a bit more on the up and up which is the purpose of not using another Kotomine here. Instead of summoning Ruler for the Fuyuki war they instead elected to summon Avenger, but classes aren't that hard to make up since they are nothing more than a mold for heroes to be summoned into.
I remember what /a/ used to do to typemoon faggotry but five fucking threads on the front page? There's a fucking reason you were contained during the split.
