what does /a/ think of this masterpiece?
its a masterpiece.
It dragged on a little but otherwise was quite the bizarre ride through childhood friendship, old memories, cults, and friendship. When it started to get a little too -sci-fi with the prophecy and his nephew being some psychic goddess was a little offputting but otherwise I want to see a proper anime adaptation of this similar to the way they did monster i.e. 1:1 leaving out nothing, but adding to the atmosphere with a decent OST and VAs.
It turned to shit around the third timeskip
Good, but it dragged a bit
Pluto>Billy Bat=Monster>21th Century boys>
better than monster
Best ending ever.
The Monster people actually want to make full-blown anime adaptation of Pluto.
It's shit, story is convoluted, characters are easily forgettable and have unhumanistic traits, the only good thing that came out of it was Friendjesus.
I agree but 20th Century Boys is still my favorite.
Really? I haven't started BB yet. I guess I should.
But I want 20th (and 21st) century boys ;_;
That shitty live action movie probably killed what chance we might have had.
dragged on too long
too many red herrings
the 2 thirds of the manga with the girl all grown up were unneeded.
BUT great suspense in some scenes, great writing, memorable final scene that makes the dragged on parts worth it.
8/10 nothing cult worthy but i liked it.
