I found this anime cruising around on Youtube. Unfortunately, the guy who uploaded it only uploaded half of Episodes #9-13.
Anyone know somewhere it could be downloaded from? Torrent would take forever, and I doubt anyone would be seeding a relatively obscure series. Besides, the company that made it went under, so it's not like it's possible to get it legally.
What's wrong with YouTube? You start off getting linked to a video from a message board thread talking about supernovas, and you find an awesome anime series.
1. Youtube is faggotry when it comes to anime
2. Stellvia is NOT an "awesome anime series"
3. Just get a torrent, faggot.
You would be surprised to see just what kind of obscure anime torrents are still seeded extremely well even now.
You just have to look in the right places (durr durr)
If it's not ever mentioned on /a/, that means it's good.
in this case, no.
fail logic is fail
Stellvia > GL
What the fuck, GTFO /a/.
The fact that you cannot find Stellvia on the internet sickens me.
Youtube quality is pathetic, but I can understand why some people would resort to that.
The batch torrent at boxtorrent is still pretty well seeded. Should take long if you get good connections. Other alternative is IRC if you are willing to dig around.
And it still is very possible to get is legally. I actually bought the whole thing on clearance for 4 dollars a disc. Though most places still sell it at normal animu street prices.
And Stellvia was pretty popular on /a/ back in the day. It has it's vices (specifically the shitty second half with all the emo shit going), but /a/ssholes liked in in general. I guess you people never heard of the "SHIPON IS HONGRY" meme are seen the various shipon banners 4chan has.
>Besides, the company that made it went under, so it's not like it's possible to get it legally.
and it was a great show. Very pissed at the lack of a second season

Blame Xebec exploding. A second season was in the works, but was pulled due to lack of funding.
Wasn't fafner released during that period?
Fafner's moderate, but not fantastic, success arguably helped drive nails into Stellvia's animated coffin. Xebec technically still exists, but it's nothing more than an offshoot of Production IG now and much of the active staff has changed.
i thought the biggest issue was the director split? hopefully stuff will all get patched up eventually
Not that he left Xebec (that happened later) but in addition to funding issues there were supposedly conflicts between him and the producer concerning the series.
WHERE IS MY MOTHERFUCKING SEQUEL?!
wasn't there going to be some like super hot robot loli in the next season?
Stellvia should have ended at 13. While good, the BAWWWWW of the arc and Shippon turning from tolerable, semi-likable SUPER HAX GENIUS to crazy raging jealous bitch and Kouta turning out to have godvision sucked the interesting developments out of it.
well, if any series will cause him and xebec to patch things up it would be nadescio 2, if that does well we could see stellvia 2.
how much of the writes does the director own anyway, can't the IP be taken to a new studio?
How can it have been popular on /a/ when it aired before 4chuns started
Heh. Maybe Studio Gainax ought to buy the rights.
After all, Arisa does echo a fair few of Kamina's best lines.
Fansubs were still coming out at the time, IIRC. Same case with Scrapped princess. There were no speed subs back in the day. Even shit like anime junkies were slow.
