Anyone still watching Nobunaga the Fool?
I dropped it
thanks for asking
For those not keeping count, Oda Sr died last episode. And this episode both Himiko and...
When will the blonde bitch stop whining?
I think i'm going to drop it too.
I've downloaded episode 6 but I don't even want to watch it.
the little brother bit the dust
nope, she's still fucking useless
I want to get off Kawamori's Wild Ride.
Then do it. Everyone already did episodes ago.
Is Himiko really kill?
I am watching it with Commie.
I usually don't care for short, flat characters but her outfit is sexy as fuck.
>Himiko sees something in her fortune-telling orb
>She gets a look of quiet sadness (rather than a "oh no, I gotta warn Nobu!)"
>Himiko throws a dress at Jeanne, "this is my parting gift"
SHE KNEW SHE WAS GOING TO DIE! GOD DAMMIT, CONFIRMED FOR KILL!
>Himiko throws a dress at Jeanne, "this is my parting gift"
Wasn't that before the other two events?
I dropped it too. I can't stand Nobunaga.
I planned to drop it 5 episodes ago, but I gave it a chance. I ended up dropping it anyway, it was terrible have fun with 24 episodes OP[/spolier]
>reading last thread
>learn that thanks to the feminists, the French government banned the word "mademoiselle"
What the fuck
Wait what? Source?
Best girl dies 2 episodes after being introduced, sasuga Kawamori.
But Mitsuhide killing Nobutaka and the scene leading up to it was probably the first half decent scene in the show.
France confirmed to be the next Sweden. How fucking sad.
Himiko best waifu.
Mitsuhide did nothing wrong.
I fucking hate Nobunaga. I don't understand why is everyone falling over his cock.
How can you hate Nobunaga? He's the only good character on the show. Dude is like a raging inferno.
FUCK YOU WRITERS
He's so dreamy. When he's screaming into the air under the waterfall with his shirt off, oh god. How could anyone hate him.
Mitsuhide is now best girl ;_;
Y-YOU JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND HIS TRUE INTENTIONS!
>not seeing this coming miles away
Holy fuck, that makes me so mad.
This show is only getting more perfect each week.
It would've been perfect if they bait and switched us with Jeanne dying and Himiko being the true heroine.
Himiko is annoying. At least Jeanne gets tired of Nobunaga's shit.
>Himiko and Nobukatsu die
Why does /a/ hate Za Fooru?
It was as Kawamori as Kimi no Rage was too Seo.
Last few weeks everyone seemed to be dropping it because of Jeanne.
Look at what she has wrought.
The ride starts here.
Hell no. That shit rubbed me the wrong way at ep 1.
Nope in fact Zessica pretty much got killed off in this ep.
How terrible is it?
Should I watch it for the so bad it is good qualifier?
I'd normally welcome shit getting real, but they killed characters I had little to no reason to care about, considering how little they had been developed.
I liked it until the end of this episode. Fuck Kawamori.
You guys seems upset
Nobu's gonna go insane isn't he? He's had 3 people close to him die in a couple of days?
dropped it after episode 2 because the character design and mech design looked really stupid.
nah, I'm watching the other Nobunaga
I wonder if he'll turn into the Demon Lord like popular fiction.
But Himiko is nothing like Zessica
Alright, will try it.
aka The Best Nobunaga.
That show is seriously awesome.
This. Fool a shit.
What's with Japan boner over Nobunaga when he died like a bitch?
Why not focus over people who got shit done, like Hideyoshi or Tokugawa?
>lusting for Jack the ripper dick
Shit Nobunaga. Would not follow/10
Took me a while to get into but 6 was so fucking good.
>dat The Thing setting with side-characters as the MC
Hime a perfect.
Goudi a cute
But last episode of Nobunagun was filler shit, Nobunaga the Fool is actually steadily moving the plot forward
Hideyoshi and Tokugawa both took over what Nobunaga won. A lot of Japanese people hate Tokugawa in particular and do not think he deserved winning the land.
Besides being the most well known conqueror of Sengoku era, he made innovation to war (Warships, rifles, terrain), reformed a lot of laws and the economy, and introduced the importance of foreigners in a world trending towards imperialism to Japan when everyone else was masturbating to their isolationist "Japan superiority, white piggu go home" policy.
Take out Nobunaga and you take out a huge part of what makes Sengoku great.
inb4 the main antagonist is Cao Cao
Well if Himiko is actually dead next week then I won't be watching it anymore. She was the only reason to watch this shit
Conquerors are much more interesting than statesmen. The great peacetime reformers always take a backseat to the furious path of a ruthless wartime leader.
She lives SHE LIVES
LALALA, CAN'T HEAR YOU, SHE LIVES
Not ganna lie, I think MC is a faggot. MItsu or Saru would have made better MCs.
But Hideyoshi and Tokugawa were the ones who ended what Nobunaga had started.
Tokugawa marking what, in many ways, made Japan what currently is.
For some reason I think the East will be limited to Japan.
Cao Cao would rape Nobunaga any day, as would plenty of other Chinese overlords of old.
I guess this is true.
I don't mind when characters are killed off, but Nobunaga better show his good side off pretty soon, because at this point he just seems like Nobunaga the total jerkwad. That being said, I will probably keep watching anyway.
I actually enjoy the show very much, but something makes me avoid disscusing it.
I'm going to stick around for one or two more episodes at most.
At least this week Jeanne got sick of da Vinci's card shit.
Bullet straight through the heart.
>For some reason I think the East will be limited to Japan.
Sad, they could at least have included China and Mongolia. Even India would have been pretty cool.
>Shot through the heart
>And you are to blame
Don't you mean
NAPOLEON CAO CAO KHAN
>You couldn't protect that smile
>You will never see that smile again
>killing the best girl
Please stop it.
I DON'T BELIEVE IT.
I didn't see the pineapple reference anywhere, so I'm sure that only one of them is alive.
This and No-Rin only anime this season that have had the honor of me dropping them.
Hell, I'm still watching Magical Warfare.
You can use that argument for Hideyoshi who finished Nobunaga's work, but not for Tokugawa. Tokugawa basically spent most of his career jerking off warlords and siding with whoever was more convenient for him. He relied on Nobunaga and Hideyoshi a lot when expanding his domain, and lost a ton of battles. His coming to power was basically jerking off the right people and rebelling when Hideyoshi died.
Hideyoshi always gets love to the point that people even ignore his terrible Korea/China invasion attempts. Tokugawa not so much because he's basically Trunicht.
I suppose they may not want to ruse fans from other nations, by having the Japanese overlord beat their famous overlords.
Will this be the Valvrave of the Winter season?
Really? It seems to me that the elevens like to ruse both Korea and China whenever they can.
I predict this will be more like LoL Heroes and have a small but dedicated following.
They hardly do it in anime I think.
It has been long since I've been in Kawamori's wild ride. I hope the end will be as FABULOUS as AKB0048 season 2.
But degrading western overlords is okay?
But AKB was shit.
Fuck it, I'm picking this back up.
That's just like your opinion anon.
Every idol show is shit.
Their relationship with the West isn't as touchy as their relationship with their immediate neighbourhood.
You could say there's Pearl Harbor, but America nuked them twice, so that makes them even.
I really doubt an anime referencing a close neighbor would spark anything but an internal conflict, like with Sakurasou.
>Killing the loli and Shouta in one episode
I hope they aren't surprised when this bombs
It was inevitable!
Why is Kawamori the only man in anime willing to take chances?
Making a mountain out of an ant hill.
They could reference it, but if they are planning on having Nobu conquer the whole planet, then that'd mean he'd have to fight famous overlords that are from other Eastern countries.
That's what I think the staff was trying to avoid.
There's that word again.
I wasn't really serious. Though I do find it strange that Julius Caesar is an underling to King Arthur, who probably didn't even exist. Elevens and their love for fairy tales.
Because he lacks talent. just like how Shyamaladingdong abuses twists to cover his lack of talent.
Or how KyoAni use their excellent animation quality to cover their lack of storytelling skills.
Because Julius Ceaser will betray him at some point. It is inevitable!
Are you retarded?
It's a miracle!
>not understanding the vastness of nobu
>Thinking that they'll kill off the best girl
Valvrave at least had people watching it to react to it.
Are you Nobukatsu is clearly not a shouta.
dropped it. killing off best girl should not be tolerated
Where were you when Kawamori sent Himiko to heaven?
Did you feel like crying, or did you think it was kinda gay?
Last episode was character introduction because the actual characters are introduced later in the series and it would be weird for them to suddenly appear without any background.
Also, half the shit in Nobunagun is filler anyway to prep it up for just 1 cour and not put expectations on more episodes.
all these fags talking shit about this show, i like it look forward too it every week
I clapped like a motherfucker
If she actually dies then dropped. but wtf shes even getting a nendo
Are you idiots seriously thinking she's dead? She even has another regalia, she isn't dying so soon.
I doubt she is.
Don't care too much though.
No, but I seriously think Nobukatsu is dead.
Next episode is himiko's just as keikaku as nobunaga cares for her in bed and takes over oda clan as demon king
Same here anon but come on! We're only at 1/3 of the show.
Yeah, poor kid. I honestly wanted to see how he'd do in the war council, the story is too biased to Nobunaga.
They didn't ban it, dumbass. They just took it away from administrative sheets. Which is normal since for men it was just "homme", no "damoiseau" bs.
>the story is too biased to Nobunaga.
Well the title has his name on it.
>I honestly wanted to see how he'd do in the war council
Mitsu was right though. Nobukatsu would have been perfect as a leader during peacetime, but during wartime he simply wouldn't have worked.
The other warlords were out for conquest, and his idea was just to defend. That would just have been waiting to get destroyed.
>1/3 of the show
It's 24 episodes there bucko. It's 1/4th.
i love this
why do people hate it?
The general reason seems to be because of how everybody talks about Nobunaga being hard to grasp and understand, while he acts like a dick. I'm not too bothered with it though, since I expect it to lead somewhere.
Because it is a Kawamori anime.
After EVOL, all Kawamori anime is to be considered extremely polarizing and love-hate.
>killing the best girl
if she doesn't live through some bullshit lighting regalia shit I'm dropping this shit
Well shit, I knew she was going to lose, but this quickly?
Apparently Nobunaga made 7 on the latest newtype poll.
never again, /a/
Nobunaga was the one whining.
When it was shown that she has another regalia?
that's not true, akb was very good
Originally, she does die.
There's actually Himiko in Sengoku period?
I thought her ruling age was older than that.
>everybody talks about Nobunaga being hard to grasp and understand, while he acts like a dick
This. This is my main grip with this show. Jeanne is fine for a village girl who was ostracized for her whole life and was thrown into a barely-comprehensible world. Saru is fine as far as Saru charactes go. Mitsu, traiterous as he may seem, his train of thought is easy to understand.
Nobunaga? He's just a dick who screams a lot. But, whoever dares to criticise him is called immature, a kid, an idiot or that they simply don't UNDERSTAAAAAAAAAAAAND him.
If he faced consequences for his actions (and I don't mean father's, brother's and wife's deaths, I mean people he cares about directly dissing him off), fine. Like this? He's a dick and that's it. I'd like to believe that this is groundwork for his to get character development, but with the way the show seems to be biased for his favour, I don't see it.
Funny way to type Nobunaga.
>walking in the woods
>see partially naked man screaming
Brought to you by
Only in politics and everything else. They're pretty tame in anime for some reason
holy shit, this show got dark real fast
Mitsuhide a shit! A shit!
Still best written character, though.
Godamn yes. This episode was sad but great, I fucking love Mitsu character as a whole. I'll be pissed if he dies.
Yeah that bit was stupid but I can overlook it.
Adam is actually Florence Nightingale not Jack the Ripper
How many more regalia sluts have to die before Jeanne wins da Foolzbowl?
>I hate having fun
So why did he fuck up his dads funeral again?
because according to historical accuracy hes a fool
The only conceivable reason for them to trust in him so hard must be something that happened in the past. Each time they excuse his behavior my expectations grow concerning this/these past event/events, we'll see if I'll be let down or if this magnitude of asskissing is actually warranted.
Why didn't Mitsu poison Nobukatsu? Killing him like that can give the nobles the chance to suspect of Nobunaga and accuse him of killing the family males to get the power, poisoning him would lead to the conclusion someone tried to kill Nobunaga before and Nobukatsu after with the same method.
Because he's so deep you wouldn't understand.
Also, it was inevitable.
I'm starting to think Mitsu doesn't think things through properly.
He'll think his future betrayal properly.
Agreed with your spoiler.
As the situation is now, Nobunaga probably won't be suspected since he was the target of an attempted murder at the same time. So unless the nobles want to admit that they ordered one of the assassinations, the only logical thing would be to suspect Takeda or some other rival clan for the assassination attempts.
But the question as you say is why Mitsuhide, who is usually cunning, would try this, when it's obvious that Nobunaga would be suspected of the murder if only Nobukatsu was to be assassinated.
Perhaps that's why the shinobi that killed the assassin were sent there by Mitsuhide, because the original plan for was for them to attempt a fake assassination on Nobunaga at the same time as Mitsuhide assassinated Nobukatsu.
>He'll think his future betrayal properly.
According to history he didn't.
History doesn't really know what the real Mitsu was thinking, only a bunch of romantic and compelling speculation.
>why Mitsuhide, who is usually cunning, would try this,
Honor, maybe? Nobukatsu was Nobu's brother after all, I think he needed to do it "by hand" and by himself.
>Perhaps that's why the shinobi that killed the assassin were sent there by Mitsuhide, because the original plan for was for them to attempt a fake assassination on Nobunaga at the same time as Mitsuhide assassinated Nobukatsu.
Actually, those two saw the nobles giving the order to attempt the assassination, I doubt Mitsu was going with that plan. Maybe he was hoping for someone to be killed trying to save Nobu and that is why the ninja girls killed the sniper only when he was trying to reload the riffle.
However, I don't think it was a great plan. The nobles are still not willing to follow a fool, and, if Nobu realizes who killed his brother, this would only lead to more division inside the clan.
He also didn't properly plan what he'd do after killing Nobunaga,
I think he didn't care, as long as he got Nobunaga.
Cared enough to declare himself Shogun.
I do. I like it.
Though MC is a huge asshole. But well, he's entertaining enough.
Oh yeah, I didn't even consider what Nobunaga would think about his best friend murdering his brother. Perhaps this is the start of the conflict that will lead to Mitsuhide's betrayal.
I don't think Mitsuhide planned for someone else to try to take out Nobunaga though, that seems very risky, unless he also planned for Himiko to timely leap in to be his human shield, which seems like a stretch even for a schemer.
Things are looking pretty grim for the Oda clan right now anyway, I wonder if it will be solved gracefully in the show or with some asspull.
>Mitsuhide goes I DID EVERYTHING FOR YOU AND YOU STILL WONT LOVE ME at some point
Maybe the writers aren't bad, they're just focused on fueling fujoshi dreams and keeping Nobunaga on the Newtype top 10.
Dude, he already is insane.
I'm sort of disapointed Jeanne won't leave Nobu.
Nice to see her get tired of his bullshit and drama-queen ways.
But I guess after Himiko's death, she won't have the heart to dump the asshole.
I would have liked for her to join the Kenshin side. Trap x reverse trap is always best.
>see beautiful muscular man weeping
It's indeed a beautiful sight for any normal young sexually frustrated maiden.
>Nice to see her get tired of his bullshit and drama-queen ways.
Indeed, Jeanne and the noble seem the only ones who can't stand his childish behavior.
This bullshit of "the world doesn't understand our poor glorious Nobu" is starting to be annoying. I could understand that if Nobu was someone easily misunderstood, but he is doing nothing to be consider more than a stupid child.
I don't think that top 10 is really relevant. And there are different examples of pairs that went the opposite way from what you said (Kira - Athrun and Lelouch - Suzaku).
Fujoshi probably like Nobu x Mitsu already, without the need of something so explicit.
Just finished the episode, I'm starting to wonder about the usefulness of having those ninjas around as bodyguard, they don't seem to protect shit and only good for recon. But atleast now there won't be a civil war since the brother seem totally dead. Also, apparently the meaning of the Hierophant card are;
>For upright: Symbol of the need to conform to rules or fixed situations.
>For reversal: Indicates that you are feeling restricted or constrained by structure and rules.
So yeah, I wonder who this card is meant for, probably Nobunaga and reversal. Anyway, any request for gifs, stitches, or transparent?
Why is Da Vinci so moe
Oh yeah, I noticed this in the ED, so it's not just a planet of Sengoku Japan afterall. Just the Far East.
inb4 Japanese clans is put in those area instead of the actual countries
I bet that was the Ranmaru inside of her remembering all the other times he saw Nobunaga naked.
Requesting Da Vinci acting moe with Jeanne and giving 0 fucks during the funeral.
All of you missed the point with the ninjas. They were all the time behind the assassin, they could have killed them any time, but they only did it one Himiko was dead. Why? Because they work for Ichihime, they know Himiko was there and Imouto wants her dead for stealing her man.
I thought it was implied that those ninjas worked for Mitsuhide.
>Someone getting shot by a sniper while someone else is also looking down the sights of a gun
This is Para-mori all over again, isn't it?
Ichihime being the real traitor would be a good twist
They work for Mitsuhide, though.
No man can serve two masters. But they're not men.
Why does Mitsuhide have his own private kunoicihi harems but the real heir liek Nobukatsu and Nobunaga don't?
Right then, give me a moment.
Those were Mitsuhide's ninjas though, anyway that's not the only moment I'm talking about, there's also the part where Mitsuhide assassinate the brother, where are all the ninjas under the Nobukatsu faction's employment, don't tell me that there's only one. Even fucking Mitsuhide have three/four.
They are Ichihime's maids, I'm sure that they are on her side. If Ichi wanted Himiko dead, they will have her dead.
Because Nobukatsu is set up for kill and Nobunaga is too pure for pussy
Perhaps they are property of the Akechi clan rather than the Oda?
>They are Ichihime's maids
Because Mitsu is a Ichifag and wants her safe, maybe?
Totally didn't see this one coming.
Good job, Kawamori. Good job.
Now instead of waiting until the final arc, he just went and fucked with green girl right off the bat.
So much for that love triangle, I guess.
>inb4 the real love triangle is Nobu, Jean, and Mitsuhide
I'm pretty sure Nobunaga is the Ichifag, they seem to be awfully close as far as siblings go. Seeing as he didn't want her to find out about Jeanne.
He's an entertaining asshole.
Aye, didn't see it coming, I know he was going to make her lose somehow, I just didn't think that he'll outright kill her.
And Ichi doesn't even give a fuck when she find out.
inb4 >>101846950 is right and she's only keeping up a polite front while plotting for her ninjas to kill Ranmajeanne
Kawamori is setting trends. This way, the MC will be getting a new girl every 5 episodes, otaku get more waifus, and fans of best girl get to watch the other girls die.
If those ninja worked for Ichi they would have stopped Mitsu too, though. I doubt she would be happy with a dead little brother.
She doesn't care for him, she wants Nobunaga all for herself.
>Implying she isn't plotting to take over the Oda clan after Nobunaga conquers the world
more like she senses the power of Roman cock and is being drawn to it
Maybe Nobukatsu also wanted his brother's D
>inb4 the final boss is Ichi
>inb4 Ichi is Arthur
You just realized that now?
Is this what you meant by Jeanne giving 0 fucks?
And Da Vinci moe is during the funeral, right?
What if, just what if, Nobukatsu survive the assassination somehow and the whole love triangle is now between Ichi, Nobukatsu, and Nobunaga?
>And Da Vinci moe is during the funeral, right?
Nope, this scene >>101846818

Photos from the play.
I think there are some spoilers.
Didn't see anything spoilery though.
Thanks for the pics, BTW.
Mitsuhide vs Nobunaga in the end.
I loved how the 3 ninjas girl seem to get a chance to sing a song together.
>Ichi is Arthur
Knowing Kawamori, this might just happen.
Oh, you are right. I missed that.
But then it's kinda obvious that that will happen.
The question is whether who will win.
And also, where is Jeanne in the play?
I think I see Jeanne and Nobu fighting back to back
>And also, where is Jeanne in the play?
I think she is not there, there is Ichi, but not.
That doesn't seem Jeanne, though. She hasn't gold hair. It seems that is one of the ninja girl from the flower on the head.
Are you sure that's the play and not some seiyuu event or somethig? It's weird that they have their scripts there if it's the play.
Twitter says Yoko Hikasa was part of the cast so they just might not have used a wig, plus none of the other characters have accurat hair colors either
I don't remember where I read it, but someone said the play had the seiyuu "live-dubbing" the characters.
Nobunaga has at least the black bang, and Jeanne's hair color is supposed to be a bit important by Monkey's comment on it.
I think I get it now, they have the VA's doing live dubbing.
Except Mitsu a dumbass. Killing Nobukatsu doesn't make it less likely for the sneaky advisors to throw a coup, it makes it more so. The best option would have been to assassinate those that are constantly starting shit; beardo and nose man.
Nah, his action makes sense.
Without Nobukatsu, those sneaky advisors don't have anyone else to rally around. So now they either have to swear allegiance to Nobunaga or get killed/exiled.
It's a pretty scheme back in the middle ages.
Also, anyone know when 4chan x will work again? The 4chan's original extension feel very clunky and slow.
Using 4chan x right now. Works fine for me.
Wait, seriously? My captcha still doesn't load when I try using it.
Yes, thanks a lot.
>Also, anyone know when 4chan x will work again? The 4chan's original extension feel very clunky and slow.
Seaweed's 4chan X is discontinued, you can do two thing:
1) use Mayehm's 4chan x without Onnechan
2) use this fix
from seaweed's github and hope moot won't break anything again.
But are those advisors needed? They have been wrong on pretty much everything, and their only constant goal is to manipulate the top dog into doing their bidding. With the introduction of Western elements like Da Vinci, it would be wiser to just replace those incompetent dumbfucks with mercenaries and veterans from the West.
Are you using the latest version of whatever browser you have? The faggot behind X only supports the latest version.
They aren't just advisors though, they are vassals. You can't just replace them, that's how a feudal society works. You have a bunch of lesser lords that swear fealty to you, and you let them self govern on the promise that they keep an army and fight with you when commanded to do so.
Not unless they decide to rally around one of their own instead of following a fool to their deaths, which is how they would look at it. Let's just come to grips that Mitsu doesn't think ahead. Killing the advisors would have been the way to go, stealthily to avoid problems with the rest of the nobility and peons or go full Vlad Tepes and make examples though I suspect that wouldn't work here.
>You can't just replace them, that's how a feudal society works
Actually you can. Kill him and give the lands to another one or his heirs.
That anon is right, they are clearly enemies, keeping them can lead to an internal war.
> You have a bunch of lesser lords that swear fealty to you
In this case it is something nobody did though.
Thank you both, turns out I just forgot to update the damn thing. It still crash whenever I try to reply to people though.
Or you just imprison them and give their lands to new vassals. This isn't some ye olde English king, its Nobunaga surrounded by morons that wouldn't know a superweapon if it sat on a throne right in front of them.
Even if you kill all the _current_ dishonest advisors/vassals, as long as Nobukatsu is around, disgrunt advisors/vassals can rally to him against Nobunaga.
Not to mention in a feudal society, it's a lot harder for a minor lord to rally a support against his superior.
Killing Nobukatsu won't completely eliminate Nobunaga's problem, but it would help lessen the problem immensely, and that's the point.
I'm not sure what the situation is right now, but normally they wouldn't be there with all their relatives and such, so there is still someone that inherits their castle, land and army if they were to be murdered.
Main point is that their forces are loyal first and foremost to their clan, not Oda. Feudal kingdoms are a fickle relationship.
I knew the similarities with lacus were too big
I'm a bit doubtful about the world conquest part, but she was definitely in cahoots with Nobukatsu on getting Mitsu to kill him.
And this incarnation of Nobunaga clearly does not care for traditions. It makes no sense for him to keep up the old feudal order when it obstructs him constantly and when he doesn't even believe in it. The Fool should be the kind of person that would round up every noble, general, and community leader in his council room, lock the doors, ask everyone "if you believe I can conquer Japan with this giant robot from the West, cross this line", kill everyone that doesn't cross the line, and give their lands to his loyalist believers.
This is a general problem of this anime. It tries to adhere to feudal thinking, concepts, and social traditions in a setting that does not reward it. Most of the time, the side characters act as if robots, flying ships, interstellar flight, and the presence of a second planet that is technologically superior to their own by hundreds of years doesn't exist.
The way I look at it, the Japanese feudal code still exist in the Fool, despite crazy technology.
And it isn't that too far fetched of an idea either.
The one that's even shittier? Good on you.
He believes in the code of honor and the societal aspect of the feudal system. However, he puts no stock in the vassal part of the feudal system and would rather confide in commoners like Mitsuhide and Monkey than in nobles that do nothing but pretend politics while neighboring foes plot the clan's annihlation. He should have cleaned house, but instead this monkey business happens and now hes stuck with a bunch of people that will probably abandon him to serve the Western powers at some point.
>people disliking Nobu
There's a reason why he's called Nobunaga the Baka, you bakas.
Though to be fair, I think "cleaning hose" wouldn't be a simple thing to do either.
It's either a civil war within the Oda clan, where it's Oda vs. all the shitty vassals, or offing Nobukatsu so that disgruntling vassals have a harder time staging a rebellion.
It wouldn't stop people hating idiots, your point?
Is he a fool? Hes just inconsistent or held back. He is a no nonsense once-in-a-generation super soldier with the courage to oppose the establishment and the balls to put the success of whole battles on his back, but none of that translates off the battlefield and he ends up fucking around in his room or at some fishing spot while other characters make themselves look useful. Even a generic warlord with his enthusiasm would have figured out at some point "hmmm these people are holding back my efforts to conquer bitches lets get rid of these people somehow".
I love nobunaga when he no scoping those mecha pilots
Don't forget either that this is a very delicate time for such a civil war. If internal strife were to break out the enemies of Oda would surely strike in a heartbeat.
There's been 1 overt enemy, and the only thing that makes that enemy threatening is its nonstop flow of shit tier mecha coming from elsewhere. It took a date rape drug and the random as fuck intervention of Julius Kaiser to save whats-his-old-face from a complete asswrecking on the field versus Nobunaga.
>or offing Nobukatsu so that disgruntling vassals have a harder time staging a rebellion.
Actually, something like that would be a cause for a civil war, but I don't think the anime will go this way.
Why is she trying to learn the japanese way of the sword anyway? Shit's gay. Just bust out the good ol broadsword.
Because she'll be using the japanese swords?
Jeanne a big shit.
Kawamori a bigger shit.
Jeane's a qt 3.14.
Super Sonico manager killed him?
Meta as fuck.
Oh yeah, I wonder when she'll get the broadsword she have in the OP.
Well at this rate we might new a new OP from next episode onwards.
There is shitload of characters that aren't in OP yet they appeared briefly. Maybe at some point they will fly to Western planet?
That's true, what if they keep the same OP but remove the dead characters?
By the end, it would be Nobunaga alone.
Would someone explain to me what happened at the end? how did the younger brother die? Didn't loli waifu get shot?
There were two assassins, one is a Ninja from the Nobukatsu faction that was sent to assassinate Nobunaga. The other is Mitsuhide, assassinating Nobukatsu.
Both assassin reach their target and fire at the same time, thus the jump between two scenes. Nobukatsu died and Himiko took the bullet for Nobunaga.
And now we'll have two more funeral episodes.
By the end, Nobunaga wouldn't be in the OP.
Himiko took a bullet for Nobunaga, the assassin was presumably from the vassals.
Nobukatsu was killed by Mitsuhide. Did you somehow miss when he declared that he would become a demon, put on a mask and aimed at him from the roof?
Both assassinations happened at (roughly) the same time. To be honest, we don't know if any one of them is dead yet, but I would guess that Nobukatsu is and Himiko isn't.
The first half of OP has tons of Himiko in it.
They might change that part and leave everything else as is.
Or they might do nothing.
>and Himiko isn't.
Nah, she's dead, Jim.
A hole that big and that much blood. We can kiss the panda princess goodbye.
GOD FUCKING DAMMIT! You do not kill the loli!
She's a panda, so it's okay anon.
Lolis and shoutas dying are a guilty pleasure of mine as I tend to dislike 2D children.
Fuck this Nobunaga, give me the feel good Nobuna-chan instead.
Well then you must love this episode.
>I AM THE EDGELORD, HEAR MY ROAR!
Shouldn't you be sucking ISHITyama's cock in your generals?
>Killing off best girl
>Implying they'll be-able to bring her back with some sort of magic, if they did have that magic they would have brought the father back
>They didn't even explain her past with nobu
Wait a minute.
She was shot in the front of her chest.
But she's standing infront of nobu facing him when it happens.
So the bullet came from behind?
Did she even need to stand infront of it?
What I gather is that she "pushed" Nobu aside, so that the bullet hit her in the front instead of Nobu in the back.
She will be ashes by the next episode.
>inb4 Nobu goes crazy with her and his brother ashes again
D-don't say that.
You haven't seen next weeks episode.
She may live. Maybe. ;_;
Well, look at the bright side, anon.
At least Kawamori do it quick this time, just like pulling a bandage.
>Implying Kawamori can go against the stage play
The more I think about Mitsu's plan the more I think it is pant on head retarded. I mean, Nobunaga is hated by almost every noble, he is famous for being a fool, impulsive and not even a guard respects him, it is a well know fact he hasn't a good relationship with his father and Mitsuhide is known as one of his closest friends who doesn't know his place and when to stop during war meetings.
Also, one day Nobunaga comes back with two strangers, one with golden hair and one freak clown who gives him a war armor and swears loyalty without asking anything back.
Then, suddenly, another stranger kills Nobunaga's father and a mysterious sniper kills Nobukatsu.
The nobles should just think that Nobunaga and his butt-buddy are being too greedy and incautious, trying to get the power and command of the clan killing any possible rival.
I really don't see how Nobunaga can be accepted or trusted as a leader in this situation.
>So the bullet came from behind?
Yes, the sniper couldn't kill him if not from behind.
Mitsu's entire plan hinge on having someone else to put the blame of assassinations on.
If he managed to blame another rival lord, and do it convincingly enough, then it could work as a way to make everyone rally behind Nobu.
I think that we can all agree that the ED is fabulous.
Robot jousting fucking when?
>Robot jousting fucking when?
Can't wait for it.
This pretty much. He's probably gonna blame Takeda.
As dumb as his current plan is, it would have been even worse to kill the advisors that were against Nobunaga. Nobunaga and Mitsuhide would have been the first ones suspected of that.
Yeah, not to mention killing the vassals would trigger the internal fight that would weaken the Oda clan even further.
Oh god yes.
Well, regardless of who gets blamed, the advisers are stuck with supporting Nobunaga if they want the Oda clan to survive.
What was the significance of this scene? Were those ashes the threw?
>Were those ashes the threw?
Yes. His father's ashes, even.
Aye, it's his father's ashes, same as in history.
>Well, regardless of who gets blamed, the advisers are stuck with supporting Nobunaga if they want the Oda clan to survive.
Yeah, and that's what Mitsu's plan was, basically.
RED SUN OVER THE PARADISE
Honestly, his former plan was better. Nobunaga saving the day could work and make the nobles support him because he was right etc.
Killing Nobukatsu will only force them to follow Nobunaga (if they will follow him), will create disorder and division inside the clan and will be really dangerous if Mitsuhide won't kill every single strong enemy inside the clan.
I think he will regret this choice, I can't see something like that working in the long run, not to mention this is probably not what nobunaga wanted (I wouldn't be surprised if the betrayal will have its roots here).
>I wouldn't be surprised if the betrayal will have its roots here
This. Mitsu is looking more and more crazy with each thing he does, not to mention he is totally disregarding what Nobunaga actually wants. I can see Nobu getting pissed later on and alienating MItsu.
>>They didn't even explain her past with nobu
I think this is the part that might bug me most about her death. But it's likely that Nobu's memory will kick in during/after her and his brother's funerals, or someone else who knows about their past relationship will tell him about their past.
They. This event will more or less lead to the inevitable conflict and betrayal by Mitsu at the end, I bet.
This show is going to end in a tragedy, isn't it?
If things are still the way they are, then yeah probably.
This is most likely going to happen, Mitsu slowly going crazy and when Nobunaga yell at him, he'll break.
Unless Ichihime heal him or something.
Probably, there's also three or four important deaths and we haven't conquered anywhere on the Eastern planet yet, Western planet is going to be a blood bath.
How many episodes we have? 25?
We'll probably get some Caesar shit going down, where Nobunaga unites the two planets after defeating Arthur, but dies in the process or is assassinated shortly after (burned up with Jeanne?). Then Hideyoshi will take over.
Aye, two cours if I remember correctly, this is going to be a long ride.
>there's also three or four important deaths
Caesar, Ranmaru, Nobunaga and? Ichime?
The father, Nobukatsu, and Himiko(?). Caesar is far from dead, Ranmaru was dead so long ago, and Ichihime is not going to die for a long time, I think.
I can see it now:
Nobody fucking cares. Newtype polls are a sham
>West Star is barren brown and full of crystals popping up through the landscape
>East Star is blue, green, and full of unique wildlife
There is only going to be one star in this solar system by the end of the series.
Well atleast it's not fucking Ieyasu.
He's the Savior King, he'll save both planet.
> Tokugawa not so much because he's basically Trunicht
This got a smile from me. Fuck that national rice cake-eating tanuki. Hideyoshi also introduced shittons of policies that were counter to Nobunaga's progressive ways, so he's also at fault.
>Oh boy Nobunaga the fool
>Time to watch more best girl doing best girl things
>Haha Jeanne being useless as usual
>Oh boy nobu's going to get shot, stop being useless Jeanne.
>NO DONT DIE BEST GIRL
>YOU'RE THE ONLY REASON I WATCH THIS SHOW
>GODDAMNIT JEANNE WHY ARE YOU SO USELESS
>Best girl died for your sins Jeanne
Pretty much my experience of the last episode
Himiko died for Nobu's sins, not Jeanne's.
New Kawamori: fucks with the best girl even before the series hits half-way point.
Daisy was better
Useless as a piece of shit on a head.
They are ordered to guard Nobunaga, not panda princess.
himiko wouldn't have died if they had gotten to the assassin in time
But had she not stepped in Nobu would be the dead one. They were late, Himiko saved their asses as much as she saved Nobu.
>implying this won't affect Nobu
But they got in time. They wanted her dead.
But Ranmaru is alive.
Why would it be Jeanne's sins? She's unrelated to Nobunaga's dumbshit antics.
Let me say in this thread too, this episode was forced drama and it was full of dumb character decisions and actions.
They will probably die, since they killed of Himiko
It's clearly wasn't Mitsuhide, if you ask me and it would be random and dumb twist if magically he is the one that did it.
And no one could say for sure that Himiko would be there, see the assassin and be able to react on time. It's too much of an asspull.
But then again, Japan, anime... Wouldn't be surprised if it is, but I want to believe. I bet next episodes is going to start with the ninjas saying how sorry they are for their big fail to someone. It would be dumb, but still the lesser evil. Not that we don't have Nobukatsu death too, which was pretty fucking retarded itself. We can say all we want how logical it was and that it was the only way, but the truth is that the kid acted very dumb. He had to man up at least this once and stand up for the brother he believes in. But he decided to continue acting beta. And no one stopped him. Mitsuhide himself could explain to him how dumb he is and what he has to do. Hell, he could have played the bad cop if he had to. It could be resolved easy enough with other methods. He rushed ahead, just so we can have a double assassination drama scene. It was silly for someone who is suppose to be as smart as him. And what are they even going to say? Outsiders tried to kill them both? If he really had nothing to do with the other assassination (the better choice), then his move was very reckless. Hell, it can even cause a rebellion from the insides of the clan.
>It's clearly wasn't Mitsuhide
How so? We saw him putting that mask...
We saw him also taking it off.
He didn't plan both assassinations is what I mean.
Worst thing is Nobunaga didn't give a shit about her and she sacrificed herself for him.
Nah, have you seen his face?
it's the new Valvrave
I didn't even watch the episode yet, but this
It was shock.
Which implies he cares of her death.
I guess waifufags were expecting Jeanne to die for him instead even if it doesn't make sense as she hates his guts, and doesn't understand the vastness of Nobu's greatness and blabla or whatever BS Himiko was deluding herself into.
Now he might feel bad about it, but before that?
He avoided her as much as possible.
She was annoying as fuck.
Of course. This is the next Code Geass. /a/ will cry about it and say it sucks, but I will watch it while masturbating furiously to the non-autism of it.
>This is the next Code Geass.
You wish. No one gives a shit about this, Code Geass on the other hand was massive.
Why did we have to lose best girl so early.
A direct, straight-forward, DFC that's DTF, and what the fuck happens-- she dies.
Now you know why all these bitches are tsundere-- they know that if they are DTF they will die. Fuck you Japan, Fuck you!
>This is the next Code Geass.
It has 1/10 of Geass's popularity, though.
She was always the loser. Better to have her die now that an annoying love triangle.
I'm looking forward to his appearance.
TWO WEEKS OF WAITING
Two weeks to know for sure Himiko is dead, I think I will drop the anime now, I have no reasons to keep watching it ;_;
Hmm. He had to kill Nobukatsu as a top priority.
If Nobukatsu was not killed there would be a means by which the advisers could gain control of the country. It wouldn't matter how benevolent or necessary Nobunaga appeared, the fact is, there is a young easily manipulated boy who would allow the advisers to rule by proxy. That alone makes him someone they would want on the throne at all costs.
They cannot win the power struggle if they do not also have Legitimacy. Just usurping is going to cause civil war and lose them everything. Getting rid of Nobu is the easiest for them. Nobu winning means they might be dismissed or executed (it will probably happen).
Since both of the assassination attempts were carried out on the same day, Nobu will now assume his advisers wanted to kill both of them. He'll kill them all probably.
>there is a young easily manipulated boy who would allow the advisers to rule by proxy. That alone makes him someone they would want on the throne at all costs.
By that logic, Mitsu would have to kill Ichime too, something that doesn't look like part of his plans.
>implying women would be allowed to lead the clan when there is another male descendant.
Ichie is a girl
Even a woman would be better than Nobu TBH.
Himiko and probably Kenshin too.
And the Western star is full of women with high ranks.
Honestly it's stupid beyond all reason, but seeing how I am nothing but a mere pirate I take pride in the fact that this anime will not make a single penny from me.
It's expressly stated by a few people that their kingdom is extremely patriarchal.
There are other female leads, but their clan would never accept it.
>It's expressly stated by a few people that their kingdom is extremely patriarchal.
I must have missed it, what episode was?
>Finally some free time
>Watch last episode
>Himiko is kill
Kawamori is just playing around, right?
The protagonists are Oda Nobunaga and Jeanne de Arc. Is there any reason for it not to end in tragedy?
She will come back, mark my words.
I'll believe she's dead when I see her funeral. There's Himiko's second regalia, Jeanne's regalia, and whatever the hell the inheritance is. There's plenty of outs already available. Shame that we have to wait an extra week to find out.
I kind of hope it sticks. Himiko's a fun character, but this is an interesting turn of events.
So what are the chances the little furball was hiding inside her clothes and actually got hit with the bullet instead?
Can we flood Thomas Romain twitter account asking if they really killed best girl and best boy?
THAT IS SO FUCKING CUTE. HNNNNNNNG.
I wish someone told Kawamori that those pets like that thing ot Mikono's Shushu are annoying as fuck and retarded.
They are cute, anon.
>Of course. This is the next Code Geass.
More like the next Aquarion Evol, to be accurate, plus your description is based on false assumptions about either show.
Now that you mention it, the thing was conspicuously pointed out to us. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the answer.
It's more like Escaflowne.
Escaflowne was actually good, Evol was shit.
>mfw I wasn't able to protect her smile
I want to bully her.
I honestly can't understand Nobunaga. I tried to sympathize with him at first, thinking he must be a reasonable MC, but everything he's done has convinced me otherwise. Regardless, despite my anger at him, I'm still very interested in the show. I just can't grasp how he thinks... and I don't think he's doing the right thing, either.
I just can't believe Mitsuhide killed Nobukatsu ;_; I cried
Mitsuhide did nothing wrong!
FUCK YOU I WILL CRUSH EVERY BONE IN YOUR BODY
WHY IS JEANNE SO USELESS
>crying like a bitch in episode 1
Sure it won't be Nobu.
>Keeps getting rescued by girls
>Manly at all
Mitsu really did nothing wrong.
They are at war. Nobukatsu would have been a great leader in more peaceful times, but right now they need someone strong.
I understand that... I just don't see how Nobukatsu couldn't have been talked down. I don't know.
I mean, maybe I look at it in the same light that Mitsu did. I realize that it really was the best way to handle the situation... but I don't really want to accept it. Kind of like how Mitsu was crying despite what he was doing. It's just hard to accept
I would imagine that even Nobukatsu being talked down wouldn't settle the fact that all of his supporters would still be against Nobu. His death doesn't really leave any true alternative for someone to lead them to war.
Yeah, that's why I say I sort of understand that it was the best way to handle it, even if it's not something easily accepted. There would be no way to stave the supporters of Nobukatsu. With his death, they would have to come to realize they had no true leaders and without Nobunaga the clan will fall. It would have fallen due to the dispute otherwise, too.
Well, if we go by real history both Hayashi Hidesada and Shibata Katsuie will become Nobunaga loyal advisors later (Katsuie even one of his better men) so I don't know how this show will handle that.
Are they being portrayed as homoerotic sidekicks? No? Then they're getting the boot.
The anime is obviously sort of a moshpit of various historical figures and events, but the Takeda-Oda situation seems to stay the most true. I think it probably won't deviate too much, but there is (obviously) some artistic twist on it. It'll probably end up so.
I haven't read up much on the history, though, beyond knowing the links and references.
Actual Ranmaru, not Ranmajeanne.
That thing is really cute, goddamn, I want one.
If Monkey survives this shit then I'll be a happy man.
>I want one.
Buy the BD!
I doubt that Himeko is going to die this soon.
She's part of the OP and also shows like this always need at least one character of her type.
Yes, I am.
And it's okay
I want Ichihime-sama to step on my dick.
>shot through the heart
sorry, but it's going to be pretty hard to BS your way out of that one
It's panda magic, she ain't gotta explain shit.
It's actually pretty easy
No one could've seen it come this soon.
>every <insert genre I don't like here> show is shit
I'm sure the people who don't drop anything, aka, people with no life, are.
>Standing under an ice cold waterfall while roaring like a beast
>Not the manliest
Take your normalfag rhetoric elsewhere.
It's fun, so why not?
>not having her sing to your dick
This show isn't even that bad. I can definitely understand how people can dislike certain characters, but what really matters is how they're handled for here on out. For example, this show really needs to emphasize Nobunaga from a difference perspective at this point, which is going to have to been done for the inevitable unification of the Oda clan to make any sense. The historical Nobunaga was a crazy fool, but he managed to pull it off.
Also, Mitsuhide is great character and I look forward to his future exploits all the way to Honnouji.
Fucking Nobunaga. This is his standard reply to everything.
>Himiko and his brother get shot
>It was inevitable.
>Zehi mo nashi
Well, my mistake. It was inevitable
And she was my favourite character.
Maybe if you didn't like her, she would have lived.
>people are actually dropping nobunaga the fool
its like you are plebs
I loved his crazy laugther at episode 2
Fucking Mamoru Miyano.
>Actual Ranmaru, not Ranmajeanne.
That's the actual Ranmaru of the present. Are you going to say actual Jeanne is also dead, because she is.
Nobukatsu instigated him to kill him. So did Ichihime, didn't you pay attention? He was waiting there to be killed and smiled when he did it.
That was kind of shitty.
Oh yeah, I didn't think that through, alright, three important deaths. The Father, Nobukatsu, and Himiko.
All on the Oda faction, this is not a good start.
Yeah, and Ranmaru and Nobunaga don't exactly have a history of survival.
Even Patroclus died, a far, far better man than them.
Will Nobunaga stop acting like a retard next ep?
>She sees your dick
Waiting for Jeanne to do something is painful.
Damn, sons of a bitch, they are still using her in the mag illustrations.
Nah. I expect angst over these two deaths, though. And I wish he knew that Jeanne was leaving him because of his attitude (and I really hoped she would).
I think that not even the writers know how to deal with him. For example, they gave all the legitimate reasons for Jeanne to pack her things and leave, they had her actually doing it, but then they went and gave the MANLY WET ROARING OF MANPAIN as a reason for her to stay (out of pity, rather than anything else, really), which is ridiculous both as a reason and as a scene. Then they added Himiko's sacrifice to it, making Jeanne's reason clearly out of pity.
Now, if they went and portrayed Nobunaga as genuinely pitiful, that would be another thing, but they insist on making him look all heroic and badass and misunderstood, when he's definitely not; he's just a dick. It's like they have already run out of ideas on how to make him likable except the whole "YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HIM!" thing, which is bullshit.
He's the protagonist, but, until now, he has the worst writing of all the characters, on par maybe with Caesar's stupid crush on Ichihime.
I care more about the Nobukatsu's case. Poor boy, being so sweet and being killed for it and use him in illustrations.
Yes. I'm just enjoying the ride while it hasn't crashed yet. Though we all know it already derailed and the disaster is inevitable
How did Japan react to the episode?
>if they went and portrayed Nobunaga as genuinely pitiful, that would be another thing, but they insist on making him look all heroic and badass and misunderstood, when he's definitely not; he's just a dick.
To me, I think that he sticks to his own principles and does things his way.
Him not going to the meeting and instead have Mitsuhide attend the meeting for him? He already knew that even if he suggested the best method for their survival, the advisors would disagree with him. Hence Mitsuhide's line about Nobu not going into a battle he would lose.
He's just eccentric and people look down on him because he does "foolish things".
Angst is fine but he's clearly doing shit to piss people off, at least that's how I see it. I mean why the fuck would you go to your father's funeral and do that bullshit, say nothing, and leaving like a dick? None of his actions make the slightest sense and they wave it away with "YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HIM!" bull and leave it at that.
Maybe if they explained some of his actions beyond he is too deep, people might like him better. I can only relate to Jeanne because she isn't acting as retarded as everyone else.
And why the fuck didn't the ninjas take out that assassin earlier? They were trailing him long before and they could have ended him before he even shot.
The director probably hates Himiko.
The ninjas are fucking useless, why wait for the fucking attack to happen before ending an assassin.
Gotta admit, after all the eastern classic demon mask ritual and everything, the sniper rifle made me chuckle with due to how shockinf it was.
>disgracing her heavenly voice with a dick
Is it just me or has Chihara Minori been getting absolutely sexual characters to voice recently?
I understand you anon.
I was slightly irritated with Himiko when she started lecturing Jeanne : 'You just don't understand muh husbando !'
Dude looks like an ass to everyone, but they are the ones who should make efforts to 'understand' him and not him who should watch his behaviour. BS !!
I was chearing when Jeanne decided to leave.
But of course she's a weak-minded grill, now that she has seen his wet muscular chest and his angsty act, she's going to fall for him, because nice girls like to give TLC to the angsty assholes. And Damn !
At first, I thought maybe I just didn't understand him and he'll show some sort of character worth having faith in. Nope, episode after episode has him being the biggest asshole to ever grace media and this funeral hit the nail on the head. Jeanne and the advisors all have perfectly good reason not to trust or give a fuck about Nobu but all the too deep ass puppets in the show like Himiko and Ichihime keep throwing the "YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HIM!" card. Even Da Vinci is up Nobu's ass and he doesn't even know him.
Now I get to watch Jeanne follow this dick around once more so she can understand how deep his ocean is. I only hope for Caesar to ram his UNDERSTANDING into Ichihime so she can talk about something else besides Nobu's supposed depth.
That's what the real Nobunaga did.
So... we are getting a new funeral episode?
Maybe jeanne is going to force a little bit of sense and decency into the asshole, but I'm not too optimistic.
Caesar should just NTR her along with Himiko.
I thought Nobunaga was meant to be the fool here.
She already saved his ass once.
She isn't as useless as you make her be.
To me, especially with the tarot BS this episode, it looks like she'll be playing a containment role toward his craziness. Keep him in check or something like that.
Considering she's the only one amongst his 'friends' who see there is something wrong with his behaviour instead of having her tongue deep in his rectum like the rest of them.
No, I'm still butthurt over EVOL
I'm spending more time gathering enough motivation to watch it than the time needed to watch it.
Well shit, im disappointed they killed his brother, i can see himiko dead or went to the background and never be seen again but his little bro dead?welp.
Something something about last episode and Mitsu with his oni mask.
More like putting the two dead characters together. I seriously hope Nobunaga is at least sad for his brother, the poor kid loves him so much. Nobukatsu was too perfect.
Still fucking retarded, unlikable deed upon unlikable deed is getting hard to watch.
I can only hope, Jeanne is the only hope to turn Nobu into less of an asshole.
Maybe he'll stop being so foolish once they start falling for each other.
>As those who saw NobuFoo public performance in December may have noticed, the demon mask worn by Mitsuhide in Nobunaga The Fool episode 6 is the same demon mask entrusted at the last minute by Akechi ninja troops kunoichi Kagome. If you consider that, the sad episode 6 is as 3 times painful.
What was the public performance in December?
But they already started. He even named her Ranmaru, knowing how much she/he was important for his past self.
The play, I think.
Also, there was a play? Oh, right, forgot the whole "Fool Project" is supposed to be a huge franchise covering a lot of media.
>But they already started.
If this is how romance starts with Nobunaga, I'd hate to see how he treats people he dislikes.
Guess I'll avoid intentionally going after spoilers, at least until the anime is done. After that, of course, not like I'll be seeing any more of The Fool, so doesn't matter.
Original Nobu, the one both Jeanne and Nobu dreamed about.
>Also, there was a play?
Yes, according to some anons on /m/ it was written by Kawamori. Some photos here >>101847901
Well, he at least tried to kiss her and made a joke about couples sneaking in rooms. There is at least a bit of sexual tension between those two.
Original Nobu? But he IS the original Nobu, isn't he? This isn't Nobunagun, after all.
Reincarnation of historical Nobunaga.
Yes and no. The original Nobunaga died in our world as per history, but he then later reincarnated into the current Nobunaga we see now on the Eastern Planet. So in a way, he's still the original Nobunaga.
Like how Jeanne is actually Jeanne who's then Ranmaru and then Jeanne again.
This is original Nobu from the intro in the first episode. The stupid one is something like a reincarnation.
Have the chart.
So, these two planets are somehow in the future of our world? I don't get this shit.
Where are these details from, anyway?
We need to add "God" or a dog before OldNobu.
Our Nobunaga is a lot more handsome than the current Nobunaga.
Don't know if it's future or some alternate universe where the East and West is seperated into planets. As for the details, they're all shown in the first episode.
Fuck, I'm only learning this shit 6 episodes in. I thought that was a vision of the future, since the stupid one was who stretched his hand out to Jeanne in her vision.
First episode starts with Jeanne d'Arc and original Nobunaga dying. Rewatch it again.
Also, Jeanne reincarnated twice?
I thought it was a vision of the future, shown by Jeanne's prophecy power thingy.
What Jeanne see is a vision from god about the Savior King while she's being burn by the English in our history. This power then carry on to her Kaguya reincarnation, which is why she lose her shit during the teleporting house fire.
Yes, she's shown to be reincarnated twice.
No more dogs please.
I fucking can't believe I didn't get this at all.
So, the vision seen by original Jeanne was of the future, while what the Mitsuhide betrayed Nobu vision was of the past?
What? On what basis do we assume this?
It's an Evol joke.
Aye, and Mitsuhide betraying Nobunaga is what happened in our history, Honnoji temple was set on fire and attacked by Akechi troop, an attack which kill our history's Ranmaru (which is Jeanne's 2nd reincarnation) and Nobunaga. That's why Eastern planet Nobunaga see Ranmaru in Kaguya.
>Also, Jeanne reincarnated twice?
Cancer making a come back? Not unheard of.
12 000 years of NTR
You crossed the line there, son. Ranmaru was loyal husbando, best historical boy, 10/10. Jeanne was best historical girl. The only one that is cancer is Kaguya Jeanne.
Is it me of is Jeanne top bulliable material?
I'm glad that that bitch of Celiane ended up fucking a dog. She deserves it for making Toma suffer so much.
But we're talking about Kawamori's Jeanne and Ranmaru.
Honest, my hate can only go to Kawamori and Okada.
But she's literally begging for it. I would pay to have Jeanne deal with Zessica+Amata's level of suffering.
So, the girl with blonde hair in Nobunaga's dream, was she French Jeanne or Jeanne Kaguya? If it was Kaguya, he should have recognized her when they met.
Implying Appolonius wasn't the worst of the worst.
>Cheaters are worst than homewreckers.
>He let his poor dog die in his place instead of setting thing with Touma.
He is one of my most hated characters ever. You don't cheat on someone that loves you so fucking much. But if you do, at least love the person you cheat on. But no, he betrayed both and was just playing with them. Apollonius worst character ever.
Maybe he recognized her but didn't say anything.
I'll be all alone, but I'm starting to guenuinely like Jeanne, as she has been shown to be the only one (bare the traitorous counselors whom I'm starting to like to) who isn't sucking the Nobu's D and is rightfully mad at his chuunni act and trying to talk to him about it.
>tells Jeanne to not let fate dictate her life
>says everything was inevitable
I have no problem with the counselors, Nobu hasn't shown anything at all to prove he'll be a decent clan leader. It isn't that hard either, they just want him to stop acting like a dickhole every situation.
It seems he did, he even recognized her smell. Probably why he gets annoyed by her and wants her to improve, the way she is will get her killed if she hesitates in battle.
That's not Jeanne he see, that's Ranmaru.
Both are equally awful.
Dropped it by episode four, got tired of Jeanne being completely useless and weak, got tired of Nobunaga being treated as both awesome and complete idiot at all times, usually by the same people. I was at least hoping for hilarious stupidity, but this show is too generic to really be that type of stupid.
It wishes it was the type of bad that Daybreak Illusion was.
It was a mistranslation. Nobunaga uses neutral when describing the person and when Mitsuhide says it's a woman. Nobu answers: "Who said I was talking about a woman?" No idea why it was translated differently.
It was meant to be ambiguous. Still, it could mean Ranmaru's gender in general is unknown. He looks exactly like Jeanne with a haircut, so she could have also been forced to crossdress.
Didn't Mitsu just say "bijin"? It sounded like Nobu said that too but it was translated as "foreigner".
It's a pun. Because is the same word for both.
Mitsuhide was using it in context of beauty, Nobunaga of a foreigner. Ranmaru also had blond hair, so I have no idea if this version was Japanese or faux like Kaguya.
No, what Nobu said was "ijin", which means "foreigner".
you can see a pineapple in The Strength card
there is no pineapple actually, but the lion looks like one
Mitsu says he is a beauty, Nobunaga laughs and asks if he even said he's speaking of a woman and they mentions is foreigner for the hair color. Ranmaru's hair is blond.
Nonetheless, Jeanne and Ranmaru smell the same (orchids).
If she comes back next episode, I'm picking it back up. Otherwise, nope. Just nope. Shows that just kill off characters for cheap shock value deserve to lose their audience. Especially if it means the rest of it will be a one-woman show starring le nondescript woman.
Mitsu a best
But he killed reasonable Shota and support Mr Backshit-insane to rule them all.
>green lemon thingies in hair
>waiting for aniki patiently during my birthday
>All he gets me is some shitty watch and a mad enemy clan behind his back after him
>Otosama cancels my trip to chuckecheese cause aniki got a new toy and some foreign friends
>Aniki keeps yelling
>Otosan keeps telling me to become a man but i want to be like ichi hime oneesan
>Oneesan ignores me though
>Mitsu has a gaybulge for aniki and ranmaru is useless
>Thank god mitsu killed me life was suffering anyways
>Oneesan ignores me though
Ichihime is going to give zero fucks next week and it's going to piss me off badly.
Being Nobukatsu was suffering.
German here, we had something like that here as well, called "Fräulein" for young women. It was declared a demeaning term or shit like that, and if you use it, the leftists will consider you worse than Hitler.
What do you call women now?
Different German here.
We use Frau.
Not sure if Fräulein is actually considered demeaning.
It's certainly old fashioned and only used ironically but I never heard anything about angry leftists.
Just wait until Yuropoor feminists ask for Frau to be suppressed and replaced by Herr instead for everyone.
I personnally feel concerned with female rights being shatted on in many shitholes around the world, but basically most of Yurop doesn't need feminism anymore, so those cunts throw childish tantrums against stupid stuff just to feel relevant, while they are not.
>Just wait until Yuropoor feminists ask for Frau to be suppressed and replaced by Herr instead for everyone.
You mean Herr being replaced by Frau.
Because that's what actually happened in Leipzig.
And with this she is the eternal best girl.
May her kindred soul RIP in peace.
I thought Mitsu likes Ichihime

I don't know why am I even bothering but the it was something between the lines of inconceivable anguish and sorrow that cannot be expressed with words but with only making loud sounds.
I reminiscence animals doing this, but I can't precisely tell you what is it.
