Diane remains a miracle of the universe.
>next issue has colour pages
>and is 29 pages long
>plus he's doing a collaboration
How the fuck does the artist manage this workload? He doesn't use assistants (other than the occasional bit of help from his wife) either.
Well that's freakish.
Good taste that man though.
King has been staring at Diane's ass this whole chapter.
Hauser's face is great
Will be interesting to see what happens next chapter. Diane can hardly go all out with her weapon this time and the old guy was easily able to beat king by himself without any boosts.
>beat king by himself without any boosts
King wasn't even trying and didn't want to win
He went all out with his sacred weapon. The old guy hardly broke a sweat either.
Plus beardy mcScowl-face is with them now and he's head and shoulders more powerful than anyone else there.
The old guy was being boosted by the other knights siphoning power to him.
He only started properly using the boosts when fighting mel
The old guy commented that king wasnt trying
It's my favorite current running manga. I never would have heard of it if not for /a/.
Well, poor guy will have to fight his waifu.
I'd imagine, since the time for stealth is over, she may as well use her geomancy to make a bigger space for herself. Which will probably mean they'll frop into the cavern with the demon.
It's kinda like Magi or Noragami before. There's a few people who read it, but it'll take an animu for more people to notice.
Nah, can't see them being happy with that much collateral damage
God I hope this gets an anime that does it justice.
Were's clearly about to see Merlin now , only one more sin after that and they've probably enough content for a 2 cour series.
>Arthur vs Hendricksen
>Merlin(?) vs two holy knights
What the hell is gonna happen? Are Ban or Meliodas gonna get back their sacred treasures from Merlin's castle?
What studio would be best for this?
I would say bones, but they'd fuck it up with an anime original ending.
So I'd have to definitely say Trigger or madhouse.
I'd like to see Hoods get a propert shounen action
Fine, Trigger with as much budget as they need.
This is my favorite page from the entire manga as of yet
Arthur is strong enough to wreck everyone's shit
Hendrickson unleashes the seal and causes the demon knights to rise up and take control of the capital, Beardy McScowl dies most of the 'good' holy knights flee, to then ally with Arthur.
Sins on Arthur's side but fight independently.
That said, this author is great at making unexpected shit happening.
All those reactions, the general absurdity of the situation, the 'oh shit, what happens now'. All comes together for a great spread.
Plus Diane makes anything even better.
Still this one for me.
It's already looking like Arthur is strong enough to take on Hendricksen, the question is what the hell Arthur is gonna do if he actually takes him out. That's pretty much the main villain gone, Arthur would probably go and free the king who would turn everybody against the 'good' holy knights AKA Gilthunder, Hauser, and Dreyfus. Though that would be anticlimactic as fuck, so to be honest I have no idea where this is going.
I wished he had kept the beard for a while longer.
I bet Arthur is gonna be the real villain.
He would serve as a good foil to Meliodas.
Just putting this out there...
What if the king was incredibly powerful and batshit insane and the holy knights imprisoned him for good reason? He gets released, kills Hendriksen, leads a demon army.
Yeah, two children-like guys who are strong as fuck seems fitting. But so far the only motivation we have for Arthur is "The king is my friend, I want to repay him" which probably makes him a good guy. Unless >>101813724 is true, but that seems unlikely.
Both Elizabeth and Margaret kinda go against that, unless they somehow were fooled by their father the entire time.
>"The king is my friend, I want to repay him"
Who says he wasn't bullshitting his way through?
None of the knights knew him at all.
Mexican standoff fight between Arthur and Hendricksen until the demon clan gets released and general mayhem starts. A pissed off demon army should be enough to get everyone stop fighting. Just look at them trying to get out. They're gonna wreck shit.
Btw next chapter's title is FIRST CASUALTY. I think Geera has racked up the most death flags by now. Little bro went "please be save", she asked Helbram for the truth about her father after this is over and she'll be at ground zero when the seal gets released. I think Helbram may betray her when the opportunity arises.
It's a pretty awesome spread isn't it? The whole situation, scene composition and the artwork with it's strong contrasts and no screen tone whatsoever.
The whole chapter looked pretty good. Dat background scenery. I have no idea how he manages that work load.
Yeah, we've had her backstory, a "she's not really evil" sidestory and she's been promised big plotty revelations.
A whole lot of death flags.
That said, she's being set up for a 'redemption' arc too.
Other big candidate is nameless teleporter knight. She's got a pretty broken power that'd be all kinds of inconvenient for the plot.
Stuff like the foreground junk. Could've easily not done that and saved himself some work but by including it it adds detail and highlights that it's a relatively cramped enclosed space.
>plus he's doing a collaboration
Maybe he's doing another crossover artwork with Mashima. Though at this point, I'd also like to see a different artist, since he's been doing stuff with Mashima a few times already. Maybe the Yamada-kun and The 7 Witches artist doing NnT characters and vice versa.
>Yamada-kun and The 7 Witches style NnT
HOLY FUCK WANT
That reminds me, Akamatsu is also in WSM with UQ Holder, as is the Noragami author. Either way, it's always fun to see artists doing these collaboration publicity stunts. Hopefully we'll get some cool art out of it.
Why wouldn't his muscles be completely atrophied from standing still for 5 years? People bedridden for months already turn into skeletons
Because he's immortal.
It's magic faery water. It ain't gotta explain shit.
I think eternal youth actually explains it quite well.
>Enter dank dungeon/library
>Come face to face with a miracle of the universe
Rape the maids
What a great goddamn page. The look of surprise on them is priceless.
Haha, Dreyfus has been having a really shitty day so far.
>God I hope this gets an anime that does it justice.
Yeah....good luck with that.
Trigger prefer doing original stuff
Every time I see Dreyfus hair, I'm thinking "L'oreal, because I'm worth it". Just imagine his hair moving in slo-mo during an action scene.
Best studio : BONES
What's it likely gonna get: A-1
No one is wondering how Diana covered that distance in a really short time?
No, because we read the last chapter.
After seeing Yozakura Quartet last season, I think that team could pull off a pretty cool NnT adaption as well. It has a similar mixture of T&A, action and fun.
Well, Bones is currently doing Noragami (same mag) and it looks good so far, though it will probably be marred by a shitty original ending. If they could keep bones from doing original stuff and just leave the season open ended for a later continuation, it could be pretty good.
King pushed her ass
>Diane in this chapter
I think we can all agree Diane is best girl
Can we stop pointless waifu wars?
Only when she's small.
It's not even a war, just a vocal group of shippers.
>What's it likely gonna get: A-1
Sadly, this. They can do some pretty cool stuff, but they suck horrendously at either managing their budget or planning their schedule. And don't get me started on that CGI magic circle shit they did in Fairy Tail.
Found it on batoto
>You guys know that Arthur was foreshadowed the moment we saw the names of the sins right? Thousand year spoilers: Meliodas marries Elizabeth and becomes the next king of Lyonesse. Fathers Tristan and aids Arthur against the Saxons. Ban marries Elaine and becomes king of Beonic, named after himself. Fathers Lancelot and dies of heart failure after Arthur leaves him out to dry. Diane is the "Beautiful Giantess" who is slain by Tristan. Matrona has the same root as Morgan, as in Morgan Le Fay. King is Hellekin, King of the Fairies and lover of Morgan Le Fay. Harlequin is the Italian adaptation used in dramatic comedies. Gowther is the half brother of Merlin. His father is a demon and his sin is raping a covenant of nuns. He becomes the inheritor of the German Empire. Merlin is... well Merlin. Necromancer and shapeshifter who never shows up on time. Nakaba is one sly bastard though. Hint: Elizabeth's kidnapping parallels a future interaction between Meliodas and Merlin. Finally there is Escanor who refers either to Escanor the Handsome or the Large. One is slain by Gawain and the other befriends him. Note that Nakaba's first manga Rising Impact has characters named Gawain, Lancelot, and Tristan. Thats because he wanted to draw an Arthurian legend manga, but settled for one centered on golf with awkwardly named characters. So really Arthur was foreshadowed for 15 years.
Its because NO ONE TRULY GIVES A SHIT about this shitty manga. Its Diane being giantess fetishist wank bait seems to be the only stand out allure this series has. It almost feels like the reason a few nutcases are obsessing over her is to "make up" the difference for how in Shingeki no Kyojin all the giants were a bunch of men. So they hype up this lone token giantess.
Diane is best character so good she can carry the show.
You seem kinda angry.
Is this bait, or is anyone actually this stupid?
Diane give not so much fuck.
Nah, the fact that the ONLY time /a/ talks about this manga is with threads about the giantess makes him have a point. It seems like the story is unremarkable shit and the only thing worthwhile is Diane.
Same goes to Fairy Tale, no one gives a fuck about anything but Erza the masturbation bait. All I'm left to assume given the nature of discussion if that the story is garbage.
I'm sure you have fun seeing /a/nons in rage.
No, he was being boosted. His strength and speed were. He just wasn't using any of the powers.
Were the hell do you think you are?
There's a thread every time a new chapter is out.
Again, it's only a vocal minority that's fawning over Diane.
Why isn't Ban anemic from constantly losing blood all the time? Have you seen how quickly Ban can regenerate?
Not at all, the only time /a/ talks about the manga is when a new chapter is out. It's just that Diane's popularity is enormous so she's usually a giant part of the discussion.
The art is nice and there is an interesting plot. And I don't mean the gigantic plot, but the daemon origins in all that which we still don't know how will end.
Fairy Tale was horrible past the first arc.
Some interesting tidbits, though it still remains to be seen how closely Suzuki intends to stick with the Arthurian legend. Same as, for example, Houshin Engi was inspired by Fengshen Yanyi, a chinese novel, yet still did its own thing. Or how a crapload of stuff is inspired by the Romance of the 3 Kingdoms or Journey to the West.
Have you never been to any of these threads before? Go to the foolz archives, man. Yeesh.
He doesn't need to check the archives to shitpost.
Ban and Meliodas OTP.
