It's hilarious how often studios get how fucking mirrors/glass in general work wrong

How can mirrors be real if our eyes aren't real?
>>
>>101792340
Well, reflections are a bitch to draw. Couple that with the tight production schedules most TV anime face and you're bound to get mistakes.

but generally speaking, and in the above example (as in similar to it) it'd be both easier and more wise to just don't make a reflection at all. It doesn't need to in there in the first place, but since it's there but fucked up, it only draws attention.

It'd also draw attention if it wasn't there, "IS SHE A VAMPIRE???"
>>
Who fucking cares?
>>

You're never gonna let that go, are you?

>vampire Ilya

Now I wish she was.

It's just a fucking window, no one would even bother thing there should be one.
>>
Reflections are hard as fuck to draw because our brains can't imagine them properly, this isn't an "anime only" thing.

Ufotable has a team of monkey animators.
You expect quality from the team that gave us Futakoi Alternative and Coyote Ragtime Show?

Then get some reference shots for different poses next to mirrors. That gives you the idea of what you should be drawing.

And really, that's an excuse either way. All you need to do is recognize that it's an easy place to make a mistake so you make your grey matter work a little harder to realize when you are doing something wrong.

They actually bother drawing them?
>Create new layer
>Flip horizontal
>Lower opacity
