Cao Cao confirmed for over 100 int for beating Ryuudou 2.0 400 years later
Cao Cao confirmed for >100 int for beating Ryuudou 3.0 400 years later.
RIP in peace Duke
atleast he went out wasting houkens arm
Damn, shin collecting those memorabilia for later use. Full armor when?
Houken really is an idiot in the end. The man is mentally weak as fuck and Riboku strings him around because of it.
All he needs are armor pieces and throwing daggers, maybe a bow but I don't think that's his style.
Oh and can't forget MUH HAPPY HORSE.
where did you get this?
Who has the highest taunting stat , Rinbou or Duke Hyou ?
No surprise considering he is one of the 4 greatest generals of the 7 warring states. Only 2 other people will come close to him.
It's kinda depressing he's part of the losing team along with you know who. They kinda deserve a bit more props for being on the gimp side.
You are going to have to carry that weight
Both losers got owned by their king. Hilarious.
Duke of course, he gets things done when he taunts. Rinbou never achieved anything but make us laugh.
Out of the 4 greatest. Probably only one can compete with him atm, another is still "growing" and the last one is dead. At least in this manga.
Sucks that his death wasn't on the battlefield but rather a result of foul play
Ousen is as strong as him and Renpa.
Then how come Ousen fails to defeat Riboku twice in a row when he leads the Zhao invasion campaign and has to resort to political maneuvering (probably not even his idea) to deal with the man?.
I also highly doubt in the manga any of them are a match for Renpa on even terms, but there's no such thing as even terms in this story, because Renpa never gets to fight with his own forces.
Funny how none of the new "generation" so hyped about will be the greater than this one. Ousen, Renpa, Riboku and Bai Qi
Wasn't historically Ousen the one that liked long campaigns appearing inactive for a long time, waiting for the opportunity to strike?
In his last campaign he spent a long time pretty much doing nothing.
Renpa can't even be considered great for what he has done once he left Zhou. He was great for his accomplishments with Zhou and once again got fucked over by the king.
Don't forget best girl is equal to Riboku. She has to have the most loyal/consolidated army in the entire series.
Mou Ten was.
Yes, but his campaigns weren't short either before they had to use Plan B. We're not talking like Kingdom manga where a campaign goes for less than a year.
Zhao literally took nearly a decade, if not more. After they got hit by an earthquake and famine and shit. There's no excuse when you compare merits as generals, the man was out classed.
Meng Tian was known more for his contributions to society than his merits as a general.
Well historically no one even gave him a chance. What's he gonna do when no one wants to give him an army?
At least in Kingdom Hara gives him some screen time. If this were just based on records without liberties the man would be sipping martinis until he died.
The only true super star of the new generation is Kyou Kai for really fucking obvious reasons.
Sipping martinis till he dies isn't bad considering how the rest dies
But the battlefield is his LOVER. You can't deny a man his PASSION.
Wang Jian honestly got the best deal out of everyone, but you can bet your ass he's one of the last bosses due to his death being unrecorded.
>Every commander of shin dies
Must have a death wish having him under your command.
That is until Wang Jian takes him, but if >>101792722 theory is true then Shin's gonna end up killing the fucker anyways
Truly the man is the Guts of Kingdom. Nothing good comes from being around this guy.
riboku actually agreed with calling him a buffoon
It's one of the few times the databook was incorrect, though this time it's not about the numbers but just the text.
>implying buffoon is not different to idiot
At the same time, Riboku failed in this current invasion of Qin, even with much superior forces.
And Riboku's victories lately depend a lot on having Houken.
Not proportionally. We're talking about an unstoppable Qin which conquered Han and had no opposition committing massive forces against a broken down Zhao.
This current arc doesn't even compare. The coalition doesn't even outnumber Qin 2:1.
And Ousen takes no part in Riboku's gambits in this arc at all. It's not fair to say he's better because he got matched up against someone dumber than him by 12 whole points.
As expected of the Duke, he died like Ouki did, passing on the torch to the new generation
i wonder how riboku himself would've fared against duke hyou.
Mougou's victories depended on Ousen and Kanki. What's your point? The ability to acquire talent is part of being a leader.
Duke Hyou was the greatest hero in history
At least he broke Houkens' arm.
Read everything translated this week, and was thinking how Duke Hyou is the best living Qin general.
Do you think Shin will eventually make general just because no-one wants to be his superior? It's a death sentence.
You guys think there's place in western education for Chinese history?
Personally I think why the hell not since my teacher also taught us some Indian history for a week for whatever reason along with other countries.
It is possible. I'm just not sure if it would be done well.
Even medieval western history is not taught properly.
The Ottoman empire was pretty cool too until they shot themselves in the foot.
No, you can only learn about King Arthur in history class.
Mougou confirmed for the best and strongest Qin general.
I read Kingdom and Yowamushi Pedal today, I've overdosed on hotbloodedness and weird-looking people.
How much MP does it cost to summon Houken?
A dead tiger and some bait.
So, who is the next general that SHiN will follow?
Actual general and not just him acting out on his own?
He was never a direct superior. The shrimp guy was still a buffer between him and Shin during the Wei campaign.
I clicked spoilers too fast without realizing I just spoiled myself on who kicks the bucket next. Fuck.
So now Shin has:
Weapon: Squinty's sword, Big Lip's glaive, Sei's sword
Off-Hand: Mufasa's shield
Accessories: his two bitches
All he needs to do now is to tag around a general with neato armor and he is set.
You forgot the horse mother fucker. Every general has to have his own special hat wearing horse.
Shins horse will wear an armor of swords, shields and glaives that he got over the years
By the time shin becomes general his weapon shack will look like some kind of RPG inventory
>and Shin becomes Chinese Gilgamesh
Heki not dead bro.
historically he's about to get #rekt
as in he gets owned and they decide to shit all over his corpse some more
Are you trying to say one of the Ten Bows of China will beat Shin? Those guys have sucked dick so far besides Kyou En.
>Kyou En is in Chu with Renpa
Nevermind. Wow. Totally spoiled.
Damn, just checked Shiji.
Now I'm sad.
Xin is just one bad luck cloud huh.
and now we know why the Qin Emperor was obsessed with finding immortality
Who is his real life counterpart?
Sasuga Hakurou. Always so meta.
>Born in Qi
>Retreat from Renpa every single time knowing the difference in power levels
>Realizes he's not in MC's homeland, moves there on some excuse like he can't win
>Climbs up to a rank capable of taking people under his wing
>Recruit Ousen and Kanki into his harem
>Bang bitches and pop out genetic monstrosity
>Spoil the best grand son so he's indebted
>Climb to Great General by sitting back baiting faggots as he turtles up all day every day
>Wins anyway because his deputies are Great General tier
>Faces Renpa and knows he can't win
>Takes an entire night off just so he can track down the MC with his meta radar
>Act nice, gain temporary harem addition of MC + God Dancer securing his victory
>Takes on Renpa now that his harem party is over leveled for the encounter
>Isn't stingy and even sacrifices an arm to buy time for best result
>Win against Renpa gaining unmatched fame, handicap gives excuse to retire in all his glory
>Probably dies of old age before shit hits the fan
This man is clearly faking it.
Uh, most characters in Kingdom are named after their real life counter parts.
The only exceptions are guys like Ouki, and that's only because Japanese don't have the specific letters for the Yi in Wang Yi.
In a historical manga they usually name the guys after real people.
Eg. George Washington would not be renamed as G-wash
This is kinda depressing if you think about it.
-Shin reaches Great General status
-Shouheikun is the Chief of Military Affairs, direct superior to Shin
-Shin gets demoted after he fails due to Shouheikun's betrayal not wanting to die from curse
-Ousen demands Shin not be in his army for Chu
-Chu falls, Shouheikun dies
You just can't get around this mother fucker.
>Sei wises up on the curse
>OH SHIT time to find some immortality
>welp time to make tomb
>thousands die making it
Let's not forget about Shin's curse's first victims
And technically Hyou was big brother enough to be a direct superior also. It all fits.
Daily reminder historically Kyoukai is mentioned in the Shiji as a general before Shin. RIP 2nd best girl.
i guess he means their actual chinese names
And the Coalition Against Qin's MVP goes to..................SHIN!
I mean Mangoku for Duke Hyou? That's a fucking bargain bin deal, who wouldn't take it?
Also remember that angry cavalry dude who took charge of the hill assault in Shin's first battle?
Didn't go so well for him either.
Ten: Just as planned
>Go suicidal with Duke Hyou for years and years
>Come out unscathed every single time
>Shin enters under your direct command
I doubt she's getting away with it either. She commands Shin half the time anyways.
what happens to Heki? I can't find historical info on him, is he even a real person?

Spoiler alert: Heki is his actual chinese name.
Rip in peace Duke Hyou, the best Kingdom ;_;
Yup. And according to my internet skillz, he dies in the chu invasion. Something about that Minister who's friends with mou bu betraying and shit.
No, it's Bi, there's no heki in chinese
Source : I'm chinese
wouldnt the curse of shin affect sen? or is that for the future?
im just catching up on the raws but i dont know the overall warring states history.
Your internet skills suck dick and totally mixed people up.
Who's Sen? If you mean the king, read the spoilers above.
Shin gets stronger in the training arc.
Except it is not training.
So how many chapters are we currently behind?
so by training you mean holding hands with kyoukai right?
Is kyoukai back already? I need more Kyoukai
TIL: Using one arm is almost always better than using two. Therefore, dual-wielding must be the best class/spec in Kingdom.
triple wielding since the horse is a weapon too
Put a spike on the horse's head or something, too.
Best Kingdom moment so far is still the 'arrow'.
I call bullshit, the last guy who had spikes on a horse was Kanmei. He didn't even get one kill before getting rekt.
But no one in this manga wields the horse like Lu Bu does. Hell even Amiru's brother uses the horse better.
I'm almost certain the horses in Kingdom are mobile troll faces meant to ruin the enemy's concentration.
>Enemy cavalry charging towards you
>Nine-fold spear formation ready to rape the shit out of horses that will run straight into your pointy sticks
>Sees crazy smiling horse with crest white teeth
>Sides fly into the heavens
>Get stomped to shit because you can't hold your spear properly
He was too good a general for this world.
not to mention that the calvary literally can ride vertically down a wall.
what's up with that?
What about the bendy halberds?
TIL: Ancient Chinese don't skip leg day.
>Medieval European Knight gets sent flying
>Gets thrown off horse
>Ancient Chinese guy gets sent flying
>Legs fucking pull 1000kg horse into the air with them
more believable than riding down a cliff.
in my country that is called falling to your death
What you didn't learn how to concentrate your Ki onto your horses' feet? Even the Japanese learn how to do it with their ninjas as early as Naruto season 1.
Predecessor for those bendy titanium glasses we have today.
I think I've perfected military formations. I want to have my army move in a whirlpool motion, and each individual soldier will also be spinning themselves around.
Junji Ito pls go
Nope check >>101791355 someone else already tried it and got ass raped.
next time i get attacked in TW i will make my troops spin like a revolving door and then attack them from behind
I wonder if anyone's pulled off the Ousen move in TW. Anyone who falls for that must be bitching at themselves hard.
All I ever did in TW was put out a little group of bait infantry, wait for the enemy to approach, and run my cavalry up the flank.
This won every battle.
You now realize that
>Ouki left Shin his glaive which symbolizes the conquest of China
>Duke left Shin his shield which symbolizes the defense of Kanyou
What else will Shin be given?
From the looks of the first chapter, a really fucking ugly hat.
And a winking horse.
MUH HAPPY HORSES WERE FORESHADOWED
I bought the new dynasty warriors because reading kingdom gets my blood lust going. I can't find Xin though. Either way it's gonna be ballin' when he has ouki's glave and duke's shield.
DW is 400 years in the future...does Xin even get a cameo like Wang Jian does?
I cry evrytiem.
For a guy who has god like combat stats, Houken sure is full of fucking openings. How is he gonna survive Kyoukai the next time they meet?
In my opinion, he isn't a Bunshin. Sure he has the power of one.
But he thinks himself superior, so he has more openings than lolis in rape-doujins.
Like SSJ2 Trunks
Whichever general is dumb enough to wear the armor or hat from chapter 1 may as well fly Death as their banner.
Seriously, I bet you just have to force Houken or Riboku to wear one of those pieces and their fate is sealed.
>Houken acquires Shin's helm
>Houken trips over a flight of stairs
and then his green-haired imouto becomes Zoro 0.5 edition
Bushin actually isn't completely invincible, it's just an ideal state of mind / body, kinda like Mystic Gohan.
Houken has the ideal body, but his focus and state of mind aren't all that strong and he's easily beaten out of it because as hinted by Duke Hyou and Riboku, Houken is actually someone who thirsts for battle like a real general even if he currently lacks the skills for it. It contradicts his entire life style, yet he cannot help fussing over it due to the strength one gains from the 'weight' that comes from being one.
Kyoukai is the closest person to reaching the pinnacle of both, being able to harness the state of clear mind and still harness the power of hot bloodedness as shown when she raped all 500 elites during the Sanyou campaign, but not only has she not yet learned to combine the two, her body's too weak in stamina and therefore limits her focus on a timer.
Despite being spoiled I just love how Kingdom manages to be so fucking great from each segment to the next. Right after Duke Hyou dies I'm already excited for how Kanyou will deal with a 20-40k army Riboku with Houken.
Incoming Riboku tier power level general aka BEST GIRL aka EVEN MUH 4TH STAT IS 100 BITCHES
Did decision of Riboku to ask reinforcements from the coalition actually backfire in hindsight?
How would it backfire?
The reason of Duke Hyou and Hi Shin Unit catching up Riboku's army is that they saw the weird movement of the reinforcement army. Or so they said.
That might be it haha, though I'm not sure if the ones Duke Hyou caught were from the other members of the coalition or Zhao itself.
Remember Riboku and Kaine had to go last, because they were with the army right up until the day Kanmei died. Riboku was even initially going to summon Kaine in the first place meaning she wasn't in the mountain ranges.
But maybe they left in the night and those other scrubs got caught. Very possible.
Houken can kick the shit out of kyoukai
Hell, even Shin in the future will be able to do that without his plot armor
>Riboku in real life: Perfection on the Battlefield
>Riboku in Kingdom: Mistake after Mistake because muh filler arc
Being Li Mu is suffering.
That's probably true, Kyoukai doesn't have enough raw strength/stamina to compete.
Kanki's arrow or the arrow that killed Ouki?
I liked Kanki's arrow the best.
But that arrow has 300% recoil damage on it. Everyone who shoots it always dies.
Yeah, and He did that only to save the other states' pride, which makes it even more hilarious than " Hey Ordo, do you know that Ousen usually escapes from impossible fights?".
Poor Riboku, always losing for such shitty petty details...
I'm sure Shin wasn't as retarded in real life as he is in Kingdom either.
He really was an idiot for not clarifying what it really meant. He totally gave Ordo the wrong impression.
Perfection on the battlefield maybe, but certainly not in politics. Ousen is way better at that.
Ousen learned from Hakuki's example while Riboku didn't learn from Renpa's. How one deals with their king is also an important part of being general, even if it's not directly related to the battlefield.
In that regard, Riboku was an idiot. Renpa was a shining example of how stupid his king was to begin with. If he wasn't gonna suck up for secured loyalty he shoulda ousted the mother fucker.
But it's a god damn persistent arrow.
I guess....seems only worth it if you're lying on your death bed though.
