Let's talk about Moyashimon, /a/.
Why the fuck is nobody scanlating it?
There's 23 chapters out, but it finished this January with 150-something chapters.
Last update was in october, the anime was pretty good so I'd guess people would've taken up scanlating it seriously.
The scanlation group died after Moyashimon so maybe it gives you cancer, OP
>Why the fuck is nobody scanlating it?
- Because it's apparently difficult to translate, with lots of technical terminology.
- Because it gets pretty boring later on.
>the anime was pretty good
only the first season.
Holy fuck seriously? Dammit.
Everybody who tries to scanlate it gives up because of all the technical science related Kanji and vocab.
I bought both of Del Rey's releases, but Kodansha USA has already said they have no intentions of picking it up from them.
Just gonna accept the fact that I'll never be able to read how the story ends.
>- Because it's apparently difficult to translate, with lots of technical terminology.
I can dig that.
>- Because it gets pretty boring later on.
Didn't stop other manga.
>only the first season.
I disagree but I acknowledge that season one was better then two.
Hell, even the official English translations were cancelled.
What the fuck mang.
>Everybody who tries to scanlate it gives up because of all the technical science related Kanji and vocab.
Then why don't they make it a fucking open project like some game translator groups do?
>I bought both of Del Rey's releases, but Kodansha USA has already said they have no intentions of picking it up from them.
Wait what. Why?
>Just gonna accept the fact that I'll never be able to read how the story ends.
Time to learn moonrunes, but I'll never be able to distinguish all those lines anyway ;_;
>Wait what. Why?
Moyashimon's future is screwed outside of Japan. ;_;
WELL START CONSIDERING IT THEN.
IT'S LIKE THEY WANT TO LOSE ON SALES.
>Moyashimon is finished
Wait seriously? Okay, I need spoilers, stat.
Did the MC hook up with the trap? This is super important.
Would pay for scanlations.
Moyashimon is not hard to translate if you actually know any Japanese at all (which admittedly does rule out a good chunk of scanlators).
I don't mind the language, I did a chapter of it way back when where the professor goes on his rant about terraforming using natto, but I suck at things like typesetting and redrawing (if anything the walls of text are more a bitch to cram into the text boxes than they are to simply translate) and that put me off from doing any more
Do you guys think TMS will do a 3rd season to catch up with the manga and have it also end? Or is stuff like Aikatsu & that alleged TMS X Fox co-production with Zooey Deschanel pulling a Tim Curry as a voice actor on a said LilPri series 3 the future of TMS (TMS only did Z/X and Space Dandy outsourcing for Bones to brake the monotony of doing shows like Aikatsu)?
>>Only the first season.
Really now, TMS seam more like their wacky selfs with season 2, also it was Yuichiro Yano's main focus at the time as he was also doing Justice League Doom at the same time, and Doom felt lacking as most of Doom was outsourced to other studios like Ajia-Do & Magic Bus, TMS went on to do Aikatsu after Doom was done with.
All I want to know is if Kei won.
Time to learn italian fagets.
