What are you currently reading, /a/? Or, what have you just finished?
Just read Good Ending. I thought it was really good, regretting waiting so long to start it.
Finally finished up PunPun
Tinkle tinkle hoy
2 volumes into Ping Pong in preparation for the anime. 21 volumes into Slam Dunk, but I haven't read it in a long time.
A bunch of ongoing stuff too.
Finally someone one here with good taste in manga.
Oh man, I remember these threads, good time. ALmost induced as much rage as Kimi no rage
>worst girl wins
Would I be wrong in saying Yuki was definitely best girl?
Because she was definitely best girl.
>ALmost induced as much rage as Kimi no rage
I used to think that. But looking back, it was nothing compared to it. I really enjoyed reading it and actually wanted more unlike KNIM.
Just read through Train man and Molester man. I have hope.
There are currently people on /a/ (Like >>101782364) who actually think that Sho was better than Yuki
Sure you do, /a/non. Just go run after a girl, it'll all work out.
Worst girl was Sho, anon. Yuki was damaged goods but she never deceived anyone
but tennis sempai doesn't win.
How do I get into manga? I have the huge rec chart and know where to go to read it, but I have no motivation whatsoever. The only time I have read manga was when /a/ was hyping Watamote before the anime and when it aired, I just stopped all together and continued to watch anime like I always have. Is there some kind of discipline needed so one won't lose interest?
Just because sho won over the tennis dude, doesn't mean she WON the whole thing anon. Yuki won remember?
God damnit, I suppose it was a good ride but Kimi no Rage was on another level.
I wish Sacred Blacksmith would release faster
Just started Mx0, what am I in for?
Trying picking something short. I usually just go by the shortest, usually not complete, then shortest complete, so on so forth.
I ease into it. Usually when I read something I'll start getting hooked and realize theres not new chapters and find something to fill the gap, thankfully there's ALWAYS something to read.
Just startet to reading Trinity Seven(chapter 8), the MC is one the best Harem MC by far.
But anon, best girl DID win.
It's just she won best husbando and not the MC.
Marathoned Yowamushi Pedal and now waiting someone to rip Space Bros from CR.
make sure you get some lube.
Got caught up in Nisekoi thanks to the anime. ShuuxRuri strong
I love manga where side relationships also occur, but they're so rare. This made me happy.
If anyone here is not currently reading this, I am disappoint /a/.
I read up until he got the armor. Has it gotten better?
I won't lie though, I did feel bad for Sho when Seiji dumped her. Girl was already damaged from the senpai douche cheating on her so I'm sure that breakup was practically devastating to her.
Halfway through Hoshi no Samidare. I don't want it to end ;_;
Why? It's the worst shit out there. Seriously, amnesia arc? Come on.
Yes, by a tremendous amount.
It will anon. Someday, it will.
I like it because it's shitty. Cliches are fun.
for me I was forced to read manga for a couple of years because the headphone jack on my laptop was broken. now that's no longer an issu , I can see that manga is slightly harder to start (a lot of series get better as they go on) but its considerably easier to get through/finish
The ride was almost perfect, if only Eri had won instead of Yuki.
>I like it because it's shitty.
That's literally shit taste. As expected of a Nisekoi reader, I suppose.
>My opinion is better than your opinion
This is what you sound like
Finished New Grappler Baki yesterday and am reading Baki Son of Ogre
I just read Wa!, it was a cute short read.
Shit's overrated yo
I forgot about GE, there were a lot of good characters in it and enough interesting dude characters that didn't make it such a typical harem manga
Finished Hapi Mari.
It was a wonderful ride.
I read Good End and Suzuka over the past two days.
It was a good two days, might read Kimi no Iru Machi tomorrow.
This cute shit right here, hnnngggg
This anon is right, though. Best girl was that hipster art girl.
There are people who would actually want to read that after knowing about it?
Burger girl did not win
Reading through shirogane no nina. Pretty cute slice of life.
I have to see for myself. Can't let /a/ decide everything for me.
Just started the latter half of Usagi Drop and I'm excited
>That damn scene
>HER SKIN IS SO PALE AND LIKE PORCELAIN
Really man, that's what drives you mad when she's only wearing her panties?
Out of all girls, burger girl was worst girl
best husbando is izumi but kouno is a bro too. I hope he gets to fuck risa everyday, but erixkouno is otp
No one doubts who best girl is but Yuki is far from the worst girl in the series. That spot belongs to Sho.
It's gotten damn good, especially the art. Also, at the moment, main girl is losing by miles. Which is a nice change. And the girl that won is awesome.
Worse than Used goods or NTR senpai? Anon-kun pls.
you have bad taste
just finished Variante
better than i expected and the ending somehow got me.
it will but its one of the better endings, hope you can enjoy it:)
I'm reading Kono oto Tomare and it's pretty good shit. However the scanlators infuriate me by numbering the files in their downloads by not including a 0 before the page number, which completely fucks up the way they're sorted. I hate this shit so much.
Boys on the Run....wooo, that manga could really make a man rage.
It has a 10/10 ending, and you get all the proper closure, etc., unlike a shit ton of manga. It ends at the perfect place.
It's a fantastic series, enjoy the rest of it, and don't worry about a rushed ending.
Doesn't she get wet for her guardian that she had a beautiful perfect platonic relationship with?
let me tell you a secret, girls IRL are like sho. they're nice and cute but they're more trouble than they're worth. Not because theyre mean and have bad intentions but because they're stupid
>Work up months of courage to persue a relationship with a cute co worker
>She starts to warm up to you
>Get into bad situation with her roomate
>Girl hates you
>Asshole coworker scoops girl up and turn her into his personal slut then dumps her. Girl was a virgin
Man, the rage flowed hard
She really makes my penis feel funny.
Can't hear you, too busy enjoying this manga.
Yes, and it's glorious.
I can't believe people are still saying their thing is kind of one-sided. They made out and he was clearly fine with it.
We all know this anon, doesn't make it any less painful to watch.
Finally got around to reading Onanie Master Kurosawa. Broccoli-bro was best bro at the end.
>DARK and EDGY: the manga
Will it matter? They'll all die in the end anyway the rate things are going
I was waiting for this post.
Just wait until the anime airs. You'll have entire threads.
>implying it will ever get an anime
>another baki fan
first time I've seen someone aside from me mention it on /a/. the series has it's problems, but I really like it anyway.
maximum tournament > 5 escapees > black pentagon > kaioh tournament > pickle > the kid > ali jr. > the champ > final battle
as far as arcs go
Yeah, I know right?
It was announced weeks ago.
I just picked this up because you mentioned it. If it's bad I expect you to take responsibility.
I'm reading a lot of ongoing manga as it's released. But I think I'm about to start Classmate, Kamimura Yuuka wa Kou Itta.
any recs as far as good battle manga go?
I've read and enjoyed
is Shaman King actually good? I heard the ending was fuckshit.
I guess this is as good a place to ask as any. Anyone know of manga where best-friend-kun gets a girl? This is actually pretty difficult to find.
the ending is fuckshit. If you can get over the art style, it's an alright read up 'till the end.
Mysterious Girlfriend X is one
yandere kanojo, kinda...
ichigo 100% had the octopus-lips-kun get a girl
The premise sounds a bit boring (it's about a koto club), but I'm enjoying it so far. Read up to chapter 8 before you drop it; that chapter is the climax of the first arc and is fantastic.
First one that came to mind is Tonari no Kashiwagi-san, and he actually gets his girl quite a while before MC.
Can someone tell me the right order for Grappler Baki? there are so many series...
I'm reading Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo right now.
Just finished volume 7, I'm going to be gutted if I don't get a good ending.
I've been reading Denki-Gai no Honya-san, pretty chill.
Tell me, is Bokurano more consistent? Cause I dropped this at around v11 because the story was a mess by that point.
The rest are side stories.
As you can see part 1 is not fully scanlated, and also part 3 has more on batoto than MU shows
What's this, people on /a/ actually read manga? I would never have guessed.
I just re-read Hetakoi. It's a pretty fun one.
yes. bokurano is excellent. much suffering, but that makes the moments of hope shine even brighter. and it brings up some really heavy themes, and I think deals with them well.
>some people say that it's a sad movie if the hero dies at the end
>but to me, it's a sad movie if anyone dies at all
Way better. I read both, and loved Bokurano. I just kept reading Narutaru in hopes it would be as good as Narutaru, and for children having horrible deaths.
>the entire middle of it is the OTP trying their hardest to NTR each other by way of misunderstandings
I like Hetakoi, but it was not fun to read for a large portion of it.
I started watched Sora no Manimani, hoping that I could continue with the manga, only to find that the anime ends farther along than the manga is scanlated. This is true suffering.
>What's this, people on /a/ actually read manga? I would never have guessed.
I don't understand why you'd say this
On the kimi no rage topic. Do you have to read Suzuka beforehand? I would appreciate if you don't mention too much, just if I should read it first or not.
Currently reading Blade of the Immortal
>>the entire middle of it is the OTP trying their hardest to NTR each other by way of misunderstandings
I don't understand, what is not fun about this?
I thought Bokurano was crap.
No. It's set in the same universe, but the most you'll miss is a couple of cameos and references.
That being said, I wouldn't wish KNIM on anyone.
Not really. But Suzuka is actually the better read, if you ask me.
I want to read/watch jojo's bizare adventures, or whatever it's called. is it any good? do I read the manga or watch the anime?
I didn't like it either, but it was definitely way better than Narutaru.
Don't be, I actually love raging. Could even mention some other manga if you'd like.
Boys on the run is one of the finest examples of FUCK YOU.
The art is not very good and the fight scenes are a bit difficult to follow; it reminds me of Assassin's Creed for some reason.
I'm also reading Devilman, which is quite good, and Getter Robo (which is also good, but it's nothing like TTGL). I'm planning to read Mazinger Z, Haikyuu and Stardust Crusaders.
I have yet to read Narutaru, but I feel like the fact that it has characters with more than 2 chapters of development makes me think i'd probably like it more.
you read the manga from the beginning, and you don't skip a damn thing.
part 1 is boring, part 2 is fun but bullshit, the manga actually hits its stride with part 3, part 4 is a slower pace, part 5 has bad characters and plot but good fights and is the most gay, part 6 is insane and bullshit but has girls, part 7 is amazing and also gay, part 8 is just getting started
after you've finished parts 1 and 2 you can watch the anime. then wait for the part 3 anime to air this spring. the OVAs are just not worth it at this point.
Koe no Katachi. Disability moe is best moe.
For more disability moe, see Shino-chan wa Jibun no Namae ga Ienai
Started Narutaru, currently almost done with vol. 2.
Same author as Bokurano so I'm expecting it won't be pretty.
The art of this guy is so plain, but at the same time the designs of the dragon-things are.. kind of interesting. Does for a good vessel to the story.
Also Drifters. Dat Hirano art. Dat Nobunobu.
Apparently I read it a while back. I know because it's on my MAL ;). Now that I see the characters, I remember a little bit. It was alright for a single volume.
She was also pregnant and had the protag sign as the father when she went to have an abortion.
Insult to injury, The douche's best friend got her drunk and fucked her and to top it all off, the douche got her fired from her job.
Still in love with the asshole
Why would someone make a manga about real life
>gets beat up by the asshole
>she sees you all beat up
>asks what happened
>when you tell her, she asks if the asshole is alright instead of caring about you
You would think it ends there, but actually it doesn't. We just haven't got there.
Yeah, she made it much, much worse. That entire manga had me ranging from beginning to end, it doesn't let up, you're angry all the way through.
Hell the fact that the douche develops a bad case of bowel cancer later on didn't make me stop hating him.
It's a manga about real life with a standard fictional manga protagonist. Imagine all the rage that would generate
Reading Yakitate Japan right now
They are in the third round of the Yakitate 25 show
I like how he had that moment of insight though and called her out on her bullshit. Yeah, they were rough words, but she deserved them after betraying his fight strategy to the asshole.
Finally someone else reading this masterpiece.
Good Vibrations (and good taste)
Just finished this myself, thought it was a good read overall. Nice taste.
>They are in the third round of the Yakitate 25 show
That's the ninja fight, right? That's my favorite part of that whole arc.
I'm in the middle of reading Nougami Neuro, and enjoying it, but I would have preferred if it had stuck with the kinda episodic, solving-a-bunch-of-little-mysteries instead of this "I'M GOING TO SOLVE THE BIGGEST MYSTERY EVER" shit.
