What you wokring now?

Which group are your personal fav?
>>
So what's the anon archive site now? The wikia got rejected by MU or something.
>>
>>101771625
It did? Wait, can't you just use /a/nonymous? It has worked for Raildex and other things before.
>>
>>101771625
I didn't even know you guys were making an archive until the previous thread. When did you start organizing this?

As long as they release good quality stuffs with not drama, they're all my fav.

Somehow I finished my rough translations for Sumire 17-sai. They're pretty shit, so I'm going to try to tl check/proofread them, which is going to take a while.

Scanlating in a laptop is suffering.

Nothing at the moment, procrastinating.

Hi Wa Mata Noboru because of Gintama and Jojo.

It's alright, take your time.

What manga which you most like to see getting translated?
>>
I saw someone just translated Chapter 1 of Komori Quintet for anyone that enjoys Tiv's art style. (Masamune-kun no Revenge)

>new denkigai

I still remember when most of the authors' works were completely untranslated.

Koe no Moe.
>>
Let's make our own font pack. Let me know if you think it needs more categories. Where is everyone!

>which group is your favorite
I don't have one, mostly because I follow too many different manga and almost all of them have different scanlators.

Seriously, I have nearly 50ish on regular check list.
>>
>>101784058
>50ish
That's rather small time. How regular is regular?
>>
>>101784058

Pffft
>>
I wish there were more manga for me to translate. I feel kind of useless, because it feels as if though there'll always be someone better at it than me.
>>
>>101786086
what kind of manga you would like to translate anyway?
>>
>>101772959
That's nice. Not enough people care for unfinished projects. They rather jump on the new thing. I hate it when a manga has several scanners working on it.
Frankly I don't care about groups. I just care about good manga.
>>
I've partially translated "Devil Ecstasy" by Oshimi Shuuzou, I suck at any kind of image editing anyone want to try typesetting or whatever? I think at least chapter 1 is done.
>>
This thread is cancerous as fuck.

I'm with two moderately popular projects, but I'm annoyed that they keep stalling at certain points. Some people feel like taking two months to do their parts and so on, which delays the whole process. If you want to become a scanlator, get used to shit like that.
>>
>>101787027
Scanlation is just a hobby, people have other priorities in life.
>>
>>101787506
>real life
No, that's just the typical sorry ass excuse for fags to sit on projects and whine if anyone else takes it. English scanlation scene is just shit and full of attentionwhores and dramaqueens. You fags will never reach the efficiency of chink scanlators.
>>
>>101787662
If you pay us like the chinks pay their scanlators, we would be as efficient as them too.
>>
>>101787506
If they really have real life issues that keep them from doing any scanlating for 2 months+, they should say so instead of vanishing off the face of the earth only to pop up 3 months later and complain that you asked someone else to do it.
>>
>>101787662
>never reach the efficiency of chink scanlators
That's because the chinks have got a shit lot of official releases on their side. We don't.
>>
>>101787855
Fair point.

>>101787662
Scanlating is a hobby, not an obligation. Deal with it.
>>
>>101787662
>Implying there aren't any drama in the chink scene
Faggot, the chink scanlation scene is even worse than the english one. Something like sad panda is already enough to have people in the english community complaining about SECRET CLUB.

The chinese community is even more "exclusive" with their distribution. I'd like to see you defend them if we're stuck using the same practices they did. The english community is pretty damn good in comparison.

Sometimes /a/nonymous works, sometimes it gets rejected. I made a blog to use as a frontend so that it's more likely to get accepted.
>>
>>101786086
>I wish there were more manga for me to translate
What do you mean?
>>
>>101791709

Forgot to mention that it's Habanero Scans. If you want to get your release on MU without having to make a site, just post on Batoto under "Habanero Scans" so that I know to update the blog with it (and update MU).

>>101784139

As in weekly/monthly releases. The active ones.
>>
>>101793075
That's a really good job, anon. Now it has to be known by /a/'s scanlators to be effective.
>>
I heard that Yandere Kanojo is not being scanlated anymore, anyone knows more about it?
>>
>>101793860
Some /a/non picked it up to translate and is reading through the series to get a feel for the characters. Said the new chapters would be done sometime today or this week.
>>
>>101793948
ah, ok then, that's fine enough for me, thanks.

So, I've run into a hiccup. I'm the translator for Ore Monogatari, but my typesetter has been largely unresponsive/extremely slow/busy/whatever. However, another anon posted some typeset scans of the translations I posted on /a/ for chapter 3, except there was a mistake in my script and I skipped over a few bubbles, leading to this mess of a page. Anyone know what font was used so I can fix it? Also, any tips on cleaning up that big grey bubble so I can put new text there?
