This place has been going a lot slower since /jp/ was born.
IT SURE HAS LOLOL!!!
I enjoyed this gif immensely.
True. But a lot of that actually has to do with threads lasting longer. When a discussion can last 200+ posts over 8-9 hours, you don't need to start as many threads as you do when they age out in 2.
The speed also has a lot to do with the change to a popularity-based thread removal, instead of time. Which means the same threads can stay around for a long time.
I like the speed we're at now, not too slow and not so fast that we lose posts in a matter of 2 hours.
I would post a Reimu highjack to demonstrate how /jp/ segregation is a good thing, but I'd be spoiling it. And I would probably get b&
This is a double edged sword. I used to rejoice when Naruto/Bleach threads aged out and disappeared, but now it's like a long, endless fail that's constantly present.
Good threads stick around too, but they're less common.
I still miss Touhou and VNs.
/jp/ just isn't the same.
LOOK OUT MAN, HE MIGHT MAKE A HATE COMIC ABOUT THIS!
If you use Firefox, just use the 4chan extension and hide them.
I need this Guts figure.
I used to do this, but I refreshed /a/ once upon a time, and the entire front page was filled with hidden threads. It was a bit depressing. They weren't all Naruto/Bleach, but they were all fail of some flavor.
Haha, I have this Guts figure. It's only $20.
I shot this pic with it.
o wait it's a slightly different figure
probably the same line though
This is the exact one I have:
Same figure line as the one in the OP, but some reason that ones out of stock.
I just bought it in a store.
For a toy that doesn't do anything but sit there and look cool, $20 is still a lot.
...Then again, my power level probably doesn't compare to the lot of you.
I took photos of it with my cat, it was worth $20 just for that.
Actually on that site it's $10.
