Yuuko best girl.
>HURRRDURRRRR I'M A FUCKING REEEEETAAAAARD HURRRRRR
I want to eat Baron's banana
Stop splitting the goddamn thread before episodes you idiot!
Why? The general threads are pretty cancerous. I'd rather have a clean livestreaming thread so I can away from that for at least a little while.
2ch thread up yet?
>starting with henshin
HOLD ON TO YOUR BUTTS.
FUCK OFF NOZOMI
Why link directly to justin when linking another stream relayed from there anyway? It will just ruin the stream when it gets to crowded.
>different precure greeting us every week
OH SHIT A TWIST
So they aren't going in order with these. I guess it's whoever they can get at the time.
HONOKA FAGS BLOWN THE FUCK OUT!
We dream today.
>skipping Splash Star in the anniversary intros
So they're going by series order.
Starting with the Pinks.
Black -> Dream -> Peach -> Blossom
Don't worry. They'll get to them, tomorrow for sure!
They are doing them random, not skipping anything.
I hate you.
I want to lick not-nagisa's salty eyebrows.
>holding hands up didn't work
WHAT'S GOING ON
THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO HOLD ITS GIANT HAND UP
The fighting we've seen is already far better than anything in Smile or Doki. Makes me real happy.
Jesus, how many attacks does Princess have? Not that I'm complaining, the more variety the better.
WORST BLUE EVER!!!
Why do people care about the fights in a moe show?
Moe is secondary to awesome fighting.
Shut the fuck up, we're livewatching now.
What have I missed? The delayed stream is being dumb.
>better than anything in Smile
But thats not true.
The villians came out of a chest ala Pandora's Box?
It's the same as every fucking season.
Nigga, do you even Precure?
Blue is some Rose of Versailles shit. Look at that hair and rogueishly open shirt.
yes it is, smile was horrible
No it wasn't
I bet Fortune will join within 10 episodes.
I've been keeping up with it for two years. How can you tell me that for adults this is anything but a moe show?
hahahhahahah Megumi can't outrun the master of running away
That was fast
Post traumatic stress disordah?
Princess released the villains somehow didn't she?
I guess it's fitting that the blue is fast.
Learn what moe means.
Protip: it's not a synonym for cute.
What, the A-part's over already?
But the OP just ended!
Sucker's bet to anyone following spoilers, baaaaaaaka.
>The fighting we've seen is already far better than anything in Smile or Doki. Makes me real happy.
But Smile and Doki had no fighting.
You see, this is the cancer Smile brought into the fanbase.
You niggers have the memory of a fish. This is the same thing that happens every first and second episode.
Huh... did you forget the middle season battle and a couple of other episodes? It was better than the average Smile episode, but not better than Smile's stand out battles yet.
Just as Saki was the perfected Nagisa, Hime is the perfected form of Erica.
What a semen demon
We Milky Holmes now?
Smile had the best fighting.
>meanwhile the monster and general are still attacking the city
man these Cures are useless
Hime is so small
No I'm sad monster too strong
Also is the rest of the world taken over or did I hear that incorrectly?
Under attack, not taken over yet. Hime's country is taken over though.
These background vocals
>hap pi ness chaaaaaaaaaj
Did the stream freeze or did Hime really hold that face for a few seconds?
Oh hey, Doki soundtrack is still here. Nice. I like this song.
wow amazing fights
Well it seems Toei has swung back to the "fairies have little to no relevance" side of things. Thank goodness.
Yeah! I sure liked "Five guys get knocked into the air" over and over again!
Fuck you. She's great.
Holy shit these attacks
>Attack named "shoot"
detected a mad doki or smile fag
sorry your show has just been blown the fuck out
>Attack named Heart Destruction
>actually a punch, not a shoot
>not liking blue happy shoot
That was a step down from last week's episode.
Dammit, Hime is shippable with the entire team!
SO MUCH /U/!
ugh more Mana worship in the movie
thank goodness after this DX movie she'll never have a speaking role again, so tired of that character
>blushing while handholding
I think that can be said of every second episode in the franchise.
MALE CURE CONFIRMED
haha time for /het/ in the next episode, gonna go get my irrigation system ready so I can use /u/fag tears to their full extent.
Next week looks AMAZING
APPLE HAT GIRL NEXT WEEK. FUCKING HYPED.
What the fuck was up with all the DokiDoki OST rehashan?
But we already knew Honey was a cure.
They rehash the soundtrack every year.
Isn't that YuuYuu?
Nigga, they do this shit all the time.
They usually don't use three songs from the same show that just finished in a row
Doki was actually weird because it had a new composer. Now we're back to normal.
They always rehash the soundtrack. Especially in the earlier episodes.
He makes Bel look like a workaholic.
>oh fuck, I missed precure
It's because it's a new composer who only worked in Doki before, so they'll likely attempt to keep only his tracks around.
No way she's the main villain the entire season.
Why the CG arm?
nice gif, just short enough to post on tumblr
>Implying it's just the arm
She switches to full CG model mid-twirl.
welp the hype is dead then, gg toei
God, why are the faeries so large and ugly?
I don't blame them. The 2nd episode wasn't bad, but it was definitely less good.
>stealing Fortune's hissatsu speech wholesale
what a loser that Princess is
How can details like this get released so quickly?
This happens every year. The first episode draws large amounts of attention which then falls away. There will be another large decline in episode 3, though not quite as great.
Damn this model looks great.
Half-life reference, Toei confirmed for bros
Go back to your cancer containment board
According to the map, HaCha takes place around Hikarigaoka
That's the same location as Digimon Adventures/02
Megumi does dress like a Digimon protagonist. All she's missing is the goggles.
Go in order you faggots
So we're getting Tokyo Tower and the Fuji tv station in the background?
An angel has descended
But Honoka's not a Pink.
too fast isn't it?
Nozomi's gotten prettier since last time I saw her.
I hope the next cameo isn't a Pink so everyone spends time trying to guess who the next Cure will be. Yayoi janken 2.0.
I didn't speed it up any, though I did cut out the ending to make it fit.
>he doesn't say nothing about not-Nagisa
Kyoryuger to ToQger handoff
This show's running for a year they have room for all the girls. Even if it was just pinks they still skipped Saki.
This episode was so great because it didn't have that Cure Asshole. I hope Hime goes for the Megumi.
Queen Mirage's voice gives me a boner
Did you not pay attention to this episode? Hime is going for Megumi at about... a third of a Regina?
>Even if it was just pinks they still skipped Saki.
They must really hate Splash Star.
Just the voice?
they changed the "Kawarunrun"?
Ribbon says it during the detective transformation as part of her explanation. It was the same during the Precure transformations, I think.
I rewatched the premier and I'm glad that Cure Black still didn't have that midriff. That midriff looked really stupid on her.
You fucking heretic.
I want to charge Mirage with my happenis.
nigga u gay
Regina 2: Electric Boogaloo
They just had a female villain that lounged on couches all the time. Switch up your fucking aesthetics Toei.
Next episode description from Asahi
The Secret's Out?! The Precure's Identity Absolutely Needs to Stay Hidden!
Megumi and Hime ended up fighting together against the Saiarks.
They receive a smartphone from Blue, the so-called "Cure Line". They're overjoyed!
However, the Precure's identity absolutely needs to stay a secret.
If it gets out that they're Precures, everyone they know might be in danger!
It seems Megumi's childhood friend Seiji noticed she's hiding something from him.
Despite being the best of friends who can talk about everything, the fact she's a Precure is something she definitely cannot tell him!
The next morning, the Cure Line rings while Megumi is still asleep.
It's from Hime: "A Saiark appeared!!"
The location is apparently the Hikarigaoka Park
But wait, that's where Seiji's doing his daily morning run!
He's in danger!
Still in her pajamas, Megumi runs towards the park.
Will she be able to save him unscathed?!
>If it gets out that they're Precures, everyone they know might be in danger!
That's kind of dumb, when they announced their names and transformed right in front of the enemy.
Hime is so lickable.
I think more along the lines of cameras in their face and "Tell us more about your Precure Friends!"
Tell one person and suddenly there are news choppers following everyone you know.
I'm sorry. I don't hate midriffs. I just think that midriff made Cure Black looked like an idiot. Toei should've never put it on her when Precure was born. When Cure Bloom showed up, she made Black looked like garbage.
It's more for the safety of their loved ones and stuff.
I want to lick not-Erika salty eyebrows
I don't know, Splash Star outfits are pretty ugly.
Not that I'm complaining.
meant for >>101756751
>Still in her pajamas, Megumi runs towards the park.
Lovely is so best.
> Three known PreCures.
> Half Life Reference.
> Genbu is the name of an Inves in Gaim
> Remove n for Nichiasa
> Get Gebu
Half Life 3 confirmed.
From the preview we got for this episode, I was expecting Hime to run away alone and Megumi to finish off the Saiark herself. I was totally surprised that they ran away together, actually leaving Namakelda alone to wreak havok for longer.
Next episode looks not-shit for a Kawano ep.
Or am I being tricked by the wacky faces?
Welp, the second episode is over. It's going to start getting bad now that the toys are sold.
Well, it explains why so much of the town is moldy and such. Princess pulled these shenanigans often, and Fortune isn't always there right away.
>thing on her face, not on her head
So, one thing I'm confused about.
Is the Blue Sky Kingdom on Earth? From the pre-release stuff it seems I assumed it was on another world, but now I'm wondering if it's just "Fictional Country that's already been taken over".
Maybe it's on another world that's connected to this one. Like the Trump kingdom at the end of Doki Doki.
We knew it was on Earth. Hime's been sleeping at her country's embassy.
It might be a different kind of danger. Society is not always kind to superheros in fiction.
Why does having an embassy mean it can't not be on Earth? Fairy countries deserve embassies too.
It's another kingdom in the world that the Trump Rebublic is in.
Sorry I wasn't clear. Two seperate sentences. We knew both those things independently.
I thought the Trump Republic was in some weird-ass part of Europe.
I want to be her personal feet cleaner.
Counterpoint: Precure doujins.
If it were, magic would be known like it is in HaCha. And they wouldn't have had so much toruble getting there and back.
I'd say news agencies and stuff would notice the fuckhuge monster, even if it was in "some weird-ass part of Europe"
this guys art always gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling
Hime confirmed for Cure Joseph Joestar.
How does that makes you feel?
Joseph is best Jojo so I'm good.
Happiness at maximum.
get a feeling so complicated
Shy people don't get to criticize, Hime.
Ep3 Cure is Passion
Ep4 Cure is Moonlight
The rest are a himitsu
Spoiler that shit. Where is the fun if we already know who's gonna show up?
Fun? What's that?
The thing you didn't feel when watching Dokidoki.
>Toei skips Splash Star
>still 2 hours before ts finishes downloading
>discussion is relatively dead
Why? It feels like it's a Thursday when it's still too soon to be charged for the new episode, but you're also already discharged after having discussed the last episode for a few days.
Episode didn't leave that much to talk about it. Also, you could probably grab the ts faster from the IRC bot.
Why didn't they fix it?!
Looks fine to me. There's only so much detail you can draw at that small size.
If only I knew how to use IRC. I jumped in once, somebody tried to talk to me and I had to close everything. Never again.
>Knowledge of Cures' existence is commplace, but not knowledge of qho those indivudal Cures are
>They choose their own names
That's a very bad combination. Imagine how embarrasing it would be to proclaim "CURE LOVELY!" in front of the bad guy, and then have the fairy tell you "Someone already took that name, be more creative." You'd inevitably get xXxCureLovely117xXx running around.
>This name has already been taken!
Oh god the horror
arms are too small, legs are too long
We got this.
Most of us can't understand the episode.
You just enter the channel, paste the command you got from the packlist site and your IRC client should ask to download the file.
Seems like it's not up on the IRC yet but learning how to use IRC should prove useful in the future. Not that important though.
Even if you don't know a lick of Japanese, the situations and the dialogues can be made up in your head and 80% of the time it's accurate.
>somebody tried to talk to me
That's what /ignore is for.
There wasn't much going on, really. Despite the couple of minutes of exposition, it was nothing you couldn't understand from watching the screen and reading the livewatch reactions.
Except this episode was very exposition heavy.
You can't imagine plot-important stuff.
Blue: Everything is bad around the world. The bad guys came out of a chest. Fight as Precure.
Evil guy in mirror: Defeat the Precure and be evil somewhere.
I liked when Hime blushed while holding Megumi's hands but I'm only going to rewatch this episode once instead of 3 times.
You just don't understand Toei perspective and korean shin/leg proportions.
It really wasn't. They talked a lot, but said very little. Most of it was stuff we already knew from leaks / previews. The Terribads are invading all over the world, their lead by Queen Mirage, Blue is a god, blah blah blah. The only new piece of info was that the villains were sealed evil in a can.
That might have been how Hime fucked up, actually. Maybe she opened the box accidentally or for some reason.
Where is this model from?
>one of Lovely's attacks is called Heart Destruction
Eat your Heart out, Mana.
No game or anything?
So, Hime was the one who opened the box and released the villains.
It would explain her lack of confidence and Fortune being harsh on her.
...Assuming of course that box was actually a box and not just a visual cue.
Megumi is such a heartbreaker
Mana never broke any hearts, that's how she ended up with a harem.
Megumi is headed for Canon Romancetown.
It's especially the face that bugs me personally.
Also, it's been confirmed Toei draws at 1600x900.
Too small my ass
It's probably used in some software or other. Maybe an iOS app. Maybe the Wii game. I'm sure they have one model per Cure that they reuse as much as possible with as few modifications as possible.
>I don't even know this girl
Precure power creep is real.
More realistically, Lovely would be the one eating Heart out.
These are just for the app as far as I've seen.
>Megumi is headed for Canon Romancetown.
Not happening, no matter how much you wish for it.
YOU CAN'T BREAK THIS SHIELD JACK.
If they drew Lovely's face with all that detail, but at the same size, the thick lines would start crossing and it would look gross.
>time to add her to my harem
>Rikka we got someon--- Oh, hello blue hair.
>Rikka, you're being replaced!
Not any grosser than it looks right now.
Is this supposed to be Queen Mirage?
More like Cure Mirage
Friend-NTR is almost as good. Megumi is going to teach Hime to be a friend-slut.
she looks like a pokemon gym leader
She looks like a Pokemon gym leader.
Cure Queen of the Green Sky.
The champion and the Elite 4
Cure Sunny !!!!!!!
It's weird how they changed the Kawarunrun to be more subdued this episode.
Forget Sunny, SHF SAILOR SATURN CONFIRMED
Sure, but SAILOR SATURN BRO
>new SM anime is in development hell
Seriously, what is up with redhead
...Can't argue with that.
Ugh, why can't they keep things simple? That show is going have way too many characters in too little time and bomb because of it.
Two timing slut
Don't you mean
Saturn was boring
Was Queen Mirage taking orders/advise from the guy in the mirror?
Doesn't that make her just another general?
Duh, she's too cute to be the mastermind. That's Precure law.
She was summoning the mirror à la snow white
More like the head general like in Suite
Did they replace her? I can't tell because arr chinks rook same.
She'll be a sentai Pink once she's too old for this
Love Guitar Rod cm, too.
It's just a ruse to cash in on figure reissues.
Pretty elaborate ruse though, because it has staff assigned to it that hasn't been doing anything for over a year.
Yes, they're very thorough in keeping the ruse alive.
It began before the first episode aired.
She's probably the designated commander of the invasion force.
you will never star in Precure toy ads
The dude in the mirror is Blue.
Was she really? I don't remember exactly what was said. Wasn't she in charge? I thought she summoned the mirror, heard its report, and then issued new orders (focus on offing the Cures).
Deep Mirror is this guy
The mirror is like Siri, form what I could tell. Or Google Now. It just gave information, not orders. Stuff like "A new Precure appeared, her name is Cure Lovely." Mirage gave the orders.
Call me when they get Sord
What's with the surveys on NicoNico?
Yeah, you bet it is, why would you interrupt my video for this? I skipped all the questions without reading, that's a very intrusive way to get people to reply.
Second time I get this, too.
That fact is getting pretty annoying now.
>Missing the livewatch because faggots had to have their sinks changed and their hottubs deactivated and taken away in pieces
Don't worry, it was shit anyway.
Don't worry, it was great/10.
You'll get more from it once subs are out.
This one is my personal favourite. X2444
What the fuck happened?
I want to fill her with my honey.
Is that Diamond prototype behind Sunny?
I don't know, but I like it.
Toei cut corners? I don't know. I kind of miss when hair was more detailed.
> He thinks GoGo ever actually looked like that
Simpler designs generally make for better animation.
Although I personally dislike hair being all shiny like that. I think it's gone a bit too far over the norm.
I'll gladly get rid of that in favor of not looking as QUALITY as yes 5.
Considering it's like 5 seconds of animation done by the original artist, no surprise it looks better.
>they forgot to credit Nagisa last week
>but credited Nozomi
It was a 5 second cameo. Even the background Precures had more screentime in the movies then her, there was no point in crediting.
It may not look as QUALITY as Yes!5, but it's really near it. Even the OP and stock footage have issues.
Not that I'm complaining, Fresh and Yes!5 are some of my favorite season, but still.
More episodes than there are Cures, don't be surprised if she shows up again.
If they credit the guy who goes "AKANBE!!1111" all day they might as well credits fucking cures
>More episodes than there are Cures
33 Cures not counting charges.
Go back to elementary anon.
Art style reminds me of Heartcatch. I'm not complaining about lack of details or anything. If anything I'm happy it's tone down.
This way when they REALLY have to cut corners it would be easier to hide it and not have to cut of an arm or leg.
There are ~50 episodes in a season, depending on breaks.
>This way when they REALLY have to cut corners it would be easier to hide it and not have to cut of an arm or leg.
Did they have some other VA do Nagisa?
No, of course not. Japan would riot.
They have 10 fingers and no missing limbs. Good enough for me.
Yes, more EPISODES than there are CURES. Number of episodes > number of Cures.
I don't understand why this is so rushed. Toei has a couple of years to get things ready before it starts airing.
What's wrong here?
more like couple of weeks
Don't worry your pretty little head over it. You're better off this way.
I really hope you're the same stubborn guy and there aren't multiple people stupid enough to think that Toei works on shows years in advance.
>More episodes than there are Cures
Gee I hope so. Otherwise it would suck if there was only 3 episodes this season.
I blame the animator in charge of the episode.
It's not even Kawano time yet!
Still no colored Suites ;_;
Take the stick out of your ass, we're talking about Cures from previous seasons.
If his time is the next episode, I'll welcome him. There's something about his episodes that I enjoy, little-girl-crayon-drawings quality notwithstanding.
It is next episode.
Where are my Precure novels? I needs to see some Kawano-tier QUALITY prose, Toei.
Not years, more like months. I'm sure, like live action shows, it's filmed ahead of time for a few episodes and then while the episodes are running they would film the rest. It's probably rushed since Toei has about hundreds of other projects to work on at the same time so I doubt they have enough time to worry about every second of a frame.
Doremi 16 style?
Fresh remakes where?
Their eyes looke a bit off and dead. Cure princess isn't even look at Cure lovely and cure lovely is staring into space.
At least, that's all i can see at first glance.
Oh I don't mean animation, but planning. Pre-production takes a long time, and they have no excuse for fucking up scheduling like this. Toei has been working in this sort of fashion for literally decades.
Amazing. Split fist technique.
Hime's seen some serious shit.
It must be his fault.
He's the final boss. Called it.
That fucking bastards. First Kamen rider, then Sentais and now Precures. How far will this monster go....
Even pre-production isn't done years in advance. At a year in advance you'd have the general themes/direction for a story, but not the designs, staff, or script, or even proper toys. How do you design a cheap tablet toy before tablets are a big thing.
Precure's spiritual sucessor will still be affected by the fallout of his actions.
Implying precure will end
>How do you design a cheap tablet toy before tablets are a big thing.
>No, this does not charge my happiness
>Does this looks like the face of mercy?
No sane person claims that they produce it few years before. But planning does start at least 2 years in advance. They need to write the whole thing, every episode, before production. They need to design toys and start producing them.
I was under the impression with pre-productions along with story is designs and script. Toys usual come out a little later after the show airs, similar to music and whatnot. It's much harder having to design a good toy product then mass produce it.
You mean to tell me they already have a script for the next season down already?
You fool, that's not true happiness discharge! She's trying to bait Megumi into a hug!
>They need to write the whole thing, every episode, before production.
Hah, not at all. They just draft the story and main plot arcs, but the rest is literally done as it goes. Even in Kamen Rider, Urobuchi revealed he is writing one episode a week, while in production. Which is necessary since they need to change the story quickly if they see it is failing to entice viewers.
How would they start 2 years in advance if a new season of the show comes out every year? It would mean right when Dokidoki is in production, HappinessCharge is being planned. If you said a year that would make sense but two year in advance for a show that starts a new season yearly is just stupid.
That's the Hollywood model, where they get all the details before putting money into a movie. Not even Western tv does that though, filming often ends while the show is in the middle of airing.
Don't forget what happen with Hibiki after they booted Takadera. Not all the shows are scripted and filmed from episode 1 to the finale. At most it is the first few episodes to give the people a breather and enough time to get the rest as they go.
Look at the info about new anime in production. We often get news that production started a year or more in advance. And that's the official announcement, basic stages start even earlier.
It's probably a bit different for big yearly franchises like PreCure, but the most basic stuff like early designs and general theme are definitely in planning a year or two before show starts.
How much "failing to entice viewers" does it take to get a retool? Cause I didn't see Doki getting one.
My sides split and I've peed my pants.
Doki reeks of second half retooling. Though as an example, Splash Star had its writer fired by episode 16 or so, and replaced with Narita of Yes 5 fame.
I love how the original series attacks had some real kick behind them.
Doki's beams were a joke in comparison.
We'll see how HaCha does it, but the fact they have a couple of attacks already by Ep2 sure is promising.
>Doki reeks of second half retooling.
You can't say something like this without explaining why.
Yes, early planning. However, animation really is left for last, and they have a tight schedule. You even see changes from the preview to the final episode sometimes. The argument is how much time they have to animate, and it's not much.
Doki was surprisingly like Smile with how poorly it handled fighting.
Is it terrible?
Easily not as good as the show, from what I've heard.
>Doki reeks of second half retooling
Nope. The Ace tweest was always planned. Nothing after that feels like if they rushed changes due to ratings.
The first half is plot train through and through, with almost no specific character episodes. Regina was taken out, and new villains were brought out of nowhere. Then, second half is more episodic, has specific character episodes, plot comes to a halt in exchange of TOYS TOYS LOOK AT THIS TABLET BUY IT DAMMIT and then when that didn't work, they backpedalled and brought Regina back earlier than needed because people were tired of waiting for her. Meandered for weeks trying to make her good again to pad out the time they didn't plan for, and meekly tried to make her relevant in the final fight as a cure equivalent, but not really.
Threads sure slowed down since last week.
Animes and yearly seasonal shows I would have to say is different. For normal animes they have much more time to work on before it start so it's justified if they say it took them say 2 years of planning and scripting. But for shows that come out every 1 year there's not enough time for them to plan two year ahead since that would be the same time when they work on the season of that year. Meaning if you said HappinessCharge was started 2 years in advance, then that would mean they were working on it at the same year as Dokidoki was still being scripted out.
Unless this was looped back all the way to Futari, meaning before Futari even started they already made sequals, it doesn't make any sense.
I would believe it if you said the planning started last year, somewhere in the middle of Dokidoki then yes, i would believe it. They do that for kamen rider too. When Wizard was at it's middle they leeked info and ideas for the next year's riders.
HaCha killed precure. It's over.
People with high expectations got crushed.
>almost no character specific episodes
Seriously? Most of the show is character episodes. They had a pattern going with each character getting one then PLOT repeat for almost the entire show.
As far as 'retooling' goes, I'll admit that probably everything revolving Regina in the second half must've been retooled. For all we know, they probably would've killed her or sent her away.
My high expectations were not crushed. The episode pretty much went as I expected it to.
I got exactly what I expected, except Hime actually took Megumi with her when running. I don't know what you all were hoping for.
The character introduction episodes are a given, but after that you can't really call them character episodes. In the chart with the ratings for all seasons, you can see that Smile is multicolored because they feature a character each episode. Doki's is blank mostly since it's just general plot.
I'd say we are pretty much at regular cruise speed right now, especially if you considered that threads went by fast only due to people bashing Smile and Doki most of the time (before HaCha). And of course last week was episode 1 of the anniversary series, so yeah, a slow down was to be expected.
Everything is fine.
>Megumi and Hime hand holding and blushing
>Meaning if you said HappinessCharge was started 2 years in advance, then that would mean they were working on it at the same year as Dokidoki was still being scripted out.
Not just that, you would need to have 3 teams, all working on top of one another. HaCha being started while Doki is being scripted while Smile is animated.
Most animators only have about a week tops to finish the next episode. I don't think they get paid enough or have enough fucks to give to stress every little frame. They save that shit for blu-ray and HD collector's addition DVDs when they get 10 cents more then usual. I'll bet not even having enough time to sleep or go home is another cause.
>except Hime actually took Megumi with her when running
Cure Joseph Joestar was a half-joke, but I'm sure most were pleased by that development. The only thing I didn't expect was the detective costume being a freebie.
So you don't consider the crystal episodes character ones? Okay. I'm too tired and incompetent to argue this.
A steady thread is better then one that sage and dies within an hour. Be easier to discuss if there was something to discuss about.
Did the subs even come out yet?
Speaking of discussion, the reason threads slowed down was because we pretty much ran out of shit to speculate about. We already have a theory for everything and even a betting pool for the next Cure cameo. Broken clock be damned, we're efficient.
YuuYuu befriending Fortune with candy when?
No but that didn't really affect thread speed, at least before HaCha.
Most /pc/ permanent residents probably watch live, and I'd bet they are the ones who bring forth discussion, since you need to have watched every season to debate properly here, and when you watch every season you're too far down the madness spiral to get out anyways.
I don't understand a lick of moon and hate watching raws cause it spoils it for me. It'll be like watching a show with the sound muted then rewatching it again. Takes away the thrills for me.
Why did they change the kawarunun?
For what? the detective transformation or the normal one?
Learn moonrunes anon. You might not be able to watch Sentai or KR anytime soon, but precure Nipponese is very very simple. It's easier than other shows for little girls such as Jewelpet etc.
If you have free time, give it a try.
I don't understand fuckall of chink either, but I still watch it live. Besides, it's easy to know what they're saying half of the time based on expressions, the scenes, and voice tones. Also moon speakers will post about stuff and clarify some things on the threads, so it's not like you'd be completely lost. And I personally love rewatching stuff.
No idea, but I think the first one was better.
>Learn moonrunes anon.
If it was half as easy as it sounds I would do it. Understanding the basics is one thing but being able to understand every thing being tossed at you and whatnot while try to keep up while being a filthy gaijin is hard, precure or no precure.
>their faces when Dissonance
That's a good thing. We're off the crazy levels of hype train.
I'm surprised more people aren't commenting on the hand to hand stuff like Megumi going in for Rider Kick and then getting punched out of the air. That was kind of unintentionally funny
The only reason you can't into Japanese yet is that whiny I-can't-do-it attitude.
Well yeah, it is the most difficult language to learn based on research data and stuff (For English speakers), but most people aren't as immersed in "Japanese stuff" as the average /a/non. Personally, I hear more Japanese every day than English, and hear/read more English than my native language. I realize I may be an extreme case, but really, having such a huge amount of media that you like in a language that you want to learn is an advantage most people can only wish they had. It makes learning that much easier.
It's because I'm just a filthy gaijin. I will never be able to understand enough Niponese to get me through a single episode.
I haven't done a lick of studying on moon apart from watching subbed anime, and yet I can understand about 60% of what is said in precure. It's not a hard show to understand.
I really need to get to actually learning the fucking language though.
I knew his voice was familiar.
Four hours ago.
So does seiji know the hime and megumi being cure?
>[Shimakaze] Happiness Charge Precure! - 02 [04C52B47].mkv
No, which is why Megumi and Hime are freaking out next episode.
I still like how all the Smiles immediately recognized each other as Cures.
so... is anyone game enough to have a look into this Shimakaze sub of episode 2, I'm not sure if it's legit or joke.
Fuck this gay earth.
Not yet. But probably his sister told him.
Oh, thank god.
We're free from Doremi.
I'm actually pretty concerned about Mao. She woke up all alone by the river, and as we know the victims retain memories of being trapped. Just imagine how she felt waking up all alone, several hours later.
>She woke up all alone by the river
Surely they would've done the "I'm a Precure and I just saved your ass. Keep your nose clean, citizen!" routine like Fortune does.
I don't even know who or what the fuck is that.
>I don't want to sound mean but I'm going to sound mean.
>Every single one of you missed the point. No, the point was not to have all the dialogue be obtuse and wordy. That would've been trivially easy. I even made it completely obvious with the manifesto about the Norman invasion and the sullying of the English tongue. In the Seaside release, good guys spoke Anglish (English with only words that are Germanic in origin, though I had to make exceptions for proper nouns and "pose" in the preview), while the bad guys used as many non-Germanic "foreign" words as much as possible (as in every noun, verb, and adjective except one use of "eye"). The point was to look like a xenophobic nationalist by being like "hey, look how silly and unintelligible the bad guys sound because they're using all these French/Latin/Greek words and look at how much nicer our heroines' pure speech is"). But no, you wouldn't know the difference between a Germanic word and a Latin-sourced word if it dragged you through a printing press.
>I feel so silly having to spell this out explicitly. Plebs, all of you.
No clue, but it seems fine.
Seaside and Shimakaze are completely independent, by the way.
Am I the only one who think that Joe was supposed to be Mana's hetero love interest instead of that background filler-kun?
No thanks. I'm going to wait on LPHP/Doremi.
Feeling the same after reading >>101772436
That is some rectal ravaging right there, folks. Who is he even bitching at?
Personally, I want to believe that a lot of people were meant to be developed better, and maybe Joe could've been more relevant, but shit happened.
That's seaside being mad that people didn't get the joke.
I noticed some difference in the way the cures spoke compared to the villains, but I'm not a european linguist.
He might have been intended to be aged-up Aguri/Reginas love interest, but as it stands he was way too old.
>studied Latin and Greek at school
>know tons of obscure English words most native speakers can't even guess the meaning of
Thanks school system, I knew there was a reason behind your methods. Now I can fully enjoy Precure subs that I don't even need, in a language that isn't even my native one.
Is it bad that I'm hoping for some romance between Seiji and Megumi? Although I'm just as fine with Megumi and Hime getting together, there's that little part of me that wants to see some heretic romance between a boy and a girl.
>some heretic romance between a boy and a girl
Well, I'm here hoping for a Yes 5 tier romance with Seiji and one of the Cures, although I'll be fucked to know if he's even going to be relevant enough or even be another secret keeper at all.
Real subs? And Doremi-free? Thanks Kami Blue Sama.
I want Blue to fuck Hime.
I also want Fortune and Lovely to fuck Hime.
Yeah but the thing is:
Who the fuck is Seaside
Where is this joke we're supposedly not getting
Why do they care we don't get it
What the fuck has that got to do with Precure?
It just seems like they've attached a random insane rant to the release notes.
There were joke subs released of the first episode of HaCha under the group Seaside.
I was thinking more just Seiji and Megumi since the two already got a pretty steady romance possible backstory set up, more or less. It would be fun to see them fall in love, the breaking up due to her being a Cure and it all just come tumbling down tumbling down tumbling dooowwwnnnn. But, this is precure so I'm not holding my breath for it.
>Is it bad
Yes. Pic related
Oh hey, an excuse to watch the first episode again for like the fifth time.
No, I'd like to see a little of it as well, if only for Toei to show they still can when they feel like it.
Pic related should go and neck herself.
>Is it bad
Why would that be bad? That would only be bad if it was written poorly
Anyway, I would love to see something at the level of Yes 5 or even classic mahou shojo where it felt like a natural part of the story but I don't know if I can trust Toei to be that level of decent when it comes to romantic plotlines so I'll just have to see.
Seiji beating up mooks is cool though.
I'd prefer Seiji and Hime. Then you can have Hime thinking he likes Megumi, Seiji thinking Megumi likes him, and Seiji and Hime having mutual feelings. Throw in Fortune liking Seiji or Yuu-Yuu having one-sided feelings for Megumi and you've got a great Okada plot. This shit writes itself.
Current wave of mahou shoujo needs the girls to be asexual as possible so fans can get their subtext fill.
This is Toei. What you mean is "you've got a great Inoue plot".
There is nothing to imply that Seiji would think Megumi likes him so far. It would feel forced after years of friendship.
Hang on, I'm looking for the part where I'm supposed to care about big friends
>It would feel forced after years of friendship.
But that's when romantic feelings start to form. At least that's what anime tells me.
Whenever I watch shows where the cast is mostly females and males are more backgrounds it feels weird to see one of the girls have any romantic relationships. A good example would be love lab where the romance later in with the males just felt really fucking weird.
Anime also tells you that childhood friend loses most of the time, so can you really trust it?
Unless Seiji admits he's the one who likes Megumi first, it'll be pretty awkward. If Megumi is the one to fall in love with him I could tell the boy would use the "I see you as a sister" card and it'll go all downhill from there.
>I see you as a sister
Has that ever happened?
Correction, that's for the FEMALE friend in a harem. Megumi being a main character and Seiji not being in a harem makes it possible.
He also appeared in episode one as the only other male, so he's got a chance. If we don't count Hime anyway.
Depends on how the writer is feeling that day
>A good example would be love lab where the romance later in with the males just felt really fucking weird.
>The show is literally about them trying to get boyfriends from the plot description
Love Lab is the last example I would use. Better example would be like Mai-Hime or something
And the reason it feels weird to you is because of years of conditioning on otaku anime probably.
Yeah, it usually happen alot when it's the female that confess to a male childhood friend. The male always say I see you as a sister or close friend and don't want to break that relationship.
Well I've seen it happen with characters who are their actual family or otherwise significantly younger than them
All this het talk is making me woozy.
>The show is literally about them trying to get boyfriends from the plot description
It had a pretty thick yuri vibe. Even with a name and plot description like that it still feels awkward to see Jan and the other kid getting together with the girls.
As long as it's not going nowhere, doesn't end with "I won't tell!", or doesn't have the romantic hints shoved into the movie, I'm fine with it.
I know. After a year of Doki and Mana harem it's almost like this is a completely new sensation for us. What if Precure threads had been active when Y5 was airing?
(Actually, we'd probably all be saying how much better Coco is than Mai's brother)
Yes, it may have had the 'vibe' but still it is in the very plot description. It's not like you went into it saying "oh I guess I'll watch this anime about girls trying to get boyfriends because man, this sure looks like that won't be important at all."
What? Did they make the Cures speak Anglish? I don't know how any of this is relevant.
That face still haunts my nightmares
Just ignore it. It's just drama
Apparently when Seaside subbed the first episode. Not sure about Shimakaze.
>not enjoying shitty sub group drama
Anon what are you doing?
We're better than this.
Stupid sexy squirrels.
Why would I enjoy that? It's stupid.
Friendly reminder that dead people turn into fairies in Dokiverse.
Just like in real life.
Hime x Seiji OTP
Imagine her SOSOSOSOSO'ing when he tells her he likes her. It will be too cute.
Man, I just realized even the real boss is probably going to be Dune-tier bishie.
What happened here?
Some /u residents freak out seiji will be the focus in next episode and they bitching here?
Fine by me, I was getting tired of super-monstrous final bosses anyway.
I thought they got flushed out after Doki's finale. Anyways, no. If anything, we're calmly discussing if he's going to be relevant at all and what will Toei do with him in terms of romance.
No, in real life we turn into Youkai and go to Gensokyou.
I can't wait.
I'd like them to, but I doubt it. Not with the current tone the show has.
They could do romance with any of them bar HC, I'd say. Romance in Heartcatch or HappChar would just be awkward.
No, most people seem to welcome the idea of Seiji becoming a target romance for one of the Cures. It would make for an interesting story.
No, I like to think we're not all that crazy
Human sized bosses are the best
Got flushed by what? I'm not following /u/ threads, so please explain.
Think about the implications. Does this mean that Davi was Makoto's mom? And the little fairies were children who died during KJ invasion?
I don't. I just want little girls beating the shit out of monster-of-the-weeks. No more, no less.
You'll get that, but that's just the main dish. Seeing the girls act like people and their daily lives as secret magical warriors is part of the fun. But I'd only take romance if it was well done, so having a bit of hope helps.
Just finished the Shimakaze release. It's good for a speedsub, and good as a sub in general. I think I saw one typo, though.
Yep, that's a befriending flag.
Y5 had it though and executed it well.
Except for with Rin, but nobody loves Rin
Yeah, I love when the final battle is just another dude like you ust way stronger.
Also, I FINALLY FOUND THE PIC I WAS LOOKING FOR!
I'm still mostly amused by this 'sub race' thing. LPHH aiding Doremi, Commie considering picking it up but still releasing raws anyway, Seaside and Shimakaze. The least I mention CureCom, the better. I'm not sure how to feel and I lack the appropiate reaction image for this abstract amusement I have.
What did they do?
I remember you!
The more they compete against each other, the better. Consumers are the real winners.
Not much they're still at ep 18 of Doki
So Smile is Milky Holmes?
Yes. Yes it is
Time to go to bed.
More Erika gifs. She is my fave.
>that guy's head bobbing up and down forever
This is a Marine gif, but that's pretty close.
Do you have the one where she and her friends went to watch her sister's photo shoot and were standing near the cameras poking her and playing together? It was cute as hell.
>it's this late already
>Someone else posted my wave
No, but I do have this. It's somewhat related at least.
Don't think I do but I do have one of Tsubomi butt punching a camera
Yeah. Dune was a shit, but he had a cool fights going for him and I liked how he was a shota at first, but became older and more monstrous the more he fought.
Just mindless monster beat down gets boring after awhile. I love to see them fight and take down the monster of the week as much as the next person but it'll be good if there was some story or whatnot along with it. They practically set up a pretty good romance between the two, as well as a great plot device.
If there was romance between Seiji and Megumi or whatever that could be used as a great plot if one of them turn each other down. If Seiji turn Megumi down they could do a few episode of her breaking down and having the enemies take advantage of that or whatnot. If It's the otherway they can create somesort of super monster from Seiji. There's alot of material here that can be used. That and a little romance would be cute, although I'd be happy even if it's Megumi x Hime.
Pfft, /u/ people don't really are like that.
They can like male characters in precure.
/u/ only does care about based yuri, and doesn't waste it's time on bitching.
/u/ isn't like fucking Robihno, ya know?
>/u/ people don't really are like that
Some are. That's enough for me to lump them all under the same category and bitch about them as if they were a hivemind. It's the 4chan way after all.
>[Commie] Happiness Charge Precure! - 01 [4D0248CB].mkv
Whats the best sub group right now?
Where the hell is Megumi staring? Hime is about an inch shorter then her yet she's looking straight ahead.
Download all of them. Watch all of them. And also download the troll subs timed for Doremi's release and watch them too.
Why is HIme so short?
Yeah, being Rin is sufferni'
Megumi is just tall. And isn't she older than Hime?
Were they funny? Anyone have any gems?
>isn't she older than Hime?
Wouldn't that mean she'd get stuck in a different class than Megumi's? That'd be interesting to see.
I just think that the romance would be very forced and awkward based on the current feel the show's going for right now.
My 2 cents
I mean, I don't know. Hime looks pretty young compare to Megumi so I'm just speculating. Although it seems they're the same size as Cures.
When will the Kancolle shit end?
At this point I'm tempted to make a joke about Megumi needing to slavsquat to be at Hime's height, but I can't sell myself short.
Might be a little but it's got a good establishment right now. As long as Seiji hangs around the show and maybe by Megumi gradually it'll work it's way in, as long as he's the one who feels he's in love with her. Not saying it's needed but it would be a wasted opportunity for sure.
The anime hasn't even aired yet, you better buckle up.
Dream a cute.
> Happiness is fleeting--love an illusion...
Dammit Blue, this is what happens when you don't treat your woman right.
Shimakaze subs are alright it seems.
A bit liberal in some places, a bit stiff in others.
Aoki no arpeggio intensified Kantai so...it'll take a while before it blow over but I'm seeing it less on /a/. But I'd doubt it'll be anytime soon that's for sure, maybe in 2 or so more years the hype will die down but for now you'll have to deal with seeing Sakura Ayane's star role everywhere.
So are Mezashite/Shimakaze subs any good?
Shimakaze > Doremi
Nah, about equal level of shit
> Ayane Sakura
Oh wow, I just realized that she's been doing VA work for three years now. Time flies.
Are they really that bad?
Doremi slightly > Shimakaze
I really dislike localization in my translations.
I'm not to picking when it comes to Subs. As long as they don't fuck around and translate everything wrong or make it a joke I'm fine with it. I just need to know the basics of whats going on when they speak.
Doremi pls go
I don't know. I'm just bitter that they care more for ST than Aikatsu!.
Not that ST is a bad show. It's one of the few shows I'm watching this season.
no it's just a pubraw
okay, got me there
I'm a bit bitter too, but I stopped caring for ST and Aikatsu since weeks ago.
Yeah, she's finally getting some pretty good roles rather then just being a background extra voice. I don't care for Kancolle but it really set her a place that's for sure. Although, it's been 4 years. She just turn 20 like, 2 weeks ago.
A pubraw has better encoding than the monstrosity LPHH made last week.
The kissing lesbians show. You should know this
Sakura Trick, /u/: the anime, DEEN saving/killing anime, and a whole array of colorful names for it.
I'm pretty sure he admitted that was a mistake and this week would be better
Are they going to show any of the other Cures, like Cure Mint, or is it going to be just all the leader (Pink)Cures? If so, that'll suck. Especially since White's been shoved aside yet Black got a Cameo.
No it doesn't.
There's black bars on the sides and the whole thing runs at 30 fps which means there's visible stutter during the ending and transformation sequences. It's bad.
And you're going to believe him, that fiend!
I think it's just we had some really bad blood with /u/ a couple of times last season
They said they are using all 33 Cures
They stated the number of Cures (minus one if you count Echo) when announcing that they'd be doing these introductions.
I hope they're also using the fairies.
I've thought about dropping Aikatsu because I'm not having as much fun watching it as I did during S1, but I'm worried S3 will be SS-tier amazing and then I'll have to marathon what I dropped because autism.
That said, subbing ST feels like a popularity contest and it's a bit annoying.
So they're just going to be in random order? That's not too bad then.
They're going by Pink order right now
As it is, I feel like history repeats itself and Aikatsu really is following the Precure path. Still, I'll be back someday. Maybe marathon it because I don't see myself going back soon.
They could probably use them after they run out of Cures. Then for the final episode they could just have everyone on screen or something.
Anyway, ep3 is Passion and ep4 is Moonlight
But they missed the salty eyebrows
Passion and Moonlight?
Aikatsu always sound like more of a product placement show to me, like Yugioh or something. I don't understand whats it about and it seems to be running for a while.
Is it going to go the Precure path and have new characters take over? Or is it going to just be another season with the same girls.
Damn Toei not caring about Splashstar
Can't recall such a character.
Maybe not so much Precure's path, more like Ojamajo Doremi's path and add new seasons and characters as they go, as well as new stuff to do. Since it's product placement, it depends on what the games offer. Of course, they have arcade games, so making games with new characters and disregarding the old ones seems almost impossible, unless the old ones make cameos or are demoted to secondary characters. Even the regulars at the thread don't know what to expect. I'm scared myself, really.
I'm guessing they're probably counter her as yellow or something.
They did that one. Toppest of keks.
