>Some totally support character that is usually left out of the powerlevel battles
>Sacrificing himself for the greater good
>Character is dead
>keeps on fighting powered by sheer will
>Limited powers being used in a new way to win instead of just having their limits removed
>character usually just for jokes
>gets serious moment and does something badass
>disappears in episode 3
>reappears in episode 22
>you thought that you had already been introduced to the best girl
>15 episodes in, and three more best girls are introduced
>why is this show so based?
I think you meant to post a picture from DAL
>Edgy boy has an older sister who can effortlessly break their guard
> Socially awkward girls
> Interacting with normal people
But they introduced Yoshino early in the story.
All the other girls are great and whatnot, but she's 2cute
I liked how he mimicked Mr. Mohawk's habit of talking in lists of two.
>plump but not fat
>is not an annoying retard
>Story about to end
>This is just the begining of real shit
It's over /a/
Anime is over
I think you need to get your eyes checked.
>MC loses but still resurfaces on his own and not friend powers
BASED TASTE: Flirty Christmas Cake Relatives
but kaiji needed everyone's money to win and shit, and to win at the stupid as fuck pachinko game, he borrowed money from everyone. you can hardly call that "resurfaces on his own"
Are you me?
Only my fantasies.
>support characters who take clean of all the shit
>Not jobbing like a bitch
Pick 1 and 3
When that dense piece of shit called harem MC finally realizes his true love was always there for him.
Still his own plan, his own merit, his own intelligence. And I'm not talking only about Kaiji.
>voice actor getting so into the evil laugh that people in the studio are like "fuck son, calm down"
>MC is actually alpha and is just a sadistic cunt who ignores his true love on purpose for amusement
Did that ever happen?
That's very broad. I want to agree with you but I don't know what you mean, really.
When the MC has to actually train to become more powerful, like Ippo.
Hagure Yuusha no Estetica. Second season never.
I know right. Especially when he posts a female MC.
>not retarded, always
He totally sacrificed himself
But he sucked so badly that his sacrifice was meaningless
>character is weak and doesn't know how to fight
>actually trains to get badass, not just magically becomes badass.
Wow what a sacrifice
I meant that annoying is pretty subjective.
Sailor Moon MC for instance.
>Character just stand around with an awesome pose before a battle
>Things work out exactly as planned(plan has to be stated beforehand)
>dies and/or is a criminal
>are actually good guys
I thought OPM was just bullshitting about his training routine and was secretly always strong, or had a god bless him or something. Never been so happy to be proven wrong by a flashback. He actually was weak and actually trained.
Be careful with that razor
I know I'm going to get blasted for this, but this is one of the good things about Naruto. They handled the training arcs well.
>Best girl wins
>not wanting realism in anime
And he was able to defeat monsters even back then with GUTS and improvised weaponry.
>They handled the training arcs well.
I bet you liked Bleach training arcs
>ignoring the fact he has the fox shit
It's not even close to what I posted.
Someone who died long before the show "started" is still a very important character to the story
Nah. I don't like Bleach.
You don't even know what you're saying, do you?
>MC defeats opponents mainly with his wits
Saying edge on 4chan is the one sure way to get hundreds of reaction images with vague expressions and >Implying, I try to avoid using it
Man, I love Usopp.
>is a villain
elite seiyuus voicing random one-shot characters
Characters like Touma or Shirou that don't care about their own safety as long as they can save others. I'm a sucker for that kind of shit.
You mean you like it when there is a good reason, right? Touma literally has brain damage and Shirou has survivor guilt.
>highschool girl banchou
>Girls liking girls
>A show with multiple girls, MC is the only guy
>Thought to be a haremshit
>It isn't, only main girl loves MC, other girls either didn't care or help main girl
I don't care about their reason, I just think it's awesome when somebody will disregard everything else to help innocent people.
What is.. Nothing?
>being retarded enough to care about "innocent" people
But why? Why do those characters care if some assholes or bitches die? It's annoying.
Fuck, practically everyone from that show.
>Main bad dude isn't just a huge fucking dick but actually a pretty nice guy with interesting development
>bro tier comradery found in sports anime
>Season 6 OP is a different version of the season 1 OP
>MC trusts in his friends and the bonds between them.
>His entire squad is killed in action, and the mission fails.
It's called not being a sociopath. What the fuck is the matter with you?
>First bad turns into second good
>sees idols on TV
>makes it happen like a boss
This kind of character.
That's not why he saves people - he saves people because his earliest memory is of Kiritsugu saving him, and to Shirou, Kerry looked like the happiest man in the world at that moment.
Shirou's just selfishly trying to attain the happiness Kiritsugu had when he saved him. By coincidence (Nasu's favourite thing), saving people happens to match up well with common morality, so Shirou looks the part of a hero.
Why didn't he just headbutt it?
It gets old pretty fast
Not to me.
>the best character in the show is the villain.
>violent/crazy dudes with little girl by their side
>character in a series with fights is weak as shit or has severe disadvantages most in the scenario don't
>has some wild card broken as fuck power that keeps him in it
But she is. Maybe not retard, but annoying skank.
>Bro motivational speeches.
I fucking love them.
Didn't the little girl from s cry ed end healing the hearts of both main characters?
Smug bitch with a facade. She wasn't the worst of the worst but the show being garbage didn't help me liking her at all.
Reel a little faster, I think I can see one swimming for your hook!
>MC uses his unusual power in new ways to defeat opponents
it's always sad when Shonen series run out of ideas and just turn into powerlevels
Thats about it
>episode ends with something dramatic like a character's death
>final line is just someone screaming really loud
It doesn't always work, but sometimes a seiyuu will really nail that scream, and it'll give me chills.
That's why sports are the best. Let me fucking comment again already
Mx0 was built on this, with the twist that MC didn't have powers to begin with.
I miss decent manga.
That sounds like Ueki in the early episodes.
>Kaji Yuki voicing a terrified character
He's not only amazing at his job but also cute. Probably the most underrated VA on /a/, but I bet you guys are just jelly.
I just started watching this, and I never really noticed how good Kaji was until I started.
>annoying MC dies
>cool guy takes over MC role
>MC dies for a good cause but is known by almost all of the others as a villain
This is actually accurate if it can be well crafted
>guy goes into a losing battle and dies or gets the shit kicked out of him when he could have run or stayed down
RIP in peace Lelouch.
Major was fucking awesome, man
anything that reminds me of the Deutschland.
Looking at you, FMA and AOT.
Ueki died for me when the celestial weapons were introduced
I didn't even realize that I loved this until you mentioned it.
>implying it wasn't just master trole
>implying he's not a cart driver
>implying he doesn't eat pizza and fuck C.C. everyday
>Smooth transistion between the episode and ED
Kyoukai no Kanata and Log Horizon are AOTS faglords.
>Character puts own life on the line to save someone he/she loves
>Character that is always cool and rational goes apeshit berserk
A thread about positive things? On my /a/?
>OP plays during big fight scene
I loved when Shakugan no Shana S2 did this.
