Girls und Panzer thread
There will be an early screening event of the Anzio OVA on July 5, the PS Vita game will be released on June 26
spring they said
I was right about to create a GuP thread myself to ask one question, OP. Do you mind me using yours?
Picture related. I saw this posted ia few days ago, and just marathoned the whole series (and 6 OVAs) looking for it, but can't find it. What am I missing?
Isn't that from the 6th OVA? At the first few minutes.
No, dialogu doesn't match
If it's the subs on that pic they're not part of the OVA itself.
They make it so hard not to sexualize the panzers
he might be talking about the mini special an anon made using the tanks as characters
there's a link of that on the wiki
>here will be an early screening event of the Anzio OVA on July 5
+2 months for watching?
+x for subs?
I'm sure Commie will come through for us. Are Hiryuu and their Tankwondo still alive and subbing?
it'll be in stores before that IIRC, wasn't it mentioned in yesterday's thread?
The Anzio battle will be better made than all the other battles.
Anchovy finally gets the love that she deserves.
>mini special an anon made using the tanks as characters
where can I find it?
Strange name for 75mm shells.
Is /ak/ still working on tank corner or should I lose all my hopes and dreams?
Britain > America > Russia > *
ak_gup_translator is missing since months ago. Momo has confessed he sucks translating both technical tank data and Yukarin's machinefire tanksspergin. Translators are actually requested.
You forgot Italy> at the very start of the line
Sending people to other boards tend to have strange results
Last time someone was sent to /d/ from a GuP thread the results weren't pretty. This was posted in a diaper thread. Or so I've heard.
>believing in commie
>believing in hiryuu
there's a reason why /ak/ began pushing its own subs
on the wiki, anime section, bottom most link
looks like a mountainous area for the match
So they *are* referencing Bir el Gubi after all?
Closed-rear senshado-legal conversion kit for pic related when?
Never, way too open
Maginot has to be really bad if they lost to Anzio. I kinda wanna see a Maginot - Anzio OVA more than the upcoming one.
Especially considering they had pic-related on their side.
Are they going to have Yukari and Erwin team up like in the manga?
Seriously I know they are french, but please...
Italian tanks are bad, but not THAT bad, Anon. The Semovente da 75 is basically a poorman's Stug III, tthe P26/40 was about the same as an early Sherman, and the M13/39 series were comparable (if a bit worse) to the early British cruiser tanks, or to most French medium ones. Mind you, I'm mentioning only the tanks Anzio is known to own; if they had other Italian-designed, German-built tanks like the 105mm-armed Semovente, itgets worse
Any of the 75mm-armed tanks or assault guns could handle it, Anon. It was invulnerable only against the 37mm guns of 1939-vintage Panzer IIIs.
Mutually vulnerable to the 47mm-gun-armed M series, same speed and worse turret (even if it has better armor). The Semoventes and the P26/40 would also eat it for lunch.
>inb4 Italy Stronk
I'm SPECIFICALLY not saying Italian tanks are better than French tanks. Just saying that they are NOT hopelessly outclassed.
Want to hear something more amusing? Italians had 30 Somua S35 tanks themselves (deployed as garrison in Sardinia)
I didn't say it was impossible to win for Anzio, I was just saying that it was tough. Like Ooarai - Black Forest tough. I know that if you look at the Allied contemporary tanks, Italian armor isn't that bad and they could take on Renault tanks, but in that battle Anzio was the clear underdog. Especially since the best Italians have to offer (>>101736038) isn't Sensha-do legal.
Friendly reminder that every WWII army had MG-armed, lightly armored tanquettes. Germans, British, Russians, Americans. Picture related: That's an American WWII tank.
>every WWII army had MG-armed, lightly armored tanquettes
Sure, but no one in the right mind would use them in a Sensha-do battle. 'Cept Anzio.
I know, and I'm glad you point it out too, Anon; this is because Anons think Italy had those tanks ONLY.
We have no idea what Maginot actually had.
In b4 20mm armed L33's.
Well, the last mini-OVA implied that Anzio was quite poor. Otherwise they would be running a team full of P26/40 and later Semovente models.
Looks like I need to finish the OVA's, but if they had the dosh to cough up this lineup, I doubt dropping in two more Semoventes or M13/40s would have been too hard.
Maybe it's a part of their strategy, at the very least it will be interesting to see what they use them for... Or the explanation on why even they implement them in the first place.
>Maybe it's a part of their strategy, at the very least it will be interesting to see what they use them for...
Scouting. Easy to hide, silent engines. Maybe flag tank?
Scouting seems the most logical explanation, as a flag tank it wouldn't be too suitable since it's survivability is next to nothing. (At least it can withstand MG rounds, kek)
We'll just have to wait and see.
Is the use of dummies senshado legal?
If Spy-Ballons aren't against the rules, I don't see why dummy tanks would be.
>no Erwin doujins
I want to die.
>Sexualizing the gups.
>Not sexualizing the gups
If they were, M4s would never be used for want of crews to drive them!
>Anzio get's a handicap
>Get to take one tank that breaks the rules
Why is Anchovy left out of all the Enemy-Captain fanarts?
In my mind, they were made for that.
If they weren't, they sure as hell adapted easily
And then there was this retard.
Holy shit, this is one awesome fanart. Goddam.
Oarai actually used fake tank decoys in episode 5 (yes, a bunch of logs dragged behind a tank to kick up enough dust to look like a bunch of tanks DOES count as a dummy, thank you for asking) so I'd say it's cano they are allowed - IF the rival is dumb enough to fall for it. inb4 our resident 'Murrikan-hater trying to draw trolling paralellisms with the Amerikan-themed school
Is GuP the deconstruction of Italy?
GuP is whatever you want it to be
I want GuP to be solely about best girl
never thougt I'd say this, but...[/spoiler:lit] based /uk/!
never thougt I'd say this, but... based /uk/!
I thought Hetalia was supposed to be that. But Hetalia didn't mention anything of worth about the Western Desert Campaign, did it?
war is hell
Okay, now we need Erika and this little fellow in that doujin...
Can we make this thread last, please?
Considering we have another OVA AND a film coming, no, no we can't.
I guess he meant last as in "lasting", not as in "the last"
is converting other teams members senshado-legal?
Well it's now summer, They may say something but it's not true until the real release date.
Is that the Communist Chinese Team's strategy when they play against the Nationalist Chinese Team?
But Yukari said we should keep it alive.
Boy-shorts Yukari is best Yukari
>Dat Type 74
Why don't more tanks have Infrared light-boxes?
Most modern tanks have Fordward Looking Infra Red (FLIR)
Modern IR systems don't need big black light projectors.
also, those IR searchlights look like... well, like searchlights for anyone using passive IR gear
>there will never be a fan-Metal Slug but with only tanks and panzas
tanks are Panzer, derp
Panzas= the girls.
That's stupid. Panzer = tank
grills = grills
>you will never tickle Arisa's numb legs until she begs you to stop
It's likely that with "grills", you meant "girls" instead.
If you meant that tanks are not girls, see >>101734616
If you actually meant tanks have no grills, see pic attached.
Either way, you're amusingly wrong, gentle Anon.
I dont know, I only watch 3 seasons, just for watch Austria x Hungary scenes
Grills are something to put sausages in. Therefore girls are grills. So I remain right.
Do more pictures of those playing cards exist? If so, can someone post them?
There are two French schools. B.C. Freedom and Maginot. B.C. Freedom uses the Cross of lorraine, which implies it's the French Resistance, so Maginot is probably prewar France. While the French had some very good tanks, the vast majority had a lot of problems, so it's not surprising that a late-war design like the P40 might easily demolish a few S35, B1s and R35s.
Since when did they use tanks?
I meant Free France. The French Resistance includes more than just mainland France. Most of the initial war was fought in French Africa and the Maghreb, and by the time they landed on Normandy they fielded mostly Shermans and m10s. By the end of the war the French were using captured Panthers as a stopgap measure well into the late 1940s, when they were supplanted by the ARL 44, so technically they could field Panthers as well.
>That swim-suit on Miho
Christ, what is she, a 5 year old?
Don't know what you're talking about.
Someone needs to make a World of Tanks mod, so that little white flags pop out, when you destroy a tank.
Hello WoT playerAlways funny watching bad players blame their inability on a tank good players do well on
