Why didn't anybody help Kircheis?

He was wrestling that guy for a good 25 seconds (I counted) less than 5 feet from half a dozen guys.

Only best Galactic Hero Oberstein had a legitimate excuse in that he was across the room and the only one who moved to shield Reinhard.

But Kircheis was actually there. What more do you want?
>>
All doubts of this guy's loyalty should have vanished the moment he tried to body block that rocket.

The rest are just bunch of jealous cunts for raging on OB.
>>
Because Legend of Galactic Heroes characters other than Mashengo can't comprehend the very idea of doing anything that's not space battles.

>who is Walter von Schenkopp and the Rosenritters

Maybe because that's not how the scene actually goes?
I remember that in the original LD that bit with Kircheis almost breaking his wrist doesn't happen. That was added in the DVDs to make him seem less ineffectual.

Can't say about the novels, I have them but my moon level isn't high enough yet to decipher them.

I wonder aswell, they just stare as Kircheis wrestle with the assassin and only intervene once Kircheis got shot.

Shock. Simple as that.
Than negro Ansbach fired a fucking rocket launcher out of the blue.

The obvious answer is that they all hated Kircheis and were jealous of his closeness with Reinhard. With him out of the way, it opened the competition for a new future Emperor's right hand.
