Tell me why I liked this. I can't quite figure it out myself, usually I'm not overly excited by drama and stuff. Maybe it was it's true-to-lifeness; characters that have real jobs, and real-life issues. Probably I just liked it for it's college-atmosphere.
Because of Morita, and Rohmeyer sempai.
Because of Morita, and Lohmeyer sempai.
Just started watching, sort of indifferent to it.
Season 1 - FUCK YEA! Takemoto!
Season 2 - FUCK NO, BAAWW galore!
Kimikiss > Nodame Cantabili > Honey and Clover.
Loved first season.
Liked second season.
>>Maybe it was it's true-to-lifeness; characters that have real jobs, and real-life issues
Reason I loved the first season, Takemoto's story was really engaging.
The second season turned into a forced soap opera bullshit, too bad.
1st reason why the second season failed.
Nodame Cantabili => Honey and Clover >>>>> Kimikiss
op here; yeah, thought about it the same way. The fact that there was a TV-drama opened my eyes to that. Still, without the second season the series would have been incomplete. And you could already sense that development from the very beginning.
I didn't expect the ending though. But again, it's good applicability to the real world took over the poetic rules
>Based on the game by Enterbrain.
i don't think so,tim
I pretty much agree with that, yeah. Maybe some more >>>>>>> before Kimikiss would help.
Seriously though, the world needs more college anime. I'm sick of high school kids.
>I'm sick of high school kids.
>Hagu: "Even though she`s entered college, she looks like a middle school student."
This turned the whole series down, imo.
Also: There's no way I'm gonna watch a TV-drama. But how's the life-action movie?
i dont like romance but this anime GOOD :)
It's anime. There has to be a loli (or a trap).
has anybody seen the adaption yet? The characters look close to their anime-originals. (That is, except Hagu-chan not being a blonde 14-year old of course.)
Hagu is a DWARF.
Nevermind, you're too stupid to see an anime like a story. It's always moe, tsundere, loli, etc with you.
Live action movie was okay. Moriyama looked like a nerd, Morita acted more like a douche than a zany crazy guy.
I've watched the first two episodes so far and it is okay at best. The actor playing Hagu does a fucking horrible job though. Granted Hagu is kind of a hard part to play, but she just ends up looking like a retard. Also the actor for Takemoto is a little too comedic for my taste. I liked him better in the Hana-Kimi adaption. I do like that they are playing around with the order things are happening though to create some original drama. Hopefully we can avoid the Hagu meltdown of the second season.
are you trying to troll me or do you seriously think that im into fanservice anime?
Apply Occam's razor.
Each person has different issues they're facing with their lives. Each person has REAL issues they're facing with their lives. Add in the comedic elements and it's funny, yet touching.
Second season, while tragic in many ways, was necessary to finish the story. That series needed closure.
The first season was fuckwin, it helped that I was graduating from college and I totally related to Takemoto's plight.
The season isn't that bad although I rather have less Mayama, more Takemoto, and Morita's story being less cliche although I BAWWW about his father. And as much as I LOVED Hagu (fuck ya niggaz) she should've died because that would've made me shit bricks.. The best part of the second season IMO when they focused on Yamada's unrequited love.
Except a lot of storyline wasn't "closed", also Hagu story could have been closed in a much better way, bringing an accident into it was just forced and overdramatic.
>>meant to add SEASON person to that bottom paragraph.
Funny, I loved that it was more about Mayama.
Although it helps that he was my favorite character.
Yeah, the second season really depends on what characters you loved in the first season. I was pretty indifferent to Mayama, so that whole thing with Rika felt like it had too much of the spotlight in the second season although I did genuinely liked it.
Plus I also missed the watercolor/pastel look of the first season as well.
I thought it was closed pretty well. Mayama got what he wanted, Morita got over the whole thing with his brother and the factory, Takemoto got some closure with Hagu, Hagu continues to suffer from being a dwarf, the professor got chosen, and I don't care nor remember what happened to Yamada.
Well, maybe my remembrance is a little checkered.
I agree with your spoiler. The worst is when I saw the related scene, I was so thinking that it would happen.
But no, again, easy choice.
You know, there was a reason why Hagu looked like a loli. It was to emphasis her childishness and naivety due to her being heavily sheltered.
Although she was trying to look older as the series progressed.
I always wonder if that Takemoto and Morita were somewhat lolicons because of Hagu.
>Mayama got what he wanted
In what way? Rika is still unreachable to him.
>the professor got chosen
Did I get this right, in the end? he seemed more like a father to Hagu. imo, they won't have a relationshit (in b4 partyvan)
>and I don't care nor remember what happened to Yamada.
Nothing, even though she would normally have engaged in a relationship with Nomiya. Very few closure there either.
Erm... well... did you notice how Morita and Rika were in the same bed an weren't wearing any clothes?
>In what way? Rika is still unreachable to him.
they had sex,remember?
and after that rika lowered her guard permanently iirc.
>You know, there was a reason why I like loli. It is to emphasis my personality disorder and sickness due to me being heavily beaten by my mother.
>they had sex,remember?
But they would never have a normal relationship. She seemed to be manic-deperssive until the very end. Maybe that was just part of her character, though..
Hagu knows the professors feelings, but I doubt they got together as she seemed to focused on her career. She was using him as a crutch basically. He knew that she wouldn't accept his feelings, but that she still needed him the most to get over her accident.
mayama wasn't normal either, being an obsessive stalker and all.
but i guess we were expected to have faith in the healing powers of love.
You guys watch way too much harem and dating simulation anime.
what is normal
He wasn't a stalker. They joked about it in the series, but he wasn't.
He was, don't delude yourself.
If you think that was stalking, may you never actually be stalked.
