What's so wrong with VLC?
It is inferior to MPC.
I'll tell you when I finish rebuilding my font cache.
Never happened to me
Isn't the file corrupted?
Just download KCP and watch anime like it's supposed to look.
That happens to me a lot in MPC too, usually when you skip forward or back.
Nice try Rock, I'm not falling for your plan.
In which ways?
MPC will stutter instead of completely losing the image.
I use VLC honestly and don't understand hwy either. I did get a couple things like this once >>101689444 but it was cause I skipped around a bunch.
mpv master race
Look it up yourself, why should we care what media player you intend to use?
Thirty seconds on Google will provide you lots of results, if you're looking to ensure your watching anime with the best possible quality then you should be willing to read up.
If not, fuck off.
You have two products which do the exact same thing. One is better than the other.
Why use the inferior one?
I switched over to mpv at the same time I switched to Linux.
Not because of muh video quality, but because VLC audio was fucked up the ass for some reason and it was easier to switch than fix it.
Everything was all crackly.
What is mpv?
>What is mpv?
It's an old version with outdated codecs.
This. We're not forcing you to change your lifestyle. It's just nonsense.
Both are free.
I was actually surprised at how well mpv worked by default.
Everything VLC does, MPC does better. People who use VLC are stupid and lazy without exception.
MPC doesn't support .mkv files though, so why would I not watch muh animu in BD on VLC or DivX again?
Are you the same guy from last night who used that exact same image to start a rec thread, and then cried when /a/ told you to fuck off?
>MPC doesn't support .mkv files though
Will anyone answer this seriously and not act elitist?
will i get bashed if I say I use TheKMP?
i'm just used to the hotkeys
Kawaii Codec Pac 4 Lyf
This guy is a professional.
It has a God-awful interface.
Gee its not like we have things called search engines on the internet? Why are you so reliant on people spoon feeding you?
>Hey guys, I took the wheels off my truck and now it doesn't go anywhere!
>Trucks are shit, cars are better!
The only people that care about VLC vs. MPC are elitists.
most paluable vlayer
How the fuck do you not know this?
Should have figured, I mean this is /a/ after all where the birds sing sitting in their nest hidden within the massive neckbeards.
>tear out components from a program
>hey it doesn't work anymore!
>not having a hovertruck
Then it's still a file codec issue that MPC doesn't support. Just an audio codec. Get over youself
Dude, I literally told you in this post >>101690175
so shut the fuck up.
All it takes is typing three characters into Google, "mpv"
It's a media player, you fucking twat. This is a thread about media players, and when an anon says he uses mpv he's referring to his use of a media player.
Yup, now go back to facebook. Its clear you don't belong here
No, you clearly deliberately broke your MPC installation.
>tear a component out
The fuck are you on about? I just opened the file up using MPC
What the fuck are you talking about? I've never opened a file in MPC and had trouble.
>I just opened the file up using MPC
Yeah, but first you fucked up MPC so it can't play mkv files. That's literally the only way you'd get that error.
oh man, that, oh man my sides.
>watching BD on VLC
I don't think I did, maybe I just downloaded a shitty old version of it a long time ago, come to think about it I don't even remember downloading it. Official site?
Not responding to this bait any more.
>MPC doesn't support .mkv files
Google it, twat.
I installed KCP and MPC-HC but it I get extreme lag on any video that exceeds 480p. Not sure how to fix it... VLC plays all videos fine.
