One Piece profits are dropping very fast.
2014 predictions put it at just 1/3 of the all time peak of 2012.
What is WSJ going to do when Bleach and Naruto are over and OP is just a shadow of it's former glory?
The prediction is fucked.
The sudden peak in interest in One Piece came from a certain very popular arc.
Arc is over, people get on with their lives. That doesn't mean that the OP fanbase would suddenly dissolve.
From 11 billion to 8 billion in a year. To 4-5 billion in 2 years.
>To 4-5 billion in 2 years.
It's called a prediction.
Data for 3 quarters of fiscal 2014 are already out. All that's left in Q4.
Just 4 billion after 3Q. Much worse than even 2011.
>Data for 3 quarters of fiscal 2014 are already out.
>Digital Card Game Machine
Kamen Rider: falling
Gundam: Rising, hell yeah, Builder saved Gundam!
Power Rangers: yoyo
Aikatus! : Out of fucking nowhere.
Anpanman: rising, one death wasn't enough
Pretty Cure: slowly falling, because see above
Dragon Ball: rising. Yeah, that's because of Battle of Gods.
One Piece: bombing
Ultraman: Not giving up yet, a sudden rise
Battle Spirits: Who?
>Builder saved Gundam!
>Gundam: Rising, hell yeah, Builder saved Gundam!
GBF DVD1 no data due to really low sales
GBF DVD2 597 copies sold
Bluray box1 63 sets preordered
Even AGE sold better,
>Builder saved Gundam!
GBF fags sure are stupid
I blame Toei for doing a crappy job with the anime and filler.
>Toy and Hobby sales
Does WSJ or the authors get a cut of all merchandise and such?
Get me the data on manga sales and then we'll talk.
>One Piece dying
I think both get royalties.
typical wan piss fags in denial
face it, the series dropped the ball after the arc
>99 years later, Dragon Ball is still strong
Man I need to brush up on my 101 business, someone remind me when you have data from 3 quarters of a year when we just entered February. My mind isn't making sense of it, but I'm sure someone can clear it up for me.
That graph is from December.
Do fiscal years stay one ahead of real years or something? I've completely forgotten.
Cause everyone seems to be implying 2014 on the right.
We've been in the 2014 financial year since July.
That would still not explain why they have the data for 3/4 of the year after half the year has gone by.
Fiscal 2014 is 04.2013 to 03.2014.
Thanks I feel like an idiot for forgetting. Then again I still don't remember why it's like that instead of just matching the calendar...something about making it easier to adjust based on predictions?
Precure isn't really falling.
It takes it's profits from tons of other companies, Toei and Bandai are just a small part of it.
You see it slowly falling this time because Doki toys were generally overpriced and not so good.
It's all about the merchandise. Manga volumes are cheap as toilet paper. Every single big franchise gets the vast majority of it's profits from merchandise.
I remembered a pic about old man playing aikatsu when there is a line of little girls that wanted to play.
typical betaruto fan with nothing better to do than bitch
>toy / merchandise sales
who gives a flying fuck the manga is still selling
like hot cakes
>being an underaged faggot
go back to 9fag
Bleach, Nurutu, One piss is the same shit.
People in charge sure care.
Because toys bring them much more cash than cheap paper.
