This raises the important philosophical question of how one makes an 8 bit sprite which can convey the subtle mixture of feelings you feel as your cute friends make you feel something you're not ready to admit you need to feel.

It's morning in most places. What are you thinking? Everyone who visits the Yuyushiki threads comes around at nighttime.

I want there to be an active Yuyushiki thread up when the next issue of Kirara comes out so we can all experience the news together, so I'll do my best to keep the thread alive.

>Hinata Sketch

>Womb Rainder
>Cute girls in cute clothes
>I want to protect those Aikawas
>Tackling the big issue of female friendship vs. lesbianism Yuyushiki is obviously the latter
>Fumi the dog will be great friends with Namaoppai!
>The consensus on ST seems to be "alright"
>/yys/ goes retro, sprites and chiptunes abound
>Yuzuko would be the best American president ever, and she'd treat the girls she locks in her rape cabinet well
>We need some writefriends back
>Yukari is simply even more equally betterer even in dreams
>Kill your expectations immediately, but never give up hope

The fact that Yuzu and Yukari both independently interact with the anti-Yuyus is one. You could always imagine that they were just playing along with Yui's puppets while Yui pretended not to be there because they felt sorry for her though.

I've been on 4chan the whole week and there weren't any Yuyushiki threads in the meantime.

And as for the debunking, there are several times in the show when Yuzuko or Yukari is on their own somewhere, without Yui, and other characters acknowledge their presence and interact with them. Like pic related, and also another moment where Kei and Fumi meet Yukari in the hallway one morning.

Even though the puppet theory is heavily flawed, it started in the very early days of the Yuyushiki threads, so it's pretty much a running joke at this point.
>>
>>101679145
There's that scene in which that other girl finds Yuzu alone at the library and hides from her.
I was thinking that maybe what she saw was Yui playing Yuzu being alone at the library, and that's why she felt like a terrible person after hiding from her.
Checkmate atheists.

I was there, so I know.

It was just a fun and lighthearted theory for a fun and lighthearted show.
I stopped watching around episode three since I was too busy, so I should really download the BDs and finish.
The show was enjoyable for those three and it made me sad when I heard the show bombed.

>Then make one you baka.

Yuyushiki threads only happen once or twice a week. We usually drive them right to the bump limit, so any more threads than that and it becomes too much. Discussion topics become scarce and people become uninterested. To use an analogy I've used several times before, we need to recharge our Yuyu batteries after every thread so that we don't get to the point where we're talking about literally nothing.

Also, this: >>101679373
Just marathon it this weekend for the comfiest weekend of your life, or perhaps stretch it out and savor it over the course of a week or a month. Either way's fine.

Shit, I don't think that Yuyushiki being a show about random tangents excuses the threads to go off-topic as well, but DAMN if I don't love me some Zelda.

Although I took several stabs at LttP from as early as about 10 years old, I finally beat it for the first time last summer, and I gotta say I didn't love it as much as everyone else seems to. I also beat LoZ for the first time around the same time, and I enjoyed that one way more thoroughly. I love LA to pieces, and you have good taste in music. Still haven't beaten the Oracle games, Minish Cap was pretty good, and ALBW is great.

Maybe if someone goes on /v/ and starts a Zelda thread with a Yuyushiki reaction image as the OP, we can talk more in-depth about it there.

Maybe it's cliche but OoT:MQ is still my favorite Zelda game ever. I especially loved how the water temple in MQ was fairly straight forward and intuitive while the original took me hours to figure out on my first play-through. That might have just been me not sucking anymore, but I like to think it was intentionally less complicated than the original.

/yys/ is always being so off-topic, but at least you're not raping my mind with discussions of multiple universes and the nature of realty.
>>
>>101694808
I ended up doing every other dungeon before the water one. Like you, I never got the red tunic either. I figured there would be another one but didn't realize where it was until the second time around.

Still, despite the low difficulty, it was a fun game. The item upgrades were also very cool.

"Enough." We'll never know the exact figures (production cost, sales, net profit per sale etc.), but I guess the first season should set a baseline for paying its keep and then some.

Assuming (think sleepwalking Yukari talking to herself) production costs of $100k per episode and a net profit per disc of $40 (figures that have floated around the net) gives us 2500 discs per episode. Each volume has two episodes, so 5K should be the safe line for paying-production-costs-solely-by-disc-sales.

All four Hidamari seasons and extras have been licensed and put on discs for an additional boost.
>>
>>101696085
Well, that gif was an exaggeration as an example, but x365 did have much more motion and less QUALITY than the other seasons in general. Honeycomb had some serious problems with QUALITY.

People need to stop calling them lolis. It has a sexual connotation that doesn't apply.

IIRC, lolita was 12 or 13 and actually had a sex drive. What'sherface married to Sartre wrote a book about lolicon, and it wasn't about little kids.

Fucking pedos making excuses for their bullshit. Little girl != loli, I'm sick of seeing that word.

I'm unable to sexualize Mashiro or Renge or most lolis in general with only a few exceptions like Lucchini.
>>
>>101697179
People will call it whatever they want. Words change their meaning and there isn't much we can do about it. Loli in particular doesn't really have any necessary sexual connotation in itself anymore.
>>
>>101697179
I just use the word loli to indicate an underage 2D girl, so that it doesn't seem as weird when I say something like "___ a best loli, I want to love and cuddle her forever." What would you call a girl under the age of 12, then?

So, I've been trying to track down a source of mellorine. Apparently, it's nearly extinct, but apparently there is a division of Dean Foods located in Texas -- Hygeia Dairy -- which still produces it.

Anyone in the Texas area able to do some investigation?

Thanks. Apparently it was more popular in the South part of the U.S., so they probably distribute around that area.

Some other leads I've dug up include Arko Foods International, which may be company behind a Philippino brand called Selecta (apparenly they distribute it in the U.S. through ethnic stores, found some legal documentation regarding a court case they were involved in).

It seems commercial-scale Mellorine production primarily occurred in the 50's - 60's, mostly in the states of Texas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Illinois; possibly some production also in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Montana, and Oregon. So those are some other possibilities. Also, the "Strauss" brand of ice cream (overseas) might also include some Mellorine as well.
>>
>>101714066
But they don't have more skin

Now think about how scary that is
>>
>>101714066

Hmm... well, while the absolute amount of skin is greater in fat people, the ratio of skin-to-mass is lower than in thin people. This is because surface area scales with the square, but mass scales with the cube.

This actually ends up being important in physiology and pharmacology. /medschool
>>
>>101714246
So they have the same amount of skin stretched over a larger area?

The cicadas buzzed and the sun glared with intent on making this morning of June as hot as possible, and with you whipping your collar to get some slight circulation of air going, it succeeded well.

You had managed to catch a few sentences of the weather forecast before you left for school, and their promise of well over 28 degrees for noon seemed to have come true way too early.
Something that weren't early, though, was your friend Aina who was supposed to show up at least five minutes ago.

Speeding up the whipping, you look around for any sign of her, to no avail.
The crossing was still empty but for you, as it was located quite far from the city core and its traffic. Here it was just tall hedges, white-painted walls and the sound of their inhabitants waking up.

The crossing was just a hundred metres from your family's house, and on Aina's way to school, hence why you two had made it a meeting spot all those years ago back in Kindergarten.

Worth continuing?

A test for >>101716801

The first time you saw her, she was running, and so far you haven't seen her jog or just walk fast. She either runs or stands still.

Muttering to yourself about her always running yet being late, you notice the clatter of shoes against pavement quickly closing in behind you.
Slowly turning and wise from experience, bracing yourself for impact, she enters your vision.

Coming to a screeching halt, her light brown hair catching up with the movement, her bag hitting her back with a thud and white teeth in her ever-smile, the tribulations of your situation arrives.

Before you manage to make a comment on her being late, she greets you.

"Herroring!"

Aina is taller than you, always has been and most likely always will be. She's also better at sport, at least those dependant on speed, and more often than not better at making friends. Now she also seems to have overheated.
