I thought this was supposed to be comfy? It's pretty creepy if you ask me.
Who the fuck said Mushishi is comfy? It was pretty relaxing at times but it was also creepy and depressing for the most part of it.
What I take from the show is that the whole narration and sound affects immediately absorbs you into the story. And since it's episodic, you always feel satisfied after every episode. Ginko as a character is also one of the main pillars of the show. I like how he chooses understanding and acceptance even when he's had multiple negative encounters with mushi.
I feel like even though the show is perfectly fine to watch in English (even with dubs) I would understand more of what the show is trying to present to me if I was actually a Japanese person.
Could have been better with more tea drinking and cake eating.
Ginko's a cool guy, he manages to pull of that cool, calm and relaxed persona that countless anime males fail to do, who usually end up looking a bit tryhard in the end.
That's why I find it comfy honestly. I like creepy stuff. But it's a slow, atmospheric kinda creepy that's also calming and relaxing.
hell yeah i still remember episode where some mother died because a mushisi eating sound of quiteness, killing her mentaly and slowly because she cant unhear any sound
I heard S2 is coming, is it true?
Yes, now we rejoice.
Wait what? Wasn't only a new special announced?
Nah apparently a second season is starting in April.
S2 is in Spring.
Yes! So how much episodes will it have? Around 20 I presume?
I just finished this show today. Despite a lot of people having this same face thing going on, I thought it was really good. It had a really strange atmosphere, like it was trying to be creepy or horror while at the same time still feeling like a safe environment, also it felt sad sometimes. Like the mood throughout the whole series was quite melancholy, it was great.
Not heard about the number episodes, hopefully it's in the 20s again.
I'm currently watching this and it's boring as hell
Isn't it a top 10 on MAL? why
Lots of people like it, so It seems it's just not for you.
Also why would you trust anyone's shitty opinions on MAL anyway?
>Isn't it a top 10 on MAL?
Stereotype confirmed once again.
If you can't articulate why you find it 'boring', it's probably on you.
