>there are people that still believe this show isn't edgy
She's not dead. She can't be dead. Her theme song is too good.
>there are still people that think edgy is an inherently negative thing
LOOK AT THIS POUT AND TELL ME THIS IS EDGY.
Do you know why she is pouty? Because her clothes are teasing her and her friend can't hear his side of the conversation.
She's shown to be alive in the preview
Even if edgy were good, KLK isn't edgy.
Black and Red with blood isn't edgy; edgy is an attitude.
Satsuki stabbed her mother brutally and without remorse.
Didn't even try to reason with her or anything.
Ragyo didn't treat her bad either(as far as we were shown)
Why are people celebrating Hitler 2.0 killing Hitler 1.0?
>edgy is an attitude.
Edgy means that something is done in an unusual way that makes some people uncomfortable. Like excessive amounts of blood, for example.
>There are people who still don't know what edgy means
also, mako pulled a full course meal out of her cleavage
What does edgy mean?
She looks pregnant.
who the fuck cares if an animu is edgy or not
I don't know why that made me laugh.
Things I don't like.
I saw this coming from goddamn near the moment ragyo was introduced but I am still hype as fuck
next thursday can't come soon enough
It's just an extra little touch to point out that the game doesn't exist.
>killed her own mother
>gloating after killing her mother
if everything that makes me this hard is edgy then i might as well masturbate to /v/ itself
being molested isn't bad enough treatment
it's kind of funny that Ryuko turned out to be the least edgy thing in the show outside of Mako and her family
>edgy is an attitude.
kinda and if anything, much to the chagrin of everyone here, Berserk is way more 'edgy' than KlK, but neither of these are edgy.
Can someone point me to an anime that that really is edgy, the first thing that comes to mind is the one that has a demon thing blending a bunch of humans in it's arm
Stabbing her own mother like that was definitely edgy, doesn't make it bad though.
But sadly edgy has come to just mean anything people don't like.
The thing that seperates KLK from, say, elfin lied, is that despite the violence and tragedy, it isn't overly pretentious. You can tell that KLK doesn't take itself too seriously at all. It's supposed to be stupid and fun, but gives way for some 'deepness'.
Pretentiousness is a big part of what makes something edgy. Elfin Lied was just so far up its own ass that it was alienating.
KLK isn't like that
>>there are people that still misuse the word edgy
fixed your post OP
>>>there are people that still use the word edgy
If an action was extreme enough to the degree that within the context of the plot you find yourself asking "was that really necessary?" , and the answer is no, it's edgy.
But she's not dead?
It's a ruse by trigger, she'll die within the first 5 minutes. They do that showdown running past each other thing and as Ragyo raises her spools she falls over dead leading to.>>101669647
Kill la 4chan
killing is edgy
dying is edgy
Overkill while snarling like an animal fits the bill
nah, each spool represents a life. she had 7 before, now she has 6
>/g/, /mu/, /d/, /fit/
One's stupid, one's got bad taste, one's unpredictable, and the other isn't even worth mentioning. If 4chan fought a little girl with these four boards, we'd lose worse than the Broncos at the recent Superbowl.
It's hardly overkill when you consider how much punishment it apparently takes to kill someone in this universe.
It's not overkill IF SHE DOES NOT DIE
Anything with blood or "bad words" I think is the definition for most people now.
Blame the /v/ermins an their maymays
>Implying anybody has been killed this entire show.
this is the first time in 17 episodes somebody has gotten stabbed
You mean besides Satsuki's cunt last episode?
Trigger done such a good job so far, I doubt anyone expected Satsuki to literally back stab her like that.
Isshin got stabbed in a flashback.
I totally expected it, because I made the mistake of visiting /a/ before I watched the episode.
You don't know what edgy is. Edgy means pushing the envelope for the sake of it. A Clockwork Orange isn't edgy because it's self aware, the violence within it is completely within the context of the set up world. It's not done to show how cool and dark and moody the characters are.
On the other hand, you have shit like Saw. Which is edgy because it's violence for the sake of showing how violent the movie can be. If Satsuki had stabbed her mom and then pissed on her bloody corps while masturbating that would have been hot. And edgy...
The point is, it was perfectly within Satsuki's character and relevant within the context of the show for her to do what she did.
go home pls
you don't even know what you're saying
I don't mind if you wanna hang out
just be quiet and sit in the corner ok?
This show makes me want to get motivated.
A guy was killed in the very first episode, in one of the very first scenes.
MAKO'S FATHER GETS BEHIND GAMA WITHOUT HIM NOTICING
reminder that their whole family is the final boss
Not dying is edgy.
You can use the second screen to find out who killed your dad.
>i havent watched the first episode
So did anyone else see this coming the moment Ragyo was introduced?
Was anyone seriously dense enough to think that Satsuki wasn't going to murder her mother in rebellion either to take the throne or to stop her?
Did anyone else think that Ragyo was a retarded villain? "Hurr durr... These magical space aliens are asleep and they eat things. They helped us evolve that means we should all get eaten by them! I love killing my own species because i either feel like we owe another species something or because I'm spiteful enough to run a worldwide business for the sake of killing everyone on earth."
Pic related, it's Ragyo.
But that definition is bullshit. You are just yapping "it's edgy because it's edgy" convinced you are right by month spent into hate maymay circlejerk where everybody tapped on your shoulder for being the buffoon of the group.
That ragyo was just Nui all along. Ragyo especially told her to "get herself suited for the situation".
I knew there was some tension between them, and I never really found Satsuki to be evil. Maybe lawful evil at most.
I wasn't expecting her to rebel agains her mother, though.
I expected a betrayal/rebellion, it always seemed like Satsuki was planning something/disliked her mother.
The way it was done was pretty shocking, though. So fun and hype.
Nobody dies in the present day.
It's not edgy when their doing everything possible in the show as over-the-top as possible
Except the plot progression
i doubt ragyou is retarded or crazed, she's probably just being controlled by life fibers
If that's the case and she just has a life fiber worm in her 150 year old brain why didn't she just put one in Satsuki? You'd think that would be a smart idea.
No, she's just retarded.
where did you get the 150 year old part from?
Why is /a/ so pathetic?
If it's edgy and good, it's still good.
Stop being such a pack of bandwagoning autists
>a negative word applies so it must be bad!
Fucking retards... wait, I'm accidentally posting in a containment thread, aren't I?
Anyway, this episode was actually good. Not good enough to make up for the rest of the show, but still good.
Thanks for your valuable insight
Oh, sorry I didn't have retarded speculah for you.
How's this: the life fibers are actually nazis! Ragyo won't die because she's made of life fibers and is a puppet being controlled by Nui! Homomomomo will fight commando guy! Enough?
The dude who stole the one-star uniform?
What makes you think he died?
People who use the word "edgy" here are either retared or trolls and winning an argument against those isn't possible.
Please let this thread die.
No, it'd be /g/, /mu/, /fit/, /sp/or /asp/.
Gama's bondage isn't his defining trait. It's his rock solid discipline and absurd physique.
She mentions finding the original Life fiber back in 1890
nobody mentions that, the "200 years" aikurou was talking about was actually 20, it was a translation error
Ragyou was expected to be the ultimate final boss, so a stab in the back was a bit out of the blue, even if she's not dead.
Mako said that. However still they all die in fun way or too dramatically. I can't label that as edgy.
y-you totally a-arent from /v/!
first episodes of SAO comes to mind
pretty much every part of nurutu where sasuke appears
Was this not the best episode so far?
Compared to what? It's less edgy than both TTGL and PSG at the very least.
you want edgy? this guy is egde incarnate!
If you really think that this is edgy then you haven't been paying attention.
>Can someone point me to an anime that that really is edgy
Because excessive blood is unusual in anime...
bleeding like fuck from getting stabbed clean through the chest is not really excessive
The word you were searching for is 'good', OP.
>Starting point for the plot was Ryuuko finding her father's killer.
Confirmed for not even reading the premise, let alone watching the show.
>Kiru ga Kiru
It's about killing the killer, therefore kiru la kiru.
Her father was kill before the show. That's called back story.
she is love
>Gama's bondage isn't his defining trait. It's his rock solid discipline and absurd physique
Maybe that's true, but the bondage is what makes his uniform
>that Shadow the Hedgehog cover redesign
I can only wonder which would have better overall US sales. Obscure anime game or shitacular Sonic series spin off.
It was one of the better episodes. Still doesn't top that first Satsugod vs. Ryedgy fight.
Lelouch you're just happy that Nui is going to ruse everyone so shut up.
It was alright.
Best episode of KLK is Scourge Regalia fight and Scarf Ryuuko recovering Senketsu
Satsuki's definitely Lawful Evil, at best Lawful Neutral. However, Ragyō is most likely Chaotic Evil, and Satsuki wouldn't allow her dominion to be ruined by her mother's self-destructive pursuits.
>Ebic may may
"SHOW YOUR SELF, OUR NEW RULER, THE EPA' AH"
So, is she farting that explosion?
