Better than eva

Siege of Babel never.

This reminds me I should re-watch G gundam

So good it's a wonder it ever got made. Too bad there weren't sequels, though not surprising.

Well, other than that Gin-Rei special, but we don't talk about that...

It's my favorite series, everything is just so good about it. Animation, music, plot, characters, everything just works. My only complaint is the cliffhanger because the sequels were never made.

Same, though I'd argue that the animation is pretty lackluster. The art design is amazing though, and it started an era of old school mecha revival.

Weird, the animation always seemed very smooth and nice to me. Might be that I'm just too used to modern low budget animation though (I saw GR the first time a couple of years ago). Backgrounds are also good looking and yes the design is great, overall a visually very pleasing series.

The finale was glorious.

Grab Blu-ray remaster (GR looks glorious in HD).

Animation is top-notch for 90's standards.
