>[HorribleSubs] ZX IGNITION - 05 [720p].mkv
Well, that escalated quickly ;_;
There is a chance no new episode next week because 2014 Winter Olympics.
Two TV channels which airs this on Saturday hasn't confirmed they're also taking a broadcast break on their schedule and the Nico airing for episode 6 is still scheduled on the 16th.
Fuck yes. It's time. There's like 3 anons watching this.
Wow, leaving us with how this episode ended is a sin.
I thought we were around 7
>Wow, leaving us with how this episode ended is a sin.
The preview already show episode 6 is most likely about something else.
Yeah, so far they've been introducing characters and then joined them in Asuka's group. But I think these next characters are enemies, right?
God I love the opening. Hikasa Yoko so good.
Probably and I read that around episode 7 they are gonna reconnect with episode 1.
I like the ED. Especially the first part.
try and make it 8 anons
what should i expect if i watch this?
Yep the music in this show is pretty good, I also love the ost specially the battle themes with that sweet guitar.
The ED single was released yesterday and can't find it uploaded anywhere yet.
Being under-watched series is suffering.
>But I think these next characters are enemies, right?
Maybe they will be enemy at first and join Asuka group later, like Ayase.
I guess the real enemy will be Z/X groups, like the one which appear in this episode.
Well the one behind the music is Yasuharu Takanashi, the one who works in Precure so it's granted to be great, he also worked in Fantasista Doll last year and in many other series before.
Make that 9
>you will never have a ZX waifu
It's not on Share. Been checking it off and on all day. Maybe the 'Stralians will beat the elevens again.
Have faith! She'll be real someday. Right?
I always seem to miss the threads for this. Glad I managed to catch this one even though I haven't seen the episode yet.
So that is why the music had a familiar feeling into it.
You can expect likable characters. Good OST. Ok battles. Good paced episodes. And best girls everywhere.
Picked up. I've been wondering about this.
A chill MC too, I find him pretty charismatic.
He's cool but I feel bad when he often seems to forget Aina's name.
I wonder if the other 3 male characters on the TCG version are also going to appear on the main story, not just cameo on the ED animation.
It seems they goes full blown harem route at the moment.
I really should have taken more screenshots. She's adorable.
Bitch of the Season, seriously, no cake deserved that.
Blue a best
Who cares about Aika. I thought she was pretty cute, but then she dropped the cake. You don't drop the cake.
Yeah. I can see why someone wouldn't like him though. But so far I enjoy his character. I think it's refreshing.
Not really (for now).
I like nice mc's and all but the guy was just a little too quick to trust known invaders from another world.
It seems Malice is anime original character, just like Aina.
I wonder who is going to be the final boss, from last week episode it's also shown that Gabriel is also plotting something.
Yes. That's why I said some people wouldn't like him. He seems to be too naive and has a very strong sense of duty to help people.
It can't be helped, he is just a pacifist concerned in doing his work, help people and have fun with friends more than anything, the tone of the show also gives away that he is gonna end befriending most enemies except maybe the final boss.
This episode was full of cake abuse.
That's just not right.
Who is this sea daemon?
>It seems Malice is anime original character, just like Aina.
I thought this was an original anime? I mean, I know there was a Zillion of Enemy (or whatever it was called) game, but I thought the name and monsters might be the only thing I have in common. Whenever I saw trailers or screencaps of the game, I saw none of the anime characters.
The scene with Rigel and Asuka outside the restaurant was one of those cases where the removal of honorifics causes a conversation to make less sense. You can clearly hear Asuka say Rigel-chan, and Rigel was taking issue with the -chan part. But because the subs don't have the honorifics, it just looks like Rigel is angry at him saying her name for no reason.
They took the TCG story and add some anime original part. The anime isn't based on the PS3 game.
Yeah, it would be nice if some group would pick this up.
Well that was fucking stupid. It passed the 3 episode rule only to fail at the 4th. Fucking dropped. Now I don't feel bad this show is selling like complete shit.
Yuzuriha Misaki, an idol.
She is also a Z/X user, I wonder her background story is going to be shown on the anime.
At least the fountain scene have Aina saying Ayase's last name so that scene makes sense.
Eh, the TCG has a story? PS3 Game?
At least we get HS, some shows don't even get HS
Tesagure subs never
I'm sorry, but I laugh every time they say "zex" very seriously.
Everyone I know who watches this does too, it's okay
The new Yoshino?
>Eh, the TCG has a story? PS3 Game?
The PS3 game title is Z/X 絶界の聖戦, I don't know much about it though.
Some of card of the TCG has some kind of story on the descriptions.
>those last few minutes
>Kobayashi Yuu as the new magican girl
Also Aina a fucking shit. That was the fastest evil conversion ever. Her VA isn't very good either.
I'm not sure why, but I laughed at this scene.
I think it was the neon pink blood and ridiculous looking monster.
balloons don't move that like, wtf.
shit, what went wrong anons ;_;
The cake died
Rip, you were a victim of racial discrimination, you will be remembered
No one gave her the dick she needed before it was too late. Now many cakes will die.
It was a trap set up by Malice. Didn't you see the balloon vanish in her hand?
The gang better recognize Dark Aina when she inevitably fights them. I'm going to lose it if they go, "WHO IS THAT MASKED GIRL WHO HAS THE SAME HAIR STYLE, BODY BUILD, AND VOICE AS AINA!?"
I bet she's really happy about her birthday "present".
Balloons these days are too clever anon, but not as cleaver as the diabolus and that's why they are just pawns.
MC don't even remember her name , what makes you think they would recognize a mysterious masked girl who happen to have the same hair style.
She could be her twin sister or something
she should have asked me
damn, 2mbs of cake
That's what Ayase is for I guess
I must preserve the cake in all it's glory even if it's bloated. And from now on I propose we ban masks on birthdays.
Man, Aina converted to the dark side too fast. And they made the conversion at a bad point, too. It would have worked better if she converted immediately after finding out that her friends are Z/X and Z/X Users. Not after the gang gave her a freakin' birthday cake despite what she said to them. She was even happy about the cake. Was.
>A birthday party without a cake is like curry without gram masala!
>That's not curry at all.
>That face of understanding and sadness.
I lost it, too good.
does MC eventually give this girl the love she needs? depending on the answer i might watch this
It's ongoing, we are at episode 5 and she became a villain...
Did anyone else think it was really fucking awkward that Asuka got a bunch of strangers Aina barely even knows to celebrate her birthday? It was so weird and they even went along with it. I kept imagining her thinking, "I don't even know these people..." I mean I guess she kind of knew Ayase...for like 5 minutes beforehand but I wouldn't invite someone like that to my birthday.
>Kobayashi Yuu and Miyuki Sawashiro in the same show
I fucking love it when this happens.
Does Aina really have any friends? Asuta's only known her a few days, before that she was just stalking him, and he only threw a birthday for her because he's nice to everyone as soon as he meets
I didn't, asuka is just a job partner that ended befriending her because of his personality, aina befriended the angel in the bath, the tsundere in the street and the loli is a regular customer, also this kind of scenario is pretty common in the anime world, they become friends/enemies with ease depending of what the plot requires.
i haven't even started watching this show but why is life so cruel to aina T_T
You know what? I was unsure of this show to start with. A confusing start coupled with the most retarded name ever (zillions of enemy X? Wtf?) almost ruined it for me, but I managed to follow the plot and the characters seemed kinda cool.
I decided that ep 5 would make or break it for me.
It fucking made it. Everything about this episode tickled me in the right places, from the ridiculessness of the cake thing, to Malice and finally to the mask thing.
>Cake making skills: 0%
>Clumsy moe skills: 120%
It was pretty fun.
I hope she gets a slutty/revealing costume while she's being evil and whatnot. I love when they get lewd outfits.
I wonder how they can end this with only 12 episodes.
There is also character like
who is one of main characters on the TCG but doesn't appear to be like one on the OP and ED animation.
Is this really only twelve episodes? I hadn't really heard an actual episode count yet, but I don't see them wrapping it up in that time, especially if we're not even getting back to ep 1 until at least ep 7.
Maybe this will end with a cliffhanger and S2 never ;_;
There are only 6 BD/DVD volumes listed on Amazon so I assume it's only 12 episodes, though there are rare cases where BD/DVD volumes for the 2nd cour are put up for pre-order after the story had already pass that point (episode 12 or 13).
ZX doesn't try too hard. So far it's been really pleasant to watch it. I hope it keeps going like this.
I'm sad this series doesn't get more love, it really is one of the better anime this season. Most of this board has shit taste, but it's always been that way so whatever.
It's not just this board, this series seems to be one of the least discussed series this season on other message board/forums as well.
I liked this episode.
>Aina sees cake and starts warming up to ZX
>Mask: "That ZX stole your boyfriend."
>Aina: "All ZX must die!"
Finally a true yandere enemy.
I want to protect her smile.
Get in line, anon.
I'll be the one to save her life.
Did anybody else completely lose it when fierte threw the butter in the bowl?
Funniest part of the episode.
Hmm...it appears we have some competition here...there's only one way to settle this. And I know nothing about it, not even where to fine it, oh well.
That took me by surprise and I couldn't help but laugh a bit when it happened.
Maybe she should play Parappa the Rapper.
Think she'll focus all her attacks on Fierte and Ayase?
Fierte most definitely. Ayase not so much, as Ayase isn't really that close to MC.
I can't help but imagine her trying to corrupt Fierte now.
>holy fuck this balloon just won't stop
>Let's keep on following it
>it seems to have a mind of its own
>let's follow it into this dark tunnel
>I'll probably never see the kid who lost it again but oh well
She really wants that balloon
Is Rigel a robot girl or a powersuit girl? This is important.
Powersuit I guess.
I know this anime was made to apparently promote a kiddy card game but isn't this anime a bit too grimdark for kids?
