Ever since the closing of anime-fansubs.de,fewer and fewer subs are released, and they also take way longer to wait these days.
Subs4u are slow as hell, and many subgroups haven't continued their projects for ages.

The word scene really pisses me off.
Wow. I have an angry vein pulsing on my forehead every time I see anyone referring to "the scene". Horrible horrible term.

As far as my experience with German people go. They can all speak English pretty well. I guess they figured they might as well watch animoos in English sub instead of waiting on slow German subs.
lol germans, the new factory of loonies since the end of WWII
It's the fact that german subs are fucking slow and they give up after 2-3 eps cause its "to much" work for them.
Start your own german fansub project in four easy steps:
1. Get someone with at least middle school english level; german spelling and grammar aren't real issues.
2. Grab any existing english fansub and rip the subs, pass them to your translator
3. Slap the translation on any raw you find, no matter how shitty.
4. Release your very own fansubs with no credits whatsoever, TA-DA, YOU DID IT!

Most germans won't notice the difference betweeen e.g. seid/seit and dass/das anyway.
If only that was the only problem...
