FAQ: http://pastebin.com/kk59pNHV

This episode went much better than the last one; we were able to keep almost all movie scenes. Sayaka on the riverbank, Kyouko's observation tower, and even Kyousuke's violin performance were kept.

Regarding Sayaka's hairclip, we found that removing it caused some very noticeable lighting conflicts during the Kyouko battle, so removing it would necessitate removing the entire battle. We opted to just keep the hairclip in the scenes we could for now. As we announced last week, the plan is to edit the hairclip into the frames where it's missing, since there aren't that many of them to begin with. But for now, you'll have to live with it disappearing in one or two shots. If it bothers you, hey, it's magic.

Enjoy!

Fancut? This is even a thing? Wow. I thought anyone other than the Shinbo or Gen altering it sounds heretical enough.
>>
>>101637636
Shinbo actually encourages fan works, so I don't really see how this is heretical.
>>
Are these still re-encodes?

I hope that someday Aniplex will release an actual remake with the improved animation, so hacks like this aren't necessary. Until then, we've got this.

Yes, but considering the ridiculous bitrate of the source encodes (UTW/Meguca for the TV episodes, Reinforce for the movies), you won't notice it. Maybe once we get some more momentum we can get UTW to supply bluray sources.

I havent seen the movies yet, I was thinking of watching it as a marathon when the third movie BD comes out. I should probably just do this since I already saw the series.

What, no fancy movie transformation sequence?
>>
>>101645011
Also who am I quoting
>>
>>101645011
Sadly not, as it would require using movie audio.

Honestly, I think the TV transformation sequence fits her better anyway since it emphasizes music more than water. The movie transformation emphasizes water, which isn't really an attribute she gained until witchification.
