If Nui is really Isshin, who was consumed by a Kamui, wouldn't that mean all those who are consumed by Life Fiber will end up like her?

So if Ragyo plans on having the Life Fiber consume 90% of the world population, the world would be made up of mostly Nui's running around, enjoying life, being happy, having fun, and always smiling. Not to mention Nui is a very powerful creature.

Why would you stop this? Why would you stop the evolution of the human race, which would lead us to become much more powerful, and clearly happy creatures?

Matoi Ryuko > little girl

>>
>>101621817
You have to be really dumb to misinterpret that as Nui. OP meant Kinue.

Tsumugu brings up the fact that when it comes to Kamui he can't listen to Aikuro...just when they're talking about Kinue.

It was a Kamui that Kinue was working on that betrays Kinue. It consumes her and possibly creates Nui. Yes, yes...why doesn't anyone recognize her? Simply because she wasn't done transforming yet and or they never saw what happened completely because it started rampaging. Perhaps emergency shutters closed on the observation room.

Either way. She's got a sword and Aikuro groups her with Ryuuko and Satsuki during ep 12. Sword? Color coordinated? Creates energy stars of her color scheme? Looking really likely she turns out to be a Kamui user as well somehow.
>>
>>101621817
>>101622091
Basically, what she's saying is:

>So how does it feel to be betrayed by the very thing you put so much time and effort into creating?

Coincidently, Kinue did the same thing with the kamui prototype.

Now where the hell did Kinue go?

Now we have a random character say this to Isshin.

Coincidence?

OP here; Sorry guys, I meant Kinue. I messed up the names.
>>
When does KlK's new episode show? Which stream?
>>
Also, a note on Nui's transformation power. If Nui has the power to transform her appearance, why can't she simple heal or at least disguise her injured eye with a real one?

It's because it was slashed by a scissor-blade, which cuts Life Fiber.

Hence, Nui's external skin is Life Fiber. The blood which runs through her veins is Kinue's. It's possible that Kinue may be trapped within her kamui's body, or maybe she's non-existent at all at this point, and only her blood remains.

This will most likely lead up to a point in the story where the cast finds out Nui is the kamui which consumed Kinue. We'll probably have a scene where Tsumugu gets emotional and attempts to bring out Kinue from Nui's Life Fiber body, only to meet his demise.

Everybody will be yelling, "It's too late! Kinue is gone! Kill her! Kill Nui!" It will be a great dramatic and feels will be had.

Not unless Trigger made a mistake.

They recently said Senketsu is the ONLY Kamui that Isshin made with intelligence. Junketsu has consciousness but not intelligence.

Though they specifically said Isshin, it could be that Nui was Kinue's creation and it betrayed her out of it's own desire for pleasure and to do what it wants.

This would of course mean she was talking about the scissors though in that scene.

We might get a horrific emerging of Kinue from Nui's body during the fight if she exists in there still somehow through life fiber magic. Maybe telling Ryuuko to kill her since that will kill Nui.

Family is peppered all over I'm sure. And whether or not its cliche it could explore the idea of Ryuuko being exposed to life fibers in the womb since it would fit with the time frame and that would be a nice way to explain her traits.

>Nui is really Isshin, who was consumed by a Kamui
What kind of fucking theory is this? Jesus.
>>
>>101623087
Wow, okay, let me break it down for you.

6 Reasons Why Nui is Kinue

1. Nui can't heal her eye despite her transformation abilities. This screams Life Fiber, since it was cut my Scissors.
2. Given that #1 is true, Nui's blood must belong to someone. Who would be able to give a whole body's worth of blood to Nui? Gee, I don't know, someone who has been consumed by a Kamui? Protip: Kinue
3. There is only one person among the cast of characters who has experienced being betrayed by her own creation: Kinue. Nui asks Isshin how it feels to be betrayed by his own creation, coincidence?
4. Nui = Sewing, Harime = Stitch, Nui Harime is a piece of clothing stitched together.
5. Nui is clearly a very young woman. How does a young woman become Grand Couturier of the most powerful corporation of the world? Maybe if she really isn't that young. Remember, she has the ability to transform her appearance, and thus never age.
6. To add to #5, where did her unmatched skills and knowledge of kamui come from? Gee, maybe she was a kamui seamstress herself?
>>
>>101623026
The CR subs make it much more clear.

>This is the research I've dedicated my life to!
>How does it feel to have your life taken by the very research you dedicated your life to!
>>
>>101623355
Read the posts, it's a mistake. OP meant Kinue.
>>
>>101622905
Fuck, it's probably true then. I can't think of any other way to explain Ryuko's resistance to Life Fiber.

But what's strange about this theory is that it would mean Ryuko was born when Kinue was already consumed, right? That makes things confusing.
>>
>>101623467
Whoops first part is
>This is what I've dedicated my life to developing!
Second part is right

She's talking about the scissors.
>>
>>101623366
The blood belongs to Nui, she enhanced herself with life fibers because she knows how, she talks about scissors, the name is just another play on words related to cloths/sewing, she is talented. You even have that other rather young guy who makes uniforms for academy, Nui is like him but has more knowledge, talent and fun.

I explained it all and it even makes sense. Remember when everyone was freaking out that Nudist Beach will be VERY important, crash the tournament and steal the princess? Good luck. This speculation is the same, it won't happen.

>>101623596
It all depends on who you believe Kinue to be/what happened to her.

-Kinue is pregnant with Ryuuko when she takes life fibers into her body and later becomes life fiber infested Ragyou
-Kinue is pregnant with Ryuuko when she dons a Kamui and is consumed but in the wake of her death the baby is left(Though she doesn't appear pregnant during the incident)

Another theory I came up for Ryuuko's traits was her fear of needles brought up in 2. If Isshin was constantly giving injections to change her as a child this would explain that. Of course it could be nothing.
>>
>>101623680
Your assumptions are based on less evidence than my assumptions are. You're basically assuming she's "just talented" and just magically "knows how to enhance herself with Life Fibers".

Also, names play big roles in creative stories. It's best not to underestimate their meanings.

As for Iori, his knowledge on Life Fiber is almost nothing compared to Nui. Remember, Iori only knows as much as Inumata, and Inumata didn't even know what a fucking Banshi was when he saw it. Nui on the other hand, not only knew what it was, but could successfully pull it out and destroy it with a fucking finger.
>>
>>101623366
Alright, you seem in need of help.

1. Ok. Or, you know, just normal human.
3. Everybody is fucked over by life fibers except for Ryuuko
4. She's the Grand Couturier, she does the stitching
5. Satsuki had a skyscraper when she was much younger
6. Ragyou, you know, the woman who reawakened the original life fiber?

Let me ask you one thing instead: life fibers have no conscience, and she doesn't have Kinue personality obviously, then where did her self-knowledge come from?
>>
>>101623845
No, my assumptions are based on common sense and aknowledging the fact that KLK isn't one of
>creative stories
Her being the killer was already a twist, adding "I'm also Kinue" into the mix would be too much for anyone to stomach. She knows everything about life fibers because she is important person in a company that makes life fibers clothes. She is an important person yada yada because she had talent for that (and probably some knowledge) to begin with. She is special. Ryuko is special. Satsuki is special. Everyone is special.

Ryuuko
Red themed, red kamui, red stars and has a sword
Satsuki
Blue themed, blue kamui, blue stars and has a sword
Nui
Violet patch/sword, violet thread poppers, violet stars and has a sword.

The only thing off with Nui is the color of her dress. But Aikuro says all three are like monsters that have transcended humanity. Sounds Kamui-ish

Tsumugu is talking about a Kamui when it comes to Kinue's death. We know it doesn't seem to be Senketsu since he was recently made.

Suspects? Junkets and a possible 3rd Kamui?
>>
>>101623852
You're assuming everyone just "knows" these things about Life Fiber. Also, Satsuki had a skyscraper simply because she came from a rich family; this doesn't disprove anything I said nor does it have to do with anything.

And do you know who Senketsu is? How the hell can you be watching this and think that kamuis, made by Isshin and his associates, have no conscience? Isshin was associated with the creation of the kamui which consumed Kinue, meaning it's very much possible it had some level of consciousness.

Also, how could you assume you know what Kinue's personality is supposed to be?
>>
>>101624108
>Also, how could you assume you know what Kinue's personality is supposed to be?
Someone from NB would already comment on similarities if there were any and needed foreshadowing.
>>
>>101624074
At this point I can just assume your suffering from low-expectations syndrome. I have a lot more faith in Trigger than you that they would create a story with some meaning behind each "special" character.
>>
>>101624194
This thread is all about assuming, so feel free to do so. If you still have faith, well, good for you I guess.
>>
>>101624180
That's true, but considering how Isshin is associated with self-conscious kamuis, and how Kinue was absorbed, the resulting Life Fiber entity would have a very selfish personality focused on her own well-being without a single care for the well-being of others. This basically describes Nui, and it is completely possible.
>>
>>101624102
It's obvious at this point that the 3rd kamui is the one that disappeared along with Kinue after being absorbed.
>>
>>101623832
>life fiber infested Ragyou

What do you mean by this?

Your second theory seems more likely. I can't imagine Nui having a daughter and just giving her back to Isshin.
>>
>>101624328
Or we can ASSUME that every kamui before Senketsu was a monster parasite, and Senketsu is the first friendly one, what makes him special snowflake and hope for humanity. And Junketsu is still a bastard, but the one you can Override/control.

And then turns out that Kinue is kill because she became a monster.
>>
>>101624485
It's hard to believe that Isshin just luckily came up with a friendly, self-conscious kamui on his first try and never failed before that. It's safer to say Kinue's kamui was a prototype to Senketsu, in which Isshi got the self-conscious part down, but not the friendly part.

Science is a work of progress, after all.

Ragyou walks around all the time with stuff that makes her look like she has been exposed to life fibers.

-Kamui eyes
-Rainbow super hair

Even when she's naked she has this going on. I suspect the scars to possibly be from life fibers being implanted in her body and over time she became influenced by them hence her weird behavior and thoughts of humanity serving the life fibers.

And if you're thinking the life fibers should kill her, yes, they could be doing just that but she's also a Kiryuuin. Nobody can handle 40% uniforms and the average joe goes berserk with a 50%. Satsuki can don a 100% life fiber clothing+ it's a Kamui on top of that making it much worse I'm sure. Kiryuuin's are just superior to others, their bodies can tolerate things most cannot.

I believe this ties into what changes Satsuki as a child from happy and bright eyed to the glacier of will. She sees her family all around her changed by life fibers. And thus plots revenge against them. Everything is just part of the elaborate plot...and Ragyou just revealed the last card that Satsuki wasn't aware of. Satsuki has her forces and knowledge of the First Fiber, she can engage her operation now. Of course, it's just a theory.

I don't think we ever see Satsuki as a happy, bright-eyed child. It seems from the start with Nonon, she was always focused on becoming more powerful.

Also, you would think that if the Kiryuin faily were implanting Life Fibers into their family, they would have already started doing so with Satsuki. However, we've seen Satsuki naked and she bears no scars. So I think this theory is too far-fetched, although it leaves me wondering what the hell those scars on Ragyo are from, and why they both emit rainbow lights.

Senketsu brings up the notion of "was I just waiting for Ryuuko to grow up?" in reference to something Aikuro says.

Also the fiber suits? They look like the ones Aikuro wears in character art. And they would explain his glowy parts. It started to imbed itself in him at one point and he ripped it off but some remains.

She was simply too young to remember his face/voice over the years. Of course he could also not be Aikuro and dead.

Ideologies on everyone?

Ragyou:Domination by life fibers. We serve the life fibers as hosts and feed them.

Ryuuko: Symbiosis with life fibers, we live as equals and friends with them.

Satsuki: Domination of life fibers, enslave them and force them to serve humanity.

Tsumugu: Destroy life fibers outright, let none survive.

Harime: Destruction at the hands of the life fibers. "That's how life fibers should be."

I had the thought that if Nui wasn't Kinue then maybe she was a child of one of the research scientists at Isshin's lab or some other think-tank that Ragyou was using. Everything goes horribly wrong and she's forever traumatized by it. Maybe does in fact wear the 3rd Kamui but it can't do anything to her because her mind is shattered.

The perfect way to take out Ryuuko would be to just walk up to her disguised as Mako...

Or maybe we can get some Ryuuko fanservice while at the same time preserving her by having Nui parade around as Ryuuko at some point for some reason

I also had the thought that maybe Satsuki never sent Nui to investigate/take anything from Isshin, not really. What if that was Satsuki's attempt at getting rid of Nui and it backfired?
>>
>>101626297
Or it could be that Nui simply wants to see to it that her Life Fiber race successfully procreates on Earth, just as any biological creature would.

And yeah, she wants everyone to just have fun like her too.
>>
>>101626322
>But Nui doesn't want things destroyed at all. She just wants to have fun
That's exactly how she has fun.

She wants destruction. That's how she plays.

IS IT THRUSDAY YET?
>>
>>101626717
She doesn't want destruction of humans for the sake of destruction; She wants to see the Life Fibers consume and destroy humans, because she is made of Life Fiber herself. It's simple survival - Killing Ryuko would kill the host and the kamui feeding off her would have to find anther one or die.

She could also maybe wrap people in her disguises and puppet them against their will and get Mako killed that way

>>

I didn't say it would happen quick. But nothing ever lasts; The time will come (if Nui/Ragyo/REVOC is successful) when humans are wiped out (or reproduce too much) and the Life Fiber will have to venture outwards to look for more hosts.

Friendship is not as powerful as Trigger is depicting it to be and we all know that because we're all on /a/
>>

>>
>>101627453
Yeah, no...conventional wisdom and the law disagree with you.
>>
>>101627462
What's being implied is simply that friendships aren't as powerful as Trigger depicts them to be. NOT that the writer of the post has absolutely no friends.

When you're on hard drugs, for example, (similar to Ryuko's rage filled case), and a friend knows you are doing them, are they going to run to your side on a see of stars, tell cry and beg you to stop, and calm your heart and make you feel all better just like that?

No.

It's delusional.
>>
>>101627462
Or that you are just pointing out how Mako is annoying and the FRIENDSHIP POWER trope got boring. Her act was funny two first times, but if you try to make a scene a bit more dramatic and then throw Mako there, it just doesn't fucking work.

>To control humans, you must use fear and authority
>The common man is a pig in human clothing - only comfortable but never truly happy or strong (don't you dare refute this, you're on /a/)

That one's an unrealistic theme.
>>
>>101627772
I am a Gurren Lagann fan, and I'll tell you why.

The theme of friendship in Gurren Lagann is spread throughout all 24 or so episodes. It is the main theme of the entire series and is very consistent.

KLK on the other hand, does not have friendship as its main theme, yet it makes such bold claims about it with its character, Mako. This is why I have a problem with it in KLK.

The first thing people like the both of you say when it comes to successful people is that it's luck. The only luck that is to be had with successful people is to who their parents are, since no one can choose what family they're born into.

The problem with this is that you forget about what made the parents whom these lucky people are born into so successful themselves. Were they also just simply "lucky", or did they build a decent family from the ashes of society? If not, then what about their parents, and so forth?

In the end, it's all about building yourself up and preparing for the future. This is only done with determination and self-discipline.

In terms of financial luck, such as winning the lottery, making the right investments out of sheer ignorance; It takes more wisdom than you think to keep the good things flowing. Keep in mind that statistics show that lottery winners and even sports players become ultimately unhappy not so long after their "success".

There are also people with commendable self-discipline who stuck to their goals the whole life and achieved nothing. Why? They were shit out of luck.
>>
>>101628473
Not necessarily. It's not as simple as picking a goal and sticking with it, like most people think. There is room for much error even in the beginning processes of progress towards success. For one, the goals an individual chooses must be clear, hierarchal, and realistically necessary. Secondly, self-discipline itself is a complex system of mental behavior that is taught primarily in childhood, and very difficult to be taught by oneself. There is much room for error in this particular compartment as well, such as analyzing all your behaviors and executing the right ones on a consistent basis.
>>
>>101628659
And yet you can still lose because you were out of luck.
>>

Go play Fallout with minimum and maximum luck. Then we will talk.
>>
>>101628677
Well at this point in the argument you're simply being pessimistic. Things happen for a reason. Keep in mind, bad luck is just as rare as good luck, and should therefore not be a determinant in the case of every unsuccessful man.
>>
This thread is a perfect example why speculation threads should be a bannable offense. You bring in worse retards than those found on TvTropes.
>>
>>101628746
The stroke of luck is always needed, no matter how much devotion you've had for making your life just right.
The thing that all successful people have in common is that they didn't miss their window of opportunity. Because luck was on their side. No fire destroyed their research, they didn't fall ill, they didn't get doublecrossed by subordinates. They were lucky, as compared to those who strived all life just to fail in the end because they weren't lucky enough.
>>
>>101628727
I don't vidya, sorry. I've had enough experience just like anyone else on this damn planet with calculating the likelihood of certain possibilities and I can say that objectively, possibilities CAN be calculated and wise decisions can be made.
>>
>>101628838
Proper building construction prevents fires. Healthy lifestyles (sex, diet, exercise) prevents illness, well-developed social skills prevents being double-crossed by subordinates.

Is every man in the world perfect? No. But that doesn't mean he can't fight against what you would call "bad luck, the entity which keeps all weak men down on this god-forsaken planet". This way of thinking is weak, just an excuse most of the time, and simply pessimistic.
>>
>>101629039
nothing prevents a brain tumor, nothing prevents people being cunts, and there is no way to prevent a fire if you're down on your luck.
it's stupid to rely on luck only or to blame it for failure, but you cannot just think that with enough dedication and hard work you'll get shit right.

My god, I already said we're not perfect, and we're most certainly limited by space and time. No, we can't fully counter brain tumors, as a brain tumor is a more complicated scenario than say, preventing ourselves from catching a cold. And I'm pretty sure fires are less destructive with our preventative measures than before. When was the last time I fire destroyed huge sections of a well built city? Or when was the last time a fire wiped out an entire village? It's extremely rare.

One thing's for sure it's certainly not people with your attitude who are allowing us to progress this far in the world of technology and science.

a minor fire, equipment malfunction, small-scale natural disaster can still fuck up your years of hard work and devotion. people being cunts can do that to you too, as i've learned first hand.
believing in yourself and maintaining your resolve and working hard is never enough. you need luck, be it being lucky not to get hit by a stray brick or to suddenly get inspired by something enough to progress your work further.
