Why are there no decent anime reviewers anywhere?
>all of them are American
>Niggers or bitches
>I CANNOT DECIDE MY OWN ANIMU
>NEED OTHERS TO DO IT FOR ME¨
Do you Americans even think for yourself?
I can start reviewing for fun, but you need Google+ now and I don't want that.
Why are you so fucking retarded that you need other people to feed you opinions?
It's pretty easy to download an anime a try it yourself, so reviews aren't as necessary.
Contrast with vidya. While you CAN pirate it, unless you mod your 360/PS3 you couldn't play it, Wii is Dolphin-able to some, and current gen can't be done.
More anime reviewers would probably just be MAL-tier anyway.
Why would you watch anime reviewers?
why you need anime reviewers? just lurking more download a tons of shows and watch it.
Veronin on MAL writes pretty good reviews.
Why do you need to watch anime reviews?Do you really not know how to deduce whether a show will appeal to you or not?
Fuck off retard.
>needing anime reviewers
>watching le stupid jewtoob celebs with shittu editing and shouting
Kill yourself. This is a /v/ tier thread. Thankfully because the medium is eastern even retards don't take amateur fans making shitty videos seriously so no one does it like with videogames. And we are all very grateful for it
Used to review, had to stop because work. Also, think the only reason anyone was watching was for the accent.
I'd recommend SFDebris personally, nice guy, very thoughtful. Doesn't do a lot of anime reviews since he mostly does sci-fi stuff, but his anime ones so far are always very interesting and it's good change from the usual reviewers acting like they're mad or making self-indulgent plots about themselves.
Reviews are always better when they're not done as recommendations. I enjoy watching the sort where they presume you've already watched it and want to look at the series in a discussion kind of way.
This is more what is was leaning towards, videos or editorials that deconstruct and analyse the work.
Why would we need reviewers? I mean we can review stuff here and you can even call out idiots. If some faggot makes a dumb review on jewtube you can't really call him out on his faggotry. Why would you want that?
I want to see if an anime is worth my time or if there's a good reason why I should stick out a slow beginning or boring middle.
Why should I spend my time watching a 50+ episode series on a whim?
How about you spend the time lurking /a/ instead of watching some fat american cunt stroke their cock on youtube? You can discern whether a show is worth watching from threads pretty easily.
RIP Grumpy Jiisan
Fucking this. Concise, varied opinions. With reviewers you just get this one guy's take on things.
Why do so many black people make anime reviews on youtube? I try to look for a particular scene from an anime on youtube and 90% of the results are these shitty anime "reviews" which are basically some black guy spouting his dumb opinion for 10 minutes. Most of them use thumbnails from the anime so I click them by accident, it's fucking annoying. Most of them don't even go past 500 views, I don't get why these fuckers think people care about their shit videos.
>It's shit, don't bother.
>It's good, but the ending shit the bed.
>The quality drops after x arc.
>It ends on a cliffhanger, S2 never.
>Worst girl wins.
>tfw you find out that he was a convicted sex offender
If I were to start reviewing, I definitely would pick blogging over sperging out on youtube for everyone to see.
or worse, like this slave.
>particular scenes from anime
I had an idea about this. Use mkvcleaver to clip out my favourite scenes from anime and upload to youtube.
For starters, anime is less popular than movies or games, so there are fewer reviewers and thus fewer good reviewers. Kind of like books. Secondly, unlike gaming, anime is a linear and usually story-based medium, which makes it hard to do a review without either spoiling too much or resorting to vague statements like "this is good/bad, you should/shouldn't watch it".
Plus you can get anime very easily via torrent or streaming services, so many people will just go straight to that. A 12 episode series isn't a huge time investment anyway.
You've obviously never felt watchers remorse.
It's called lurking, googling, and using the 3/4 eipsode rule. No need for niggers and attentionwhores to make money from stupid ass 'reviews'.
not everyone has that much time in the time in takes me to google a ton of info an on anime I can breeze through 3-4 youtube reviews
Knowing what you dislike is better than not knowing what you like. Watching a bad anime lets you know for sure that it was bad, whereas you can never truly tell just by watching a review.
You can also watch a few episodes, ask around "I didn't like X but want more of Y, will it get better?", and on that basis drop it or keep watching. It's not like most anime reviews tell you anything meaningful.
not everyone has that much time to read your shitty threads
How the fuck does it take longer to google things over watching multiple youtube videos?
after you google something you have to read it some anime reviewrs write long ass artilces it's musch easier to watch a video than read it's anime not school work
>it's musch easier to watch a video
Maybe if you're illiterate. A written review allows us to at least skim through it to see if it has any value.
I like Demolition D
Don't lie to us.
I think he's a huge weeb and I don't get his attraction to ecchi stuff but I think he's self aware and pretty funny myself. Most of the shows he reviews I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole though.
>Why are there no decent anime reviewers anywhere
Because the reviewers get freebies from the vendors and thus some of the reviews are pandering such as those by Beveridge. Also, in order to keep on getting access to official meeting rooms (before and after events), one has to maintain a good standing. Giving a lot of unsupporting reviews won't cut it.
For a long time, one of the better fan-based review sites was THEMreviews. If I need reviews, I will read those at bakabt.me and for the series they don't cover, I will go take a look at wikipedia for an overview. That usually provides enough info to let me know if I want to take a look at the series or not. In general, I don't like "reviews" in forums like 4chan because too many people here think it is "kewl" to give a negative review. Or they are frustrated at life so they give a negative review just to spread their misery around. I don't need or want that kind of dumping on me. It's not my fault they are too unsociable to have friends with which to blow steam off.
