/a/, why can't I into shonen anime?
It's not that I don't like shonen, I can easily get into shonen manga but majority shonen anime I try to watch, I just can't get into at all.
I just find it awkward, shonen to me feels incredibly awkward when animated. The cliches just don't work for me.
>The over the top expressions
>The constant inner monologue
>The inevitable expressed sighs from characters after some drama or embarrassing moment
>The must have over the top, screaming at the top of their lungs argument between characters
>The sudden stall in action or suspense because a character needs to explain something to themselves and the audience, using their inner voice
Those are just a few of the cliches that really tire me out. How can I like
Simple answer, only retards will spends time watching 500 episode of the shit they already have read.
But really, stop trying to fit it. You probably have too many conversation with people on /a/ who believe in said shit. Read your shit and don't watch it if you don't want to, and stay quiet.
Suppose, but a lot of the shonen I've watched has been series I haven't read, but all the same effects.
/a/ is not your blog.

This, why spend 24 min watching a single ep/chapter of the series at the same frame rate when you can read the series with a higher image detail and quality
