I like this show, I want to make a thread about this show.
Nobody cares, A Certain Scientific Accelerator is the new hotness.
I like Mikoto, I am going to post a picture of her.
Am I the only one who gennualy feels bad for flower head girl? (don't judge me I suck at names) I mean, her power is keeping things at a stable temperature, I'm sure she'll really come in handy when the world depends on her keeping the food warm.
Am I the only one who genuinely feels bad for flower head girl? (don't judge me I suck at names) I mean, her power is keeping things at a stable temperature, I'm sure she'll really come in handy when the world depends on her keeping the food warm.
I felt bad when she was raped.
Also protip: She's theoretically stronger than Accelerator.
We all like Mikoto, here's a nice Mikoto wallpaper.
No she isn't. Her power might be if it was at level 5, but its not and probably never will be thanks to the Parameter List.
Besides, if you want to talk hypotheticals you might as well bring in Accel reaching SYSTEM.
There's a lot of people whose power is theoretically stronger than accelerator's, the problem is none of them are ever going to get past level 3.
That's pretty bright. Have any subtle, earth-tone Mikoto?
After all these years she still remains one of my favorite waifus.
>Impying SYSTEM is still a power level
Uiharu is a living example of why powers are overrated. Her power is so worthless that she might as well be a level 0, the same as Saten, yet she's still way more useful than Saten because she spent time developing her computer skills. She's far more useful as a hacker and researcher than she'd ever be with her power.
That's delightful, added to wallpaper rotation.
Glad to be of service
Being able to keep her computer at a constant temperature sounds dead useful for a techno wizard like Uiharu.
She'd have to sit there with her hand touching the CPU for it to be of any use. And I'm not exactly a whiz at computers, but that sounds like a bad idea.
Her powers are more useful on a personal level. She's no combat fighter esper.
She'd make a hell of a blacksmith but other than that I don't see homeostasis as very useful.
Nope, she just needs to rest her leg on it. That's extremely useful.
Cute electric meido pikachu.
I want one of these.
Do you wish you could live in Academy City?
I know I do.
It's great if you're a level 5. Otherwise....
Why is she so perfect?
Did the artist just not have enough guts to draw Gunha?
I'm glad someone added him. Now it's complete save the 6th ranked level 5.
>Biribiri blushing and being meek
And she's the only one not using her ability.
They must be posing for Touma. That must be it.
It's worse if you're a Level 5. Or is severe psychological trauma not considered a bad thing these days?
Hamazura had some messed up circumstances, but at least he doesn't have Accelerator's life.
The fuck are you talking about?
Level 5's have it even shittier than those Level 0's due to all the SCIENCE and dirt they have to participate in, the only one who has it real good is Misaka and Gunha, and well Sisters arc happened so it's really only Gunha
She probably saw Touma.
If you want to get into Index you're gonna have to deal with that a lot.
if only for Yomikawa. Also to shoot stray magicians in the face.
And thats mainly because Gunha is a looney and no one can figure out how his power worka so they gave up on studying it.
That's my theory, heh.
I didn't meant that was bad or anything. Just found it strange until I figured she saw Touma or something. Biribiri being strong and cool normally but embarrassed and worked up when Touma is around is one of the highlights of the series.
Being able to do what you want without consequence is quite the privilege. The dark side of AC using you/dragging you into the darkness can be avoided if you're smart enough. Mikoto made the mistake of letting AC used her gene map, that's why she got caught up in it. Or if you're lucky, you can be like Gunha.
The openings were all pretty good.
Other than S2 OP2, I didn't like that very much.
>Watching Railgun S past episode 16
Not posting this version of sister's noise
What happens if Febri is canon?
It's not. Nothing in Nagai Space is canon.
>but embarrassed and worked up when Touma is around is one of the highlights of the series
I dislike that. I also dislike Touma.
And if you were in Mikoto's shoes, you could have avoided that? Would you have been able to see through those scientists' lies when you were five?
>can be avoided if you're smart enough
It doesn't matter how smart you are, if AC wants you to do a job, then they'll use everything they know about you (which is pretty much literally everything about you) as a tool for manipulation, they can take away everything and there's nothing you can do about it, unless you're named Accelerator and have just survived WW3, or you're Shiage and have the Parameter List
>not posting /a/'s version of only my railgun
I haven't watched it yet, should I watch it?
Powers don't change at level 5, they just get more potent. meaning all that would happen is she becomes even better at keeping things the same temperature that they already are. Useless.
I like you and your thread OP
>I haven't watched it yet, should I watch it?
No, read the Index LN and Railgun manga instead.
Would you adopt a clone and raise her as your own?
Not your cup of tea. Understandable. Personally, I'm not fond of Touma as a character. However, I do enjoy the Touma disease moments.
yfw Zappy dan and Touma's Christmas deito
I would make her my imouto.
It's terrible compared to the source material. It omits interesting things; inserts a load of moeblob that contradicts the storyline; no more anime of it ever again.
Just read the manga.
Someone has not read the LNs
Forget growing up. t want to live in it during my time as a teen instead. I'm always the cynical time, so I should okay.
Sure, you can't escape the grasp of AC and Aleister's plans, but it still should be possible to not be part of the darkness. At least, Mikoto isn't bad off herself despite being a level 5.
Reminder STUDY guy was so bad at everything, if he had fired the shot it would've just taken out his lower jaw.
Anyone here have good screencaps/pics of Mikoto using her powers? Preferably on a grand scale or involving lots and lots of electricity?
True. I'm reading his wiki page right now.
It does not reflect well on his character. Feels like a fanfic writer wrote him up.
It's possible they wouldn't accept you.
I've never heard of an Esper getting admitted into the Power Curriculum Program in their teens. All of the examples we know of entered as young children.
Touma was explicitly stated to have entered immediately after graduating Kindergarten.
Both Accelerator and Mikoto entered well before their teen as well.
Same with Saten, Kuroko and Uiharu.
According to Misuzu, adults can't become Espers, so it's possible that there's some sort of age limit for when you can start the program. The fact that every example we've seen started from extremely early age seems to cement that idea.
My theory is that at an early age, your brain is still in the process of development. If you're too old, your brain's development has already completed and thus it's too late for any alterations.
>Not appreciating the TouMAN
It bothers me.
Saten x Sparky OTP
>Judging based from wiki readings
I'm currently watching the first couple episodes of Index and I'm getting tired of all the epic speeches about the importance of mamoru and nakama.
It feels like I'm watching a shitty version of naruto. Does this get better anytime soon?
>I'm reading his wiki page right now.
>It does not reflect well on his character. Feels like a fanfic writer wrote him up.
Read the damned LNs instead of the wiki
what fresh new hell is this?
How comfortable are Kanzaki's thighs?
It seems that you accidentally watched the wrong series, Index's main character has black spiky hair, and is a highschool aged male, rather than being a brown haired, lightning shooting female middleschooler
I thought I was the only one who ship MiSaten.
If I had to make an estimate I would probably say somewhere between the Gate of Heaven and Bed Bath & Beyond.
Love this picture.
Biri's a pimp.
Probably just about comfy enough.
>It feels like I'm watching a shitty version of naruto.
Welcome to Index.
Have a trip to Touma's wiki page, you'll find similarities between him and Naruto.
Strange, I thought I remember that espers existed outside of AC. Very, very little since most grow up or live in AC, but there are espers out there not from AC. Or am I only imagining that?
>“Of course it bothers me. Of course it bothers me!! What was I doing all that time? I didn’t want some huge sum of money and I didn’t want to make my own kingdom with a ridiculous amount of power. I just wanted to wake up in my dorm, make food for Index, go to school, and hang out with my friends after school. I just wanted that normal life back. So why do I have to be treated like an absolute evil!? That’s ridiculous. Othinus saved every last one of the six billion people on earth to make me suffer. There’s something seriously wrong with her sense of scale! Why the hell do I have to go through all this? What was I calling misfortune!? I had always managed to slip past all that and used every trick I had to reach a compromise. I had managed to strike a nice balance! But she destroyed it all. Of course it bothers me! Even if it’s meaningless and no one else cares who it is as long as they’re saved, it still bothers me!! I coughed up blood and shed tears to somehow make my way along that path, but Othinus easily did it like it was just a game! She stole everything from me!!
>She stole everything I had – even the path I walked down – and she did it so skillfully that I feel stupid complaining about it!! What the hell was that? If she could do that, why didn’t she save everyone in the first place!? If that was an option, why didn’t she use it more seriously!? And I doubt it will even last that long. Once Othinus gets bored, she’ll just destroy this world too. If you can easily create something, you have no problem with destroying it. But I can’t create anything better than this. It doesn’t matter what complaints I make when she can give everyone a smile with a wave of that lance. And this isn’t someone else deciding that it doesn’t matter. It’s me! Me!! She showed me it doesn’t matter if I oppose her!! It’s all a deception created to corner me, but it doesn’t matter to me if it’s all fake!! It’s almost like a game to her, but the smiles she’s given Index and the others are something I could never give them even after a century of hard work. I couldn’t do it without inventing a time machine, but she did it without even trying. Am I supposed to stand up to that!? Why did someone like her have to appear in front of me!? If she was going to do this, couldn’t she do it on the other side of the planet? No, why couldn’t she create this paradise on the moon or Mars and be happy there!? She could leave all the people here alone and create a new human race on a desert planet she made livable!! …I don’t want to fight anymore. I don’t want to oppose a monster like that.
What would Kuroko's thoughts be if she thought Saten is into Mikoto and thought she would try and steal her away?
>I was never fighting because I wanted to. It’s just that I always saw someone holding back tears in some horribly painful situation. Even if they cried and cried, no one would have complained, but they put up with it anyway. …And I couldn’t allow it to go on. I clenched my fist like an idiot, charged in, and somehow resolved the incident. I didn’t do it to be thanked. I didn’t do it because I wanted anything in return. But overcoming those things increased the number of people around me. I began to think those connections with people had some kind of meaning!! And this is where it got me. I had everything taken from me. As you said, someone might rush over for my sake if they knew. They might cast everything aside and join me even if it meant making an enemy of this entire world run by Othinus. But! That doesn’t matter!! It never mattered. That tiny illusion is not worth abandoning this miraculous situation where lost lives have returned. I wanted to have fun with everyone some more. I never bothered to realize how comfortable my position was. If nothing had happened yet and Othinus suggested bringing back all those lost lives, I would probably have rejected it based on some random ideal or another. I would say their deaths had meaning or that you can’t toy with people’s lives so easily! But she’s already done it. To ‘return things to normal’ now would be no different from killing those unknowing and smiling people with my own hand!! No matter how many excuses you make, that fact does not change.
There are natural-born Espers called Gemstones.
>A decision that I make would kill every last one of them!! There’s…there’s nothing I can do. What good is it to take away this world without crime, debt, or broken hearts!? Even if I defeated Othinus, returned everything to normal, and justly slaughtered everyone who shouldn’t be alive, would I really return to the world I picture in my head? How would I ever face the people who are living their normal lives, ignorant of what had happened? Could I really just smile? Could I really smile like an ignorant fool when I really knew the truth!! Like hell I could!! Nothing would remain for me either way. Whether I defeat Othinus or not and whether I live or die, I can’t return to ‘normal’!! No matter what happens and no matter how this ends, there is no way for me to succeed. Even if I don’t ‘fail’ in whatever I choose to do, I will still have complaints and it will all fall apart in the end. In that case, there’s no reason to fight!! Why should I destroy this miraculous situation!? If every path leads to destruction, why not just accept Othinus’s victory? Why not let the number of people saved decide it!? Who saved more people, me or Othinus? The answer is obviously Othinus!! I knew from the beginning I couldn’t hold a candle to what she did!! What else can I do? After…after everything she’s done, there’s nowhere left for me to go!!!!!!”
Needs an update.
Jesus Christ, the rant didn't seem that long on the Wiki...
It's 4 pages long in the LN, son.
>we'll never know what happened between Fallen Ero Maid and Touma
There's an unpublishable draft of it somewhere. Trust in the kamachi.
I thought this was a Railgun thread?
Railguns being Railguns.
Looking kinda like Taiga there. Would take home.
>Yamato Nadeshiko never wins in anything
At least there's the doujins and Index-chu.
All threads go this way anon
It's normal around here. If you're a railgun fan you'll have to deal with your threads derailing into Raildex general.
There's already a General up though.
The funny thing is that there's a Raildex Thread up already.
This is a pretty rare occasion. Usually threads like this turn into turn a raildex general but there's enough railgunfags here to start a discussion.
So who is best girl?
Will of the Misaka Network.
From left to right: Mistress, Marry, Ignore, Befriend
Biribiri has my vote.
Flustered Kanzaki a moe. Then we get all those delicious dere-dere scenes... why hasn't she been around for so long?
>Railguns being Railguns
>I have no friends, just some aquaintances
>I spend all my time being a stalker
>So who is best girl?
Let's be honest anon, the discussion in this thread is long dead already
Same as >>101613230
>This fucking disgusting /u/ thread
We already have a Raildex thread up, there's no need for this shit. I mean for fucks sake, there's been MikotoXSaten posted.
Because she's largely irrelevant, sadly. Heck, I'm a Yomikawa fan, see how that might feel?
Any combination is fine with that.
Bleh. I meant the other way around.
>I have no friends, just some aquaintances
>I spend all my time being a stalker
You can go to the Raildex thread to troll, you know. Quit trying to hijack OP's perfectly decent thread, dude.
I wish she had more art.
Definitely the Will.
The Will of the Misaka Network is the amalgamation of all MISAKAs that exist and existed. Thus, she is wherever there is a MISAKA, there is the Will. There have been multiple MISAKAs in Railgun. Ergo, Will was always there. Thus Will-tan is a Railgun, and thus Will-tan is the best girl.
Sticking to the classic.
Ayep. All the women don't get nearly enough love.
Why is Will-chan so damn good?
Railgun - Mikoto
Index - Birdway
Nagai did nothing wrong.
I see anons from the Raildex general have made their way to this thread.
She is the amalgamation of 20,001 girls.
If one MISAKA is a Best Girl, then 20,001 MISAKAs is Best Girl x20,001.
You do know that most people who've read or watched Railgun have also read or watched Index, right?
And one more for Yomikawa, because that's literally all the decent pictures I have.
This is /a/. Expect people who have read and watched both to be in here. If you want a railgun only thread, go to /u/.
God, what was even the point of that Glasses Anti-Skill? Why the hell did they devote an entire episode to an utterly minor an insignificant character like her?
And since someone else already started the weirdo pairing game.
Of course. I'm not implying anything like that. It's just burst of posters increased sharply, and it's quite noticeable. Before the who's the best girl post, there were only a handful of posters in here. Not over a dozen.
And it's possible to have a Railgun without going /u/.
When you're balls deep in Nagaispace, you learn to stop asking questions and just shake your head disapprovingly to yourself.
>And it's possible to have a Railgun without going /u/.
Shop for highest quality, /a/.
Mikoto is a bitch, I hope no more anime gets made featuring her
Without the anime, not really. You can try, but it will always end up becoming a raildex thread.
Not after NT10 got released. Expect any Index related thread to turn into Othinus and Waill-tan threads.
NT10 fucking when?
more flustered kanzaki?
Index and Railgun are deeply interconnected. It's difficult to talk about one without delving into the other.
Railgun especially because it's a side story to Index, and a lot of what goes on in it is directly affected by incidents or concepts introduced in Index. Furthermore, Touma, the protagonist of Index, is a major character in Railgun, being an important factor in two of the Railgun's three major arcs.
Do you even read the source material?
That was one of the better filler episodes. Just having a change of focus is nice in Nagai's fanfic, even if it is still awful.
Mikoto has friends. She isn't a stalker either, that's what trolls called her back during WWIII.
>She isn't a stalker either
But that's wrong buddy.
It was boring as fuck.
I spend the entire episode going "...What is even the point of this episode? Why should I care about this character? This episode has given me no reason whatsoever to think of this character as anything other than a minor and unimportant background element. Her life is utterly meaningless to both the story, the setting and me. She's not a friend, or even a casual acquaintance of the main character. She is literally just a side character that the protagonist had maybe a minute's worth of contact with." So on, so forth.
Tsumichado is such a bro, but at the same time he seems to sink any chance of shipping.
Touma's pretty much the de-facto MC in the Railgun manga. It's only in Level Upper and the LNs where Misaka's the MC.
At least there was more Yomikawa in that episode.
I'd say he's more of a deuteragonist.
And honestly, in the Daihaseisai arc, Misaki has a larger character role than him. Misaki is to the Daihaseisai arc what Touma was to the Sisters arc.
Talking about Index in a Railgun thread should be expected. They do go together no matter what.
The one thing I'd fault is the obvious attempt to hijack this thread. That is, the poster who keeps dumping Kanzaki, Yomikawa, etc for no reason.
>Touma's pretty much the de-factor MC in the Railgun manga. It's only in Level Upper and the LNs where Misaka's the MC.
I've never seen full reverse trolling in the indexverse before. This'll be something.
>Implying her power isnt cryokinesis
>Implying she doesnt just suck using it so she can only keep things in stable temperatures
When was the late time she did something remotely close to stalking? Heading out to search for Touma and help him when WWIII happen doesn't equate stalker, yet some people like to call it that hence trolling.
What, me? Not hijacking, complaining. I know there's maybe one or two people who actually like the same characters and they'll never get good art. Have a clone.
Yea, that is kinda annoying.
Well technically Kuroko should be able to beat Accel too
Disappearing and appearing at some other place should be skalar
>I spend the entire episode going "...What is even the point of this episode?
And you didn't feel that way about the beach episode? Once Nagai starts writing, everything becomes pointless.
>Misaki has a larger character role than him
It's a shame she's become more of an infodump device (I was amused when she said as much about Gensei), she's still gonna need TouMAN and GUTS to save her.
It's alright. I've seen worse.
I see. Well then, carry on, anon. But let's not go overboard.
Why Mikoto x Accel seems so wrong but at the same time, so good?
There's nothing to carry on with. I've already exhausted the art available for those side characters. Regardless of that, Yomikawa's in both Index and Railgun and stripper professor is a Railgun exclusive, so they're just as valid for discussion, praise, or derision.
Well, I'm sure there's some more Kanzaki art that could be dug up, but I haven't been collecting it. the red jacket was the best part of the shitty ending to S
Railgun has a similar setup to Index.
In Index, the protagonist is usually (but not always) Touma. However, the heroine changes depending on the volume. In Vol.1, the heroine was Index, but in Vol.3 it was Mikoto, and in Vol.19 it's Lessar.
In Railgun, it's the same.
In the Level Upper arc, the main "hero" is Mikoto while Saten is the "heroine" who has the second-largest non-villain role due to her possession and usage of the Level Upper.
In the Sisters arc, the "hero" for the first 2/3rds of the story is Mikoto while the Sisters are the "heroines". Then there's a shift in the final 1/3rd where Touma becomes the secondary "heroine", even though he's the one fighting the main villain; the situation is similar to how Accelerator was the one to defeat Musujime in Vol.8 even though Kuroko was the "hero" of that volume, or how Kanzaki and the Amakusas were the ones to fight Acqua for most of the last battle in Vol.16 and Touma only shows up at the very end. Touma is basically playing the same role Kanzaki played here.
And now it's the Daihaseisai arc. Much like the Sisters arc, Mikoto played the role of "hero" throughout most of the story, and Misaki's the "heroine". After Mikoto gets hacked, there's a perspective switch and Misaki becomes the "hero" and Touma is the secondary "heroine".
Even assuming something stupid like that, people are still retarded for even thinking Uiharu could somehow be stronger. For one, Level 5's don't have full scope of their power. And even if they did, Vector Transformation (Aka fancy telekinetic) is far more basic then Thermodynamics. In fact, Electromagnetism is much more basic than thermodynamics. Uiharu wouldnt even be better than Mikoto, if assuming everyone had infinite processing/computational speed.
You realize that almost three quarters of the students in AC are just Level 0 and that the average level is probably around level 1 at most?
The largest part of the student base has pretty useless powers.
No she isn't. Her power is keeping things at the same temperature, and there are probably limits in terms of size. When people raise their level their powers don't change, just the scale of their powers changes.
Wait, what happened? Have I missed something?
I'm not sure about others, but for me I'm fond of Mikoto and Kuroko being together, but not romantically. I like their intimate kouhai and senpai relationships and Kuroko going all crazy over Mikoto. But I wouldn't have them go yuri, not that I'm against yuri but they're simply more enjoyable with the current status quo.
>Wait, what happened? Have I missed something?
>I've never heard of an Esper getting admitted into the Power Curriculum Program in their teens.
How about tsutchimikado? He had to be pretty old when he entered since he has a lot of experience with the magic side.
So the more basic the concept the Esper has control over, the greater their power, is that it?
The more specific the power, the less application it has. Thus Uiharu at max power, whose power at the most basic level is "control over temperature", could never match up to Accelerator, whose power at the most basic level is "control over the concept of direction".
That sound about right?
I guess I need details. Seems like I did miss something that happened on /a/.
You missed a lot
Also KamiKoto is dead and Othinus and Will of the Misaka Network are the new hotness.
If I had to guess, Tsuchimikado might be at Birdway level. If Birdway can become the leader of a Magic Cabal at the age of 12, then Tsuchimikado, being a genius, might have been nearly as, or even just as amazing as she is.
I guess. It's more of the fact that Accelerator (with infinite processing) could literally do anything Uiharu (with infinite processing) could do. Electromagnetism is one of the 4 fundamental interactions of the Universe, and is capable of encroaching over anything Thermodynamics entails.
So it's more like they could have Uiharu's power + whatever else, assuming they have infinite processing and full range of their powers. Which is a stupid assumption to begin with (no level 5 has full scope of his or her powers, period), but Uiharu wankers somehow feel the need to assume a theoretical Level 5 Uiharu would be a super special snowflake and have no limits at all. So I just put things in perspective.
Eh, he was good, but I seriously doubt he was ever Birdway tier. She can go super sonic and keep up with Saints. The term "genius" can be misleading. He was probably just really fucking good at that one specific magic. Similar to how Stiyl is considered a genius for developing new rune stuff, despite not being anywhere near the Saint tiers
Yeah, Birdway can fight it out with Saints and can supposedly kill something unkillable through a method of hers which is one her specialties. Her magical knowledge and familiarity also seems vast. She's a few steps higher than Tsuchimikado for sure.
Pretty much. Power level is essentially just a measure of "how useful would you be when fighting". It therefore depends on the scope of the power, the magnitude of the power, and not getting screwed over in the power lottery.
Think Kuroko, whose power is "teleport anything she touches" vs the stronger Awaki whose power is "teleport anything". Awaki is noted as almost qualifying for Level 5. Scope matters.
Think the sisters vs Mikoto. The same scope of their powers, but Mikoto is over 100 times more powerful than a sister. Magnitude matters.
And last but not least, If you get a silly power like "reading mammal minds" or "hold everything you touch at the same temperature", you're never going to get high on the ladder due to the sheer uselessness of the power.
Still, he must've been older than 10 at the time. Probably over 12 too. Problem is that we'll never get a good view of his magic side powers due to him disliking killing himself.
I always like to think of Tsuchi as a Kerry type. Not as powerful as the big guys, but crafty as fuck and isn't afraid to rely on technology to even the odds.
Why do you think he must have been older than 10? He seems to have known Maika for a long time, probably for longer than just a few years.
The most advanced piece of technology Tsuchimikado's ever used was a pistol.
Yea, but I could see him getting his hands on a sniper rifle of some explosives if a job called for it. He plays dirty. And most magicians won't even touch guns, so just using a pistol shows a great deal.
He has no choice. He can't use magic. He'd be severely handicapped if he didn't cheat.
Right. How does that dispute anything I said? He's willing to play dirty to even the odds because he's handicapped otherwise.
It's really the pointlessness of Railgun threads that get me.
And I'm not being mean-spirited when I say that.
I mean, think about it. If you talk about Mikoto, then you're inevitably gonna talk about Index because Mikoto is a major character there. Index has been running for far longer and has way more volumes than Railgun does, and by proxy, Mikoto's involvement in Index vastly trumps the entirety of Railgun put together.
Or let's say you want to talk about the SISTERs then. But it's the same as with Mikoto. The SISTERs just have way more stuff going on in Index, and three major characters directly related to them, Last Order, WORST and the Will have only had (speaking) appearances in Index.
And what about Espers? Once again, Index has revealed way more about Espers, Level 5s and AIM than Railgun ever will. Index as delved into the depths of Acadamy City, while Railgun has barely scratched the surface.
To say nothing of the fact that Touma, a major character of Railgun and one of the greatest core factors in Mikoto's life, is the protagonist of Index.
It is almost impossible to talk about Railgun without talking about Index. The only possible way you could achieve this is if you completely disregard any factors shared by both canons. This means that you'd have to ignore the main protagonist, the SISTERs, Touma, Kuroko, Uiharu, Academy City as a whole including anything related to Espers and even the technology.
The only possible things you could ever talk about if you want to avoid Index in a Railgun disussion are Saten and the filler arcs.
I'd rather Nagai Space has its own thread so I'm fine with things
And what's wrong with that? The guy watched Railgun and wants to discuss Railgun related things. If such things co-inside with Index material then he gets to learn some shit he didn't know and might get interested in exploring Index. Meanwhile fans of both can freely talk about whatever, while Railgun-only fans can be content with discussing the anime. There's only a problem when some militant asshole decides to shit on either side and MAKES it a problem. And you should know better than to respond to that sort of person.
I didn't got shit of what was happening in this arc, so before reading the volume I though I should look at railgun manga but it skips it to the Daihaseisai arc, why is there no mention of this at all?
>why is there no mention of this at all?
There isn't any real need to mention it in Railgun. There's nothing you could cover on the Railgun side of things, and it would just make the manga over convoluted.
Because it's largely irrelevant.
The only thing that really happens in it is that Tree Diagram stays dead. The rest isn't really all that important in the grand scheme of things.
Because there is little what can be added to that arc from the Railgun side, and we really don't need to see EVERYTHING again?
Seriously even in Index we follow Kuroko in this arc. There's not much interesting that they could add here, except maybe how Biri figured out what Awaki was doing.
The only interesting thing happening here is Kuroko getting stabbed and shot causing her to spend the next arcs in a wheelchair.
Me too, I can't wait to watch Railgun SSS. I hope they'll release it faster.
>trick or treat.jpg
It won't happen until after Index 3. So basically never.
Manga isn't really that far from Index II half season so I could see another Railgun season at least even before the next to impossible Index III
Guys, I know who number 6 is.
There isn't any shortage of material anon - there's LAC, Fanfare, Shopping Mall and Daihaseisai that could be adapted; certainly someone who doesn't go for Nagai snailpace could stick them all into one season.
The problem is that they've publicly announced animated adaptations are shelved until further notice. I'd like to think this means they might be fishing for a better team to adapt stuff, but the reality is the sponsors are more interested in promoting their other works. Index has basically plateaued in terms of popularity, so they aren't going to get the increasing returns they'd like to see.
So they're basically...
>This shit is so popular that it wont get us as much money as we would imagine
The manga and the LNs are popular, the anime sell reasonably well (around 20k). The sponsors are more interested in milking stuff like SAO which draw in much bigger sales figures (they're probably expecting Mahouka to do the same, but Madhouse).
Same thing happened to Horizon.
Anime is used to get people to buy the LNs.
Why would they make anime if it didn't get more people interested and the anime itself doesn't really create profit.
But hasn't SAO taken a huge nosedive suddenly? Sales seem to still be going strong but it seems to have dropped in the rankings quite a bit.
Well yeah, why do you think they're suddenly going to animate SAO: GGO
I dunno, I've heard that people aren't pleased with the current arc or something?
I would fug a kuroko
i don't like necrophilia
Raildex seasons 3 never. More based music from based Kawada Mami and fripSide never.
Remember to treat your Mikoto right
Fripside is shit
Im starting to think Kurokos voice actor is the same as Nonon from kill la kill. anyone else?
>Im starting to think Kurokos voice actor is the same as Nonon from kill la kill. anyone else
You can verify the voice actors by looking up the entry at ANN
I think I'm tsundere for Mikoto.
>It’s just that I always saw someone holding back tears in some horribly painful situation.
What? That most certainly is not Arai
>Reminder that the Perfect World had Accelakoto
For me it's been mostly about cameos, even Nagai space had a couple of cool scenes like the Aogami one.
One thing I really like is how people get exposed to magic shit but don't realize it and it's never explained. I wonder if railgun only readers actually bought that AIM burst stuff like it was presented and never wonder about the fucking halo
It's not the Perfect World.
I like you too anon
It wasn't magic at all, unless you're referring to the thelema stuff. The bigger question is if Railgun secondaries made the connection when watching Index II that 10,000 minds were hijacked in the very same fashion to summon FUSE=Kazakiri. I know a lot of people complained about that arc making no sense, but Railgun anime only people were the best equipped to figure it out. Pretty ironic.
>this could have been canon
Honestly from that arc I only remember based Amata wrecking Accelerator to the sound of buttdestroyed fanboys and Touma's final showdown with Vento. I actually can't remember what the pillar shit was supposed to do.
It isn't because Kamachi didn't write anything about her.
Ignore all of them.
The Railgun manga makes it even more clear when Kiyama says "The knowledge to form a brainwave network, I gained it all from you", "you and I are the same" when she's taken away by the cops.
The level upper network was directly based on the MISAKA network.
And then during the daihaseisai arc Gensei makes it clear that he was the one who taught Kiyama the brain wave synchronization technique. Gensei was also the one in charge of the Level 6 shift project.
With Kiyama it's the administrator failing to control it which spawns the AIM burst.
With Last Order hijacked controlling it via a set program, it allows for control of FUSE=Kazakiri. The mechanisms are the same, but Kiyama wasn't aware of this possibility, which makes sense because that was aleisters keikaku. Also the fact that the network was able to perform large amounts of calculations, which matches the sisters assisting Accelerator.
Can't get enough of his laughter
>Scientists ask for the consent of a toddler for an expensive project that requires years of work
I'm still not over this
Friendly reminder that there were only shown as good friends.
It was probably easier to just ask for her to give material for a DNA map instead of having to track her to find enough material to create one.
Even if she said no they probably would have still cloned her
It's probably the one time AC has asked for consent for anything. They probably felt real good about themselves.
Can we talk about how the first half of Railguns S was totally superior to everything else in the series? It just made the second half that much worse. Will we ever get anything that comes close to it again?
It was a masterpiece
They really should animate Daihaseisai Railgun
Mikoto was actually interesting there.
There were atleast three different occasions where an OP was played in the background from start to finish
That just shows how great it was.
What was I just doing?
>Implying if Febri had been a fat middle aged man Academy City wouldn't have been fucked
Well, i've never lost brain cells so fast, I guess that's impressive in a way.
What if... we give a near zero Kelvin cooled sphere to Uihara?
Uiharu freezes to death.
Index I art was pretty bad.
You mean to lvl 5 Uiharu, current Uiharu would only lose her hand.
Level 5 Uiharu can keep this at the same temperature better, that sure is a massive improvement over her current state.
Uiharu couldn't even reach level 5 at all, considering the parameter list.
We don't know the nature of her power, maybe she is just a container in which case nothing of interest would really happen, otherwise she would also reach near zero temperature, or even help freeze the universe faster.
We can't let the headcrab achieve SYSTEM.
I wonder if Uiharu could learn how to keep herself at the same temperature. I mean Kuroko's power is also described as "teleport anything she touches" while Uiharu is "keep anything she touches at the same temperature". She'd get a lot more useful if she could prevent burning herself while handling hot material, and such an expansion in control area has happened to others like Kuroko.
Her power is to keep things she touches at the same temperature, just like Kuroko is to be able to teleport things she touches. There's nothing really complicated about that.
Wha? Kuroko's control area never expanded.
The hard part of teleporting yourself isn't being able to do it, it's being able to do it and not landing inside a wall.
Young Kuroko couldn't teleport herself. It's mentioned quite explicitly in the flashback sequence with the bank robbery. She was able to teleport Uiharu outside, but not herself. She learned that later on, advancing her level to Level 4
The capsule thesis sounds more interesting as it would allow for max or min entropy. Let's assume she has a fermi sphere, nothing apparently happens as she's holding it (that is wrong because the closed vacuum is doing its magic). Then she literally drops the ball, and pomf! A singularity is created, fuck everything she could become the final boss.
Pretty sure destroying/recreating universes a lot > Anything an esper can do ever.
And Othinus isn't even the final boss.
Did you actually read NT9? It explicitly says that she doesn't destroy anything, she just creates filters to view the world.
And destroys them
It's only a technicality though.
The analogy used is representing "destroying a house" as "creating a pile of rubble."
It's time to post best girl
More like deadest girl.
Not even Othinus could bring her back to life.
That's not Mikasa.
Luckily AC already has walls.
Are the walls made of Espers?
Do you know a better way of making Child Errors useful?
You can blow up the city using them.
Feeding the headcrab.
You could just wheel them off to the Kiharas, I'm sure they have some use for them.
If Index became a cannibal she would just eat Touma's arm every day and he would have to keep growing it back.
After having to do that in one of Othinus' world he would dump the headcrab for sure.
>Some clearly cornered Kamijou Touma and attempted to crush him. Strange false accusations were forced onto him and a noose was put around his neck. He was stranded on a mountain with some acquaintances and he was forced to distribute his flesh to the others so they could survive until rescue arrived. He was lying unable to move on a hospital bed and was simply stuck like that all the way to his funeral. He was buried in humus and began to decompose while still alive, starting with the ends of the arms and legs. Earth was rendered unlivable and he was thrown into outer space to wander aimlessly in a capsule-like spaceship. As a puny human, he was destroyed by a giant robot or an asteroid.
>There's nothing really complicated about that.
But how does she keep it? Does she isolate object from environment preventing heating/cooling? Or does she give energy to hot objects and take energy from cold ones?
I bet Touma hates giant robot anime now.
Touma can't hate. It bothers him.
Espers change the laws of physics through their AIM.
Uiharu basically just tells entropy and conservation of energy to fuck off.
You can't just tell them to fuck off, you have to tell them how to do that as well.
>Does she isolate object from environment preventing heating/cooling?
Most accepted theory.
>Or does she give energy to hot objects and take energy from cold ones?
Most obnoxious fanwank comes from here so this option is mostly disregarded.
In the end nobody knows for shure.
Both are best.
>“There is a box here,” said Komoe-sensei as she grabbed a box for chocolates from the floor with her other hand. “Now what do you think is inside, Sister-chan?”
>“Mh. Chocolates of course. Touma has the same kind in his house.”
>“But this box has hard candy inside.”
>“Why would you put that inside…?”
>“Now then, Sister-chan. What is inside this box?”
>“You just said it has hard candy inside!”
>“Yes, but you don’t know unless you open it up. I could have been lying.”
>“So there are now two possibilities: the possibility that chocolates are inside or the possibility that hard candies are inside. Of course, only one of those can be true. However, when we’re just talking about possibilities, both possibilities are jumbled together.”
>Komoe-sensei lightly waved the box of chocolates around.
>“Those two possibilities appear as a single result once the box is opened to check on what the contents are. Originally, the contents had a 50% chance of being chocolates and a 50% chance of being hard candies, but once you look it changes to a 100% chance of being chocolates.”
>Komoe-sensei opened the box and small chocolates were inside.
>“Now then,” she said closing the box again. “Assuming the two possibilities were 50% chocolates and 50% hard candies, what do you think is inside this box, Sister-chan?”
>“??? I don’t really get it, but I saw chocolates in there just now.”
>“Yes. A normal person will choose the 50% chance of chocolates at this point.” Komoe-sensei waved the box around again. “But what would happen if there was a person who could choose the 50% chance of hard candies?”
>“Mhh? Then the contents of the box would become hard cand-…”
>Index trailed off and seemed to have realized something.
>A strange phenomenon outside of the normal would occur.
>“That is the true identity of psychic powers. There are many possibilities in this reality. Among them are the possibility that fire can come from one’s hand and the possibility of reading someone’s mind. Because those 1% possibilities differ from the 99% possibility of the natural thing happening, they can be referred to as supernatural powers.” Komoe-sensei spun around the saibashi. “However, this is also why supernatural powers are not almighty. For instance, in our example there was a 50% possibility of chocolates and a 50% possibility of hard candies, so there was a 0% possibility of gum being inside. These powers cannot be used in places or conditions that have no possibility in the first place.”
>“When we refer to espers, we refer to someone whose ability to view the reality of the 50% chocolates vs. 50% hard candies differs from that of normal people. RPSK Syndrome, commonly referred to as a poltergeist, is caused by children who are no longer able to properly view reality due to trauma or excessive stress. The Ganzfeld experiment used in powers development purposefully seals off the senses in order cut one off from the proper reality.” Komoe-sensei continued to spin the saibashi around. “Espers who are cut off from the proper reality gain a personal reality that differs from ours. As a result, they can distort a micro world using different laws. In other words they gain the power to destroy things without touching them or to see one year into the future by closing their eyes.”
>Komoe-sensei’s words seemed like an otherworldly language, so Index did not understand.
>“The development we carry out is to artificially create personal realities. Simply put, we use things like drugs and suggestions to help cause certain types of damage in the brain.”
AIM of course.
In her personal reality it is that way, so it is that way. That's how espers work.
There is no deeper mechanism. She observes it like that, so it is like that.
Railgun 3 with LAC and Daihaiseisai would be as good, if adapted properly.
Index 3 would be better.
>The birth of Fre and nda
>Acqua, the ordinary magician.
>Biribiri in love
>End of the Century Emperor Hamazura
>Kakine being a glorious winged faggot
>Touma beating terrorists with thermal expansion
>motherfucking Gunha fighting Ollerus
>Tsuchi trolling the shit out of Touma
>Amazing Powered Suit action to make up for Nagaispace
>More of Best Teleporter
>Etzali becoming a Grimoire Slut
New Grimoire haremfu for Etzali when?
That's special tier.
There's going to be plenty of Itsuwa vs. Biri shit going on from the anime-only guys.
Fanfare is canon despite Kamachi not writing anything about it.
Fanfare doesn't fuck with the timeline like the Nagai Space fillers do.
Fanfare had Kamachi look it over to make sure everything fit with the setting, according to Narita. Nagaispace did not.
I want Touma and Acqua teaming up together.
Will it be as bad as Toradora or Oreimo waifu wars?
Breasts are going to be a key point of the discussion.
That is a wretched picture
This art is really awful.
>one of my favorite waifus
For what reason
Nah, I'd prefer this
>she will never see the light of day ever again
You're not even trying.
Her tits aren't that big.
Misaki was flavor of the month, Mikoto is forever.
>Flavor of the month
>people get boners literally every Railgun chapter she shows up in
I like Mikoto and all, but Misaki is far from flavor of the month
If anything, Othinus is flavor of the month.
I am sorry you are right she is more flavor of the arc.
So far, yeah.
Manga relevant characters have the advantage of being shown almost every month, thus they become more memorable and lasting on people's minds.
Compared to novel characters, they show in one or two novels and then fade into the obscurity.
Nagai should make a Mikoto and Saten fuse episode next season.
He made the best loli in the series.
>can't even eat AIM thought beings
>generic piece of shit
Your taste in loli is shit
Nagai can't do anything right
Did she ever LO?
That's not Touma's imouto
>tfw everyone is on about Misaka
All I want is more Gunha, Touma, and Accelerator. Misaka is boring.
I did enjoy most of the anime though, and am up to date on the manga.
Your opinion is boring.
Wait until she grows up.
What should be the best way of distributing episodes for Index 3 so it isn't a rushed mess like Index 2?
>Spy vs Spy vs Spy vs Spy vs Spy
>one or two episodes for SS2 to establish gemstones, Ollerus, Misaka dad and Gunha.
>cliffhanger end with Fiamma assuming direct control and blasting based pope
I believe with this Index 4 would have enough space for England arc and ww3.
They're probably going to try and push the England Arc. They can probably fit it if they ignore SS2.
Are you saying Worst is disgusting?
It's her future anon.
3 for Avignon
4 for Battle Royale
4 for Acqua
6 for Civil War
3 for DRAGON
SS2 are BD specials/Web specials
Man that'd be one hell of a season, specially after Index 2
Now that would be a huge minfuck, everyone starts reading the book of the law like crazy,
Also this as the op
People tend to overestimate WORST though.
She's still nothing compared to Misuzu.
That are no monster tits. That are delicious normal sized tits, not some disproportionate disgusting sacks of fat.
He's right, Mikoto has to stay flat/small since it fits her body perfectly. Worst doesn't have cowtits, she only has C at most and that's fine for her older body.
Shit, anon, this music is perfect.
I hate JC so fuckin' much.
You're short 4 episodes.
Aw shit, he's right.
Well, maybe add an episode back to Avignon and Dragon, and take 2 episodes for SS2.
Or make the Civil War longer.
People with fine tastes.
Battle royale, dragon, civil war and avignon deserve more
I'll shit a brick and kill Nagai with it.
How do I math
Add one episode for Avignon, one for DRAGON, one for Civil War, and one filler Saten episode to end the season
Nah, can add it to Battle Royale.
That's one of the more packed arcs.
>instead of using it for Gemstone, Love Letter, or the SS1 stuff that wasnt covered yet
Nigga this ain't Nagai, you don't need to make up filler for Index.
Saten is now part of keikaku.
I would rather she grows up like Worst than her Mom, C cups are perfect size for me.
Them BDs don't sell themselves man.
Saten is Magic God.
Which means she'll need to cut out one of her eyes and hang herself.
No but instead Saten will stand up to Kakine when he steps on Uiharu and give Accelerator time to run home with his loli so she can fight Awakened Dark Matter without worrying about her surroundings
Battle Royals and Civil war defiantly need one episode more to avoid being a convoluted mess. The other two can go to Avignon and DRAGON
SS2 should still be specials though, I like the idea of having a little Index for the long wait.
Well you seem to be in luck because WORST is quite literally Mikoto in two years. Depends a bit on how much she exercises (which is a lot), but genetics can't lie.
Saten will learn Crowley's omnipresence and Othinus's time travel, and win every ever battle and be perfect. Everyone else will talk about how wonderful she is and how lucky they are to be best friends with her. Then they'll argue with eachother over who loves Saten the most.
Then Touma breaks that illusion.
C-can the touMAN break Cloverfield?!
> literally Mikoto in two years
dat graduation story Mikoto
Well there is the DFC enthusiasts that say it's because of the way they aged her, even though actual Mikoto is not even a true DFC.
That was before Worst was drawn anon.
Based on number of pages it should be roughly
9 Civil war
Extra for remaining material from SS2
Acqua needs more than three, unless you cut Kanzaki vs. Acqua to nothing.
Fitting SS2 into a season feels stupid for me
It's not like the Gemstone incident is that related to anything pre- or during WW3
The constant story changes would also be badly adapted in a 22~ minutes episode
Short specials are best IMO for them
But we're never getting that many short specials
She looks like one. Girls with small mounds still count as pettanko.
I like this guy, hopefully he returns next arc.
We could get 22 Web specials
Or just 12 web specials (every other week) and 8 BD Specials (one each BD), and 2 chapters are axed
The only parts of the gemstone stories that actually would need to be included would be the Sisters grabbimg them, Gunha fighting Ollerus, and Tabigake confronting Crowley. The rest isn't all that important.
The series is clearly following the wrong character
6th is the one taking the photo.
You still need the Kuroko conversation giving exposition on them at the very least, and Kumokawa's decision to get them on AC
I do agree most other chapters aren't that related to the Gemstone Incident but I still think using episodes for the thing when it takes place all over the timeline and is not directly related to anything happening so far in the series is a bit silly
He definitely is more handsome than Touma.
Royale needs more than 4 episodes and Dragon can be resolved in 3.
Test bench case.
De-lidded xeon 1230v2.
Uiharu could take the voltage up to the point where electromigration starts to kill the MOSFETs.
Dem compile times.
1m gentoo install.
Reminder that there never will be a Gunha, Stiyl, Terra, Sasha and Himegami fighting Vampires SS.
>Touma, you're not gutsy enough
>I must inject you with some of my own
Would Gunha find our new Mind of Steel Touma more or less gusty?
>and then Vento takes them casual clothes shopping in Monaco
>memory wiped Izzard owns the shop and helps Stiyl try on some suits
>Stiyl knows fully well who it is and feels bad that Izzard is helping him try on some suits in an attempt to impress Index
Himegami can't fight vampires
There is no "Mind of Steel Touma".
It's the same Touma as always.
She can butcher them, that's the entire point of having her in the group.
Just think of the character interactions.
He's being selfish though.
You can't call him placing his own happiness above that of everyone else in the world business as usual.
Eh, everyone their own tastes.
I'd rather have average, B to C is fine.
She'll just stand there and the vampires will come to her
That's not a fight, there's no build-up, there's no suspense, there's no nothing
Unless a bunch of vampires gang up and find a way to resist the urge of sucking her they're dead the moment she enters their sight
She doesn't really fight them though.
They just die.
>ep1: Touma chat with Oyafune, gottagofast jet, jumping into France, meeting Itsuwa
>ep 2-3: exploring Avignon, Touma's engrish, shit gets real with non Nagai powersuits, Mikoto call, first Terra fight
>ep4: final Terra showdown, Accelebomb, Mikoto knows
>ep5: super Hamazura enters the scene, Item in Index, assassination attempt against Oyafune
>ep6: first fights, should have Hamazura running away with Rikou, Fre nda end.
>ep7-8: Hamazura vs Meltdowner, Etzali and Awaki's fights
>ep9: Dark Matter vs Accelerator, DRAGON end.
>ep10: Itsuwa and Touma in AC, Acqua appears at the end
>ep11: Touma getting reck't by a normal magician, Amakusa preparations and start of Acqua fight
>ep12: Acqua fight, Touma wakes up, Mikoto scene
>ep13: end of battle, double Jesus goes boom
>ep14-20: honestly so much shit happened I can't remember the exact order. It should have a saint George prologue for the first episode covering the second england volume and one episode for Acqua vs Knight leader because it was cool
>ep21: Hamazura SoL, GROUP shenanigans
>ep22: shit gets real, Mugino returns cliffhanger
>ep23: Hamazura vs Meltdowner: electric boogaloo
>ep24: assault on powerarmor director's base, Aiwass, credits with everyone going to Russia.
Must not make Chuck Norris joke
Except that Gunha isn't going to figure out that the vampires are attacking them because of her, and he won't listen to her telling him that everything will be alright if she just lets them bite her.
But thats the exact opposite of Mind of Steel. Shirou chose to kill Sakura and win the war for the sake of the world, not his own happiness.
>assault on powerarmor director's base, Aiwass, credits with everyone going to Russia
That's not gonna fit into a single episode.
Worst is C so she will get there eventually.
Now if only this season had the quality of Railgun S, it would be perfect.
It won't though.
Another shitty Index adaptation
>ep23: Hamazura vs Meltdowner: electric boogaloo
The second Etzali fight has to go in there somewhere as well.
If memory serves, isn't it mostly Accelerator vs bodyguards, Etzali vs Aztecs, then Accelerator getting reck't? The epilogue would be a problem though since it's so important...
>isn't it mostly Accelerator vs bodyguards, Etzali vs Aztecs, then Accelerator getting reck't?
Sure, but I can't see all of that being done in 22 minutes.
Op here, how the fuck did I make a big thread?
Then maybe spreading the Hamazura fight to the second half of 22 and first half of 23, while leaving the rest to the second half of 23 and all of 24?
Once a Raildex related thread 404s people migrate to the next one.
Ezali vs Aztect could be at the end of 23, so Accel and Aiwass get the full 22 minutes.
Raildex General 404'd, people went over here and turned it into a pseudo-general.
Which would piss more people off?
Gunha or Kuroko winning the T?
Kuroko, because she's the deadest character in the entire series.
Everyone is still riding on the NT9 high.
Kuroko winning the Gunha would piss me off most.
NT9, and 4 parody story high
Kuroko, Misakafags' mad would be essentially double, plus /u/ would throw a bigger shitfest than /y/
Do you not like necrophilia anon?
GUTS > Death
Isn't Kansaki realizing her feelings for washing machine in SS2? They already started tbpgat arc, they should finish it.
I know it will never happen, but my heart felt desire is to see misaka give kuroko a kiss as some sort of thank you for saving her life or something... well off to /u/
Yes, as is the place for your kind.
Kuroko is gonna win da Tomato Bowl you turbo nerd.
When will Touma molest one of the girls while drunk, and then have to take responsibility?
He doesn't have to be drunk
He already squeezed Misaka's biribiri's when he thought she was Thor
I can't help but smile every time Misaka railguns somebody, especially that bitch from the end of S1
Why not threesome Kamigunkuro ending?
Kuroko would be too jealous of Touma and Mikoto would be too jealous of Kuroko.
Also Touma would be dating a girl 3 years and 2 years younger than him respectively. Aogami would never let him live it down.
>That first railgun scene
What would happen if Touma discovered a bunch of homo doujins starring himself and Gunha in Mikoto's room?
I want to impregnate Biribiri.
But they even fucked that up.
Nagai made her do it because she was pissed about Saten getting beat up.
Originally she did it because someone spilled her fucking ice cream.
Level 5s are insane and I love it when that's showed.
I wonder if they'll ever make an animated version of the VN that isn't them just being cute and eating cake/hotpot.
That would be pretty neato if it existed.
sorry Light Novel not Visual Novel.. my mistake.
>not reading the linked posts
>thinking the gun is about Misaka
What if, there was a time travel esper, but their ability causes time paradoxes, so it ends up looking like luck manipulation because it destroys the universe over and over again until the desired result comes up.
I still can't believe we finally got a hold of those parody stories. Scanned never was a lie.
Isn't there a VN though?
>Toaru Kagaku no Railgun SS: A Superfluous Story, or A Certain Incident’s End
Is S3 never also a lie?
Spin-off based on the adventures of Touma and Mikoto's son 10 years after the end of the series when?
Both A Certain Scientific and Magical Ensemble and the Railgun game for the PSP are VNs.
No one really cares about them.
Let's hope so.
It's called FSN.
Why didn't Touma teach Kerry to live his life correctly?
Level 0s can still have their powers detected on a very small scale, can't they?
Esper + IB = Magician?
Is every girl in Railgun amazing?
Yeah, we never learn what Hamazura's is though.
Yes, except Haruue and Febli.
More Thor hijinks when?
The important characters, sure.
Why is Sparky so obsessed with Touma?
Well, it probably isn't important. Alister would have checked for any overlooked properties of his ability already.
Why is Mikoto so perfect?
His drunken charm.
Goodness Touma is all skin and bone. Look at those legs.
Because she is a young girl who gets wet for super heroes.
If it weren't for Touma's fukou da, biribiri might have met Gunha first and became obsessed with him.
He never gets food.
>Reminder that she's insecure as fuck
Gee, you think?
How can I make my hair like his?
But hair gel won't make it as fluff like his.
This is the closest I can find with GIS.
Get a cute nun to chew on your skull.
Do whatever this guy does
Accelerator manga/anime when?
Two months ago?
There's an Accelerator manga running.
It looks like it's gonna be completely irrelevant to the rest of the series.
Hahaha, Touma actually walks outside looking like this.
That second dude looks okay.
Second guy looks alright. Especially when you consider Touma is basically a delinquent.
Hamazura dyes his hair blonde afterall.
but >>101652650 looks good...?
What? Second one looks handsome. I'd give him blowjobs if I was a grill
I wonder if Touma would have a reaction, any kind of reaction, if Thor somehow manages to steal Mikoto away from his harem.
Touma is far to dense to realize that anyone likes him, he's impossible to NTR.
He seemed to be fine with the idea of her getting together with "Unabara".
>"You're dating Thor? Way to go, Misaka! You make a cute couple."
Eh, he doesn't like Thor though. He wanted to beat the shit out of him when he thought about him in NT 9.
More than being dense he doesn't believe his misfortune would allow him that happiness. Plus since Volume 1 he knows that the red string of fate is a thing and his was cut by IB.
>It bothers me
Then he would have twice the biribiri to deal with.
Nobody likes Thor.
Whenever someone starts a Railgun anime thread, they just want to imagedump cute girls.
Or they just don't read the LNs.
Those three were my most favorite team-up.
He would not care at all. He has no feelings for her or anyone else as he is a raging homosexual.
Then why hasn't he hate-fucked Thor or Tsuchi yet? Or lovingly embraced Gunha?
Touma's boner to Oriana and Kanzaki says hi.
Are you sure he hasn't?
The over ten thousand girls he needs to impregnate say bye
What would happen if Mikoto say Gunha and Touma going at it?
Name a single girl, aside from Lessar (who has made it clear that she was intending to blackmail him with sex) that has ever, at any point, made her intentions clear.
Now name a point in time where Touma could actually fuck a girl, inbetween trying not to flunk school, be in debt, get dragged into international magic bullshit, and other general misfortunes.
He doesn't know, and even if he did, he'd likely get his cock ripped off by every other jealous girl if he did anything. If he somehow got away with it, he would not have to deal with teen pregnancy. Touma is responsible, if rather oblivious. That does not make him gay. If he went by your stupid ass reasoning, he'd be dead with in three days.
Never 5get ;_;7
Why do you want Touma to be gay so bad anon? Especially when he canonically popped boners to certain women, and has never demonstrated any homosexual tendencies.
Are you projecting?
She would cry and try to make them DP her in order to make herself feel better in every sense.
Touma's condoms always rip
ITSUWA RAPED AND KILLED A MAN IN 1995
>“I can’t,” Kamijou honestly said. “Because that guy’s serious. He already knows that doing so would only get him hurt in the end, yet he still honestly came out and stated his feelings for you. And he already decided that even if he’s hurt because of it, he won’t end up resenting you. I can’t trick someone like him, nor do I want to.”
Touma's a bro.
Index a pet.
Yeah, I really liked that part.
Mikoto is trying to set up the whole romantic comedy charade of "Oh, i'll get this guy to pretend to be my boyfriend", and Touma just says "Fuck that, be honest."
Too bad he can't even get a clue about the girl's feelings for him.
Touma really was a bro at that part. Mikoto's monologue in response to this statement though was really painful to read.
He's someone who values honesty. Roundabout methods won't work on him. If you want to get in his pants, you have to tell him straight out.
It's not his fault not a single girl in this series has a spine.
>Touma is fully aware that bitches want him
>Waiting for the moment a grill actually has enough brass to outright tell him her feelings
>uses that as a decider for choosing the best waifu, because he needs a woman who is courageous and honest with herself to stand beside him, not stuttering little grills.
>“…Then I will bear that burden too.”
>“You say your decision here in Hawaii was wrong, but I made that decision too! If I had chosen differently, this may have turned out differently. And I had opportunities to speak with that Birdway girl, so I too might have been able to see her true intentions beforehand!! I overlooked that, so I won’t let you bear this alone. Just because you were wrong about something does not mean you need to bear it all alone!!”
>Having said that, Mikoto felt a little refreshed.
>It may have been partly due to the boy’s dumbfounded expression.
>Mikoto added one last thing as a finishing blow.
“You and I are heading down the same path. Don’t forget that.”
Not exactly a romantic confession or anything similar, but I don't think you can get any more straight out than that.
>but I don't think you can get any more straight out than that.
You can. You really can.
It's really, really simple.
Just say "I love you" or something along those lines.
It's an absolute trap. It's completely unavoidable. And Touma isn't so stupidly naive that he'd go "I love you too and also everyone else" or some shit like that.
That's the only thing that will work. Anything less than that is worthless.
>secretly has a betting pool set up with Tsuchimikado on who will confess first
>but I don't think you can get any more straight out than that.
"I love you, not as a friend, but as a man and woman. Do you feel the same?"
He is not a clever man.
He probably just doesn't have the money or time for one
You're both enormous fucking faggots. For a multitude of reasons.
eh, nandatte? you moon me?
You also have to consider the context of the scene, it wasn't the appropiate time to say that. My point is that depending on the situation, the girl can have courage and tell him that she appreciates him and what he does and that he can rely on her. If a girl was that dedicated in helping me out and said anything like that to me, the first thing I'd suspect would be that she might have feelings for me.
Nah, he's good with money. He's insane at getting deals.
Misfortune is just against him.
This thread got real creepy towards the end
But there aren't any simulator pics.
It's not even in the top 50 creepy Raildex threads.
Look at that speech Mikoto made to him. Now imagine Touma saying those same words to someone else. Easy, right? Because this is something he does all the time. And if it's not a love confession when he says it, why would he think it's one when someone else says it?
You have to look at these things from his point of view too.
Oh I know, I've been in creepier discussions but something about two grown ass men talking about what is essentially their head canon love scenario gets a little out there
Shipping is enough to creep you out? Shit nigga.
How do you feel about TerraxMisaki?
From his point of view, that girl also followed him all the way to Russia with the only goal to find him. It's true that he had more important things to take care of at that moment, but that's something that one should not forget when you meet the same person regularly.
TerraxFrenda, you faggot.
How does wanting someone who is straight forward and honest make me a faggot? Why is it on Touma to somehow know what some random bitch is thinking? He has to deal with all sorts of bullshit, he doesn't have time to play fucking guessing games. Would it kill a girl to say "Hey, I fucking like you."? If more grills were more upfront, you wouldnt have "LOL MISUNDERSTANDINGS xD" every damn second.
Shipping I can handle, "misaka best grill" doesn't even register. but once a couple of neckbears start leaking their personal fan fiction I draw the line
>not Ter x Nda and Ra x Fre
That's true anon, they have so much in common.
It's not fanfiction. It's expecting a girl to act like a human being and not stutter more than Michael J Fox.
And I'm saying this is exactly the same sort of thing he'd do without any special feelings involved. To him, going that far for the sake of even complete strangers is perfectly normal. Your logic only applies to normal people. It doesn't apply to Touma.
Furthermore, Mikoto barely even registers as a girl to Touma anyway.
>But there aren't any simulator pics.
I can fix that
Don't tell me you're counting parody volumes anon.
Femanon pls go.
Goddammit. We're on page 9 anon. We almost made it all the way with no simulator pics.
when does that happen, between the constant fighting and running around he does? Are you really putting romance above the fact that he just doesn't have the time for that shit?
Nah son, I'm an overweight neckbear as well. it just gets weird when people talk like they are in their early teens
Anon, you should know by now that we're all pure hearted little girls.
I was the one saying that Touma isn't gay for not going for grills when they have never actively demonstrated that they want to pursue him as a romantic interest. The guy probably doesn't have time to fap, let alone fuck anyone. BUT, if a grill was more straight forward, he might at least have a chance at a fucking bj or something.
You're secretly giving me the reason, aren't you? With that reasoning, more the reason to bond and find similarities with a person that acts like he does. That should make her stand out above the rest of the people he knows, though not necessarily in a romantic way I have to say before you jump to conclusions.
It couldn't be helped
It just bothers me is all.
You heard it here first
they are compatible because they are both murderers
Accelerator did nothing wrong
The faggotry shows when the girls are the ones interested on him and not vice versa. Even the most typical and busy shounen MC from any other similar series would hit on at least one girl.
Because Misaka isn't Touma, you dense fuck.
The problem with is that most shounen MC's have the luxury of doing that, he doesn't exactly get much free time
He doesnt even have enough time to fap you retard.
You sure love exaggerating.
Right back at you, Mr. "Touma is totally gay"
What does that have to do with the fact that he never shows any active interest on a single girl? In fact, after all the time he has been in contact with girls that he saves and fights, it's completely strange that he never showed any particular attachment to any of them.
>What does that have to do with the fact that he never shows any active interest on a single girl?
He does, multiple times. See his instant erection at Oriana and when Kanzaki was patting him down.
Lust is not interest, it is an spontaneous feelings that he would have for any female in the same circumstances.
Does he ever show any active interest in men? No. So why not believe him? You would have a better chance arguing that he was asexual
He says himself he doesn't want a girlfriend right now because it will add to his misfortune.
Even then he kind of admitted that he wanted Itsuwa to kiss him before Index came in and ruined the moment.
More then he's ever shown for a man.
I understand you want Touma to be gay, but you really need to stop projecting
I'm starting to think Itsuwa was framed because she was so close.
I'm not the one saying he's gay, but you have to admit that someone who meets new girls on a daily basis would have to be weird or not normal to not even show a hint of affection or active interest for any of them.
Not wanting a girlfriend doesn't mean he can't have a crush on someone.
Refer to the first line.
And Touma doesn't even remember her anymore. That is my point, despite having the closest moment with him, after her main arc Touma forgets about her completely. At least Mikoto and Index are worth remembering for him.
touma x innocentius is the new hotness
