Is Live-Evil actualy going to do Record of the Lodoss War OVA BD? They raised $500+ to buy the BDs. Now the page on thier website about the project is mysteriously gone.
Or am I stuck with the N.E.E.T. release?
Coalgirls level bloat, but dat grain mang, dat grain
NEET's not doing a 1080p so i dunno
yes unless you feel like 47 odd gigs of bmdv
uh NEET does have Mega links
Not anymore. friggin ghetto-ass host called qshare...
If you've got 58 gigs to spare, there's a RAW on Nyaa. If you get a shit small DVD rip MKVs, you can pull the subs from those and use on these videos.
The grain isn't too bad, since Lodoss was shot with 35mm film.
Also, this release has scans of the artbooks and a series of production sketches that came on the discs.
Wait so it was a scam?
Time to download NEET.
Can you use your magic to rip the mkv files and upload to MF etc? I do not know how.
At least you guys are lucky enough to have NEET or whoever came after mine. The first fansubs from decades ago came from my laserdiscs which I purchased in person in Tokyo (except for some which I had to import later to complete the set). It ran roughly $600 _in_those_years'_dollars which means it would be quite a lot more in today's dollars. The first run were the yellow letters from my Amiga Supergen genlock and subsequent runs were from a PC genlock card (white letters faint black outline).
How far we have come.
Wow, and I thought I was the oldest oldfag on /a/. That's pretty damn cool.
Do you ever get really irritated with all the SUBS FUCKING WHERE entitlement going on these days, since you remember how it used to be?
Kinda love their dub voices, especially Deedlit's.
Dub Deedlit was also dub Lina for the TV series.
Yea I enjoyed the dub for the slayers as well(not counting the movies and ovas). Haven't seen revolution or evolution-r dubbed out of fear they recast the english VAs.
The main cast is all back for the last two seasons except Xellos. I know David Moo was a point of contention for a lot of people but his nasally weasel voice grew on me as very fitting for the character. NuDub Xellos just sounds really generic.
In the end, I did like Akira Ishida's Xellos best for the sheer nonchalance in his voice.
You know things are bad when people start pointing fingers at each other.
and some anon somewhere will never trust a kickstarter again.
