Fuck this shit
With Mira and Subaru they established getting hit while not wearing a cloth would be almost lethal, even against a weak opponent. The asspull was so great Hyperion started thinking he was hallucinating.
>The asspull was so great Hyperion started thinking he was hallucinating.
I thought i was hallucinating too.
You should have dropped it after they fired Umakoshi and the rest of the staff.
>they fired Umakoshi
it was shit with him already, I can't imagine what it is now
Their plot armor was so strong the villain started thinking he was going crazy
The writers don't give a shit about omega
Japan doesn't give a shit about omega
The SS fanbase doesn't give a shit about omega even after "killing" fan-favorites like Ikki and Shiryu.
Why do you give a shit, OP?
I've gotten this far
At this point, SS is just a punching bag. This is worse than the fucking Eva spin-offs
Was worth watching just for that scene and insert song.
I hope the new movie won't suck. The last time I enjoyed a SS anime was Overture and that was 10 years ago.
S1 was sorta decent, at least it had bits of Yuna/Kouga
S2 has nothing....
>Athena is a high school girl
>12 houses arc in one movie
It doesn't look too promising
Using shipping faggotry for defending a show is beyond pathetic.
>Japan doesn't give a shit about omega
Yeah, no. Omega has been a success, even in Japan itself, according to Toei's last financial report.
They said that the series brought more awareness to the Saint Seiya brand in general, raising overall sales. Saint Seiya actually ended up topping Toriko in their last report.
Why do you guys care anyway? It is not like the original was any better. Asspulls and bad fights are almost the selling point of this frachise.
at least it's better than yaoi shit...
Thanks to myth cloths and all that crap. It's the Hades OVAs all over again
oh god, saint seiya omega doesn't even attempt to make sense, its just terrible shenanigans all around; and the worst part is there is still worse shows that have been written.
>Not liking yaoishit
You're not a real SSfag.
They were attempting to emulate many moments of the original series where the Saints got heavily beaten up, but miraculously stood up again and powered up... but they went WAY over the top here.
Even in 2ch, people were calling them zombies.
>They were attempting to emulate many moments of the original series where (...) but they went WAY over the top here.
Omega in a nutshell
> asspull is so great that the villain nearly goes into BSOD
That was pretty great. The Subaru moments were the best part, though.
Just wish we stopped beating around the bush and reveal the final boss already.
Even though I knew they were going to get jobbed in the worst ways I couldn't help but root for them.
Legend of Sanctuary will open on Mexico and Peru
Anyone here is planning to watch it on the movies?
That scene was unintentionally hilarious.
That person... the God they've been talking about all this time, yes, that God. The God who's name is never mentioned, but we know is that person.
Omega is silly. I hope Tokitoki comes back... I liked the fact they putted some effort into his personality during his last episode.
That's not a very manly pose, Ryuho.
He didn't get fired, he just signed a contract for 50 episodes. By the time Toei realized Omega was somewhat successful and wanted to a second season Umakoshi already had other projects and couldn't continue.
Mushishi OVA? That's the only thing he has done since he left Omega.
Many of omega's problems come from execution. The original show knew how to compesate its weaknesses with raw manly feelings while omega is too vanilla to even try. The result is boring for older fans beyond nostalgia wankfest and just unappealing for kids
