My Bride is a Mermaid Thread?
I heard rumors of a possible S2 is it true?
dunno myself but i hope so
The first 20 episodes or so of this show are one of the greatest RomComs ever... then it goes all Futakoi Alternative (which isn't necessarily a bad thing, if that's what you're going for, but somehow I don't think they were...).
Also has the one of the best "Person-of-Color" characters in anime.
Do you have a source on this claim?
Well can you share with thee class anon-san?
;_; We aren't supposed to go in circles with info.
Rumors are basically circles.
The quality varied from really generic to great.
The episode Mikawa is going to die is the best one.
>Masa will never save you when you drown and passionately kissu you.
You have a point but I'd rather believe a rumor of something I want to hear than something I don't.
>My Bride is a Mermaid
I'm still fucking mad, Funi.
What would you call it? "Wife of the Japanese Inland Sea"? Because that sounds like a boring ass fairy tale or something.
THE LAST AMAZONES!
I wouldn't bother tacking on that terrible dub either.
I'd go gay for buff Nagasumi
Bride of Seto
"My Bride is Mermaid" sounds like some stupid movie that tries to sell itself in the title
Still one of my fav comedy series even after all these years.
Then the Americans would be confused when the main character's name isn't "Seto."
Face it, you don't even know where the Seto is. The best they could have done was call it "Bride from the Sea" or something. Except that misses out on the connotations that Japanese associate with Seto fishermen and the Western Honshu/Shikoku area in general. It would be like trying to market "Bavarian Girlfriend" to non-Germans or something, expecting them to know the first thing about regional stereotypes in a country they can barely find on a map.
if you were incharge of making a second season /a/ how would you make it
