Think of a manga without an animated adaptation (OVAs don't count for our purposes).

Disney makes a traditionally animated film adaptation of that manga. How does it turn out?

I there is no way they could make that family friendly without making it unrecognizable.

Hell, I'm even boggled at how you'd do a proper animated adaptation in the first place.

Thought of the same manga, anon. An anime adaptation would be difficult as it is, so Disney would have to rewrite everything. I'd imagine an ugly duckling type story if Disney was in charge of Punpun.
