What's the most boring anime you've ever watched?
Probably Maoyuu Maou Yuusha. Had a vibe like S&W but just wasn't interesting enough.
Dragonball Z. Don't deny it, like half of every episode was just flashbacks and the other half were the characters staring at each other.
You're entitled to your own opinion even though I don't agree.
Movie Sky Crawlers
Haruhi s2 was awful.
Footprints in the sand or welcome to the nhk
Also, 207 hours of "powering up" and 1,921 hours of dust clearing to reveal the TWEEST of the bad guy still being alive.
Anons, so this isn't a rec thread. Lets only post pictures or gifs of said boring anime.
That being said. This is my submission.
We had this thread before
My answer is still lucky star
Haibene Renmei. The first few episodes was so boring I was hoping something exciting is gonna happen.
Nichijou or the kyoani mystery girl one. Both were hyped to be good neither cut any sort of mustard.
Can I just say the pacing in Witch Hunter Robin was awful?
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed a lot of it, but jesus they could have cut out maybe 75% of any given episode.
Fairy Tail. Gave up and just skipped to the fanservice parts.
The Money of Soul and Possibility hands down.
tie between KLK and R;N
Motherfucking Love Live!. I'm just watching one episode every week now.
the bullshit is strong with this one
Initial D season 2 and onwards, it's basically season 1 with different racers
Season 1 was awesome tho, but I also enjoyed the love interest in season 4
(yes I will watch the movie that is coming out)
Rental Magica, piece of shit.
Texhnolyze. I wanted to like it, I REALLY wanted to like it, but I just couldn't keep going past episode 10 or so.
For some reason, filler in DBZ still felt entertaining for me.
>Oh shit, he's getting serious
>Hand to hand combat and laser beams
Spice & Wolf (never understood the hype)
Polar Bear Cafe. I got to episode 13 and quit, it was not enough legitimately funny things and 'panda being a glutton/cute/silly' got old.
Grizzly was cool though and I liked Shirokuma's puns.
Either Ghost in the Shell or Gundam Seed.
Both were good. But boring as fuck.
Why do you keep trying to watch comedy / SOL shows if you clearly don't have the attention span for them?
Infinite stratos is the worst mecha ever, the harem and waifu material is alright but not enough to not make it shit
It's like it's really 2005.
This. Probably the only action show I've ever fallen asleep to. It's literally the same shit every episode. Boring as fuck.
And fuck I thought I filtered this OP image.
So he can call it shit, obviously.
Lucky Star, Rozen Maiden, K-On (season 2)
>that last arc
I do, though. Those were just boring. Hyouka, for instance, was great and didn't have much action in it, and I enjoyed it. The ones I listed either had no substance or were just plain uninteresting.
Probably the best part of DBZ because it felt more like Dragonball when Goku was a kid and the whole thing was about him going on silly adventures and doing stupid shit. I'd watch a spinoff about Goku's and Vegeta's daily lives, trying to do normal jobs and taking care of their families.
Mushishi without a doubt.
Also, KLK is the most entertaining anime I've seen in years.
Flag. The first episode was cool, but the camera gimmick got real old real quick.
>2005 was 9 years ago
That one with the redhead with blue eyes, and her beta-max brother.
It's so boring i forgot the name.
I've never seen such boring toss in all my life.
What the fuck is it about other than this loser faggot trying to get his overly popular cunt sister to like him?
I like Witch Hunter Robin, too, but they could have easily made it a 13 episode series
I actually used it to put myself to sleep for like 6 months.
I've watched lots of boring shit but Nobunaga the Fool has been the only one so far to make me literally fall asleep on my desk
When the first episode of Texhnolyze made me laugh out loud at how pretentious it was, that is not a good sign for an anime that wants to be taken seriously
Clannad lucky star
captcha: same turdwel
if thats the most boring one, you haven't watched much anime then have you
Key the Metal Idol
Lucky star and clannad
Non non biyori
nihilism is one of the easiest and most boring things to write. garbage show
Ai Yori Aoshi was like watching paint dry. And the MC was a total cardboard cut-out faggot.
Gundam Build Fighters
I liked the other Key stuff but damn that one was just awful
except for makoto
Pretty much this.
Every one talked it up like it was anime christ but I had to force myself to finish it because it was nothing but dialogue and feelings.
Definitely Ergo Proxy.
That one about the immortal samurai.
Blade of the Immortal?
Fucking Bleach. I don't understand how it got so popular. The animations are horrible, the writing is even worse, and the scenes are all so fucking boring. You would think that even with its shitty plot, at least some sort of excitement or atmosphere could be harvested, but no, its just say your edgy plan out loud to the enemy and harsh laugh - the animation. Why is it still aired on television?
Coppelion, what a shitty show
I felt the same way about eva when I finally watched it, what a load of pseudo-intellectual bullshit.
kill la kill
ghost in the shell
it's hard to answer this question because I literally forget about shows that I found extremely dull
Haibane Renmei is probably the first anime I ever dropped, years back. I only remembered it because I saw it mentioned in this thread.
you are the plebest
>Ghost in the Shell
It's like you don't like action.
Futari Wa Precure: Max Heart. Even Futari Wa was boring at times, but this was almost impossible to slog through and I still only got through around 5 episodes.
Nigga, read the manga, it has better phasing.
I don't know why I expect anything different from these threads.
Every post is either a blatant troll, or someone who obviously hasn't spent much time exploring this medium.
Tencholyze stands out. I wanted to like it but I couldn't care less about the characters or anything really. Couldn't stomach Lucky Star either
>Kill la Kill
Only ever watchable if Nui or Maiko was on screen or someone is getting molested by mommy
Found a way to make bots and real life internet boring, good job.
Even the robotic legs scene was lacking. MC was unlikable and main girl was pretty annoying.
Boring as all hell until rape happened
>But muh expansive world and unique people
The characters were as deep as a puddle and the world was tame if not stupid.
I want to put Hyouka but in all fairness I still haven't stayed awake through the first episode.
>Replying to a thread made by Ruggarell.
Please stop feeding the tripfag, /a/.
ITT: Shit taste general
It is the best example of "Terrible pacing" I can ever site.
>samefagging this hard
>having such shit taste
Just read the manga, it has pacing problems as well but overall it's great.
you tryin' to fight?
>I'd watch a spinoff about Goku's and Vegeta's daily lives, trying to do normal jobs and taking care of their families.
Lain. Easily Lain.
Wow, I did not expect to see that here.
I love [C].
Mostly because the whole time I was with somebody who actually liked it
Most boring one without a lame excuse is FLCL.
I can hardly believe I actually managed to finish it.
>several people share the same opinion
>must be the same person
You'll never grow up kid
Lain, definitely. I watched it in its entirety, and to this day I can't even tell what was it about.
Season 2 of Gundam 00
Watching the finale I realized I could not possibly care less about the outcome of the final battle.
Go fuck yourself.
Lain and NGE
that was pretty awful.
I was really fucking bored with LoGH, especially midway through the show.
I'm still glad I finished it, but the pacing was just horrible to me.
Sketchbook, and I loved every minute of it.
Well like 95% of it. The other 5% was great though.
I can definitely understand that, the only time I really took a break from watching it was when Kircheis died and I didn't feel like living anymore.
