ITT: Western Franchises you think would make good anime and the studio you want to do it.
I want the Darth Bane trilogy from Star Wars to be done by Bones.
Warhammer 40k done by Trigger if it's about Orks.
If it's about a Space Marine chapter it should be done by Gainax
Sandman anime, by Studio 4°C
King of the Hill anime by KyoAni
>Not just redneck moes.
Can we just get Star Wars in general?
If not, Revan's saga done by Production IG
I... I'm fine with this.
Time Splitters by Shaft, you know it makes sense.
You know, it some how does.
The his dark materials books, by I dunno.
Shounen of the year.
There's already been at least two different Bible anime.
RWBY by A-1,Dogakobo or Sanzigen"if 3D"
How's the planned live action adaption coming along?
karl pilkington slice of life
with a david bowie episode
The Wheel of Time as anime, it's the only medium that could portray it anyway. Without the actors dying from old age before the 5th book.
Imagine some fancy opening music while the camera swipes across the cast of characters.
I like it
Redwall franchise, no idea what studio though
I don't even care if the grease it up with fanservice, I would even welcome some, unless it may be a bit dull.
It must be somebody who can draw food really, really good.
yes it does
I wouldn't mind any studio picking up the Bane series.
Someone contact Togashi
But who better than Bones?
You've seen Darker Than Black. They do combat excellently.
I'd watch it, but god damn was that last book a disappointment.
If done right, I could totally see this work
Who, who could do it right?
Gainax, allways bet on Gainax.
>Paul Atreides now has the temperament of Shinji.
Planescape by bones
Twilight by type-moon
An anime about Gorillaz made by Gainax.
special guest PSG.
>Not Spelljammer by Trigger.
a song of ice and fire
the tv series has strayed way too much from the source material to be considered a faithful adaptation at this point
NOT Shaft. I don't think I could take the Fremen headtilts. I'd rather KyoAni!
Last Samurai done by I.G please.
>no competent studio in sight
>too clever for retards
Bane trilogy was mediocre by the way and Star Wars as a franchise is poorly written chuuni shit. The Bane trilogy is only good during the first novel. After that miner-faggot-bald-Sith decides to take a random small girl apprentice, it turns into shit
>Hating the establishment of the Rule of Two
JoJo's already out, anon.
HE LIKES IT!
Except he didn't invent it, just logically deducted it after having studied Sith history and learning Revan's teachings.
He's not that big of a genius at all. He just went full old school Sith style.
bones would do a great Dune
What about if it's about IG?
can choose vidjer gaems?
because I'd love to see Postal 2 done by Trigger
why are bones the last decent studio left?
everyone else has just turned their style into something only fitted for moeblob shows.
I don't think most western franchises would be good as anime. Mostly, because of female aesthetics. The west doesn't know how to design cute girls any more.
That might come as a shock, but not everything has to be about cute girls, anon.
But that's what anime excels at. For anything else you can also refer to other media.
beauty in the eye of the beholder etc
>still being a cultural marxist
Fuck off Moe Cunt.
>Implying GOOD shows like Darker than black need CUTE girls.
Darker than Black has plenty of cute girls. And again, I was primarily talking about a general idea of aesthetics. Femininity has died in the west. It was killed by feminism.
Cultural Marxists like yourself wouldn't understand this however so it's pointless talking to you about this.
/pol/ pls go and stay go
You mean annoying right?
That and it brought all the normies to the franchise.
The next book is going to have so much normie pandering.
To be honest I don't see most western franchises working well in anime format, if at all. At least not without extensive changes. Not only in series and movies, but even books.
I can imagine some working but only if it was merely a story set in the same universe, but with a different cast of characters, plot, etc.
I totally get what you're saying and I agree completely. It's pretty difficult to adapt properly most western franchises to anime aesthetics. Like I said, I think a few could work as original stories with original characters set in the same universe. But story and character adaptations, nah. If it´s anime but with mostly western style and aesthetics then why bother?
he probably means yin, who was undoubtedly cute.
Amber was cute too. So were many other girls.
