>"string-theory based universe"
steins;gate is 0/10.
I heard you have to watch 13 episodes before it gits gud.
Everyone in this show feels kind of pathetic and miserable, I think that might be the intention though.
You've got a problem with string theory or describing the universe as being based on string theory?
How was string theory brought up? I don't remember it.
Just wait until they compress data using a black hole.
The science in this show is laughably bullshit.
Isn't that... I thought they needed to compress data in order for it to successfully travel through a generated black hole... I'm not wrong am I?
There's a bunch of psuedo-science shit in S;G, but if it operates consistently it's more than putting par for a science fiction show.
Steins;Gate is still more accurate than any other sci fi show.
No they needed to transmit some files that were super large like 1000s of TB large or something so they compress it with a black hole. Not like I really care about the science in the show at all, im not an autistic fag thats gets hung up over scientific accuracy in chinese cartoons
It's about as accurate as Star Trek
Is this bullshit?
>Steins;Gate is still more accurate than any other sci fi show.
No, it isn't. And even talking about science fiction in terms of accuracy is fucking retarded.
I think the science in S;G feels almost reasonable, but it's not accurate by any means. Science writing in sci-fi should be judged by the effect it has on the reader, not accuracy. Giving an accurate feel is good but actually being accurate is neither good nor bad.
How the fuck do they do that? How do you output files from a computer to a fucking black hole?
With a microwave, a big Braun tube TV, a phone and a fibre-optic connection to CERN or similarly-sized particle accelerator.
Read the VN, it's better explained there, and every experiment gets a second Mayuri explanation for autists like you too.
They're directly connected to CERN's LHC
Braun being one of their agents
