Why LoGH so condescending?
I'd watch an anime written by Poplan, there would be lots of foppery and whim.
I want to see a James Bond movie starring Reuenthal.
God, this fucking bitch right here.
I really don't have enough of Machungo, what an underrated character.
Which [partitcular] series/OVA/whatever is this screenshot from? Only watched main LoGH.
What is that?
It is the main LoGH, she is one of the politicians in the FPA. She laughs at one of the more sane politicians when he says that they should focus on making the country better instead of worrying about getting re-elected, or something in that fashion.
That bitch was part of the FPA's cabinet. Shows up pretty early on in the 108 episode series.
Fatalistic space-niggers are always interesting, really should've developed his character more.
Ah, probably just forgot her then. Took me a while to watch through it.
My favorite minor character is Trung Yu Chan.
No wonder, considering how long it is. I've rewatched it a couple of times, and it still feels pretty fresh each time since it's so long that I don't remember a good part of it.
>She laughs at one of the more sane politicians when he says that they should focus on making the country better instead of worrying about getting re-elected, or something in that fashion.
I thought this show was supposed to be good
What makes you believe otherwise?
That joke of a line. Even your average Sunday morning anime is more subtle
It is, most of the politicians in the FPA are just scumbags
It's not subtle, but it is actually interesting.
Not really. It's babby's first cynical observation, no insight at all
I was paraphrasing, you know. Sounded pretty natural in the show, considering they were facing a crisis. Is it that hard to imagine someone being blunt in that situation?
Sorry, I meant the show, not that particular bit of it. What's interesting about the show isn't the politics -- that's, like, West Wing-level obvious stuff. What's interesting is the power plays the military leadership has to do to either counter the political machinations on the Empire side, or the careful line-walking they have to do to stay out of politics on the Republic side. The show is about the military, not about regular politics.
Such compassion, in Mittenmeyer.
