>Australian encore screenings announced
>Everywhere except Perth (..yet, they are apprently just confirming and finalizing so don't freak out)
In the last Sydney screening thread there were many anons who expressed sadness for not going along to watch.
This is your chance. I will be going alone. Again. You can do it too. If you're hesitating because anxiety/etc, please just do your best. The film is amazing.
bumping because it's not too late to change your hikikomori ways!
I was at Nova on Sunday, the crowd was pretty well behaved. That Kyouko cosplayer was cute.
There's surprisingly more girls at the screening than I expected. That scene early on in the movie when Mami snapped her finger to do up her drills the girl behind me went "damn, that would be so handy".
Sydney was almost 50/50 ratio. Anons were quite surprised.
Is New Zealand getting another airing?
I missed this first one...
>Magical girl anime
>Not one dude on the main cast
>/a/ surprised that girls actually watch it
Kind of ironic if you think about it. Still I've always been curious about girls take on Madoka.
I wonder if girls are as divided about Sayaka as us.
I can imagine girls have a little more time for Sayaka than most of us seeing as how her wish involved violin-kun, who she was in love with. Perhaps they resonate with the naievity and the pain when it all invevitably comes tumbling down.
Unconfirmed, sorry. Lurk madman over the next few days.
It does not work that way in moonland.
I'm not sure what conclusions we can draw from this. Along with our level of speculah vs theirs.
But whatever the conclusion, I'm fairly certain our model is superior.
So that meetup sydneyfags were planning
We can do it without needing to wait a year
Is there a Melbourne meet up planned?
What happens at a meet up anyway?
Newtown pub or something?
Going to be fair awkward though.
What am I supposed to be seeing here?
I've never been to Dendy, nor know Newtown particularly well but I'd be happy to meet people at a pub nearby
I suppose I'd rather some awkwardness than arriving and leaving immediately with no one to talk to
Just gotta keep this thread up so more sydney anons see
ONE MORE TIME ONE MORE CHANCE. I've staved off the need to rewatch via camrips and April is too fucking long I need closure fuck I was too focused on the visuals some of the dialogue escaped me. I went alone last time and left without talking to anyone. S-surely this time!
Women make up 99% of SnK's fanbase.
Men make up 99% of Madoka's fanbase.
according to theatre turnout.
Newtown is fairly hipster and gay, so maybe if any anons know of a quiet pub they could let us know.
What do you want to know?
Obviously he wants to see it again and find out for himself.
>anons excited for one more chance to watch the movie
>nine showings at local theater here
I went to one of the Melbourne screenings. Pity I wouldn't be able to get another weekend off to go to one of the encore screenings; I want to see this movie again. I'm seriously contemplating importing the Japanese Blu-Ray, though.
i never liked this rectangleface anime but are the girls who go watch it qties?
Where abouts is that?
You don't like the wideface? You do not belong here.
Do I have to have watched the first two movies to understand what's happening in the third? Or is watching the TV series enough
I think you should leave...
THe first two films are summarie of the original 12 episode anime. It's up to you how you watch it but I'd reccomend the tv seies over the films. Do them both anyway though.
Is it subbed, or will I need my babel fish
Just the TV series is fine.
Where they SHOULD screen the movie
>Oh Moe, you see that brah, you see that? There's a Asian with a Little Girl's t-shirt. Like what a faggot man!
>There white man who watch anime. Maybe I can go up him and marry for a green card so leave China forever. I like Chinese cartoon too.
>This Movie is turning homosexuals into a fetish! I got to complain to tumblr right after another night with the boys
>Oi Dazza, what's with all these chink faggots coming down to Cronulla today wearing t-shirts of little girls. Someone call the boys! Not only is it an invasion but it's a pedo invasion.
Of course it's fucking subbed.
Well that was to be expect though I suppose
I'd consider going if the movie was better. I'm still mad.
Movie 3 screening in Australia is a lot bigger than the first 2, I wonder if it's because of ABC.
Last con I went to I saw this seven year old girl cosplaying as Sayaka. I went up to her and asked how much Madoka has she seen and she goes "All the episodes on ABC3"
To my disappointment I later found out ABC was showing a censored version.
Yonge and Dundas had 9 showings in December, each one with signboards.
Stop calling movies "film" it makes you look like a pretentious yuppie faggot, and in the case you are such a faggot die yuppie scum
What meetup? I'm in.
Yes I remember catching episode 7. In the Sayaka vs Elsa Maria fight they cut out all the scenes with blood. Even the "it doesn't hurt at all!"
Basically completely fucked up the emotional impact so they could get a PG rating.
You know what's even more infuriating than film?
It was being talked about from around there and onwards for 4.44 or Kizu
But I figured if anyone was keen then it could happen this weekend
But no actual plans were made, it was just anons expressing interest
I call the location a cinema and the viewing material a film
Sorry for not being american
I already saw it in glorious nippon.
I just call em flicks.
B-but you could come see it again with some /a/nons
How hard would it be to make the blood black in that scene? I mean, really? It would just blend in with the other black.
I guess that's still too much of an allusion to blood
>what is that mysterious liquid pouring out of that injured Sayaka
Plus laziness or whoever is in charge of producing the censored version might not have had permission to edit scenes, only cut them
If I remember correctly, the original TV version actually had black blood, at least for Elsa Maria. Sayaka had muted red.
Too bad you can't get that version any more.
If you had a daughter /a/, how old will she be before you let her watch Madoka?
Would you sit through it with her and explain stuff?
But Newtown scares me
6, my kid's going to be hardcore.
It's only a few hundred metre walk from the station
The gays, hipsters and weirdos won't rape you that quickly
13 or so
I'd rather her appreciate some precure though
If you've been raising her right she should've seen shows like Sailor Moon and Princess Tutu in elementary school, and maybe read Shugo Chara, Tokyo Mew Mew, stuff like that.
That said, I watched Madoka with my 14yo bro and he didn't mind it. He likes shounen better, obviously, but I've been trying to lewdify him. I got him a Maka Albarn plushie for his bday.
i live closeish to newtown, it's a really popular place so good luck finding a 'quiet' pub
If you find fat 3D girls with butterfaces cute, then sure.
There was a load of Perthfags in these threads too. /soc/ faggotry can be a thing if they confirm another perhaps.
Madman said they were organising a times/dates and to just stay tuned
>As we mentioned, more encore screening sites to be confirmed.
My little sister is 5 years old and I let her watch Madoka.
Fuck that OP who won't even show MH to her little sister.
What does she think of it?
Auckland screening encore when? I'd go again.
She like it, and questioning why Homura become monster, again and again.
I answer her, wait 3 years again and I'll let you know.
There were a bunch of people who brought their imoutos to Madoka just so they wouldn't be alone if the threads a few days ago are anything to go by.
Really now? What's special about SnK for the females?
It's because they wanted a sequel - Gen originally planned to end it once Homu wakes up from the Incubator container shit, but Aniplex wanted him to add a tweest in, and that's why Homu's a demon.
your 5yo imouto can read subs?
Well if any anons still lurking who are interested in going to the Newtown screening
Would anyone be interested in meeting, and if so Sat or Sun?
or just wanna try again later in the week and hope more anons see/want to come?
I guess you might get an announcement in the next couple of days
It'd suck if it was short notice though
Is that a serious question?
Yeah sure. What time?
No way she can satisfied with that answer.
A little, at least she know all of the characters name and she already watch the series.
>Live in sydney
>want to go
>Don't want to go
>Don't want to be labeled THOSE type of people while i wait outside+for it to start
God damn it dude, you can't even get your scapegoat right, you're supposed to say it's all big bad "$hinbo"'s fault. You're terrible at this.
Labeled by who?
If you want, you won't ever have to see anyone there ever again. Unless you're underage and your mom has to drive you or something. In that case, get out.
>Don't want to be labeled THOSE type of people while i wait outside+for it to start
What kind of stupid reason is that? Harden the fuck up.
But Shinbo is an artistic genius.
He's also the one who came up with the idea of Homura and Madoka becoming enemies.
All that genocide just for one pretty boy?
>"Homura-chan! Homura-chan! Why she is running, Sayaka-chan?"
>"Because we have to chase her."
>"She didn't do anything wrong."
>"Because she's the hero Mitakihara deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So, we'll hunt her, because she can take it. Because she's not our hero. She's a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A Dark Knight."
>>"She didn't do anything wrong."
If I see this sentence again...
Is anyone going to the Brisbane screening?
Hey, there are people who just watched the movie and are vulnerable to conspiracy bullshit like this. Buzz off.
There was nothing bad about the ending, it was the perfect twist. 'Happy ending' bullshit would just be cliche as fuck like the ending of the series.
What do you mean, those types of people?
I agree with you. I'm just telling the guy that he got his trollling wrong.
Sure, I walked out of it on Saturday immediately wanting to watch it again.
There will be enough of "those people" there to fill a cinema, you won't exactly be in hostile surroundings
Reserved a ticket for Saturday. What pub?
Sorry just looking at train timetables because I've gotta come from the west
Barely know Newtown, got any suggestions?
Or a time, Ill work to whatever schedule
Oh lawdy. I remember my friend went to a Diva concert with his bro and dad while his mom and sisters went to a WWE match in Manila. I guess it doesn't matter where you go as long as you have fun.
If you're not a spaghetti loving autist then you won't be labelled one of those type of people, but chances are that you already are.
>captcha: Self-denial FOrAcc
>not loving spaghetti
Anyone here from Singapore going this 8th or 9th?
Courthouse Hotel? Has a nice beer garden and has been the site of anon meet ups in the past. Only a couple of hundred metres from the cinema and Newtown station.
Newtown is scum. Too many hipsters and its way too overcrowded.
That being said, I'll be attending the Sunday screening. I missed out on getting tickets last time so I'm glad to be going now.
What time you thinking? 2-2:30?
Haven't met up with anyone nor gone to a screening before so I don't know how long you'll want to be in each others presence for
Sup. I'll be going with other friends though.
Hope you don't get seated next to that madoka salesman asshat.
Which con was that? Supanova or Manifest?
I'll be there, if you notice a guy who doesn't go outside much then you might see me.
I'll be the Asian guy wearing glasses. I might have a backpack.
2.30pm sounds like a plan. Hopefully this is convenient for any other anons that we're in the previous thread.
I get to approach all the loli megucas without getting too many looks because I was Charlotte
/a/ - Ambiguity
You'll meet some nice people but good luck getting rid of the socially awkward autists that plague these events and /a/.
What do you mean, socially awkward autists?
I didn't want to go because these things tend to attract the worst kind of anime fans but judging by the posts here it wasn't that bad. You wouldn't lie to me, would you /a/?
Also, who /qld/ here
Hahah what vivid descriptions
You could meet at the pub >>101501958 suggested so hopefully it's easier to find people than trying in a crowd of weebs standing in a line out the front of Dendy's
Or even reveal your First names
So it doesn't turn out like pic related
Heh, small world. That's the only con I ever go to.
I've met some anons and most are bros who are way less socially awkward than me, so I don't think you'll get many of those. The real autists are probably all crossboarders, and this doesn't mean that /soc/ shit should be on /a/ to begin with either.
How much are tickets?
I'm talking the complete retard package. Incapable of recognizing basic social cues such as what's appropriate to say and at what volume, the crude jokes and memes and generally making everyone feel uncomfortable. You can't tell them to fuck right off so you bear with them for the rest of the evening. The kinds of people that seem to hail from /jp/, which is likely to be the case and they're simply crossboarders.
$21 at Dendy's Newtown
Eh, I just keep quiet most of the time.
Brisfag here, went to the 2:30 screening and it was surprisingly tame, although I wasn't actively looking, don't remember seeing a single fedora. Brisbane crowd was alot better than some of the other places that have been mentioned, no obnoxious clapping.
I'll be watching it again on Saturday with my friends.
You do know that /a/nons are better behaved than reddit, 9gag and gaia autists right?
Contrary to popular belief, the sorts of people from /jp/ who actually go to meetups aren't like that at all. Well crude jokes maybe, but if you use that as your yardstick then most of the Australian population are autistic.
I think the predominant fear is that there are a portion of people who go to these meetups that are actually more reddit/9gag/tumblr than /a/.
this is the worst shit
you can't tell if the person is enjoying themselves especially when they hardly participate in what the group is doing
So what critics say about it? Like, serious people, not anniemay fags.
That it isn't worth an Academy Award nomination. It was one of the 19 titles submitted, but wasn't picked.
Hah. Most film reviewing in newspapers and the like is just shilling anyway, and I doubt any artfag critic would notice it unless they were also an animefag themselves.
>look at me a respectable mature human being watching magical girl animu shit
9/10 it's okay
I wonder how many browse /a/
Come to think of it, no I don't
It's pretty easy to see who is and isn't enjoying something.
>tfw mani is dead and pax is the only good con left in melb
movie was fucking amazing though, if it wasnt going to be 40 degrees id go again on sat
/qld/ is the best state, other states need not apply.
>all dem normals and spergs
Guys I don't think I can go.
>mani is dead
I was there since the beginning back when it was at Melbourne Uni.
I wasn't aware it was ever alive.
I doubt many/any would have seen it - Rebellion is 100% impenetrable unless you've seen the tv series or the two previous movies already. It's not a standalone story.
I'm willing to bet there were more /a/ at the 5:00pm than there were at the 2:30 showing.
>>all dem normals and spergs
What other type of anime fan could there possibly be?
Besides, meet with some anons and we can laugh at them if you really feel that way
>can't type for shit
>can type for shit
Fuck you /qld/, stop making us pay for your flood damage.
I guess I might as well go, it can't be that bad. A shame I have no friends to go with. Did many people turn up alone at the 2:30 screening?
Who cares? You're probably already surrounded by normalfags 24/7 in your nichijou unless you're hikki/truNEET.
>in your nichijou
This is worse than my screening at Manhattan a few months ago. Wow.
Are they selling those guidebook again? Might go again if they do.
>10 gassilion sperg lords in triforce shirts
>that poor father
Why does South Carolina have to be literally the WORST Murrikan state? We didn't get any screenings here. I think the closest one was fucking Raleigh.
>Busy the first time
>Busy the second time
I saw a fair few. As many people have said before in these threads, better to go alone than not at all, and now's the last chance!
They said no freebees, but hopefully they're still selling merch
Will there be signboards?
Yeah, and if you're thinking of just waiting for the Blu-ray in April, don't. You're missing out not seeing this movie on the big screen. It's a pretty crazy looking movie that a 42' tv won't do complete justice to.
>want to go outside
>pimple on my face swollen
I hope it goes down soon.
Well that saves me $20, still fucking mad they didn't mention that the 2:30 showings were the only ones to get signboards.
>not going and releasing a puss bomb
Not the original anon but I'll be coming to sydney saturday screening too.
Look for the guy with a solarcar shirt (if I remember to wear it)
/a/ is not your blog
My only hope is that there is someone who's face looks like a the face of mars covered in puss volcanos
Consider the following.
>Stop eating shit, get more sun, srsly.
Just know that its entirely in nip nong. Still worth imo as an artbook and just to see these ads in the back.
Sure, I'll hang around before the show.
Should I buy the ticket now or on the door?
Let me put it this way. When I went on Sunday in Melbourne the movie was scheduled for 1PM. At around 12:20 they announced that tickets are sold out.
How long is the movie?
Why are you people asking about screening information on /a/? Aren't you bothered about spoilers?
I'll say now incase the same anon's aren't lurking in a future thread
I'll be at >>101501958 at 2:30
Red Mastodon shirt and hair in a high ponytail btw I'm not a grill
>Red Mastodon shirt and hair in a high ponytail
I'd rather kill myself than speak with someone like this.
Most people have already been spoiled, I bet some faggots even watched the camrip because they couldn't wait.
To differentiate you smelly cunt
wait shit i actually havent been spoiled, i need to reconsider this meetup
Keen for meetup as well
I'm going to be that hell drunk guy, be prepared.
Don't forget your fedora and cargo pants.
Who wants to come drinking with me?
these do not mix anon
these do not mix at all
I'm not even a quarter as much of a faggot IRL as I am here, so I won't spoil you. I doubt anyone else would. Also, it's not that simple to spoil.
Well I was going to say something about the first bit of the movie felt slow until I figured out *foghorn*, then ask when did everyone else figure out.
That would be spoiler, won't it?
Did either of the New Zealand screenings even sell out?
SnK? Why is SnK showing in cinemas?
Mmmmmmm well yes
I guess to be polite we should ask how many of us have seen it or not. Wouldn't be surprised if everyone has though.
Advance theatrical screening of the final episode
Okay I just bought ticket for sydney sat.
Count me as haven't seen it. I haven't seen the two movies before either, only the TV series (which should be enough according to earlier posts, else I got some torrenting to do)
>Okay I just bought ticket for sydney sat.
Ditto, just did too
Me on the left
Me 4th from the left
who is the guy with the hat? I remember his face from somewhere.
We could go back to the pub after the screening too.
I didn't know Sigourney Weaver posted here
Looks like Sydney saturday is set to be fun.
I don't like moot's hair in this picture
The Auckland one was pretty full, I didn't see an empty seat. Not sure about Wellington.
Deal. It's saturday night. Heck, we might even watch some sport or something together.
Are you a cunt?
Besides there's no sports worth watching.
>not going immediately back home and shitpost on /a/
Bedtop sports for indoor types
So whats everyone's favourite drink?
Cider/whiskey here. But I drink most things.
>not ignoring communicating with people at the meetup solely through /a/
But I'll just drink NSW tap piss instead
>Sunday 9th Feb
>Wow everyone at sydney madoka meetup was the biggest pleb. I hope they all fucking die. Last time I do anything IRL ever.
Tap piss is tolerable
Except maybe VB/new.
is any anon going to go to the canberra screening?
where did they find all those cargo shorts?
Anon, I'm sorry to tell you this but I don't think many Australian politicians browse /a/.
i thought rog might come with me
Go ask the Japanese embasy
>yfw Kevin Rudd is a mahou shoujo
Every time man http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IW1-2JNXrCE Makes me proud to be /a/ustralian.
If there's another Perth screening and they have more signboards I'll definitely be going. I want that MadoHomu board.
no signboards is confirmed
What are the signboards for?
I'd almost forgot about this
You all know very well who's a magical girl when it comes to Australian politics.
I mean come on: young, idealistic, senator at 26 because someone fall sick, party leader then crash and burn.
Oh. Welp. Forget that then, I'll be happy with my KyoSaya.
I'll be so keen if there are more boards
Missed out last time
It's pretty unlikely though
>no 'fuckin' oath'
>no 'fuck a duck'
>no 'fucken spewin m8'
It could have been so much better
they're all 2channers who will look at you like filthy gaijin you are
Perhaps I'll go and see it again. It would be less crowded and hopefully with less cringy cosplay shit.
>hey guys I hope you liked the movie
>pls hang around, there will be a cosplay competition
They did the cosplay competition beforehand at my screening. I got there early so it wouldn't get awkward getting too my seat and I had to endure them preparing and the MC guy trying to interview audience members. It was pretty spaghetti inducing.
Not sure about the other showings but Perth's little cosplay contest was before the screening, so you're cornered.
Do you not like cringe humor?
I have better things to do.
I like cringing sometimes but a cosplay competition might be a bit too much for me to handle
mate after all this time i'm still on ep 8 of watamote and cannot proceed further
>I have better things to do.
>entirely in moon runes
>implying that's a bad thing
Have you seriously not learned nipspeak yet, anon?
>watching people awkwardly dress up like elevens
What's a good Melbourne pub for drinks afterwards?
>not reading bitstream directly using a hex editor
>so don't freak out
No, I will freak out. I will be so fucking pissed if we don't get it but everyone else does.
By the way, after the movie of Saturday, we had a 1000+ post thread pretty much discussing a meet up. Is anything actually going to happen?
It's pretty likely, lurk the thread.
>arrive five minutes before start of movie
>quietly find a nice decent seat for myself, haven't said a word to anybody
>immediately leave once it's over, walk directly to train station
>contemplate the movie, life and existence on the train trip home
>still haven't said a word to another human being
There's already a sydney meetup planned, and there was several perth anons posting before
I'm sure you can organise something
I will find you, Anon.
You Aussies need to man up and form some groups. Get drinks or eat sushi or something!
This is why you come to the meet-up. We're basically all in the same boat.
No, somone will say moshi moshhh~ to the cashier and i'll have to deck them. Drinks will be fine though
There's a bunch of good places for lunch around Leaderville that we can probably meet up if it happens.
Based on this thread everybody will be the considerate guy who's trying to avoid any awkward weeaboo shit.
Then after the first awkward weeb thing and a long silence everyone will cut loose and start acting like faggots
I can see it now
just stay home anon
Sounds like fun, why can't you relax?
At least you have the chance to go. I live up north and this is the closest anime screenings have come to me, yet they would still be a 2 hour plane flight away.
I don't give a shit about the Madoka movie, I will download that.
What I want to watch is Tiger and Bunny but only SA and Perth are screening it because of cons.
Fuck you Perth you shitty far away city with your shitty Wai-con.
There's also the fan cut, it will probably turn out better than the TV series.
Has that been fully released yet?
Last time I checked they were up to ep 3
It's up to ep 4 now.
What the hell is scary about Newtown?
Is there actually going to be a meet up? I saw the movie on Saturday and I'm probably too poor to watch again but I live down the road... I'd be keen.
14:30 at the Courthouse Hotel
I'll meet up with you guys, but I can't watch the movie sadly.
Chuck a few bucks in the pokies m8, get her singin', you'll be fucken sweet.
n-not really, w-what's wrong with hipsters anyway?
Good luck finding a table. Nahh, that's perfect actually, I'll come straight from work.
>What the hell is scary about Newtown?
There were so many PEOPLE there!
But they're all really friendly people! Even the meth addicts I've hung out with are really nice!
so how are we going to recognise each other
don't want to go round the pub like retards looking at people saying "/a/? /a/?"
>not recognizing /a/nons
Just look for people who you think would hang out on /a/. It will probably be easier than you think.
>come out for a bit
>we need to talk
How did Kyouko know where Sayaka lives?
We could.. reveal first names
or just pick out a shirt or something now
Use the secret handshake, idiot.
By tailing Madoka and Sayaka home after the "DO NOT THROW SOULS" incident?
Is the Newtown meetup just on Saturday? Are there any Sunday bros in this thread?
What, are you going to stand around doing a handshake by yourself to the bewilderment of all?
The same way she seems to almost always know where Sayaka is, I assume.
She stalks her.
awkward introduction questions avoided and fellow /a/nons instantly spotted
Are we all that bland that we have no distinguishing features to reveal and recognise by?
Isn't that a good thing?
All order the same unusual drink.
Or wear fedoras.
Perthfag here as well anon. I didn't even realize it came out last time. Let's hope it comes to this shithole
Maybe normally but not for the sake of meeting anons
But its not like I leave the house
I'm >>101503689 which garnered a lovely response
Just look for people awkwardly staring at their phones
Why don't you guys just start a thread when the meet up starts and post details on where in the pub the group is?
Same here. I didnt pay attention and only found out it was showing about 5 minutes before it started.
I hope to GOD another screening is going to be done
Does 4chan work well on your phone? It almost crashes mine.
Was planning on doing that, but I suppose the more notice anyone gets of a meetup is probably better
It loads fine but posting is fickle, massive response time and somethings doesn't post or does but doesn't say it did
Someone should make an IRC channel, it would probably work better.
If I make it, I'm coming straight from work so I'll probably be wearing all black - skinny jeans and doc martens. Also I'm Asian.
Heading to bed.
Let's scratch up a couple more meet-up threads closer to the date though. Newtown saturday seems to be coming along, and there's plenty of time. Night, anons.
After attempting to chat to some /a/nons on skype I've found that they're just as retarded as your standard anime fans. Considering going to the Brisbane screening but thinking I might regret the shit out of it.
Bankstown my hometown mentioned on 4chan
I shed a single tear
If they had of said something earlier I may have been able to get some time off work.
Too bad all the meet ups seem to be in Sydney, I wouldn't want to go alone.
I was always against the idea of going to a screening unless I could find an actual friend mostly because it'd be boring by myself and I couldn't put up with the cringe
But the Rebellion screenings at the start of the week got pretty positive reception from /a/nons
May as well take the plunge
I have promised myself I'll never step foot in a convention though
No one is asking you to talk to people. Feel free to miss out on a great film though.
I think most of us are going alone. The point of the meet-up is to actually hang out and maybe talk about anime IRL for once without your pleb friends that watch DBZ.
>After attempting to chat to some /a/nons on skype
This always turns into either every retard attempting to get a word in at the same time, or everyone is quiet and one or two people talk because they aren't completely autismal.
Movie then crown for drinks yeah?
I suppose I'll never know till I try it. Guess I'm heading to the Brisbane screening then. Hope I'm pleasantly surprised like some anons were.
If we get the movie.
But I'm 11, I can't go in those places
Every single time I find those two words on the same page, I can't help but remembering Rog's pronunciation of Chinese Cartoons.
Careful. Someone might take you seriously and you might get banned.
As an 11 year old, I dont think you understand how drunk anons work. One way or another, we always end up at maccas. So you can wait outside while the grown ups (term used lightly) are drinking.
Better not become drunken arguments about saki being a shit. Just calling it now.
And you better be buying us a round of beer nuts anon.
Beer nuts? I can handle that. Beers on the other hand, depends how many are going.
His accent is fucking retarded though
Australian grandmas like watching Madoka. Who would have thought?
>His accent is fucking retarded though
What? Is it some kind of Australian hillbilly accent?
Pretty sure some guy was talking about how there were two old women in the cinemas he went to. He said he was expecting them to be when their granddaughter or something, but no, it was just the two of them.
It's just a really strong Australian accent. Some people just have a really strong Australian accent, and others don't.
Madoka is generic /v/ermin tier shit, it's expected really
We don't really get a hillbilly equivalent accent
I suppose it's not accent, it's just everything he pronounces and all his inflections sound wrong even when not trying to pronounce moon
He's got a bit of a lisp too
I suppose you could liken it to G-Man in Half Life but obviously not as extreme
It might be for a granddaughter or something
But there was an anon talking about two 70+ year old women entering a theatre together, no children in sight
I guess I can imagine a scenario where two grandmas stumble upon the show on ABC3 and become fans of it. If they just entered the cinema without seeing the series on the other hand, I would love to have seen their reaction to the movie.
Maybe they're lesbians and so consider this show relevant to their interests?
Nothing wrong with that
Geez... was hoping there'd be a screening for Gold Coast. They did it for a few movies last year.
I live 6+ hours from any city so at the very least one for GC Supanova would have been good. Only con I go to, if only because of the location.
How many perth anons went last time? I had to miss out because of work.
I call them talkies.
There was no meetup or anything, but judging from the last thread there was at least 5 or more.
>STILL NO GERMANY SCREENINGS
Apparently the Britain got none at all too
Unless it was just London
Yeah, I'm pretty sure that France is the only European country to have Rebellion screenings. I could travel to a country where I can easily get by train or ship, but living in Finland and having acrophobia is suffering.
