Man, am I the only on guilt of this:
I hit the pause button on some shows to browse /a/. Sometimes It takes me an hour to watch an episode that is 24 minutes.( I also have dual screen)
Am I more entertain by /a/ then anime itself?
You are not alone.
I find myself doing the same thing. I try to multiple task both, but it is impossible because of subtitles.
Whenever the MC starts being a FUCKING RETARD I have to pause and pace back and forth a bit to relieve my second hand embarrassment.
During Op and ED, I would do the same. Otherwise not really.
When something big or interesting comes up in anime, yeah sometimes I'll pause it and jump to /a/ to see if anyone talked about it.
Best example was SamFlam and the Gorilla, stopped right when the fucker killed the first policeman, and went right to /a/.
I'm doing that right now. It takes me fucking forever to finish anime.
Its funny when reading manga, this behavior never happens. But with anime it happen quite often
Most of /a/ is like that.
I do this frequently.
It's kinda nice for really good series' as it makes them seem to last longer.
I do this too
The engrish in Kiniro Mosaic was too cringeworthy I had to take a 5 minute /a/ break every 30 seconds.
I do this a lot whenever something pops up I feel an urge to talk about it here...and of course I end up spending an hour in random threads and not talking about the anime I was watching, actually I'm pausing an anime right now.
4chan is fucking addicting.
Sometimes I pause because cant keep up with the subs or I misinterpret a sentence. But for some reason after a play a game of osu on meduim or hard, my reading speed doubles.
Usually just during the OP/ED because I feel like it's better than just skipping them completely.
This has to be some kind of addiction or disorder.
I'ts gotten so bad for me I literally have not watched any anime at all for a month yet I come to /a/ for at least an hour every day
Oh thank God, I'm not the only one.
>this entire thread
It seems we're all autists.
>not being here all day
>Getting dual screen to multiple task
> Mission failed since one screen is usually on freeze frame.
I feel your pain OP
>Anime is good
Can watch for hours
>Anime is bad
Keep pausing to browse /a/
>Anim... Wait, what the fuck did I just watch?
Finish the episode, browse /a/ for the rest of the day.
The same happens with manga too.
I find it addicting because it's like talking to yourself but not yourself at the same time.
For example, this thread. /a/ is best bro and worst bro
>normal or hard
>improve reading speed at all
i wot m8
I do both of these
