/a/

I've been out of touch with anime for a while. I don't think I've been interested since around the time K-ON season 2 aired. What was the general /a/ consensus on Kids On the Slope? I think I'm going to watch it. Bebop and Champloo were two of my favorites.

I really liked it. Good music, good animation, good story.

shoujo-tier love drama. annoying cast. subpar music and not even much of a music anime at all since relationship faggotry was the main focus.

How long would it take you to download the first episode, watch it, and then judge for yourself? About 30 minutes, give or take?

I fucking loved it and thought it was one of the best of the past few years

>subpar music

Nigga you have to go find new taste. This one is pretty shit.

All this TASTE.

If you ignore the last act of the show's last ep, then it's pretty great, add in that last 15 or so minutes? Meh.

>Actually listening to Art Blakey right this second, 2spooky

Nothing like Bebop and Champloo, but some superb music scenes. Outside of the music and animation, it wasn't anything special.

>>101486742
This was 90% of /a/s opinion of it while it was airing.

>>101487424
And this is what /a/ says now. I don't get the change, but you aren't going to get a good answer from here really.

I dropped this anime after some anon post the ending of the manga.

I like the music, the OP and the soundtrack.
Anybody here know where I can get more of Mabanua? All links I've found on internet are already dead.

It's Dawson's Creek with occasional good music.
There's also this really out of place rotoscoped scene.
>>
It started off really promising, then after the concert it entrenched itself in romance subplots, I didn't care for that. At least the ending reigned it back in to the MC and the drummer. Their relationship on its own could have carried the show without all the shoujo nonsense.

That's what I was going to post if either of you two didn't.
