What are some of the most one sided fights in all anime & manga? Not just a big power difference, but some of the most cruel beat downs, the most brutal curb stomps imaginable.
DBZ had its fair share.
Going full casual here, but aside from the typical DBZ beat downs. Ash using Pikachu in any episode post season 3. From what I could remember.
Alucard vs Luke Valentine.
He seems like a semi-cool guy, gets one shot in and then Alucard just eats him.
It's true that Alucard doesn't really have a hard time when facing most of his opponents, but that fight with Luke was pretty much the very definition of disposing of a cannon fodder character.
I'd even argue that fighting his brother might have been a more interesting fight, maybe.
I liked how pants shittingly terrified he was once Alucard stopped messing around. I actually felt sorry for him. Thought he was hot shit, and suddenly he's an extra in a slasher movie.
Only against Team Rocket. Every other instance, it's handicapped by the writers to make it interesting. Pikachu is reserved for the important fights (rivals, gyms, leagues) and even still it only comes onto the field as a sign that shit is supposed to get real.
Speaking of one-sided Pokemon fights.
That pissed me off so bad.
The current fight with Priscilla. She is fucking EVERYONE up. I mean, EVERYONE.
Holy fuck that was fucking stupid.
/vp/ exploded that day.
The entire Sea King arc was just one shit stomp after another.
I love you /sp/
An unbridled carve stomp on poor Team Rocket.
Raki just got her
He didn't get her in the head, she's not done for in the slightest. It's gonna take the biggest of ass pulls to down her if she doesn't just get bored and fly to the continent.
As long as Raki doesn't die I accept any kind of asspulls
This was depressing.
Here's a classic
anything with yamcha in it
Mihawk vs Zoro
Crocodile Vs luffy 1st fight
any itachi vs sagay pre-ts
Alucard vs. insert name here
Shigekiyo Yangu fighting Kira was heartbreaking.
Nobody deserves a beating that bad.
The scene in volume 3 where he just rips apart the swat team is the best.
The worst superbowl I have ever seen
At least the halftime show wasn't fucking Madonna
This scene hurt
What? God-mode Anderson very nearly killed him, did he not?
Dio vs Joseph was also very one sided.
I like Madonna
What happened with that guy anway? He didn't appear latter in a movie either. He just raped everyone in the tournamente then disappeared.
The only thing I really remember of that is something about how Anderson can't kill Alucard because Anderson threw away his humanity
Yujiro Hanma vs any other character in Baki
Madara's Wild Ride is currently as one-sided as it is bullshit.
First fight especially, but even the second was fairly one sided until the last second.
Source? Google and sauce nao failed hard
She's done man.
Bitch is 55 years old.
Veins the size of bones.
Then again the Chili Peppers guy is like 50 and he was jumping around shirtless
Almost every Zeppelli fight was pretty one-sided
Guts vs. 100+ soldiers.
Yea it was pretty brutal.
It was boring as fuck. Most people I talked to were just fine with either team winning since they both were 'good' and deserved it but that stinker was just so damn lame.
yujiro hanma vs. swarm of bats
Alucard was one body for that, he had used all of his lives to kill the nazis and church forces. And even then he won.
Writers probably wrote themselves in a corner.
They needed a way to end the current arc in time for Best Wishes, but they probably realized "shit we actually made Ash's team good this time around" and that after the Paul battle, there was literally nothing they could write that would make a believable loss other than a complete curbstomp by a bunch of legendary Pokemon.
The Nappa one is pretty great. Three prominent characters killed, and he's barely even scratched. Takuto's Darkrai in pokemon was pretty OP too.
Only Will vs Tarkus and Caesar vs Wham when he had just awakened were one sided. Caesar vs Wham the second time and everything Gyro wasn't one sided at all.
Last game Manning didn't even get fucking touched, that's how good the Broncos defense was.
This game he got swarmed hard enough to throw like, what, three interceptions?
Not to mention that snap.
It was seriously like watching high school football.
I should give some credit to Seattle, they have clearly been trained to strip the ball on every play, that was pretty impressive
From Naruto i remember Killer Bee kicking Taka's ass.
Actually the green haired girl is more "powerful" but she's getting tortured because she's tied to something.
Hit submit too soon.
So basically yeah his only purpose was to show up, win, and leave. He's not even considered rival status and no one talks about him again.
The biggest "fuck you" moment of that battle was when Ash finally managed to ko Darkrai, being the only person in the entire league to accomplish that, then he just sends out another fucking legendary.
Killer Bee got his ass stomped in the end. He himself knew it, that's why he decieved them and escaped.
Nah, he just wanted to fake his death so he could run off and become a travelling rapper, so he threw the end of the battle.
literally the first and only result
I think I was laughing my ass off at that point because of how fucked Ash was. As trollish/annoying as it was, it's easily one of my favorite parts of the pokemon anime. Imagine what would have come after Latios. Maybe Heatran or something?
>Three prominent characters killed
>Not bothering to count Yamcha
Well, he didn't die fighting Nappa.
Uh, no. Alucard still had over 3 million lives left when he absorbed Schrödinger.
Well, Nappa didn't kill Yamcha, though.
thats because nappa didn't kill him. a saibamen did
It was just when he had started losing because Amaterasu was too much for him.
I think we can just agree everything in DBZ and most of the fights in Bleach are basically one-sided.
was too absorbed with gendo's bad parenting in that scene to admire the beatdown
he got fucked the fuck up
That was just power difference, read the OP.
I like to believe that the rest that the original Mewtwo stopped showing up is because Tobias captured it at some point.
Completely one-sided. Couldn't even pin her for the 10-second hold.
>but some of the most cruel beat downs, the most brutal curb stomps imaginable.
And OP was a pretty fucking big power difference as well.
Things like this is one of the reasons OP does a good job of handling power levels.
I think with DBZ, it's more worthwhile to count the battles that WEREN'T one-sided than the ones that were. So off the top of my head, we got Goku vs. Vegeta prior to the Oozaru transformation, Piccolo vs. second form Freezer, Goku vs. Freezer before going up to 50% power, SSJ Goku vs. 100% Freezer (for just a bit, as it turns into a stomp later)... and from there it's pretty much all one-sided stomps until Goku vs. Cell.
Not really a curbstomp. Nui just sorta parries until Ryuko goes Berserk, then she spends the rest of the fight 'huehuehue'ing around the arena until Satsuki comes in.
What about the second Nui encounter?
>that snapping sound
Maybe it's because I marathoned S;G while I had to deal with R;N weekly, but that entire scene left a much bigger impact than episode 12 of S;G.
He wasn't even using all of his power, a bijuu dama and it's game over.
The people from this board tend to be too assy when it comes to provide sauce, it's Mnemosyne. Great imo.
what about the second fight, where she goes "I'm bored!" and wrecks her
Well Tien vs Imperfect Cell was at least pretty fun. He knew he couldn't win so he did what every low tier player does in a fighting game and beamspammed.
Frieza final form vs Vegeta.
Speaking of Evangelion, there's the end of this fight.
There was also WB vs Akainu. WB got half his face burnt off, but besides that Akainu got his shit pushed in.
I love Yamcha's death scene from a story stand point. It just sets the mood for the fight. Their friend just died and they don't even time to mourn him(except they do in the anime which ruins it). There is just a slight hope that all the characters try to latch onto that just gets slimmer and slimmer as the battle goes on.
I hate that one NR knew that they can't defeat her but I couldn't beleave she destroyed them with ease
Goku vs Cell was the best thing in DBZ. Not from all DB, that's Goku vs Tien or Piccolo.
Oh man, he was the only one to beat the Straw Hats single handedly.
Pretty much everything in this. If a human got a queerrat and if the fiend got a human.
RIP Shisui ;_;
I mean, obviously.
ash actually did pretty well against him
which only solidifies why sinnoh ash is best ash
I just re-watched the movie today. God that was just horrible to watch again.
>No mention of the Ladd Russo beatdown from Baccano
This shit was amazing
There's Mustang vs Lust. That was pretty one sided.
Don't forget Graham Specter.
It's probably that. R;N was really bad.
Piccolo was the best fucking character, the only intelligent hero besides. I'm still mad about how irrelevant he became.
He used one. Suigetsu took it. In the end he would have lost. And fuck you for spoonfeeding.
Damn I love Ladd, but I try not to think about Baccano too much. Clairey Sue killed it for me. Speaking of which, anything involving Claire is inherently one sided because he's Claire.
The second one was better. That fucking smile.
The dub is awful.
That's not helping
>Series is about gangsters in new york
>Hating on dub ladd
People actually defend that dub
It's just bad. Besides Keiji did a fantastic job on top of being great himself.
There that Chaos fight at SnO Chapter 56. I don't get why Ikaros is called the strongest Angeloid in all of history when it's shown that Chaos and Astraea surpass her.
Cause the dub is good. I'm sorry but the series about gangsters in New York. The characters speak large amounts of Engrish in the japanese version saying US names and terms not to mention the dub added accents and period slang
It wasn't very one sided considering he lost an arm and almost died because of the powerup.
One of the most satisfying beatdowns I have ever seen.
Blowouts aren't automatically boring, quit being so casual.
Too bad it was Raizen. And that that's exactly the point it jumped the shark.
Pretty sure it jumped the shark during NO YUSUKE YOU ARE THE DEMONS, so a little bit before that.
Hiei vs Zeru
Any Hao fight, even the last one
I thought the pic you posted was from when he revived, so you are right. At least the last arc wasn't more fights.
Kukoro no Basket the middle school years
Also Aomine vs Seirin the first time and Midorima vs Akashi. Akashi vs Serin so far too.
He doesn't go brutal curb stomp. He ends thing quickly.
That was pretty severe. On the comedic end of the spectrum, there's this. Dude never stood a chance.
That wasn't comedic at all. Luffy was serious as fuck, that's the only reason he 1HKO'd him.
In the Strawhats defense, they had just got done with fighting a couple Pacifista's (who are weaker versions of Kuma), Kizaru, and the Marines who confronted them at the Slave Market.
Full strength Straw Hats would have put up a much much better fight, although still definitely losing.
I'm sorry, I just said comedic because my friend and I laughed out loud when he got taken down so quick. We both saw it coming, but we were cracking up nonetheless.
Pacifistas aren't jackshit compared to Kuma. Even at full power the result would have been the same, maybe with only a little more struggle.
You don't need to apologise.
Once Ramenman got in the right mood to fight, it took about 3 pages to wreck Motorman.
Wasn't that explained? Astrea is strong close range but lacks any meaningful long-range options so once you get out of her range you can win pretty easy. Also she's a great big dumbass and tends to fuck up unless she decides to forget how dumb she is for plot reasons.
I enjoy the Envy fight better
>not strongest angel vs one armed 01
Kenshi vs. Dagmyer in Isekai was about as one-sided as you can get.
Really, all but the final fight was composed exclusively of Kenshi shitstomping everyone else in that series.
Asemu vs. Zeheart.
Fucking outdated as shit suit vs. What's basically one of the best 2 in the series and he fucking wrecks the guy in like 15 seconds.
anything in OnePunch Man
also, where the fuck is chapter 42 for OnePunch Man?
This fight depressed the shit out of me. meruem really was fucking invincible. usually the wise old guy always wins in terms of strength, but the fact that he needed to resort to such a shitty tactic to beat him made me feel like netero gave up in the end. he acted more like a childish asshole than a noble fighter ready to die.
and considering that the strongest good guy in the series was swatted like a fly, really took the wind out of my sails for the rest of the series. why bother with the dark continent arc? it's obvious humans are weak as shit, even the strongest ones can't survive.
And yet Teresa is still so much stronger, I still can't believe she let her guard down like that.
I really wish there will be a flashback chapter where she uses more than 10% of her power, but that's essentially impossible.
Respect to scanlators and all but I do feel like I'm missing a lot by not reading it in the original moon.
That phrasing is just so awkward and clunky, there's no eloquence in translated manga at all
That shit was hard to read. I really liked fatty.
Teresa was only stronger than Claymore Priscilla.
It's the most fun I've had reading Naruto in the longest time.
Yeah, I love games where one team only gets 11 yards in the first quarter
After Latios in his team was Vegeta & Goku.
Hxh should've ended at Gon meeting his dad finally but Togashi a shit.
Also, the Zodiacs were fucking boring.
banned from all leagues forever for being a legendary-using scrub
Chaos should still be stronger than Ikaros.
can't blame the guy for wanting a job where you can take year long hiatus' whenever you want. but i'm sure even he knows he's gonna die before he gets even close to a "complete" ending for the series
Kurapika still has to finish the Ryodan. And Gon vs Hisoka and Killua vs Illumi have to happen before the end. Also Gyro.
No one knew Teresa's limit, that was the whole point.
At 0 percent she was stronger than the other top 5, at 10% she was stronger than top 5 + 1/2 awakened Priscilla.
Latios and Latias aren't Uber, so it isn't that bad.
I first thought when the organization was talking about resurrecting the most powerful claymores that it would have been the perfect time to throw Theresa back into the story. For someone so powerful to be taken out by a bitch move like that, it really ticked me off.
Priscilla is worst girl of all of anime.
Not to mention he ate her finger.
You're comparing some shitty Chinese bootleg shit to high quality name brand stuff made with decent parts and whatnot. Of course the bootleg is going to be inferior even if the specs are supposedly higher.
honestly still would've been better cut short, it just would've felt right.
there's too many loose ends to tie up at this point, better to just cut your losses and end on a good note.
Teresa's body is in Clare so it's impossible to do that.
Am I the only one who thought the "disgusting" things about their bodies was underwhelming? I thought it would be really disgusting, but it wasn't.
Didn't Chaos completely kick everyone's ass in chapter 56?
There's no way he would end the story with all those loose ends. It would be a shit ending. I'd rather he stayed in hiatus until he died than he finished like that.
Reading Touma's fight against Tsuchimikado was like that, dude dropped him and his dad with no effort at all
i haven't read the series in years, what was it? i bet it was a gross face coming out of their body, wasn't it?
Only her head. They brought back Cassandra with even less than that I think.
are you dumb? a neverending hiatus is strictly worse than an incomplete ending, it just gives readers false hope.
Are we sure it was only her head? They must have found the rest, I don't think there's any Youma in the head.
A clean scar.
They are the same, except having hope is good. And it's not like we would know it was a neverending hiatus. It'd let me enjoy everything there already is a lot more without leaving a bad taste.
Jumped the shark? Maybe.
Totally awesome? Absolutely.
I felt like posting this, but I felt like netero won. The Limitless Malice also showed that Humans themselves will break it down to the base values when it takes a win.
It's a giant opening that never heals, imagine this but with a human female.
Essentially this, but the center is sewn up.
There is no bigger one sided ass kicking, NO bigger absolute shit fucking than every single Captain vs Momo.
>It's a giant opening that never heals, imagine this but with a human female.
so a vagina?
Clare only brought the head back with her, but knowing the organization they recovered the body too. As far as I know, they only put the head inside Clare.
Anyway, it would have made for a pretty sick twist if mother fucking Theresa of the faint smile came back to wreck shit up. She would have made for a much more conflicting antagonist than Priscilla ended up being.
Katanagatari Boss Rush up to Emonzaemon
The thing that irks me about the Aizen battle is that almost nobody used their Bankai. It was dumb as fuck, even if it'd have killed everyone, it was better than letting Aizen win. And even Aizen didn't use his Bankai, I hate that about Bleach.
This battle showed me that Ash is always gonna lose the Pokemon League no matter what and Pokemon is gonna keep on going for generations.
ANY fight involving rararararagi is one-sided. I haven't read it, but wasn't the novel version of Yozuru fight much worse than what actually happened?
Way to miss the point of the fight and its outcome.
Winning, even in death. Winning, even by disgusting, perverse means. THAT is the terrifying power of humans. The point of the fight is that nobility has no place in war, whoever wins wins. And that is why humans, 'weak as shit' still stand a chance.
The scariest part is that the bomb was relatively weak.
Can anyone kill this guy? Accelerator? Goku? Gilgamesh?
whenever you ask if someone can beat goku, always first say: can he survive being blown up with the planet?
Before Schroedinger a lot of people. After that noone, it's literally impossible.
All three of those people should be able to theoretically
Not counting his powers at the end of course
Goku would die too, so there's that. And he wouldn't do it.
>my screen doesn't have enough resolution to have asuka come through it looking beatiful
Feels really bad man
Sea Kind was easily the best OPM villain so far. The whole arc was great.
The only reason why Meruem beat Netero was because of Gungi. It taught him so much and shaped him into a better person.
Tail Star. I didn't kept reading, but the but guys where seriously overpowered while the good guy was a little kid with just above normal human strength.
Not after he consumed Schrödinger. The whole plan to make him consume something that exists and doesn't exist at the same time to make his immortality collapse onto itself plan only wiped him from the world for 30 or something years. then he returned with only one life left, but now it's impossible to kill him at all. Fuck, Schrödinger even appeared sentient in one of the character's memories because he exists everywhere at once.
You can't be this dellusional. Without Komugi Netero would have died before even getting to attack Meruem after they entered the castle.
there was no "terrifying power of humans". the ants bested humans in every possible way, not even a single one of the protagonists managed to beat meruem or the royal guard fairly. how many fights up til now in hxh have ended with gon saying "i don't want to win in that way, i want to win using my own morals"?
also you have to ask why they didn't just bomb the shit out of the palace to begin with before they called people to the selection. it would have made a lot more sense if they had done that when there were only a handful of ants inside. even that coward knov could have accomplished that much.
Zeno would still be there.
>tfw my second favorite team is the Broncos
>tfw my favorite team is the Oakland Raiders, holy shit
I think I'm just going to stop rooting for teams in the Super Bowl.
Captcha: suffer avingsty
And he would be killed shortly before or after. Meruem was on a whole different level. And everyone would have died after Netero's heart stopped beating either way.
In fact without Komugi the whole plan would have failed because everything was based on the third party they didn't know.
Could Touma punch him in this last form and manage to win? What about Shiki and whatever bullshit he uses?
zeno a shit
in fact, the whole zoldyck family a shit. gotta give em credit for killing that useless piece of shit cheetu though. one of the rare times a death has actually made me pop a boner.
He just wants to show you his new move man
>The thing that irks me about the Aizen battle is that almost nobody used their Bankai
>And even Aizen didn't use his Bankai
It's pointless to go all out if the fight is still one-sided when your opponent isn't going all out. Also if you read Bleach you'd know that Bankai are more hindrance than help in 90% of battles.
Tohno Shiki couldn't. Ryougi could if Alucard hadn't killed her before. Touma could punch him, but that wouldn't kill him.
what is this manga anon?
It has never been a hindrance has it?
Gon a shit, seriously. Enhancers are the most boring faggots ever.
Goku can use instant transmission to travel through space so he could just teleport to another planet after destroying the first one.
Pretty much every "fight" in monogatari.
Kagenui's is my favorite though.
Netero and Youpi were great.
>not even a single one of the protagonists managed to beat meruem or the royal guard fairly
oh no, they didnt beat them fairly
they did WIPE OUT THEIR RACE pretty successfully though
He still wouldn't do it. And Alucard would survive.
I can't wait for Pariston to reproduce them
We don't know that. They only wiped out the ones that came from the bigass queen. There's other smaller queens. And even then Koala, Kite, Meleoron, the first ant faggot, and some others survived.
Those poor large strong men.
Soi Fon's specialty is stealthy kills, and her Bankai is a projectile three times her size.
Komamura's giant warrior Bankai puts the same damage it gets onto Komamura himself (to scale).
Even Ichigo was unable to handle his own Bankai's body wear against Byakuya, which is what forced his Hollow to emerge.
And this isn't even considering that a damaged Bankai never repairs, with a few exceptions (Komamura, Mayuri).
This mother fucker from Gantz
Sakamaki Izayoi and most of his fights
Alucard is undead, he doesn't need air to breath. He'll be stuck in space but he wouldn't die
It is more useful in a battle.
Isn't his shikai the same but for parts?
He had just awoken it and he was stronger than with his shikai, otherwise he'd have lost.
The point is a bankai won't break unless you use it like an idiot.
yes really I can't be expected to learn every anime and manga like this board wants to believe
That dude was OP
I'm not telling.
I immediately stopped watching the show after this because I realized it wasn't going to get any better than seeing that annoying MC get absolutely wrecked.
Shotafaggot uses his bankai in just about every fight, as does Ichigo. Kenpachi's bankai will probably be ridiculous if we ever see it.
Speaking of Kenpachi, Tousen's bankai was pretty damn good but he chose the worst person to use it against.
Nurarihyon was worse, he took out everyone worthwhile from Osaka. It was bullshit that they beat him.
Grimmjow fucking wrecked Ichigo during their first encounter, if not for Tousen Ichigo would've died.
Arguably yes but not in every situation; against Aizen it would be useless since you'd never hit your target, only your allies.
I think the Shikai are only bits of the armor; there is a body in Bankai which is only shown once.
The point still stands that a Bankai isn't just an instant powerup, and that all the captains spamming their best attack against an illusionist would be the dumbest thing ever.
Shota's bankai is just ice, and it's still underdeveloped for a bankai. Ichigo actually did have his bankai broken, but then training arc fixed it. And two your second point, yes, and yes.
>multiple ants are shown to still be alive at the end of the arc
>others are shown earlier on traveling to other countries
He was the coolest ginyu and he got jobbed so hard
It would have gone better than it did no question.
This whole fight
The fight was never going to go there way; only an idiot would think to the contrary. The fun part is Aizen didn't actually want to kill any of them; the more sacrifices for his Godhood the better. And considering the circumstances of the current arc they need every advantage they can get.
Well, Char's defeat in CCA. The battle starts even, but at some point in the middle it's very clear that Amuro just overpowers Char in every way regarding piloting. Char's pitifu attempot to get revenge on the battlefield ends with his escape pod being taken as the ultimate humiliation. And it gets only better from this moment on
ruirui vs katze
and then joe vs katze
but mostly rui vs katze
It's time to Body Time! BODY TIME!!
Aizen will show up. They talked to him, so he HAS to have done something, there's no way Kubo will fuck this up.
Can't stop watching
I am pretty sure that is the real dialogue from the english published volume as well. Along with the anime
he beat the Ginyu Force that one time
he probably one a few baseball games
Appledelhi v Spike was even more of a curb stomp
Anshin'in showing off 600 of her techniques against canon fodder just for kicks.
no, he reabsorbed the lives, which is how Schrödinger got absorbed into him, while fighting "the monster of god" he had only his life left
The world vs Tomoya, in Clannad AS
now I don't find his death nearly as funny
thanks a lot, jerk
netero was an enhancer? i thought he was a conjurer or something with that big buddha thing
though i still barely understand the workings of that shit so whatever
>not best Australian
m8 do you even coolest
Was that ever stated? I thought he just spammed a fuckton of familiars but not all of them.
He was an enhancer, but I think that was emission as the main nen type.
i remember them saying that its was "all of the lives hw has consumed"
Why can't he be killed at all now? Shouldn't he be easier to kill because he only has 1 life stock left? Or does he now exist and not exist at the same time or bullshit
That's the reason he went back to being Vlad.
it counts as anime if asians ended up animating it, right?
Yes he has Schrödinger's power. He can live in memories. This is beyond timefuckery.
I still wonder why Schrödinger did just fight Alucard though, sure he's weak but he can't die as well. He'd kill Alucard eventually if he wanted to.
Without a doubt
Couldn't he just have believed that he wasn't being eaten and then he wouldn't have been? I don't really remember how it happened
holy shit I just laughed so hard
>does he now exist and not exist at the same time
Every fight against Alucard is a one-sided fight.
>Killed for 30 years by the shota cat nazi.
>Just kidding, banned from server for 30 years. Delayed respawn.
He's broken as fuck, and such a cunt, I love him.
but dat Seras tho
Did he seriously just float up to Darkseid and punch him?
What was he hoping to accomplish with that?
Nevermind I just looked it up. I get it now. Hitlerman misunderstood what would happen when Alucard was 'poisoned' by Shrodinger.
Save the hamboigas, save the world
The whole plan was to get him eaten so doing that was his whole purpose.
he absored all the blood into himself. the cat boy killed himself so he could kill Alucard by making it so he can't use his powers
he ends up nearly dying and spends the next 30 years killing/ getting rid of all hos familiars/memories of others down to 2 himself and the cat boy which ended up becoming one full being as the orginal alucard
Alucard exists everywhere and nowhere all at once now. think of Schrödinger's cat, Alucard is basically like that. as long he stays aware of his own existence that is
The Gantzers were pretty stupid, though. If they had ripped the hand with the circle thing in first place, they would have won in no time
>Willingly going down to your final life against your most powerful opponent ever, when you have millions consumed
Alucard is pretty ballsy I have to say.
That's what I've been saying the whole time, the question is whether he released all his lives before fighting Anderson or just a part of them.
he released all of his familiars most likely. he had millions upon millions so hard to say. I am sure it went down like that
Anderson lost when he threw away his humanity anyway, if he didn't he could have done in Alucard
>thinking he was ever really in trouble
I am sure Alucard could have easily brought one of his extra lives back quick enough, I think it was he just showed his true power when he could release his control restrictions and still had extra lives in wait
What about her destroying monkey with her little finger.
The lack of information given to them at the beginning of the missions kinda fuck them, and they can only learn through trial and error
It's not about learning every anime in existence it's about not being a lazy faggot and using google yourself.
But it wasn't, he trained hard to help his friend defeat and impossible, but stills he manages to surface himself, and then dies.
Well, almost all of Bleach is one sided fights or extreme ties with sudden power-ups to settle everything, but this was over 4 or 5 episodes of just straight one sided fights after another.
This fight was hilariously one sided, especially given the fact that the two main characters of the series just got done massively jobbing for the guy getting his shit pushed in.
And Kiyomaro died.
Poor Chaka. He needed to get a grip.
This was painful to watch
Damn. Ouch. Yeah that's pretty bad.
One of my favorite animu
>complaining about making smart use of the options he had available
>not a scrub
the retarded part was when that MAX Level guy just left the battle and then the Garou dude just came back with his head.
Every fight against Alucard ever.
He ripped off Ulqiorra's arm and threw it at him as a diversionary tactic. It was beautiful.
to make matters worse, he goes instead of Krillin who couldn't be revived anymore.
That could've been him.
>Also, the Zodiacs were fucking boring.
I whole heartedly disagree. That Snake, Rabbit and Dog man.
>also you have to ask why they didn't just bomb the shit out of the palace to begin with before they called people to the selection.
Because of Pitou's en you stupid fuck.
>not even a single one of the protagonists managed to beat meruem or the royal guard fairly.
Gon beat Pitou, and Knuckle would've won against Youpi but he didn't want to let his teacher die.
It doesn't matter anyway, because the ants got wrecked.
>In fact without Komugi the whole plan would have failed because everything was based on the third party they didn't know.
since the plan banked on Netero dying, and the poison spreads, they would still win.
the dumb part was Yamamoto WATCHING AIZEN FUCK THEM ALL AND THEN GOING TO FIGHT WITH INTENTION OF KILLING HIMSELF.
WHY? YOU KNEW HOW TO WIN.
IF YOU HELPED THEM, THEY COULD'VE FOUGHT WONDERWEISS YOU STUPID FUCK.
why didn't Ichigo fight wonderweiss?
Loved the Ippo vs Karasawa fight. After countless fights where the MC gets the shit beat out of him and comes back with standard shonen-style toughness for the win, Ippo finally just straight up dominates the dude, and does it with no tricks or secret technique bullshit.
What sort of scenario are you trying to propose? If Yamamoto went swinging with Ryujin Jakka he'd do more damage to his comrades than to Aizen. The only guaranteed victory was mutually-assured destruction; and Wonderweiss came out of left field, no one could have predicted he'd be Aizen's master stroke. Ichigo was meant to be backup in case the Gotei failed; they'd never risk him fighting Wonderweiss and getting caught in the blazes when Yama clearly didn't need help barehand boxing him. Any more inconsistencies you need help clearing up?
I figured more people remembered this:
Skip to 3:00 for the fight, to 6:00 for when shit gets ugly
Bomb a head, all day everyday.
>What sort of scenario are you trying to propose?
>wait to get cut, feel Aizen's Reiatsu
>Fuck his shit
>if any of the espada jump in, the captains handle it
Wow. So hard.
But no, let me watch my captain's squirm, he had a point that it was their responsibility, but that WAS NOT THE TIME.
You have plenty of time to scold them when you're alive.
>Every fight against Alucard
>Posting the character that actually gave him some trouble
You're missing the point entirely; the Gotei needed a plan to both stop Aizen and the Espada from reaching the Human World and to eliminate Aizen as a threat completely. Aizen and Yamamoto may be on equal grounds in power, but that went out the window completely once Wonderweiss came into the picture. The Gotei never stood a chance, they just didn't realize it until it was much too late to change the outcome. Hence, Ichigo, or more correctly, Kisuke.
I remember thinking how sweet it was that Zoro's going to beat the strongest swordsman already
> Aizen and Yamamoto may be on equal grounds in power, but that went out the window completely once Wonderweiss came into the picture.
This is why you don't let everyone of your captains get cut down like an idiot.
I can't believe you're defending this, if Yamamoto took on Aizen, the captains could've handled wonderweiss.
He was a specific counter to Yamamoto, even NOT knowing that prior. Why the fuck wouldn't he just help instead of setting up A SUICIDE ATTACK?
I heard this motherfucker literally cancelled out the theme music and replaced it with his fighting OST.
Now that's just mean.
>that fucking scene
>seeing his ambition crushed before his eyes
>a wound on the back is a swordsman's greatest honor
Too bad 3000 worlds is such a stupid fucking attack. That shit has 0 practical use in an actual fight.
then he gets slapped by his momma in the manga.
GLs are retards
fuck, I meant greatest shame
>if Yamamoto took on Aizen, the captains could've handled wonderweiss.
Wonderweiss was a complete wildcard; he had both above-Captain level strength and took out two Visard with energy to spare for Yamamoto. Aizen wouldn't have let Wonderweiss use Resurrection until all other variables were taken care of; he could have had Yamamoto take out his entire squad of captains if he so desired. The reason they all fought Aizen at once was to buy them time for one strategy with the highest chance of success; its easy to say in hindsight "take out WW first" but you're assuming they had that knowledge to begin with. Most of the captains were already exhausted from fighting the Espada, Aizen was merely playing them to draw out his real opponent.
Tl,dr; quit being dense.
I liked this thread. Don't have any hugs, so here, have this.
>he could have had Yamamoto take out his entire squad of captains if he so desired.
What? No he fucking couldn't, Yamamoto knew the trick to Aizen's illusions, feel out his reiatsu.
Yamamoto wouldn't attack until he felt it, and he did show he was capable of doing it twice (even when badly burned by wonderweiss).
Why he didn't teach that to the other Gotei Captains is another fucking mystery.
>Too bad 3000 worlds is such a stupid fucking attack.
I'm with you on that. For some reason, in a lot of One Piece games, 3000 Worlds is always his ultimate attack, despite the fact he has Shishi Sonson in his arsenal in the same game.
Actually, in the anime what Roy says before the fight is great, that's not the line. Because dub Roy >>>>>>>>>> Japanese Roy.
>That's enough! You were stupid enough to confess, and even more stupid to boast. Everything you've said is just more fuel on your funeral pyre. So then, I think I'll begin... By burning out your tongue!
>What? No he fucking couldn't, Yamamoto knew the trick to Aizen's illusions, feel out his reiatsu.
He could feel it when Aizen's sword was literally through his body; by no means was he immune to Kyouka Suigetsu. This is poor reading comprehension on your part.
I never said he was immune, I said he knew how to beat it.
You think someone wise enough to wait for that moment would just burn every image of Aizen around him? I seriously doubt it.
That doesn't stop Aizen from using Kyouka Suigetsu on every other captain into attacking Yamamoto, does it? And even if they did somehow manage to main Aizen slightly more than they had, once he reached understanding of the Hougyoku would they still have a chance of beating him? The point is you argument still goes nowhere, the outcome of the battle doesn't change direction because of a slight difference in their attack strategy.
>That doesn't stop Aizen from using Kyouka Suigetsu on every other captain into attacking Yamamoto, does it?
Like I said, if Yamamoto told them to just stop any espada who interfered while he wrecked Aizen (because he really can't afford to focus on anyone else), he could've gotten the chance to seal a blow on Aizen.
Whether or not the Hougyoku would save Aizen is irrelevant, why wouldn't you trust your captains instead of making a suicide plan?
Not to mention, even if Yamamoto's original plan succeeded, the Hougyoku would've saved Aizen, and 6 of the Gotei Captains would be DEAD.
>they would've still lost because of the Hougyok
that wasn't my point
All he did was destroy his absorbed souls by setting them on fire. And that was only thanks to his little Jeebus nail.
Against a level zero Alucard, he's just another grunt. Besides, he was turned into dust in the end anyways.
Only the shota cat nazi was able to kill him for a few decades, but then everything was fine.
So you're saying that delaying the ex-Captains was a bad idea, just let the Espada, Tousen and Gin do as they please so that the Captains and Vice Captains both play goalie for the pillars and defend Yamamoto's back against an opponent who has been planning this shit for centuries and already has your entire force under perfect hypnosis? Yeah, way better plan, you should write Bleach.
Its funny that it later turns out it was done to help them.
>So you're saying that delaying the ex-Captains was a bad idea, just let the Espada
What Espada? By that point they were all defeated, once Harribel dropped, Yamamoto should've came out. And apparently Yamamoto had that suicide idea planned from the get go, since he was MIA for most of the shit. (he attacks Allon, but that's it)
So I repeat, what was so bad about making a plan that didn't involve sacrificing your captains?
If Gin and Tousen gave two fucks about him they could've stalled him from setting up anyway.
but at that point Tousen was long dead, and Gin was... I'm not really sure what the fuck Gin was doing at that moment.
During the Aizen fight he just kinda disappears until Aizen goes to Karakura town.
His plan wasn't very good, and I'm kinda mad you think killing half of your captains is a good plan.
Monster point chopper vs Kumadori
>So I repeat, what was so bad about making a plan that didn't involve sacrificing your captains?
The point once again is that they wanted a guaranteed kill on Aizen; Flames of Hell was the plan with the highest chance of success/ lowest possible error. It's not that hard to understand; even in a 1v1 fight there was a chance Yama would lose. They literally explain all of this in The Burnout Inferno, reread it if you're having this much trouble understanding it. Captains being alive meant nothing to them if it meant Aizen had any chance for survival.
Shishio Makoto vs Everyone.
He only died to his own body failing him.
>Flames of Hell was the plan with the highest chance of success/ lowest possible error
I can't refute that, my issue is the cost of it all. Look how fucking catastrophic that plan was whether it failed/succeeded
6 captains dead (including Yamamoto, which is a huge loss)
6 captains lost
Fake/Real Karakura town destroyed
Aizen gets his soul key
I think yamamoto should've attacked Aizen first, had the captains on stand by, and if he couldn't win unleash the flames of hell.
It makes more sense because it seemed like a huge sacrifice with little info on if it would work.
>Captains being alive meant nothing to them if it meant Aizen had any chance for survival.
Seriously though, can they not kill him or what? Is the Hougyoku still keeping him alive?
They can't build another soul destroyer?
Completely one-sided outside of UBW.
Then completely one-sided again.
My brother's 2 cents: GER Giorno vs Diavolo.
The easy answer in that Yamamoto wasn't expecting it to fail; or rather, they couldn't allow it to fail. Gotei doesn't do half measures, and Yama hates relying on others. Hypothetically it could have worked, as the Houyoku might have simply rejected Aizen if he proved too weak, but unfortunately he doesn't do half measures either, hence Wonderweiss. I'll leave my argument where it stands.
>Seriously though, can they not kill him or what? Is the Hougyoku still keeping him alive?
Basically yes, once he underwent the first Metamorphosis it's safe to say he went well beyond what the Soukyoku could have offered. Alternatively the amount of power needed to destroy it was far beyond what they were willing to use or simply out of reach (ex. Soul King).
I'll never understand Bleach, they can't kill Aizen so they gave him the comfiest chair in SS.
Or maybe their plan is he gets so comfy he doesn't want to leave
Gon lost that arm on purpose nigga, he said so himself later.
>Now I can feel like Kaito felt then
Pay attention dude.
>Now I can feel like Kaito felt then
So Kaito raped Pitou?
did he cum inside?
Gunbuster vs any number of Space Monsters
Before Shoedinger, at full power, I think Alucard could have wrecked Gilgamesh and Goku(minus the most extreme plot armor). Dunno bout accelerator.
well you can tell the lack of oldfags in this thread if this has not been mentioned
The 17 vs Piccolo fight was pretty even too, actually.
>that feel when Toriyama didn't let Piccolo win because 'muh stamina'
what was the point of him merging with Kami?
Toriyama really knew how to waste powerups.
>Krillin gets unlocked potential on Namek
>LOL STILL WEAKER THAN VEGETA AND ZARBON
Should've posted the better version.
Every fight in DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho and Hokuto no Ken.
Any fight involving OZ mobile suits in Gundam Wing. No matter how many of them there are, OZ suits always get their asses handed to them even by non-Gundams.
>didn't even break the 49ers' Bronco beat down record
They parked the bus when they should've been showing off.
he could barely move after fighting yabuki
Don't forget Piccolo vs Imperfect Cell and Piccolo vs 17.
Also Goku vs Majin Vegeta, Vegetto vs Super Buu and SSJ2 Gohan vs Super Perfect Cell
That's what happens when you marry a nigger.
One-sided would be Ryuuko's second fight with Monkey.
Can't count Goku vs Majin Vegeta as he was still holding back on him the entire time
Most harem anime. The best girl always wins cause there isn't even any good competition. Can't think of any recent ones where that best girl didn't win
vegetto vs super buu was pretty one sided consider they got turned into candy and still be buu in a fight
>The best girl always wins
What. No. Best girl never wins, that's the fucking law of the universe for some reason.
Leviathan being curbstomped by Kyrie in Umineko should also count, although it was a short-lived victory...
On the other hand, Ichigo vs the VC's is still one of the best moments in bleach.
No one posted this yet?
broken accelerator vs teleport girl.jpg
Around 6 minutes in.
Only in the anime. In the Manga it was basically the same as Ichigo vs Grimmjow in HM before they pulled out their mask and resurrection respectively. Rather than losing, what would have happened was his hollow taking over and slaughtering Grimmjow.
well duh, the guy kicked a tank so hard it exploded
Being immortal sure sucks
HEY MUSTANG! REMEMBER ME?! I KILLED YOUR FRIEND! AND I LOOKED JUST. LIKE.
Homu vs Brazillian Night.
WOOOHOHOHOHOHO! I'M MELTING. HOO HOO, WOHOHO! WAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!
Any real fight that occurs with Arararararagagi ends up with him getting the shit beat out of him.
Kenshito vs any filler shit.
The Eclipse in berserk.
Ichi vs anyone in Ichi the Killer.
There are planty in Garouden.
Akagi vs Urabe
Casualing hard here, but there was that old man fighting Ao's brother in Yozakura Quartet Hanu no Uta.
Levi vs the female titan in AoT is also a complete curbstomp. Him kicking Eren's face in is pretty brutal too.
can anyone tell me what episode that was?
Yuuza vs Ken'Oh was one hell of a beatdown too. Specially the final part.
