So /a/ i downloaded few LNs and want to read them as i have a month of free time.
Problem is i don't know where to start from and what to read after that.
So can anyone suggest me some reading order for these few series?
A bunch of those have missing volumes somewhere in the middle or aren't up-to-date.
Start with Hakomari.
It just depends on what you want. If you want some guy going around poking nipples and fighting with or against people from different mythologies then you can go with DxD.
Other than DAL missing vol 6 or 7 all of those are pretty much without skipping volumes.
So Hakomari is first to read, what should i read next?
You've downloaded every Kamachi work that isn't Toaru.
How do you even do that?
Owari, DxD, Log Horizon, Color Wars.
I read that already-this is my TO READ list
Heavy Object can be used as a breather, it's basically just stupid fun.
You mean DxD
And for DxD, you can skip volume 8, but I recommend reading 8 and 13 before you start volume 14.
Or you go chronologically, then check the Afterwords of v. 8, 13, and 15 before you start reading, so you know where to place the side stories.
Utsuro no Hako is probably the best of that bunch.
Also, download Gekkou. It's good only 1 volume so it's a good start too.
Only read Fate/Zero because it actually has acceptable prose.
Nah man. Heavy Object has two grunts going up against super robots, armed only with C4 and rifles. Combine that with a healthy dose of bromance, and it's basically like reading an action movie.
Ah, now i understand logic behind your choice-serious,fun,serious,fun
Really?Never thought about it that way.
Thanks for suggestion-downloading Gekkou as i write this
I've been meaning to read HO-does it have any romance? Not bromance, but good old regular romance
I'm only on 4, but not really as far as I know from future volumes. Both the protagonists have love interests, but neither of them are very important. All the romance kind of happens off-screen and is just implied.
The bromance of Heivia and Quenser is superior regardless.
Like I said, it's like literally reading an action movie, the love interests aren't actually important.
>no one mentions Zashiki Warashi of Intellectual Tits
Read it, it's good-one of better Kamachi.exe LNs.
And it's got artwork done by Isao
I recommend checking out Iris on Rainy Days if you don't mind a short tear jerker.
They also watch porn together and literally never leave eachother's side.
It's honestly kind of strange...
That's the best kind of romance, i hate when they shove it down my throat.
I noticed that people call him that, why?
Also, i've decided that Hakomari will be the first LN to read.
Can't decide between HO, DXD and >>101463348
You should read Color wars, its pretty fun.
>Iris on Rainy Days
>The story is centred around a cute android who initially had a happy life with her master who dearly loved her. But she was then struck by a series of misfortunes and ended up in a robot-equivalent of concentration camp. Through experiencing and witnessing the sufferings towards herself as well as the people/robots around her, she eventually gained a better appreciation of life.
Please tell me there is happy end, i can't
i can't read anything sad right now for personal reasons
Because he's ridiculously prolific.
He releases 3 Raildex volumes a year (plus usually another side story LN), 1 HO volume a year, is writing for three different manga, has a few other LNs that he releases sporadically, writes for game settings, and is apparently always 3 volumes ahead. The people who work with him call him a monster who is always giving them more illustrations and work to do.
Plus other shit i'm forgetting.
Holy fucking shit, he really is LNminator
So, what's Chrome Shelled Regios like?
Is it on /a/ recommended list?
I would skip Kara no Kyoukai, it doesn't read very well and it drags.
Also where did you get fate zero from? I ask because most versions around are the unedited, or barely edited baka tsuki translation, and there is a better one around.
It has a happy end. I am just unsure how satisfying you'd find it.
Throw out Rettousei and Haganai, OP.
delete all of that shit
download saya no uta, demonbane and tsukihime
Translation is horrible and it's a clusterfuck of a story.
Best girl won though, but I don't think we have translations that far.
Finished All You Need Is Kill recently, was that a regular novel or a LN?
I found it on bakatsuki forum, someone compiled PDF
As long she isn't dead at the end and has some kind of happy ending, i'm fine.Had toooo many sad things these days, so i would like some kind of happiness
Played all off those long time ago, along with F/S:N, Swan Song (cried on that like a baby) and Yume miru kusuri.Loved all of those
Why would you read LN's when there are so many real books to read? You could even read real books that are pretty much written like LN's - stuff written by Haruki Murakami or William Gibson, for example.
If the sad things you've experienced lately involves the lost of a precious someone, I really recommend the read, it may offer a new perspective that you have not experienced.
She gets a happily ever after ending.
The best version is edited by kureshii, I got them from readfag.
There should be a part in the PDF that says who edited it.
Not this shit again.
LN's != LNs.
You can ask the same for anime.
Why would you watch anime when there are so many real series and movies out there?
LN is a written form of manga/anime.
People in here like manga and anime, that's why.
This argument is like saying "why watch anime when there are so many real tv shows to watch?"
Either way lets not do this.
We disagree and will not change each others opinions.
These arguments turn threads to shit.
Would you believe me i have whole wall full of books?
Mine is by saidin, i just downloaded from >>101464452 as they are miles better (thanks man)
Yes it does, sorry for blogging. Thanks for recommendation, i appreciate it and i'll be sure to read through it
This is the best version that I was talking about
Not him but:, Anime is pretty much the only place to go for fans of animation. Plus many anime film compares to actual film well.
Oops, I thought nobody would take my post seriously because of the authors I name dropped. Sorry, I was just being a dick. Though I think manga is a better medium than LN's, personally - I am not going to argue with everybody about it, though. The only LNs I have ever read were Kizumonogatari and Nekomonogatari, which I liked.
You don't know how English pluralization works.
It's all right anon, i'm sorry for jumping the shark
Does anyone have pdf for Gakusen Toshi Asterisk?
You can always make your own with the PDF generator on BT.
Wow, when did they add that, i didn't saw it year ago
Just read Hakomari, you won't regret it.
Should I continue reading Hakomari if I didn't like the first book?
Got tired of all the twists.
No, all books are full of twists since it's a mystery novel
From all those, maybe only Utsuro no Hako to Zero no Maria is borderline interesting.
Definitely delete Accel World and Boku wa tomodachi to avoid severe brain damage.
>LN is a written form of manga/anime.
LN are to books what military music is to music.
Sometimes we need brain damage to relax
