New chapter of Saki manga is out.
>Haruto in the last panel
>Saki was subjected to this shitty show
This is where the show went wrong. We could have had more Saki and A-Drei but instead we got to watch Haruto act like a faggot.
>blaming it on Haruto instead of Shoko
So there'll be a last chapter coming?
>chapter 9 confirmed
Both are to blame.
Shoko was unwilling to question Haruto and he was so obsessed with normalcy because of her.
>he was so obsessed with normalcy because of her.
So basically its still all her fault.
daily remnder that Shoko a shit
>tfw when Haruto and Saki will never have immortal babies together
Shipperfag pls. Nobody liked that pairing.
Someone post the fanart list.
Literally fuck off to the one who had the brilliant ideas. Crazy mother, child porn, rape, experiments. Really? It is like she is a punching-ball for the staff's stress.
Wish we got scenes like that in the anime, last part sort of lacks of that "coolness" it had in the first 3/4.
Give me a moment, mine's outdated.
It was the best non-homo pair.
/a/ poll of pairings was:
Actually, I liked it. I mean, at least it wasn't just a hugbox , they were fun to watch, had a little chemistry together and, well, when Haruto wasn't in full-brain damaged mode, Saki managed to force him being a man.
Saki x A-Drei is way better though.
>Haruto getting NTRed in his death
that's horrible man
What? No. I'd say the whole Saki and A-Drei arc is wrong. Saki was pushed to the side, that whole arc served only to resolve the useless dorama between A-Drei and L-Elf.
Daily reminder that Shoko lived.
at least he didn't die a virgin
>that whole arc served only to resolve the useless dorama between A-Drei and L-Elf.
SSSSH. Pay attention to your words, fujoshi can kill you for less.
Remember anon, being best girl is suffering.
>Daily reminder that Shoko lived.
it wasn't supposed to be like this
>artist wants Saki to be happy
>forced to write mindbreak doujishi stuff because of staff's lack of creativity
Man, I wouldn't be him for even a second.
>Saki was pushed to the side
But that's what I was saying, we barely got to see anything Saki was doing. The Shoko/Haruto plot needed to have ended when it looked like their relationship being damaged beyond repair so the show could move on.
>when it looked like their relationship being damaged beyond repair
Unfortunately, the show was giving us the false hope that Haruto would change and stop being a faggot.
But he wasn't so much a faggot, I think we got way worse. I mean, his problem was just that the staff never cared a lot of him and made him go back and forward for plot convenience.
Valvrave main tag: 4557
Haruto/L-Elf (and L-Elf/Haruto): 711
A-drei/L-Elf (and L-Elf/A-drei): 602
H-Neun /X-eins (and X-eins/H-neun): 165
Thunder/Dog (jewbro): 50
They sure loved those few frames in the OP.
Is there a way to know how many fanarts without pairings every single character has?
She was L-Elf's waifu and her death guaranted his purity for the rest of the show.
Of course they love her.
It was a joke, come on...
However, does anyone need a mediafire mirror for the chapter?
I know anon. It's just that I'm frustrated at how the female characters were treated in this season. I waited all that time for her introduction, only for her to be killed off the next episode.
>only for her to be killed off the next episode.
At least you got a big Liz in the BD box, it could be way worse. But yeah, it was very disappointing and unfair to play with watchers' feelings this way ;_;
Can't read moon and haven't read the manga yet.
Does it continue the story?
We don't know, we have to wait for next chapter, but it will probably stop where the anime stopped just adding a bit of stuff like they were doing till now.
Goddamnit. I wanted to know what happened after, you know, the 200 years later scenes.
Who was the kid? Did Shoko get in unit 01? Who are the Golden Seven? Were the Valvraves rebuilt and new pilots chosen?
Then wait for the last drama CD, I think they will explain something there, even though it is not a continuation of the story, since it is supposed to be placed before the 200+ years later epilogue.
>I wanted to know what happened after, you know, the 200 years later scenes
We all do, anon, we all do.
>Did Shoko get in unit 01?
Yes, in episode 22.
>implying I can understand moon except the few words I've picked up.
Guess I'll wait. Student Council president (forgot the name) become a pilot too, right?
But she didn't become the pilot. I meant did she revoke her humanity to become a Magus.
Hold me, anon.
Also Shoko best girl
Satomi is not a pilot as far as we know.
I'm 5 episodes into the second season. Is it worth watching the last 7, or should I just drop it?
the important thing about Valvrave is that the entire franchise is a complete failure and Sunrise will forget it just like Buddy Complex
Give me a good reason to drop a show which you've almost finished.
There are none.
Drop it now, the good part has ended with Marie's death.
Are you from the future?
You're so close to being done, might as well finish it. Also, be prepared to rage from episode's 21 until the end.
Weird, because the Valvrave wiki (I know) said he's a pilot.
Thanks for sharing. Would you mind posting a zip of it and the BC chapter too?
What are their sources?
No idea, but the front page states:
Marie Nobi (Test Pilot)
Shoko Sashinami (Future)
And Satomi Renbofuckwhydidn'tIcopythename's profile:
He became the second person that his future is shown. Together with "the prince" and also Saki, he seems to be immortal because the future takes place more than 200 years after the setting of the original story.
Species: Magius (future)
I think they're assuming it because he was shown alive in the future.
Even if the future one is him, all we know is that he became immortal. He's not piloting anything as far as we know.
They called him someone who resembled Satomi in the radio so it might not be him at all.
I will post the BC one soon.
>second season 2
So... Season three?
What happened so far
This is the spinoff manga of the popular anime, Valvrave the Liberator featuring Rukino Saki as the main lead. In the 71st year of the True Calendar, the neutral Jior was developing weapons named "Valvrave" when the Dorssia Federation staged an ambush. In the midst of these attacks from Dorssia, Tokishima Haruto and Rukino Saki staved them off by boarding the Valvrave. Which, in turn, made them the "Kamitsuki", people who will not die. They now bear the fate of the world. However, Saki has been captured by Dorssia and has been used her as proof of undying creatures. Now that the whole world is against them, what would be their fate?
>Are you from the future?
or they could revive it by revamping the entire thing and make all the girls into pilots and dump the main writer
As you all can see, what we have been fighting against are an army of immortals.
This is the truth behind Module 77!
I demand an explanation,
Prime Minister Sashinami!
I also have no idea about all this.
How about you, Haruto?
All the residents of Module 77 are not humans.
They are monsters that look like people!
That would be dumb as fuck.
I get the feeling this is L-elf's fault.
I think there is a tweet from the official account where they asks the audience to submit possible names for future!Satomi, or stuff like that. However, it heavily implied it was not Satomi.
In accordance with international law,
I hereby designate the inhabitants of Module 77 as Class 7 Special Hazard Organisms!
Please hold on!
Listen to what we have to say first!
This is some misunderstanding!
I beg of you. Listen to---
They are no humans!
Don't waste your compassion on them!
Do not leave any of them alive!
Buddy complex chapter 1 https://www.mediafire.com/?b2ewee59de7ei13
It's just the episode 1 and will probably follow the anime so not really need for translations.
Also, I don't like the art much.
>she didn't become the pilot
I think you skipped the epilogue.
We know that Satomi is married and has probably descendants and Renbo did not act like an old Satomi.
Me neither, though it doesn't look that bad once anuimated.
I do like the storyline though. The lack of retarded twists and brain damaged characters is soothing after the vulvarape.
No, Shoko. You shouldn't!
Now's your chance,
I think you skipped reading comprehension in school.
I asked if she became a pilot after the show, pre-200 year time skip.
She didn't become a pilot in episode 22.
I meant the art of the manga. The anime looks fine to me.
And the whole world turned against her...
Season 2, Volume 2.
Her lung capacity appears to be normal.
Maybe we should we conduct a little more testing?
Even if we consider that she is indeed immortal, we don't know to what extent that it would still be fine for her.
Which is why we shouldn't be pushing the limits.
How about cutting her open again?
We already know that she can regenerate from her wounds.
Should we try letting her bleed profusely?
Let's look closer into that after a few days.
And according to the Tokishima Report, it isn't conclusive whether or not these organisms won't die no matter what we do to them.
All the better for us to be careful with this subject.
Based sazy. What would we do without you?
Resume today's experiment.
Colonel Cain has ordered us
that we shouldn't let her bite us no matter what.
Looks like we need to find some of antibody from here.
>How about cutting her open again?
Entry No. 0019
We are now about to perform dissection on the sample.
If you don't stop resisting, we'll be inject you an anaesthesia.
This is troubling,
We're in the middle of a test here and---
Test, you say?
But all I can see is you torturing someone!
International law prohibits such treatment towards a prisoner of war!
we're conducting this experiment on a---
Thanks for the zips. I gave the BC chapter a quick look and it adds things not present in the episode like the Saki manga does. I don't like the art much either though.
this isn't an act that the proud Dorssia Forces will conduct!
Cain did it the first time, but yeah, it sounds very odd.
Are you awake?
This makes it the second time
that I asked you that.
Also, the second time you saved me, right?
>valvrave the liberatir
Read that as "Vulvarage the vibrator" while scrolling quickly.
That is all.
Don't get the wrong idea.
I'm just following what my pride dictates me to do.
It doesn't necessarily mean that I have to help you.
what a tsundere.
Don't mind me.
Does it not hurt?
The pain these "experiments" can really kill someone.
Although I won't die from it.
>If you don't stop resisting, we'll be inject you an anaesthesia.
Jesus, fuck off, at least show some kind of kindness...
>saki calling a-drei tsundere
I won't be able to unread that, damn you.
This treatment to a prisoner shouldn't be tolerated.
Colonel Cain's turning a blind eye.
it's very likely that you'll be living in that laboratory.
But, I still have a chance to live.
I will go back to our country no matter what.
And what if that country of yours is no more?
VALVRAPE THE PENETRATOR
Calling the Saki manga will have A-dreixSaki ship-teasing ending for the fans like the A-drei manga had L-Elf and A-drei teasing ending.
>what a tsundere.
Best girl, now and forever!
All inhabitants of Module 77 have been labeled as monsters.
And, as you can see,
the whole world can only think of all of you as a threat.
The Valvraves. That prime minister.
All of them are running away from the module with nowhere to go.
If an eternity with a future nothing but ongoing pain awaits you,
you better choose a glorius death.
Didn't you tell me
not to die---
If I placed this gun right inside you and shoot you,
the bullet will blow your brains right through the wall.
It will kill you regardless of the regenative abilities you possess, won't it?
This is the least I can do.
We have still two scenes with Haruto and Saki, unless they plan to ignore them - which wouldn't surprise me TBH -.
One can hope.
What did you say?
No matter what hardships I face
or even if I don't have any assurance of what the future will hold for me,
I will never give up!
I think in the last panel she was saying she won't die no matter what he does.
Incoming threesome in the last CD drama.
Sadly, they won't ignore them.
I will not let
Yeah, you're probably right.
the world to kill me!
You said it yourself.
The most important thing is to keep on living.
That resolve of yours...
... well, actually it is not sadly, but fortunately for me.
What was that noise just now?
Isn't that the sample?
I know I requested for the resumption of the experiment but there isn't a room ready yet.
It doesn't matter.
Just bring that thing to the laboratory.
Well, yeah. You can pretty much write off every character's problems as "the staff never cared of them". Haruto and Shoko especially. For supposedly being the protagonist and main heroine they sure didn't feel like it.
Hang in there,
Going to where her friends are!
To be continued next issue
April Issue - To be sold on Feb 27 (Thu)!
I'm okay with that.
They are just dull.
>You can pretty much write off every character's problems as "the staff never cared of them".
Nope, you can certainly say it for Haruto (and Shoko), just look at his meeting with his father, it hurt for the QUALITY, they clearly gave shit of it. Meanwhile Saki, A-Drei, L-Elf etc. got some good treatment.
It's his punishment for having shit taste.
Your taste is shit, but I respect it.
Harutoxsaki is the one ship I can't tolerate.
>Haruto getting rewarded with Saki's love for no good reason
>Never really cared about her that much because muh Shoko
>Wasn't a very worthy husbando to begin with
>now she's bound to mourn him for eternity because 2D girls are never allowed to move because it would make purityfags buttmad.
>That whole romanceshit was completelly barren plotwise, and didn't even serve for character development
Really it does rub me the wrong way.
Please do it, Okouchi.
>still using jacking ability
>using Doc's data and research
Thanks a lot for your work.
Selfish question: will you work/summarize the drama CD with BD06 when it comes out?
Thanks as always.
Thank you for the hard work based Sazy.
Haruto was pretty dull, but I thought the direction they went with Shoko could have been interesting. Too bad they forgot to develop it and the actual execution was so horrid it ruined her entire character and their fanbase.
>HarutoxSaki is the one ship I can't tolerate.
It looked like it could have gone somewhere in season 1, but then they had Saki get captured and ignored for the rest of the show.
I think you are a bit biased.
He cared of her from the beginning, not only he was willing to help her, but he also called her a friend (and saved her different times).
>>Wasn't a very worthy husbando to begin with
When he was inside the robot and fought to save/help her and the students, he was worthy. It surely isn't a fabulous husbando like Nobunaga, but he is not even a piece of shit.
He is just a bit retarded, that is.
I think Saki's motherly instinct was at work when she fell for him.
They stopped caring for PM Shoko after episode 15.
That was like an official joke. Granted, it's "Blitz-tsundere-gen!" but still.
Depending on my time and schedule.
>>That whole romanceshit was completelly barren plotwise, and didn't even serve for character development
You could say the same for almost every character interaction though.
The drama between L-Elf and A-Drei, the romance between Lieselotte and L-Elf, X-Eins and Cain marriage, Nanami and Kibukawa ship-teasing .
Ah, I see. I didn't get around to watch the Summit yet.
>X-eins and Cain marriage
Not in Valvrave.
Good point. Saki was right from the beginning.
Saki was always right.
Cain truly broke his heart. ;_;
X-Eins was a bitch and was cheating on him, he deserved more suffering.
And Cain wasn't? MUH Masterpiece! MUH Mirko! MUH Space Gay Fairy!
Cain is old and can do it, his rank allows him it.
It was never going to go anywhere. She named her rave Carmilla, the vampire who can never be with those she loves.
Didn't Carmilla die at the end of her tale?
Definitely feels like they based their priorities off of the poll at the end of season 1.
How? Shoko was 3rd.
They can't count to 3.
That's why sunrise shows only have 2 seasons.
>Definitely feels like they based their priorities off of the poll at the end of season 1.
if that were the case, Sunrise would have dumped Haruto and made L-elf, A-drei, and the girls far more important main characters
seriously, they clearly failed on who to give importance to
If that were true they would only care about L-elf and Saki since they were 1st and 2nd. That poll was a ruse.
They also wouldn't have had Saki get captured and pretty much do nothing for the second half of the season.
She also won first place in the 'shitty boss' poll. It really feels like they changed her character to match up with that.
>Implying Shoko was not a questionable boss
>and pretty much do nothing for the second half of the season.
Like everyone else who wasn't H-Neun or L-Elf?
Your implication detector is off.
In S1 she at least had an idea of what she was doing, could keep the students controlled, and even when she failed didn't immediately throw in the towel and stop trying. In S2 she was the one being controlled, did nothing to help or correct it, and just gave up after she realized she made a mistake. It's like she's a completely different character.
Makes no sense.
>had an idea of what she was doing
Neither her whole "independent county" notion nor the decision to become the PM of her module were thought-out.
>could keep the students controlled
By giving them what they wanted.
Of course, it did not work out every time.
>when she failed didn't immediately throw in the towel and stop trying
Neither did S2 Shoko till the last two episodes.
Implying she tried to do anything til them.
Doesn't trying to reach a cease-fire, helping the wounded and getting into the Valvrave not count?
She just went along with those students, not anything herself.
S1 Shoko was the same.
>tfw even X-eins' internal struggle was more developed than Shoko's
Poor X-eins, his choice was pretty tough too. He would have to choose between the man who saved him (and to some extent trained him to be who he was) or his best friend.
She at least had initiative is s1.
Oh, come on, X-Eins' drama was a bit stupid, H-Neun noticed he changed and there something really wrong 10 years ago and he couldn't even suspect a bit of him. His whole drama was really pointless, especially dragging it for the entire season.
Yes, she was.
Shoko is not strong enough to be leader who makes unpopular decisions and defends them, unless they are related to the person she trusts the most.
At least we got to see him contemplating his decision on who to believe, rather than Shoko's MUH CAVE PROMISE which made her quickly go against Haruto. X-eins wasn't also the only one who didn't notice the changes; Amadeus, who was with him for years on end, didn't even notice either.
I can forgive Amadeus, Cain was working in Karlstein and was then stationed in space for most of those 10 years. They probably rarely interacted. Even with X-Eins after being saved by Cain he didn't see him again until 2 years later, he never really knew the guy well.
Yeah, not giving Haruto a chance to explain what had happened was the dumbest thing anyone did in the entire series including JINGU BERUS.
I wasn't arguing about Shoko, but about it being a "tough choice". I mean, it surely was for him - but well, actually, H-Neun was covering X-Eins' ass at the Karlstein and at war, not Cain, so the choice was quite simple... but whatever -, but it was also drama which amounted to nothing for both X-Eins and Cain.
Amadeus was surely stupid, but I think Cain was his right hand, but not a, let's say, close person for him.
She gave a man you just came back to life and was probably disoriented and clearly distressed about not being able to remember it two seconds to give her a straight answer, that was plenty time.
Except she did give him a chance, multiple in fact. Haruto just refused and either gave her the silent treatment or misleading apologies.
Exactly, so X-eins can't exactly be blamed for not being able to notice the difference specially when he was only 9 when he saw him again (even if H-neun did notice something off), and after that was shipped off to some cave.
That was the best part of that episode.
I mentioned Shoko from the beginning, which is why I brought her up again.
>H-Neun was covering X-Eins' ass at the Karlstein and at war, not Cain
That's like saying L-elf carried A-drei through Karlstein because we saw them helping out the "weaker" partner one time. We don't know everything that happened during those days.
I do agree that their drama amounted to nothing since the three of them ended up dying, but at least we saw that he ended up choosing his friend over the man who saved them.
>and after that was shipped off to some cave.
But even A-Drei said something was really wrong with Dorssia, and L-Elf, when he talked with Shoko, used words that looked right for the old Dorssia, not the new one.
X-Eins was the only one who didn't notice anything (well, maybe Q-Vier too, but it was more tanoshii to play at the Karlstein). It sounds a bit stupid for someone who is supposed to be smart.
> We don't know everything that happened during those days.
We saw them fighting in a chapter of the manga. I wasn't implying X-Eins was weak and H-Neun strong, just that they were together on the battlefield, and Cain surely wasn't there to save them.
>It sounds a bit stupid for someone who is supposed to be smart
X-ein's feelings toward Cain have been described as "admiration close to worship" in articles. He saw Cain as his savior and had been too blinded by that admiration to hold any doubts toward him until he discovered proof that revealed Cain had wrongfully killed H-neun.
>X-Eins was the only one who didn't notice anything
He wanted to be an ideal soldier like his idol, not change the system.
>It sounds a bit stupid for someone who is supposed to be smart.
I can't say much to this since we never got to see or hear his thoughts on Dorssia's political system or anything of the sort, so it's really hard to know if he supported it or was against it.
>Cain surely wasn't there to save them.
Yeah, but it was the act of saving them when they were seven years old that left an impression on him. If Cain hadn't shown up they would have died, which means he wouldn't have gotten the chance to enter the battlefield.
But Cain saved them and 2 years later said clearly they were going to a death camp. He could worship Cain for saving them and want to be an ideal soldier, but not noticing that huge contradiction is something I would expect from a really really really really dense person.
Love made him blind.
He probably thought it was going to make them tougher or something like that. He's a person who cries during animal movies, don't expect him to be more than just book smart.
I don't understand why people act like the cave promise was the only thing that set her off. Her doubting him was spread out through the entire episode from the second he failed to explain the Phantom. She was desperately clinging to her trust in him even after the fact, but then he shattered that trust on top of his incompetence with words making it look as though he was confirming all of Dorssia's claims.
I mean yes the drama was pretty bad and poorly handled, but it did make more sense than people give it credit for.
More people are mad at the fact that it took just some random cave promise to set her off. Like you said, she trusted him the entire time, yet because he didn't remember one thing she turned her back on him.
The cave promise was the last straw. People have killed for lesser last straws.
It just feels weak drama for the sake of drama, just like the rape.
>said clearly they were going to a death camp
But he didn't "clearly" say that. They had already been at Karlstein for two years. Then Cain came back, becoming their instructor and saying that their training regiment would be completely altered in order for them to become ideal soldiers. He did in fact say that the weak wouldn't be shown mercy but you forget that X-eins blindly worshiped Cain and was told this new strictness was for the sake of becoming a better soldier, which was his goal.
The rape was handled well, I don't know why people keep complaining about it. Were anyone really expecting a whole season about it, abortion or stuff like that?
It felt like it was just swept under the rug.
Remember when people were saying that Saki would have Haruto's child and that that child would become a pilot? They were expecting that, so it was just shipperfags thinking that their relationship was going to go well because of that.
> He did in fact say that the weak wouldn't be shown mercy
You are proving my point. OldCain saved two weak children who tried to fight and almost got killed. Something was clearly off if NewCain's motto is "death to the weaklings".
I understand X-Eins worshiped Cain for his strength, but then again, sounds stupid to not noticing something like that because blind, being so easily deceived is not a good thing for a soldier, it is a sign of poor attention to details.
Just like L-Elf killing Marie or Shoko selling out Haruto. Drama in Valvrave is done purely for shock value and dropped once it's served its purpose.
Just like in real life. Shocking, I know.
>You are proving my point.
You are ignoring the rest of my post, as well as this >>101459747
We got episode 11 that was half about Haruto and Saki dealing with it together. Episode 13 again had a big part about them taking decision thinking about the what happened and could happen in the future (two times for Haruto).
Episode 22 again had Haruto thinking again about it.
I don't know, what could they do? Spending more episodes on the stress caused by the event? I don't think it was something that would have fit. Honestly, it was treated like a pretty big and important event, compare it for example with Shoko's father death, F-6' death, L-Elf killing Marie or something else, the rape wasn't really swept under the rug.
I agree the whole seizure stuff was a bit ridiculous and written stupidly, but, well, the rape wasn't really more forced than tons of other situations and it rightly got more attention. I would be more disappointed by the way they treated L-Elf killing Marie or Shoko's father death, that was sweeping something under the rug for plot convenience.
Its treated as "that event with Saki" rather than rape. It it was just a physical attack, that would still have the same effect on the story.
Another physical attack wouldn't have "worked" because Haruto had already almost 10 of them, another physical attack would have been "that event with Saki" whit low relevance on him.
And it is not just "that event with Saki", it is an event when he goes out of control and someone gets really hurt because he knows nothing about himself, and in fact he remembers Saki's face every time, but not Inuzuka's or L-Elf's face when he attacked them.
>the way they treated L-Elf killing Marie
They were busy dealing with Marie not staying dead when killed, then the cave in and the escape, and then with the revelation that Hito killed Marie (and she stayed dead) after eating all her memories and that it would do the same with Haruto. After all the shit that happened, why would they go back and dwell on L-elf shooting Marie when it wasn't even what killed her?
By physical attack I mean cutting and slashing her, or brutally injuring her. She would be fine and regenerate but Haruto would still be bad about it,
It's weird that Haruto later claimed that he admires the guy who killed his classmate.
>when it wasn't even what killed her?
L-Elf killed her, but she did not die for good.
Because it pissed Haruto off and L-Elf could do the same thing to someone closer to Haruto, like Shoko, Saki, Inuzuka etc.
Saki would have been "fine" and hide it, just like what happened in this chapter of her manga. A-Drei had to question is it hurts being tortured, and A-Drei is not as dense as Haruto, torture hurts way more than a single physical attack.
The attack wouldn't have left a scar on her and Haruto, evident or not, the rape left one non evident scar on both.
>like Shoko, Saki, Inuzuka etc.
>Implying L-elf would waste his bullets on confirmed bakemono
Gun-kun is useless, knife-kun would do the trick.
Knife-kun can't do anything either. Look at what happened with Amadeus. L-elf should get tips on how to ARUS them.
>L-Elf killed her, but she did not die for good.
In this case I meant "killed" as in "staying dead". I judged that it didn't need to be explicitly specified a third time in the same post.
Dont bully Saki!
Chop their heads off, put them in a bag and throw them away.
With knife-kun you can.
Glad somebody remembered that line, even if the anime staff forgot it.
It was really weird for Haruto to think of L-Elf as a friend when he had no problem putting a bullet in Marie's dome. Haruto just seemed to forget that scene for the sake of the plot.
He never got to test to see if that worked. OVA when?
He knows L-elf is right deep down and does what needs to be done regardless of the consequences. That's why he admires him in the first place.
Their friendship was pretty unconvincing either way.
Would you be her boyfriend, /a/?
>He knows L-elf is right deep down
Yeah, sure, not killing Q-Vier ASAP but killing a close friend of your butt-buddy who is helping you (/you are using for you plans) are certainly right things.
She wouldn't remember me, so no, I wouldn't.
Marie was hindering their mission, he did what Haruto couldn't (get rid of her).
Showing compassion to his former buddies would only serve to rise Haruto's boner for him as well.
Q-Vier was endangering his mission, his loved girl and the lives of his new comrades. He was way more dangerous than Marie.
I don't see how that affects Haruto's feelings for him. He didn't even know who Q-vier was.
Fuck you. Q-Vier did nothing wrong.
I can't date a potato.
He didn't know Q-Vier, but IF (a big if) he knew what do you think he would think of L-Elf?
And Haruto actually saw this side of him when he said there was no need to kill H-Neun.
I have no problems with L-Elf sparing the lives of his former comrades, but killing Marie was unneeded and could (ans should) have broken their so called friendship.
Too pure for love.
Killing Queer would have been more efficient but L-elf has been shown to spare the lives of Hitler Youth, and judging by his simulations he didn't think killing him was necessary. L-elf was raised to believe killing is how you solve problems and so killing Marie was the most efficient solution in his mind. L-elf felt attachment toward Queer, the same couldn't be said about Marie.
L-elf was already shown to have been willing to do similar to Shoko if he deemed it necessary, and that would cause even more damage to his contract with Haruto.
Haruto did not know that L-Elf almost shot Shoko.
>if he knew what do you think he would think of L-Elf?
He would like him even more for being a dumb softie.
I repeat, L-elf did what Haruto couldn't: try to get rid of her instead of indulging her curiosity and further endangering everyone. He didn't care about L-elf killing him, using him as a meatshield or baiting Thunder and Jewbro to become pilots a couple of days after it happened. Haruto calms down when he thinks the situation through and realizes that, even if they're not the best methods and go against his morals, L-elf always does what's best to ensure life loss. He knows he's willing to kill one if it that means more will survive.
>L-elf always does what's best to ensure life loss
Freudian slip aside, I meant "to avoid life loss".
Marie did not endanger anyone, Haruto did.
>He didn't care about L-elf killing him
Of course, he did.
That much was obvious. My point is that L-elf is willing to take actions that would damage his contract with Haruto if he believes it to be necessary.
There were plenty of ways L-Elf could have handled Marie without putting a bullet in her head. Not sure why you think he's some kind of dark hero when the show made it clear he never cared for any of the students and only put in (minimal) effort to keep them alive because it kept Haruto and the Valvraves under his thumb.
He shot her purely for plot purposes, what he should have done was send Haruto off and then take care of her.
He cared at first but he stopped caring later. It stopped being important when other things were at stake.
I'm not saying he's a dark hero and I never said he cared about them either. I said that
>he's willing to kill one if it that means more will survive
Because that means more military power and not because he cares about them.
Haruto would ignore him like he always does until someone got killed.
>He cared at first
You mean half of the first season.
He only allied with L-Elf because there wasn't a better option.
Killing someone from his own side should have alienated him from L-Elf.
Instead he chose to decrease L-Elf's suffering by not feeding from him anymore.
But he cared of Saki.
I think L-Elf's characterization different times was used for plot purpose, because it makes no sense to try to kill Marie, leave Akira falling during the landing and then leave a Valvrave on Earth for Saki because she has skills. Those are inconsistent actions, and actually L-Elf saying Haruto is a "sentimental fool" is really bullshit, given how later he acts with Q-Vier (and even if L-Elf said he couldn't avoid her death, we all know leaving Q-Vier alive was a mistake).
>>he's willing to kill one if it that means more will survive
Only if that "one" is not directly related to him.
just a question why did Haruto die/lose memory drom rune consumption didn't the feeding sessions supply him with runes to operate the valvrave ?
Maybe Haruto talked him into leaving Saki's Valvrave behind. It did not endanger their mission and the team not as much as trying to save Akira.
Because the RAVE engine consumed far more runes than he got via one injection.
It's implied he stopped feeding after the investigation of the first Phantom they found. And in the final fight Cain also fucked up Hito's engine, which made him leak runes continuously.
Oh, well, I really don't know, both were really hard situations. I just find a huge difference in the way he dealt with Saki's and Akira's situations and one of the two is a bit out of character (or at least forced for plot purposes).
True that Saki could betray them if she fell abandoned by her team, though.
The ones he's not attached to but still contribute to his cause earn his concern and respect. The ones he's not attached to and are obstacles to his cause earn bullets and stab wounds.
But Akira saved his ass from a laser ;_;
Saving Akira meant all of them dying at first and that's why he refused. He had no problems with it when he realized there was a chance of survival.
There was not a huge difference.
In both cases, he was willing to leave a Valvrave and its pilot behind.
One he was trying to help, the other he was planning to let die. The difference is night and day.
He would die if he tried to help one, the other didn't. Why is this hard to understand?
Cause he's dead now, right?
He would be if they tried to save Akira without Satomi's last minute plan that L-elf didn't have.
Speaking of saving Akira, why the hell didn't she whack that Ideal with her stick instead of destroying it? That way she could have captured another heat shield for them to use.
L-Elf didn't even start th8inking about a plan, though. He was not even willing to try to help Akira in that situation.
I think it was because the Ideal would have shot to her.
They forgot her more interesting combat hacking in favour of the beam claws.
>having the Ideal self destruct instead of bringing it back to the module for L-Elf to use
Akira you are a terrible hacker.
That was a good decision on her part. The one time they did bring an enemy unit back with them it nearly got them all killed.
>L-Elf didn't even start th8inking about a plan, though. He was not even willing to try to help Akira in that situation.
How do you know? We have no idea what he was thinking. And if he was so against it as you insist he wouldn't even bother risking his life for a plan that might work. Don't try to play the "he only saved them because Haruto was there" card either because when L-elf refused Haruto was already with her. Only after Akira hacks the control stations and Satomi ensures he can understand them L-elf approves of the idea.
If that were the case, then that would mean Haruto also made him write her the letter or at the very least knew the contents of the letter, which is doubtful since he went against the orders of said letter. You know, capturing the Phantom rather than destroying it.
I don't understand your post, that is actually what I am saying. He didn't want to help them, period. He was ready to lose two pilots and two Valvraves (actually all the Valvraves, since he knew how much Hito was important).
In Saki's situation he came up with a plan, but we haven't seen people asking him for help on that and he even says Saki is important for the team, when he can easily replace her with another student. And his plan was plenty of risks since he knew she was with A-Drei and leaving a Valvrave on Earth means to risk to let your enemy know everything about your weapons.
That is completely different from the way he acted before with Akira.
>L-elf gets an Ideal
>each space battle is A-drei chasing him around the battlefield, screeching at the top of his lungs
>Q-vier gets screeched at every time he tries to fight L-elf himself
>L-elf ignores everything and gets shit done
Haruto and the others changed their minds after they learned about the number of produced Phantoms.
>when he can easily replace her with another student
He does not want to replace his Valvrave pilots which makes sense because new pilots lack experience.
>he knew she was with A-Drei
He did not know whether she was still with A-Drei.
>He does not want to replace his Valvrave pilots which makes sense because new pilots lack experience.
... but few days before he was ready to lose all six machine? Naaaaah, it doesn't really make sense, even because he proposed turns for piloting Hito.
>He did not know whether she was still with A-Drei.
IIRC K-wolf was able to find the ship thanks to A-Drei and Cain, not by himself, because he couldn't know where L-Elf left it (maybe I remember wrong this point though).
Only because L-Elf was too depressed to drive the Phantom.
>... but few days before he was ready to lose all six machine?
>proposed turns for piloting Hito
Haruto rejected it and remained Hito's sole pilot despite causing trouble in previous episodes because L-Elf did not really want to replace him with someone else.
Akira's situation, as you said, he was not willing to help until Satomi shows he can secure a path. Which means before that he was ready to lose Akira and Haruto + the other Valvraves because without Hito they can't move.
> because L-Elf did not really want to replace him with someone else.
Haruto was with him, he was not with the most dangerous enemy, though.
For the last time, saving Saki didn't pose a threat to his life. The plan was risky because Saki could get caught and they'd lose a robot. Period. He wouldn't die if the plan failed, it was her own problem. Saki saved his life, was an asset and trying to save her would not endanger him. He had faith she would not screw it up or maybe had a backup plan in case she was caught. Maybe a royalist would pay a visit and help her out or something. But the thing is, trying to save her would not get him killed.
Saving Akira and Haruto would get him killed. Then Akira and Satomi came up with a plan that could save them without getting him killed.
The risk of giving Cain a Valvrave with a pilot wouldn't totally have put his life at risk.
And as I said, letting Akira and haruto go would have put him in life danger, because without Valvraves he can't fight Cain or even Dorssia.
The risks were really high in both situations, but he dealt with them in totally different ways just for plot convenience.
L-elf had a plan to change Dorssia without the Valvraves. They don't mean more to him than his own life.
L-elf's mind during Akira and Haruto rescue was:
- Save two robots
- Lose life
- Lieselotte not saved
- Lose robots
- Keep life
- Take more time but free Lieselotte
But then Akira and Satomi changed the first one to:
- Save two robots
- Might keep life
- Might keep robots
- Might free Lieselotte in less time
>L-elf had a plan to change Dorssia without the Valvraves.
Before defecting and having Cain as enemy. Big plan now that he can't come back to Dorssia.
>The risk of giving Cain a Valvrave with a pilot wouldn't totally have put his life at risk.
Yes, you understand it perfectly. Only modified students can pilot them and Saki, as the most loyal one, would never pilot it for them. The worse they could do is reverse engineer it, something they already did when they captured VVV 2.
His original plan didn't have the Valvraves and...
...by the way he hated Cain it didn't include playing along with him either. He'd figure something out like he always does.
Never said she would have pilot it for them, but the scientist could reverse engineer her (which is actually what they tried to do) and have an army of people like Haruto and the students. That is a high risk for his life, not immediate, not direct as crashing on land, but it still is, and someone like him who plans and acts for ten years thinking about a future revolution is reckless and out of character, especially when he had literally no connection with that pilot.
>...by the way he hated Cain it didn't include playing along with him either.
Doesn't mean he can betray him and come back like nothing has happened.
If he was planning to get rid of Cain, he surely wasn't planning to do before having the means and some security for Lieselotte, which would happen only in the last stages of his plans. And without the Valvraves he is back to square one, probably behind schedule too.
That's not how you test lung capacity!
I wonder if we'll ever seen an official english release of Saki's manga.
I'd totally buy it.
It makes no sense reading it without watching the anime first, though.
>L-elf, A-drei, and the girls
Wouldn't that be Code Geass II: The Raving?
Shut up, little fool.
This is your home for the rest of your life.
Because then ask why was Haruto abandoning everyone to get a chat with Marie when they clearly needed his help?
There was no point to bring up Marie when he fucked up.
Shoko x L-Elf forever
Shoko x L-Elf is canon
It amazes me how people ever thought that could work out. There was nothing to that pairing.
Denial is not healthy.
In your fanfiction, sure.
>There was nothing to that pairing.
There was the Shoko-jelly and a bullet in the head, the last is forever, like a diamond.
Made more sense than Haruto x Saki at least. Which isn't saying much.
Its not Shoko's kid, if it was they would have said something.
Nah, Saki x Haruto was way better, at least none of the two tried to kill the other.
Anon, just ignore him. He's always trying to start that shit.
What is descendant
Of course it's not her kid. Possibly a descendent though. The writers copped out and left it ambiguous so it can be anything you wish and the cause of arguments forever.
At least with Haruto and Saki you have Saki liking Haruto. There is nothing like that between Shoko and L-Elf. Shoko was never shown feeling for L-Elf as anything more than a new friend. L-Elf never saw Shoko as anything more than at first a reason to keep Haruto happy and second a tool to keep his country for Lisorette safe.
>if it was they would have said something
The main pairing is of the S&M nature, though.
They confirmed that is was Satomi's descendant.
Source? And by source I mean a quote backed with a scan, snapshot or time frame.
That's not about the prince.
We are talking about Satomi's descendant, not the prince.
Not him, but he was proving wrong the
We were talking about the prince being Shoko's descendant.
It still proves nothing.
upcoming VVV radio wants the listeners to submit a name for the renboukouji's descendant that looks like a Satomi. Also give the reason for naming him like that.
I think it was originally meant to be a L-Elf and Shoko's descendant because the producer initially wanted an L-Elf, Shoko, Haruto love triangle.
But they probably torched that idea along with the love triangle because of time constraints
With Okouchi being evasive about this, I'm thinking that it really is Shoko's descendant, but he doesn't want to say it because it will make a lot of people upset.
How much control does the producer have with the shows writing and direction?
he's waiting for vol 6 sales to confirm it
>producer initially wanted an L-Elf, Shoko, Haruto love triangle.
You can spread that rumor all you want and it's not going to come true.
>the producer initially wanted an L-Elf, Shoko, Haruto love triangle
That producer said many different things in different times. He liked Saki and thought L-elf was OK. He never cared about Haruto or Shoko. Now suddenly he likes Shoko a lot and wanted a triangle. He doesn't know anything about details of the series either. He was just a spectator like any other producer is. He says a lot of shit but can't do anything and has nothing to do with the final product. Did you notice he's the only producer that speaks? No one else does. He's the guy who has nothing to do but gossip to magazines, that's his role.
Just like the same producer said they needed 2 cour to develop such a large cast and expand the story. Yeah...
He sits at a table and listens to the writers ideas and the rest of the staff. He only nods and gives his opinion.
>With Okouchi being evasive about this
Actually, now that I think about it, did they asked him whose that kid is or WHERE he is?
I get the feeling that Okouchi only wrote Haruto and L-Elf, and all the other secondary characters might be the producer's / combined staff ideas
>He liked Saki and thought L-elf was OK
IIRC back in spring (like near the beginning of the series/before airing) Ikeya mentioned he liked them the most or how they were the most interesting.
In order of influence I'd say Sponsor >>> Director > Scriptwriter > everyone else
If the Producer is representing Aniplex, then I'd say he has some influence
mission accomplished.. for the better or worse
It was Okouchi and maybe the other writer together with Hoshino and the creative staff. Anyone but the producer. Many times during the audio commentary Ikeya kept saying how this and that were Okouchi's ideas. Like Carmilla, that name for the mecha was Okouchi's idea. The seiyuu had to explain who Carmilla was to Ikeya because he didn't know. Ikeya evaded some questions the seiyuu asked and sometimes guessed the answers because he didn't know the answers himself.
Ikeya works for the Sunrise studio which animated Valvrave CG.
The producer is one of three producers from Sunrsie's side. There are other two like him.
Seriously? So they teased 'Satomi' being alive in the future only for it to be his descendent who coincidentally looks, sounds, and acts just like him? This pretty much confirms Akira, Saki, and Shoko are the only ones still alive in the future too and kills the pilot rotation theory.
It's been a while since that time, so those might not have been his words, but the gist of it was that he preferred them. Okouchi liked L-elf and Haruto (I think it was mentioned in one of the BD interviews); I don't recall who Matsuo liked, but I think it might have been again either L-elf and/or Saki.
>implying it's not her daughter
He mentioned in a tweet the identity of the prince is left up to your imagination.
>Okouchi liked L-elf and Haruto (I think it was mentioned in one of the BD interviews)
He said he found fun to write them IIRC, nothing more.
Someone said his favorite characters were Satomi and l-Elf and that it is said in the pamphlet from the Summit. Saw no scans of that, though.
>He said he found fun to write them IIRC, nothing more.
Oh, okay. Thanks for the clarification.
>pamphlet from the Summit.
Pamphlet scans never ;_;
Based Reinforce will deliver. Believe it.
Unless Saki jacked Haruto's corpse and fucked her, Shoko will remain a virgin forever.
>He mentioned in a tweet the identity of the prince is left up to your imagination.
Jesus, everything about the last 1/4 of the show was an absolute clusterfuck. Did they really think they were getting another season, or was this just bona fide incompetence?
Seriously? Of all the things you could complain about? Do you really need it spelled out to you who the prince is?
L-Elf's descendant with some random chick we never met.
I don't mean that specifically, but why tease all of the 200 years in the future crap if you aren't going to do anything with it?
>reproducing with anyone who's not Lieselotte or Haruto
Doubtful. It's obviously L-elf's cousin's descendant.
So they don't have to write a proper epilogue if they can say 200 years later it all worked out.
>fucking a no-pure blood Magius
Yeah, no, the kid is not related to him.
Sequel hook. At least, it's not forgotten like the first flash forward.
>FutureSaki fights against the Cow Empire
>Final episode epilogue narration hints that humans are still on a witch hunt for BAKEMONO
>Suddenly, a different set of aliens from the Magius and Pino/Plue
The 200 year later shit served its purpose. It didn't need to be a full arc.
Cool argument bro.
>Implying they would ever make a sequel without L-elf
We met Shoko though.
They enjoy losing money so they would try if they could.
>implying Shoko would love anything other than Haruto.
The staff has brain problems, but they wouldn't go full retard. Probably.
We also met Haruto and Lieselotte.
But Lieselotte wanted him to move on so he will. And L-elf is too loyal to fuck his tomodachi's woman (Shoko or Saki). Random chick that has blue eyes. Or Iori, she understands coexisting after a romp with L-elf.
No one said anything about love. It was one lonely night and they both had a little too much youkan.
>they wouldn't go full retard
>Valvrave 2nd Season
Are you sure?
Anyone still bitter? I know I am still.
Damn the godly soundtrack.
Moving on as in not letting himself die from lack of oxygen while hallucinating on the moon.
Was never bitter.
At least S2 had L-elf. Any other seasons that would take place 200+ years wouldn't have him to fall back on.
>At least S2 had L-elf
Why is that a good thing?
They'd just pull some bullshit to keep him alive. That's why he wasn't mentioned at all in the epilogue.
>At least S2 had L-elf
Yes, S2 L-Elf, nothing as good as S1 L-Elf.
So, like cryogenic bullshit of Gundam Wing Frozen Teardrop?
Exactly. Or like Haruto passed the holy spirit to him.
She said it in episode 19 actually, before the moon stuff. Told him he's still young, like move on and live your life. Widowers can re-marry, besides he's never even had a relationship. It's like Haruto was the first "friendship" he had, the other Dorssian boys were just comrades. Probably if there's an S2 it will be about moving on and protecting home whatever.
Please no bully.
Why did Haruto exist anyway?
I'm healed of all bitterness and learned to accept (and even enjoy) the ending. I'm a bit used to having my hopes, dreams, otps and favorite characters killed or screwed over when watching cartoons. Thanks for the relaxing entertainment after a hard day at work, Japan.
The soundtrack is indeed godly.
>Haruto was the first "friendship" he had
Because he's a qt3.14.
Moving on and living his life doesn't imply he will be reproducing. I imagine him being the type that would look after a bunch of war orphans instead of running his own family.
To make the other characters look good. Then they realized they had to at least make him look good for the finale, so they ruined Shoko to take the hate off him.
>>L-elf, A-drei, and the girls
>Wouldn't that be Code Geass II: The Raving?
would be far more interesting to watch than Haruto
Ōkouchi likes nice getting caught in way over their heads to grow up.
There's already scans of at least some of the pamphlet in the archive.
>Ōkouchi likes nice getting caught in way over their heads to grow up.
well, that decision doomed this franchise
they should get someone else to deal with Valvrave
Haruto never grew up though. Every time it looked like he did he'd just revert back to his old insufferable self.
He calls everyone comrade and just at the end calls Haruto a friend.
Maybe we'll see K-12 and the loli at L-elf's orphanage.
In your opinion. I like how Okouchi works. Valvrave was most likely conditioned by Aniplex meddling and bosses forcing him to add things last minute, like rape for shock value, entire Saki's character not present in the original script, etc. When you read some of his interviews it's clear he had different things in mind when he started it.
Actually he calls everyone a pawn.
>Haruto was the first "friendship" he had
Possibly a stretch.
Haruto probably would have matured mid-way and helped L-Elf develop.
That's where it looked like it was heading. But then all the progress their relationship had in episode 12 was dropped between seasons, Haruto regressed to a point he never recovered from, and they never had another moment where they were truly working together again. And yet we're still supposed to accept this homodachi crap they forced on us at the end.
>entire Saki's character not present in the original script
Her character always existed.
>Her character always existed.
There's a reason she never appeared in any of the pre-production materials with all the other characters.
There is a reason why she is in the booklet with the sketches.
A single poster and what else?
From what I understood she was supposed to be a supporting character on the same level as Takahi originally.
You're going to have to take my word for that because I'm not going to dig through the archive. It was mentioned somewhere Saki was a last minute addition, I think it was in one of the CDs with seiyuu talking or in Hoshino's comments. Or the lack of them for what that matters, she dedicated an entire section to Akira and Shoko but Saki was put together with assorted students.
And Akira is supposed to be the other heroine with Haruto finding her instead of Shoko.
Yeah, but her character existed from the beginning, and if they changed something about her, they surely didn't change it " last minute", since her character was used to promote Momoko's single. That is not something you change "last minute".
She had a smaller role, that is it. The sketches are from pre-production phase, and the planning-book is dated 2012/10 and her character is already there.
Carmilla is not there for example, but this stuff is dated 2012/10, nothing implies a "last minute" change if they had already that stuff.
I should have specified, a last minute addition to the main story as a love interest. She was probably as relevant as Thunder or Jewbro initially.
You took "last minute" too literally. I didn't meant they waited until the evening of the first screening to sneak Saki in.
Cool watermark. The drawings and text behind it make it difficult to enjoy thoroughly.
Where are the rest of these scans?
>her character was used to promote Momoko's single
You mean the one Haruto and L-Elf were on the cover of?
Yeah, the one which had her song + the ED.
The scan only says she's a popular girl that doesn't get along with anyone, then later becomes a pilot. There is nothing about her becoming a heroine or being dragged into Haruto's drama which ended up being most of her role.
Shoko is described as Haruto's classmate, not childhood friend.
Inuzuka treats well the ladies.
Aina liked Haruto and was supposed to be an operator.
Otamaya likes conspiracy theories.
Nothing about Saki being part of the love triangle or Inuzuka liking Aina. Everything else are things we already know (Akira being the founder of the Wired, Inuzuka wanting to be the richest and so on).
L-Elf x Shoko will be my OTP forever.
>Aina liked Haruto and was supposed to be an operator.
That is interesting, IIRC they even asked this to Okouchi when the anime was airing.
If this says what I think it says, originally the Valvraves changed their pilots' DNA to make piloting easier. The equipment would also be added according to the skills of each pilot.
Nothing about runes or ancient vampires stuck inside them.
And he denied it, didn't he? Those interviews can't be trusted.
Not saying that like A-drei didn't regard L-elf as a friend, but he saw them as comrades. Like almost a business arrangement where they got along to get the job done. In the flashbacks it looked like the boys were friends, I just don't think L-elf quite made the connection it was friendship. Really he does it with Haruto because the guy has no memories anymore.
My poor moon tells me they already had the concept that the Valvraves had a new and strong energy (hard-light) and they required an information-based life-form (magius) to boot it. The only way to get the pilots to pilot would be injecting them with the "information-based life-form" factor? I think. Additionally the pilots had to make a contract with the Valvraves to get their own particles (runes?) absorbed by them every time they start them up. Whenever this happened their bodies would become superhuman. It is speculated that beasts from ancient times such as vampires and werewolves were human beings that had a large intake of these information particles and became inhuman. They would literally become monsters if they kept on piloting, I think this is what it's implying. This page confused the hell out of me though, maybe someone else could provide an actual translation that makes sense.
The students were left with a 10km university town from the country of JIOR after Dorssia took over. ARUS was called ARTO (Atlantic Rim Treaty Organization) and I think JIOR was part of it before being occupied by Dorssia.
>you'll never cream in kriem
Haruto was a student in JIOR's experiment colony school. It's mentioned he ends up piloting accidentally but the reason isn't clear. The Valvrave contract is making him suffer.
L-elf is called the dark hero. It's mentioned he trained in a secret Dorssia agency as a child but there's no hints of a pink haired princess. He wanted to get revenge on Dorssia and teams up with Haruto, becoming their strategist. Fun thing is, they say he was sent to "Japan" for the occupation.
well the anime confirmed that mythological folktale legends were Magius
Jesus was also a Magius
So that aspect didn't really change much
The only pronounced change is having Haruto be a special snowflake and take most of the burden for other other pilots
Hmm.. Do you think the show would be better if everyone paid the same price?
I think it would be more interesting if they all suffered the side effects. As it is everyone got the goods and Haruto paid the price.
Maybe Magius but not also aliens. Would have been interesting if L-elf tried to initially kill Lieselotte before realizing she was a prisoner too. If the part about revenge is true anyway.
>If the part about revenge is true anyway.
Last sentence in the black box of >>101489624
JIOR was inside a glass-Earth suspended in space or something. Series information at the bottom confirms it was 2 cour (24 or 25 episodes) and planned to air between April-September, no summer break. Age target was old teens-30.
Pretty cool. Wish we got a re-made VVV using this information instead.
>Hmm.. Do you think the show would be better if everyone paid the same price?
I have no idea how we always manage to max threads like this.
Setting aside that this is the newest chapter thread, it seems that everyone hasn't still gotten off the wild ride. Besides, it's always fun to discuss how VVV might could have been especially when you look at the side materials they're churning out. Like how this chapter shows how Saki actually escapes unnoticed and without getting attention.
there's 4 more chapters of Saki manga.
I wonder what else will they show. Besides the obvious.
>there's 4 more chapters of Saki manga
>In your opinion. I like how Okouchi works. Valvrave was most likely conditioned by Aniplex meddling and bosses forcing him to add things last minute, like rape for shock value, entire Saki's character not present in the original script, etc. When you read some of his interviews it's clear he had different things in mind when he started it.
whatever decisions they made, this franchise isn't going to be worthwhile and everyone will forget it within this year
After a year or so, it will go into SRW just like Aquarion EVOL!
1 tankouban is 4 chapters
That's shaky reasoning. If there is only one more chapter, it'll be put into vol2.
That argument was debunked with A-drei manga. The second tankobon is going to have 5 chapters.
I haven't forgotten AGE yet. Even though I want to.
For a mech anime to be forgettable you have to be Olynssis grade of unimpressive.
Speak for yourself, anon.
And yet almost two months later, here we are.
I said ARUS is on sale and I mean it.
We're removing the Reefs and the last bit of virgin forests from the Heritage listing.
Even if we don't have farms or fishes anymore. Don't worry, the free market will fix it. We can always eat bank notes.
And uh- youtube, I recommend you stop going against our---I mean ARUS interest.
Even though we're a Elected Monarchy who pride ourselves on freedom of speech we do not like it when plebes dissent against us.
You won't like us when we're angry.
There's almost no replies discussing the chapter though.
>He wanted to get revenge on Dorssia
Oh, wow, the "revenge is useless" bullshit was a change.
Bless you Abbot and bless you Rog.
Even Dorssian scum becomes cute when Saki jacks it.
Among the people Saki jacked so far, who's the best of them all?
>Thunder (Drama CD4)
>L-elf (Drama CD4)
>Akira (VVV Summit Picture Drama)
>Random Dorssian Grunt (Valkyrie of the Meteor Ch08)
Haruto > Akira = K-Wolf > Dorssian guy > L-Elf > Thunda
I want to cum inside Saki!L-Elf
>cumming inside a male
I want Saki!L-Elf to cum inside me.
What the fuck is a 'dark hero', anti hero?
Superman and Batman?
Specially because they send him threats if ShokoxL-Elf happened, because L-Elf is pure for Lieselotte/Haruto/A-drei.
Heroes with dark past
They conquered the Galaxy, there might be some alien immortality herb that keeps him a teenager forever.
He loves Valvrave so much, he becomes a Valvrave like Setsuna became a Gundam.
>mfw being a harutofag in valvrave threads
>yfw being Shokofag
It's a good feeling.
>>Thunder (Drama CD4)
>>L-elf (Drama CD4)
>>Akira (VVV Summit Picture Drama)
Wish I could hear those.
I guess Akira would be real funny, since her personality is night and day different.
See master post for links.
All of them were uploaded by some nice anons.
I'm sure he'll become a little girl soon. Probably.
Looking at these scans I see this show could've went somewhere. I wonder how the writers and director feel when they see that the final product is not what they initially wanted.
I think they don't really care as long as they get payed.
Which threads did you migrate to?
Nobunaga the Fool, Wizards Barristers, Sakura Trick and D-Frag. Not as good as VVV threads though.
non-/a/ ones. I only really come back here for VVV.
Hamatora mainly. A few Nobunaga, BC, and KnB threads.
/a/ was good only during active VVV threads and Medaka Box threads when the manga was on going, so I just lurk /m/ now
These sushi fanarts are making me goddamn hungry.
The first A-drei volume debunked it by having only 3 chapters.
Doesn't debunk anything because there was nothing to compare it to.
A-drei first has 3, second has 5.
Saki first has 4, second has 5.
Deal with it.
Saki's volume was released only a few days after A-drei's volume. The other anon said Saki's would have a 3rd volume simply because there was a 9th chapter and each tankoubon has 4 chapters.
They are different series. You can't cross compare them. Though the other anon was still grasping at nothing since the page count in the Saki manga has been very inconsistent.
That's true, they are different. I was just going by page count, and am assuming Saki's second volume will have 5 chapters.
If your plan was to max the thread and kill it, you're succeeding.
Now watch it die.
This chapter finally delivered some A-Drei/Saki.
It's proper to end it with the fanart of Valvrave's best crack-pairing.
Why are you afraid of saying you like it?
It's even worse than L-Elf x Shoko and Haruto x Saki.
I like it. That does not change the fact that it's "just" a crack-pairing.
>Haruto x Saki
By the way, can I expect a translation of A-Drei's last chapter in the next days?
Thank you for the translation as always.
Editor here, I've already started (fast)cleaning. Should be done in 1-4 days from now. After that I'll take panel clean-up requests. (Where I clean them properly as picture related.)
Calling Saki x Audrey a crack pairing is like saying you watch Valvrave ironically.
>After that I'll take panel clean-up requests. (Where I clean them properly as picture related.)
Can I ask for these two pages >>101448746 >>101448902 and the Saki on the bottom here >>101448866 when you are done? ;_;
Why? It fits the definition of crack-pairing.
It doesn't. Pairings that fit the description are Shoko x Audrey or Hannah x Aina for example.
Delusional shipperfag pls.
Watching Valvrave unironically is what led to people getting upset at the ending.
But H-Neun did try to flirt with Aina, didn't he?
What's your definition of crack-pairing?
Personally, I watched it unironically and wasn't upset.
I guess you're right and H-neun x Aina could be legit ship. Crack pairings should be pairings that don't make any sense because the characters don't have shipping inducing interactions or interactions at all.
By that logic L-elf x Shoko isn't a crackship either.
I never said it was.
I watched it ironically and unironically.
Okay, nice to know.
Based. I will give you a __kiss__ ASAP.
A-an-anon that's a bit..
Since >>101523715 already asked for the spread and last page I will only request for >>101448329
Thanks for your work.
Me too. I really like the cover.
