How many of you actually buy anime on DVD? I never do. Only Berserk.
I only buy series that I like. Welcome to the NHK is my most recent purchase.
Sort of hard to do that when you don't have a job.
I'd buy the Shinobuden box set if I had the money.
I do. I even set up a viewing "schedule" (one episode a week naturally) just to make sure I actually use what I pay for rather than just letting it rot.
I buy them, and I don't care what people think of it.
until Geneon gets it's shit straight there is nothing out I am buying except for GL
I don't have the money. And I don't care because I have torrents.
>I never do.
OP you are a good man.
Also, Berserk dub blooper reel is funnier than any actual comedy anime.
I own all the UC Gundam series that were released in the US. At one episode a week it took me 2 1/2 years to go from MSG -> CCA. Annoyingly, Bandai didn't see fit to release ZZ Gundam within that timespan or well... ever so my experience still feels incomplete.
I bought nearly 200 DVDs back when I got my first summer job.
Now I more or less buy the series I feel kick ass and deserve my support. Lately though... there haven't been may great shows.
the only DVDs i buy are empty ones, spending money on anime is pointless.
I watch all my anime by fansubs. If the series is something that hits me hard or it just deserves more attention I buy the DVD box.
If I had the cash, sure, I'd buy a few of my favorite shows. The ones I'd watch over and over.
I ordered Giant Robo and Ginrei Special for like 24 bux.
Buying anime DVDs is worth it when it is cheap.
I don't have the cash, nor the space to spare for all my favourite shows, if I were to purchase 'em.
