Just finished watching Watamote. I strangely can't seem to figure out how I feel about it. It was somewhat funny, with very few hilarious scenes peppered in, but it was kind of boring for the most part. For some reason I kind of liked it though, it's weird. I honestly think that the opening and ending themes alone may have influenced my opinion somehow, idk.
What does /a/ think of Watashi ga Motenai no wa dō Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui!
>less than five inches tall
I will never get over this.
I liked it for the most part.
It hit pretty close to home. In highschool I only had a couple of friends and they were never even particularly close. Unlike Tomoko i'm just an introvert, not a borderline autistic sperg-lord. At least I had the benefit of understanding why I wasn't popular; and I wasn't really quiet.
Overall, it's an interesting show, but not perfect. It was a fun little meta-examination of the otaku/hikkikomori lifestyle, and it genuinely pulled at my heartstrings on occasion. I mostly just wanted to tell Tomoko to stop acting so awkwardly though.
Excuse my samefagging, but that's supposed to be "I wasn't really akward."
yea, it's kind of hard to not shout at her through the screen to speak the fuck up.
poor girl, she's adorable...
does anyone not in highschool and in college suffer from tomoko syndrome
>nothings changed, nothings ever going to change
Ha! I never even noticed that.
It was a great show. One of the best in 2013.
Yes, it did hit closer to home than any other show I've ever watched, though I wish she wasn't such a social potato.
It was kind of boring for the most part, but the small snippets of hilarity really made me like it.
>Yandere Boys Verbal Abuse CD
It honestly wasn't very funny except for a few of the jokes.
The references weren't all that funny either.
Hated the animation.
